The Legend of Zelda Equestrian Sword

The sun shined brightly over the sea of clouds in the sky that seemed to go on endlessly. To most people it would be inhospitable to live there,let alone get there. But surprisingly a civilization of humans thrived and lived on a floating hunk of land in the sky known as Skyloft. It was always peaceful there until the unthinkable happened in which a boy who dressed in green saved their world from a ancient evil and also discovered a new,fertile land which the people named Hyrule. Most people who lived in skyloft wanted to explore this new land and moved to the surface,but others wanted to stay in skyloft. Our adventure begins in skyloft where the boy named Link and his childhood friend Zelda are helping people move to the surface. Little does Link know that he will go on a new adventure that is strangely familiar to his first one.

"thanks for helping the residents move their belongings" said Gaepora to Zelda. He was Zelda's father and administrated the knight  Academy that Link was a senior at. "No problem father" said Zelda in a respectful voice;we love to help don't we Link?.

Link was carrying a big crate and stopped  next to the two to set it down with a loud "CLUNK".Link slouched his whole upper body and breathed heavy,trying to recover from the crate. Zelda and Gaepora laughed at his misfortune and Link slightly did also in between his breathing. "Well I think that's all we can do" said Zelda with a satisfied voice. "I'm going to stay with my father for a bit more;you can go if you wa-"    before Zelda finished her sentence Link was long gone and could already be seen flying his loftwing (loftwings were large birds the people of skyloft flew) in the sky.

Zelda let out a giggle; "Oh, Link, you'll never change".

It was a beautiful day in the sky as Link and his loftwing flew to the east where their known entrance to the surface was. they moved closer to the surface going to land,until something caught Link's eye that was farther east of him.

"Is that.... a castle?', he thought to himself. His only knowledge of what a castle was, came from plans  of one that Gaepora wanted built, "sometime in the future" he would always say if the question was brought up.

"I'll just go check it out" he thought as he and his loftwing moved under a gap in the clouds to see the mysterious castle.

What Link saw next shocked him. Not only was there a castle built into a giant mountain but a large city built NEXT too that to. AND a rather large village built in a valley that him and his loftwing were now flying over. And also a rather foreboding forest near it also.

"What kind of place is this?" he thought.

He would soon find out that it was quite a different one in fact.

Meanwhile on the outskirts of ponyville in the land of Equestria three small fillies, a pegesus named scootaloo, a unicorn named sweetie bell and a earth pony named applebloom were trying their latest attempt at getting a cutie mark.  This time in trying to become "Cutie mark crusader catapult launchers" as the one named scootaloo named it.

"Um, scootaloo?" said Applebloom while looking over the catapult.

It was a rather impressive well built catapult despite being made by three fillies in well over a couple of hours.

"Are, ya sure this is goin ta, work?, ah mean we've tried pretty much everything ta get our cutiemarks and we STILL don't have em"

"Of course it will,  said scootaloo while tightening a bolt with a wrench.

"Ah guess" she said.

There was silence for a moment before they saw the shape of sweetie bell come into view from farther down the road, running.

"Hey sweetie belle" said applebloom and scootaloo as she came over to them.

"Hey guys" she said while slightly catching her breath from  running. "Are we ready to launch it yet?"

"YEAH!!" they both said while joyously chanting, "Cutie Mark crusader catapult launchers Go!"

While Link and his loftwing were flying over Equestria he was still trying to make sense of where he was.

"I sure want to investigate all this" he said.

"But....it looks like there's sentient life here".

He looked down and could barely make out the ponies' shapes as he was almost over the village.

"pretty...... weird life if ya, ask me".

Just then Link could see a rather round object rocketing towards him.

He quickly figured out it was a rather big rock about to hit him and his Loftwing.

Panicked, Link tried to get his Loftwing to speed up to go past the rock ,but to no avail as his Loftwing wouldn't let him go faster.

The rock firmly made painful contact on them both causing Link to fall from his giant bird and started falling down to Ponyville. His Loftwing had sprained a wing from the rock causing it to plummet downwards. Judging from the altitude of the bird's descent Link reasoned it would probably land in a field,witch strangely had a bulls eye target. Was this a planned attack, or just a mere coincidence?.

Link reached for his sailcloth, a piece of fabric he used like a parachute to break his fall from high places. He only found out that it was stuck in between his other equipment.

"Come on, come on!" he quickly thought as he was dangerously coming close to crashing into a giant tree which strangely had a balcony.

Link could only think of one thing as he was mere inches from a window in the tree.

"Brace for Impact".

"Wow, look at go!" said scootaloo while she and the others watched the rock fly far from view.

The three fillys looked at their flanks expectantly to find cutie marks, but to no avail as nothing showed up. They comically drooped their heads like a sign of defeat.

"Well, at least we have a way to get around town easier" said sweetie Belle trying to lighten the mood.

"Yeah, a painful way to get around" said scootaloo. "come on girls, its back to the drawing board".

They then started to move the catapult on a dolly made specifically for the catapult which made it easier to transport.

As they traveled back sweetie belle swore she saw something falling,but paid it no mind as she was focused in moving to catapult.

Meanwhile in the town of ponyville at the Golden oaks library, a baby dragon named spike was organizing books for his friend and mother like figure, a unicorn named twilight sparkle. The two of them had just recently moved to ponyville by the request of the prestigious princess celestia, who wanted twilight to make some friends and prepare for the summer sun celebration. Twilight left her presence disgruntled and not wanting to really make friends, but  ended up saving Equestria from the dreaded nightmare moon and met five mares: pinkie pie, rainbow dash,fluttershy,applejack and Rarity, that became her best friends. Now it seemed that they always had adventures while spike was always left behind and didn't have any fun.

"I won't be gone long, spike" said twilight as she prepared a saddle bag for her to carry. I just have to get more quills and paper for us
