The nightguard
Previous ChapterNext Chapter
Every night I see her fly
like an angel in the sky
Don´t dare to wake
too high is the stake
that she fall into her doom
so I bring her back into her room.
She sleeps so tight
in the wind of the night
Her wings without the haste
in her dreams unblemished paced
Why will she not find
this peace at awaken mind?
I hear about her daily struggle
I see her embrace and snuggle
with the nights tranquility,
reaching out for availability
for someting she already does
when she forgets about the fuzz.
Sleep thight, sleep well, sleep safe.
Remember the dream the night had gave
to you my little nightly chore
you are not bound to the floor.
I wished I could show to you,
how great you fly, young Scootaloo.
