My Little Pony: Surely Hell Cannot Be So Terrible

War. War never changes. The players and weapons may change, but the reasons stay the same: greed, envy, revenge, and power. War has also been made into something worse than Hell. Surely, Hell cannot be so terrible in that case. Our story begins in the United States, 2021. Nuclear warfare wipes out most of the world in blazes of atomic fire. In August 2021, the world population rests at one and a half million living souls. The survivors brave the wastes and fight over what little remains in the world. Fighting becomes large stalemates in trenches that are only slightly better than those of the First World War. By the beginning of 2022, an entire generation of young men and women have given their lives for their fragmented countries and their loved ones.

    Our focus is on one Sergeant Theodosius Medved, a man of twenty-six years who is serving in the United States Marine Corps, reinstated in May of 2022. He will soon be given another chance at life in a whole new world, but will he defend this world or will he let it be devoured as his was?
