Previous ChapterNext ChapterAhead of her loomed a great wall of grey clouds, stretching from the sea all the way up the sky. It had an abrupt end; no pieces of dark storm passed beyond the edge of the wall, but she could hear the sounds of thunder and the roaring of massive waves even from this far away. And yet, she stood on the bow of the boat with a determined grin. She'd made it this far; what was this but just a storm? It wouldn't be the first, after all. Her horn lit up, and the sail lowered further.
The boat went into the storm. Twilight was not afraid.
