Look, I was a fan of My Little Pony as much as any other brony, even if I I never really associated myself with the fandom. Don't get me wrong, I admired the talent that fans put in their works. Just, sometimes, I thought they could a bit… zealous I suppose would be a word. I had my own fantasies of visiting Equestria, and God knows I have read the plenty of the fantasies of others, but I never really had a big desire to be trapped in that world. I had it pretty good over here on Earth.

But I can't really say it's been all bad. I'm finally back, and I have a well respected position as a diplomat. The road that lead to this point was very long and at times felt like it would never end. The humans taken by The Rapture did not have an easy road and we suffered many losses along the way. But we made it. So to mark the first Anniversary of our two worlds joining together, I am releasing this book so that everyone can have a complete and published account of how humans and Equestrians became allied species.

I actually started this piece a couple years back, I believe it was right after season 2 if I remember correctly. I wanted to have a bit of it written down before I posted it but never really go to the point where I was satisfied. I've decided that now, nearly 3 years later to start up writing it again.

Any and all criticism is welcome because that is the only way I can get better at writing.
