Pinkie crawled out of bed, the springing up, she ran outside to her balcony.

"Good Morning Ponyville!" She shouted, rushing back inside. She zoomed to her calendar, looking over it skeptically. Then she gasped.

"Oh. My. Celestia. Yes! Today's the day! It's Diamond Tiara's birthday! Alrighty, I better go see Filthy Rich. She trotted down the stairs seeing Mrs. Cake wrapping up a cardboard box.

"OOOh, Mrs. Cake! Watcha' doin'!" Pinkie said , staring at the box intensely. Mrs. Cake chuckled slightly.

"Oh Pinkie Pie, it's for the little filly, she has your beautiful pink coat and sparkling blue eyes, but has purple and white mane. Pinkie laughed softly,

"Yeah, Well, is it done? can I take it!" She exclaimed. staring at her boss. Mrs. Cake shook her head.

"No, Filthy Rich is very picky and we still have to add four more layers at least. Pinkie shrugged waved goodbye, and walked outside, then she stopped, noticing a note on the ground.

"MRS. CAKE! Oh wait- never mind!" Pinkie yelled into the bakery. It wrote,

Pinkamena Dianne Pie

and that's it. She told Mrs. Cake to leave it on the counter, and make sure nopony takes it, then continued her trek to Filthy Rich's house. The outskirts of Ponyville were calm and beautiful, it was hard to believe anything bad could happen in this little town, but everything bad does. However, that doesn't mean Pinkie Pie wouldn't do her best to keep ponies smiling no matter what event happened. She finally reached the house, the mansion towered over her, made her feel so small. She slowly knocked on the door staring back in the opposite direction not to feel cowered by the building. Diamond Tiara's mom, spoiled Rich answered the door. She scoffed seeing the nervous pink pony trying to fake a smile, Spoiled Rich invited her in, frowning all the way.

'So..." Pinkie started with a nervous chuckle.

"What are the plans for the little filly?" She asked walking to a sofa.

"How about you stand, mannerly much?" Spoiled Rich remarked, fluffing up and whipping off dust off the couch Pinkie almost sat on.

"We were thinking about perhaps setting up a fancy party, one only, special ponies can attend. Only her friends like Silver Spoon." She continued, straightening a picture of Diamond Tiara and Silver Spoon attending a special party in regal dresses.

"What about her other friends, AppleBloom? Sweetie Belle? Scootaloo? Also, will I be attending considering a few things, what will the décor be like, cutie marks or diamonds?" Pinkie asked galloping around the crystal shiny floor looking at the walls waiting to be inspired. Spoiled Rich gasped.

"Those dirty, disgusting, non- worthy of knowing my daughter for other than her fabulousness, fillies! And you? The town baker? Also, cutie marks, are you kidding me? You ponies have no taste at all. The only reason Filthy Rich is here is because of his business with the apple family, if it wasn't, we wouldn't be here! But unfortunately, we are, so you are to make things perfect, most intricate, no more, and no less, the least you could do is get your friend which actually has good taste, Rarity to help you." She said, pushing Pinkie Pie outside, and slamming the door.

"Goodbye!" She yelled, You could still hear the loud stomping of hooves from inside. Pinkie gave a huff, and stomped away, to Rarity's boutique.

                                                                                                                                            *

"And then she said, 'the least you could do is get your friend which actually has good taste, Rarity to help you.' What a- a- big, meanie!" Pinkie complained to her unicorn friend. Rarity nodded in agreement.

"I'll perfectly agree that I have good taste, but that's all in how I feel, to you have good taste, to Twilight, rainbow, Fluttershy, even... Applejack has their own very good taste, I do very well think that was very rude of her to say such a thing. A-ha! Done!" She said, lifting up a small blue gown with her aurora magic. She laid it down in a pink basket covered with confetti and such.

"Ooh! Who's that for?" Pinkie asked staring at the small gown.

"Oh, it's for the foal you were talking about, Diamond Tiara, oh such a sweet little gem, I'd love to have her as an apprentice..." Rarity goggled, her eyes going wide. Pinkie murmured something under her breath Rarity couldn't hear. She lifted her head smiling again. Rarity sighed seeing a pile of papers and laundry in a corner.

"Sweetie Belle!" She shouted, and the small unicorn zipped into the room smiling.

"What's this?" Rarity asked pointing at the pile. Sweetie groaned and flew herself forward.

"UHHH! Why me?!" She complained dragging the herself to the pile, then grunting, trying to push it forward.

"Well, I didn't do it, and you're the only one here to make it," Rarity talked back.

"But I, didn't do it!" Sweetie Belle yelled, causing Rarity to flinch.

"Then who did?" Rarity complied sarcastically.

"I don't know! The CAT!" Sweetie Belle argued, trying to pick up the pile with her magic, succeeding and throwing it down the hall into the laundry room.  Opalescence hissed, flying out the room, behind the door she smirked. Rarity gasped.

"HOW DARE YOU!?" She screamed walking out the room,

"Good day Pinkie..." She continued down the hall. Pinkie stared at the small unicorn filly, who was growling looking at the door.

"So, have a good day? Bye..." Pinkie said walking away.

"Wait! Are you hosting Diamond Tiara's party?!" Sweetie Belle called back.

"I think..." Pinkie replied softly.

"Can you try to get us to her party? Thanks bye!" Sweetie Belle shouted, galloping out the door to the door of the boutique. Pinkie sighed and trotted back to Sugar Cube Corner. She usually got excited to host birthday parties, but this one just confused her. And all the ponies in Ponyville when they saw how concentrated She was in her thoughts, they'd never seen her like that. She arrived at Sugar Cube Corner, her eyes at the ground, she stared at the wooden floor walking up the stairs.

"Wait Pinkie! Did you want this card?" Mrs. Cake stopped her, holding the parchment in her hoof.

"Oh... yeah." Pinkie Pie replied, gripping it in her hoof, trotting up the stairs to her room. Mrs. Cake sighed, knowing something was up, but decided to leave it for her employee's glumness, but her husband called her back, and she ran to the kitchen. Upstairs, Pinkie lie on her bed, thinking, trying to be inspired, for once, with parties she was stumped. She ripped open the letter's folder, and read it, she gasped, and galloped downstairs.
