//-------------------------------------------------------// A Sweet Evening -by Shy Sparkle- //-------------------------------------------------------// //-------------------------------------------------------// The Date //-------------------------------------------------------// The Date It was a regular day in the Crystal Empire. The Crystal Ponies were doing their jobs, staying in their houses or just admiring the beauty of their location. Twilight Sparkle, the newest princess of Equestria, was sitting in the castle's balcony. After all, it was a very hard day, Twilight admitted it. All she needed were just a few moments of relaxation. "Hi, Twilight" a voice said. The princess turned around and spotted Flash Sentry, the empire's newest guard. "Um, hi, Flash" she replied. "It's a wonderful evening, right?" Flash asked. Twilight nodded. "After all of my adventures in the other world, it's pretty good to be alone in such a great day." "Well, if you want to be alone, then..." the guard started to say, then turned around to leave. "No, it's fine!" the princess quickly replied. "Alright, if you say so... Anyways, there is something I want to ask you." Flash said. "What?" Twilight asked. "Do you want to go with me at a date?" the guard asked. Twilight gasped. "Alright, I think." Flash grabbed Twilight's hoof and led her to the finest restaurant in the Crystal Empire. "Here." the guard said, pointing his hoof to the nearest table. The two sat down at the table. Twilight levitated the menu with her magic, while Flash grabbed his with his hooves. A white unicorn mare with blue hair and yellow eyes went to them, levitating a notepad. "Hello, may I take your-" she started to say, but gasped. "It's Princess Twilight Sparkle!" "Seriously, miss, you don't need to take this too seriously" Twilight calmed her down. "Oh" the blue mare spoke. "Anyways, may I take your order?" "I would like some some pasta and a lemonade. Flash and I will share it" Twilight said. The blue mare walked to the counter. Flash and Twilight felt a sensation of strong love between them. "Well, Twilight... How was your journey?" Flash spoke. "It was crazy!" Twilight replied. "I had to go on those sticks called legs and I also had more sticks called hands!" Flash laughed. "I think it was pretty funny, after all." "But a crazier thing is that I met a guy that was exactly like you!" the princess spoke. The blue mare came back with the lemonade and two glasses, then left. Twilight poured lemonade in her glass, then in Flash's. "So, you said that you met someone just like me?" Flash asked. "Yeah" Twilight blushed. "Well, he wasn't just like you, but... Whatever." Flash looked deeply into her eyes. "Why are you staring like that?" the princess asked. "Well, I couldn't ignore that beautiful gaze of yours." the guard replied. Twilight blushed. "Aww, that's so sweet!" The waitress came back with the pasta and two forks and left. "Thank you" Flash spoke. He turned back to Twilight. "Twilight, um... so, can you explain me what happened?" Twilight sighed. "It's a long story, so if you want to hear it all..." Flash giggled. "Please." "Okay, so, after I passed through the mirror, I met five girls that looked exactly like my friends. Then, Sunset Shimmer tricked the others that I destroyed some decorations and..." Before Twilight finished her sentence, she found herself sharing the same noodle with Flash. They both sucked on it, and as soon they started it, they begun to come closer to each other. And closer, until...
