In most universes, Lyra Heartstrings is a perfectly ordinary mare, with a — perhaps unhealthy — obsession with humans and the hands attached to them.

I say most universes, because in this one Lyra has never heard of humans and has little to no interest in hands. Interestingly though, this it one of the worlds where Lyra actually has hands. This is also the one where she’s eighty percent metal and the apocalypse happened two hundred years ago.

Awakened and thrust into the wasteland, will Mis Heartstrings be able to find friendship? or will Project Steelpony’s ‘last shake of the bag’ die like so many before her*?

*(obviously she doesn’t**, or this wouldn’t be much of a story would it?)
