Hoofsteps, quietly filled Canterlot Castle as a white alicorn, came up to the balcony to raise the sun once again. She knew that, this day, is not like every other sunrise in days long past. This particular day, was the night of a grand ball; held in honor of a prince from another kingdom, who was seeking a bride. Celestia had thought of many elgible young mares to impress the prince. But not a single one in her own mind, really did impress her even. As she opened her wings, and glowed her horn, Celestia had imediately thought of the prince's request for a bride. He specficcly said that, he was looking for a mare who was thoughtful and kind to everypony around her. That she knows the meaning of what beauty really is. And most importantly, loves animals and foals.

"When the prince sees his bride", Celestia said, as she put the sun to the perfect postion in the sky. "He'll love her at first sight and she with him." The beautiful first morning rays of the sun, gave all of Equestria the combining swifts of hope and excitment as the very special day for all young mares suit their very finest clothes to impress the prince. Carousel Botique, is the most popular spot in Ponyville to let a snow white unicorn help the mares to look their very best for the prince. "There's nothing I enjoy seeing then mares coming to my shop on this very special day", said Rarity holding up one of her masterpieces up with her magic. A gasp, escape from her mouth, as she pulled out a piece of paper, a pencil, and her glasses to make a gown design, which will be, in Rarity's own oppion, the very best one that she had ever made with her own hooves.

The little bell attached to the shop door, made a little ringing sound as the pony opened it. Rarity rushed out to greet the custmor. When saw the mare, however, she had a sour expression on her face, regretting her excitment short after. The pony, was a scarlet unicorn, with a mane and tail that were as white as a pearl. Rarity could see that this unicorn was very vain by the way she held a small mirror with her magic staring at the small glass with her face and said with a smerk, "Never hurts to be the fairest of them all." Rarity turned away from the unicorn, mumbling some cruel words under her breath, trying not to say them out loud.

"How can I help you miss?" Rarity asked smiling a strained smile from which the scarlet unicorn surely noticed.

"I am Rose Petal, and I need somepony of your talents to help me with my gown", the unicorn said, as she walked to one of the dresses.

"Oh yes of course, Ms. Petal I can completely assure you that here in Carousel Botique every gown is made with TLC, Time, Love and Coture." Rarity went to the back room, and with her magic, brought out a dress that she had just finished. Rose Petal gave Rarity a glance, which made Rarity, extremly uncomfortable. Then, Rose Petal, looked at the dress, then back at Rarity. Rarity set the maniquin down, to let the scarlet unicorn, see the dress better in the light.

"I love it", Rose Petal said, as a small cakcle escaped from her throat. Rarity sawllowed a lump that formed in her own throat as she gave Rose Petal the dress. "I'll be sure to be the bell of the ball." Rose Petal, paid for the dress and walked out of the shop.

Rarity knew she had to be on top of her game, for the one dress she had in mind of her dear friends, who had also been called to the ball. The same friend who hangs out with her at the spa every week in the afternoon. A yellow Pegasus formed in the unicorn's mind. She imagined her being at the ball with the most beautiful dress anypony has ever seen that will surely impress the prince. Rarity galloped back upstairs and poured her heart and soul into the gown. She had snipped the pieces carefully into elegant shapes for the pony she had in mind. Sorting the pieces by size, Rarity sewed the parts into all equal places of the maniquin. Putting the final touches, the dress was complete. Just in time when a familar voice said softly, "Rarity, I'm ready to see my dress for the ball. I don't know if I'll win the heart of the prince but, I'll try."

"Fluttershy darling, no stallion can ever say no to you once they see you in this. It was inspried by your meaning of beauty. I call it Springtime Beauty." The dress, was a teal kind with a long flowing train like a waterfall, and flowers and birds etched along the top, front, and sides.

Fluttershy gave a small squeal to her friend as she hugged her tightly in her forelegs. Rarity pulled out of her friends embrace and said, :We simply must get you ready it's almost time for the ball." Fluttershy and her animal friends helped Rarity get the yellow Pegasus ready for the biggest night in all of Equestria. As the sun began to disappear and the moon slowly fill the sky with stars, a golden carrige pulled up to the botique and the ponies pulling it called out, "Ms. Fluttershy and Ms. Rarity, we're here to take you two to the ball."

Fluttershy and Rarity strolled out the door, Fluttershy's appearnce gave the carrige drivers a look of awe on their faces. The two mares climbed in, and the carrige rode of to Canterlot Castle where the ball was held. At the castle, Princess Celestia and Princess Luna looked down to where the prince was examaning the mares hoping one of them will be his bride but found none.

"Dear sister he doesn't seem to be impressed by any of them", Luna said to her sister with a look of sorrow on her face.

"I agree Luna, even that vain scarlet unicorn doesn't deserve him", Celestia said looking back at her sister. The castle doors opened and standing at the helm of them, were Rarity and Fluttershy. Rarity and Fluttershy walked into the ballroom. Everypony stopped and stared at them both. Rarity let Fluttershy walk down first. The ponies couldn't keep their eyes off of her. Rarity beamed when she noticed a unicorn stallion that was the prince came up to Fluttershy.

"My dear lady it would give me a great honor to do the first dance with me. I am Prince Heart Stone", said the prince. He was a gold unicorn with a mane and tail like the ocean. He was dressed in a royal cape that flowed like a river behind him as he walked.

"It will be my honor Your Highness." Fluttershy was taken by the prince's embrace, as they waltzed around the ballroom. Step by step. Pace by pace. Celestia and Luna knew that Prince Heart Stone was truly in love with Fluttershy by the look in his eyes. Fluttershy was exactly how the prince wanted in a bride. She was thoughtful and kind, knew the meaning of true beauty, and loves animals and foals. Fluttershy and the prince danced and danced and had spent the whole evening with each other in general. Rarity called out to Fluttershy at the stroke of midnight. Fluttershy raced out, leaving her daisy headress behind.

The next morning, Fluttershy was hoping that maybe she would see her prince again. She really was in love with him. She imagined him holding her in his forelegs. Fluttershy's flashback was interupted by a knock on her door. She walked up and answered it. Who was standing there on the other side made her yelp.

"Ms. Fluttershy we must escort you to the castle", said the royal guard.

"What ever for?" Fluttershy mumbled.

"For your wedding of course", said a voice from behind the guards. That voice came from the sun princess herself.

Fluttershy gasped in delight. "You mean I'm the prince's bride? I'm marrying him?!"

"You sure are my dear."

Fluttershy was sent to the castle where everything was going according to Twilight's best organization. Her wedding dress was a long folowing dress with gold stiched on the outer layers. Her wedding cake was a chocolate with vanilia frosting just as the prince requested. The ceremony was grand, yet small just as Fluttershy wanted. And now Prince Heart Stone and Princess Fluttershy are living happily with the love that whispers through the wind.
