"Fluttershy! Are you ready to do this?" Rainbow Dash yelled from above.
"I don't know Dash, I don't want you to get hurt..." Fluttershy said as loud as she could from the floor.
"Uhg, why does she have to be a worry wort?" Rainbow muttered. "10! 9! 8!"
"Eeekkk!" Fluttershy moved, so that she wouldn't be in Rainbow's way.
Rainbow Dash was planning on doing a Sonic Rainboom, with her eyes closed. As Rainbow was flying high into the air she felt the air flowing through her rainbow mane. She was thinking on her way up. This is sure to get me into the Wonderbolts! Rainbow came to a stop, she was at a high enough point.
You can do this!Rainbow closed her eyes,dived down, a little slow, but gaining speed as she sped down. She counted, 1 second, 2 seconds.. Rainbow kept counting, assuming Twilight got her calculations correct, Rainbow needed to count to 37. 29,30,31,32

"So Rainbow," Twilight began. "Did you know that your Sonic Rainboom, might be controlled by your element in a way?"
"Your point?" Rainbow was sitting in a tree waking up from a nap.
"Remember when you did your first Rainboom? You were determined to win for Fluttershy right? Also when you saved Rarity? Loyalty! You were there for Fluttershy, when you knew you needed to be. Also, you risked not winning the Best Young Fliers Competition, just to save your friend."
"But what about when she did the Rainboom at Cadence and Shining Armor's wedding?" Pinkie Pie said as she was combing Gummy's scales. "Was that being loyal? Oh Oh OH! Maybe she did some-" Pinkie got cut off.
"Pinkie that was just me doing it."
"Shoot. That ruins my theory." Twilight muttered.
"You guys are sooooo boring today. Im out." Dash flew away, heading to Sweet Apple Acres.

Rainbow caught sight of Applejack and landed. "Hey." Rainbow took an apple out of the bucket the apples were dropping into. This is a good apple...
"Whats goin' on?" Aj said taking a break from bucking trees.
"Ehh, bored."
"Wanna' help me with my chores?"
"As if." Rainbow snorted. "Hmmm.. Truth or Dare?"
"Okay, Truth." Aj agreed to the game.
"Have you ever...." Dash looked around for something to use. She spotted Granny Smith. "Have you ever yelled at Granny Smith?" Applejack cringed when she finished.
"Um," Aj may have been the element of Honesty, but she had a hard time telling the truth sometimes. "Yes, but its none of yer beeswax to know why."
"I pick truth." Rainbow said as she realized that it was her turn.
"Have you ever..." Aj looked stumped. "Had a crush on a colt?" She smirked.
Rainbow, to Applejack's surprise, looked confident. "Nope. Don't believe in such things. It would keep me from being awesome!"
"Mk sugarcube..." Applejack wasn't surprised by Rainbow's remark, but continued. "Dare."
"I dare you to do a Sonic Rainboom."
"How am I supposed to do that?"
"I dunno. Twilight put it into my head."
"Your turn." Aj sighed.
"Dare."
"Hmmm... Ya say you have the Rainboom on your mind?" Rainbow nodded to this question. "I dare you to do a Rainboom with your eyes closed!" Applejack said.w
"I could totally do that."
"I was joking." Aj looked worried. "I dont want you to get hurt."
"A dare is a dare!" Dash said matter of factly.
"Dang nabbit. Me and my big mouth." AJ scolded herself.

"Fluttershy?" Rainbow knocked on the door of the yellow pegasus's cottage. Please answer... Suddenly, Angel the bunny opened the door. "Hey bud.. Um, can I talk to Fluttershy?" Angel hopped away, and Fluttershy came to the door.
"Uh, hello?" Fluttershy said in her soft, shy voice.
"Hey." Rainbow said.
"Oh! Rainbow."
"So.. Aj dared me to do something..."
"Okay, um, do I need to help?" Fluttershy looked worried.
"Sorta, I want you to watch for me."
"Are we going to some kind of competition?"
"No, we arnt. I want you to see me do a Sonic Rainboom, with my eyes closed. So..." Rainbow stopped for a second. "So I have proof. That I was able to do it." Or in case I get hurt...
"Okay.."
"Meet me at the park." Rainbow told Fluttershy, and flew off. Rainbow was looking for Twilight. She checked the park first, because that was where they were hanging before.
"Hey, Dashie!" Pinkie said bouncing high up, to reach Rainbow.
"Hey, you seen Twilight since I left?"
"Yeah! She went back to her castle." Pinkie began. "She said something about breaking through waves... Maybe shes going to the lake later..." She picked up Gummy. "Do you know what she meant?" Gummy of course didn't answer, but Pinkie shook him trying to get him to.
"Okay..." Rainbow flew off to Twilight's castle. "Twilight?" She called with her voice echoing through the empty crystal walls. Rainbow kept walking until she reached the throne room. (Rarity liked to make it sound formally so, it stuck.) Rainbow pushed open the door.
"Rainbow Dash? I thought I was 'sooooo boring today'?" Twilight said with a chuckle.
"You are. But I need you to do something." Rainbow told Twi, ignoring the snickering.
"Okay?"
"Can you figure out how many seconds I would need to count if I reach a high enough point, and go down to do a Sonic Rainboom?" Rainbow thought about what she had just said, and she didnt understand her self.
"You would need to count to 37." Twilight said after a moment.
"Whoa, okay.." How did she understand what I said, when I didnt? "Thanks." And Rainbow flew off.
