High Middle Ages, centuries before the Collapse and eventual formation of the three tribes of Earth, Unicorn, and Pegasus ponies. The land lies divided between many kingdoms, most ruled by a single one of the three races. The Kingdom of Grossadler is a rare and unique exception, not only home to Unicorn, Pegasus, and Earth Pony alike, but also under a social system without favoritism toward any of the three races. Despite this the kingdom is not without it's wars and conflicts, and one knight of it's banner will end up entering a war against an enemy with a new magic unlike anything ever before seen in the known world. A threat not only to his own banner, but to all banners of the known world.
