To bring joy to one, Brings sadness to the other. _____________________ It was a beautiful day in Ponyville as Equestrias Greatest Flyer was practicing some tricks around an open field. As she landed on the ground after a day's worth of practicing she saw a mysterious Alicorn Colt hovering clumsily towards Ponyville. "Hey, You There!" said Rainbow Dash as she started Dashing towards the Colt as she continued to say "You need some help?" The Colt just answered "N-No Thanks, I can handle flying myself." as he clumsily hovered his way into Ponyville, but then Rainbow Dash went in front of him and stopped him. "So, what's your name?, I haven't seen you around here." asked Rainbow Dash as she landed on the ground in front of the Colt. "Oh uh... my name's Moonlit Guardian, and you?" asked Moonlit Guardian Rainbow Dash answered "My names Rainbow Dash! The Fastest Flyer in all of Equestria!" and then she began to fly high into the sky, then she flew downward at high velocities as she began to do loops and helixes in the air and a bunch of other tricks. "Woah Cool!" shouted Moonlit Guardian as he landed on the ground and applauded Rainbow Dash. As Rainbow Dash landed on the ground after her masterful showcase of tricks Moonlit Guardian said "That was awesome!" "Yeah, that's what a lot of ponies say." boasted Rainbow Dash as she hovered in the air and did a 360 degree helix turn. Moonlit Guardian said "I can't really fly as well since my right wing keeps on moving a lot of faster than my left wing, making me un-balanced." and then Moonlit Guardian tried hovering in the air but his right wing had un-balanced him and he fall onto his left side. Rainbow Dash asked "Woah Moonlit, anything wrong with your wing on the right side?" as she walked up and started inspecting it. "N-no!, there's nothing wrong with that wing... it's just... I don't really have full control over it." said Moonlit in a shy tone. Rainbow Dash kept on inspecting Moonlits right wing and poking it with her hoof. When Rainbow Dash poked Moonlit Guardian's right wing with her hoof his wing had extended and then contracted in a time span of 3 seconds. Moonlit shook as this happened and Dash couldn't figure out the reason of why his wing is doing that. "Hey Moon, try hovering like this." said Rainbow Dash as she started hovering in the air with her wings moving properly. Moonlit nodded as he started to ascend into the air and hovering on the spot, but then a few seconds later his right wing had started to move even faster and then he once again, fell onto his side. "AAAGH!" screamed Moonlit as his wing freaked out, but a few seconds later he got back up and blushed a bit. "Yeah... I can't tell what's wrong" said Moonlit as he looked at his wing. Rainbow Dash giggled lightly and said "Maybe we should get Twi to check out your wing there." and then Dash started hovering. "Wait who's this... 'Twi'?" asked Moonlit and Rainbow Dash answered, "Just follow me to her place." And then she slowly hovered her way to Twilight Sparkles place so that Moonlit Guardian is able to follow. Moonlit Guardian followed closely and looked side to side and saw some of the ponyfolk in Ponyville just staring at him. He kept walking on close to Rainbow Dash, towards the humble abode of Twilight Sparkle. They were halfway there until a certain pink earth pony somehow appeared out of nowhere infront of Moonlit and spooked him. "Ooo!I'veneverseenyoubefore!Cool,youranalicorn!MynamesPinkiePieandwhat'syourname?" and Pinkie Pie smiled in front of Moonlit Guardian and continued, "You know what this calls for? A Par-" but a hoof from Rainbow Dash stopped her from continuing. "Ugh, Pinkie Pie... don't act all ballistic on him." said Rainbow Dash as she saw Moonlit Guardian smiling awkwardly, "His names Moonlit Guardian and I was just taking him to Twilights library to get his wing check out." Pinkie Pie turned quickly to Rainbow Dash and said "Well why don't you go to a doctor? You Silly Filly~" and Dash responded "I don't think a Doctor would be able to figure out what's wrong with his wing." Pinkie Pie rolled her eyes, "Well oki doki loki! I'll see you later then Dashie... and Moooooony~" she said and smiled as she felt proud of how she thought of a new nickname for the new colt that she had recently met. Pinkie Pie merrily hopped away like a bunny and let Rainbow Dash and Moonlit Guardian continue their short trek to Twilights home. It took a few minutes and they finally arrived there, Rainbow Dash knocked on the door and waited patiently for the door to swing open and she counted down "Three... Two... One..." and the door swung open and a Purple Pony stood infront of them. "Oh, Hey Dash!" said Twilight Sparkle as she saw the hovering cyan colored Pegasus and as she turned her head to the side she saw this alicorn colt she had never seen before. Twilight looked at him carefully and Rainbow Dash said "Hey Twi, this is Moonlit Guardian. I brought him here to see if you can check out what's wrong with his right wing." And Twilight responded, "Shouldn't you have brought him to a doctor?" in a serious tone. "I don't think they'd know what's wrong." answered Rainbow Dash as she landed lightly on the ground. Twilight said "This is strange though... how is he and Alicorn if there's only two in existence?" "I don't know about him at all, he just showed up near where I was training which was on an open field. A Mysterious colt he is, you think you can find something on him later when you fix his wing?" responded Rainbow Dash as she stood on the right side of Moonlit Guardian. Twilight inspected the mysterious colts right wing and lifted it up, seeing a large, large burn mark under the joint of the wing to the body. "There's your problem, he must've been in a fire or something." said Twilight, "Just let him get some rest, give him some analgesic put some water on it, clean it of any infection, Wrap the burn lightly with a clean dry gauze, It doesn't look like a major burn, but just keep watch on him for awhile. "Uh... I guess I should go home then?" asked Moonlit Guardian in a shy tone but Rainbow Dash responded, "You're staying with me, I don't know who you are... but you're in no condition to get back home." Twilight was already inside the library sifting through some family archives but couldn't locate anything about 'Moonlit Guardian'. She walked back to where Moonlit Guardian and Rainbow Dash are standing and handed Dash some medical supplies. "I already told you what to do with these supplies so get him some rest and patch up that burn of his." said Twilight Sparkle as she turned around and walked back into the library with the door closing behind her. "Time to head off then, hold onto my hoof and I'll help you fly up to my home" said Rainbow Dash as she held out her hoof. Moonlit Guardian had grab hold of her hoof and they both flew off into the skies. Moonlit Guardian held onto Rainbows hoof very tightly as they flew across the sky towards the home of Rainbow Dash. When they landed he sighed, smiled at her and said, "You have a nice home." Rainbow Dash smiled and opened the door, the home was completely made of cloud so it was very soft like a pillow. She walked to another room and Moonlit Guardian followed her and then Rainbow Dash said, "Here's where you'll be sleeping." and in the room was a bedroom made of cloud, it was as soft as the rest of the house but the bed was even softer than the home. Quickly, she used her speed to put water over his burn and wrap it in the gauze. Moonlit Guardian felt only a slight pain but not much from that and he fell onto the bed. His eyes closed as he felt a shock of memory flood against him and he cried unnoticeably. Rainbow Dash was already out of the room and outside, clearing the skies to finish her job for today. A Few Hours Passed as Moonlit Guardian was asleep in the soft, cloud bed but terrible memories invaded his dreams and he kept on remembering... Rainbow Dash was laying on a cloud just outside of her home and she took a short nap, she too has terrible memories invading her dreams, she has always tried to change and move them but to no avail. ~~~ "Where am I?" said Rainbow Dash as she walked along the trail of dirt inside the deep forest she was in. She looked around and surveyed her surroundings, as she kept on walking she saw blood, a familiar sight in her eyes and she smelt the smell of smoke. She quickly jumped up into the air and flew towards the source of the smell of smoke and saw a burning house... it was her old home when she was younger, the place her parents had died... Rainbow Dash wanted to get inside the house and save her parents from burning to death, but an invisible force stopped her. She could only watch as the building collapsed and her parents died right in front of her... she couldn't do anything to stop it... "No…" "NO…" "NOOOOOOO!" ~~~ Rainbow Dash was rolling about and screaming on her small cloud and almost fell off, but she woke up from her nightmare just in time to start hovering. She was crying terribly hard and she walked back into the home to check up on Moonlit Guardian. When she got into his room he was still asleep, but rolling around a bit like he was having a nightmare. "I guess I'll just stay with him" said Rainbow Dash to herself in a tired tone as she layed on the soft floor of her cloud home and fell asleep once again. The Hours passed as the next day began and Rainbow Dash woke up, "Another Nightmare..." she said to herself as she got up. She looked over at her sleeping friend to see he was still asleep, but he wasn't rolling all over much anymore. She shrugged and walked outside to fly out and get something to eat. Pinkie Pie was walking around and saw Rainbow Dash flying through the skies and so she followed and said, "Hey Rainbow Dash!" "Ugh... I'm too tired for this Pinkie..." Rainbow Dash said to herself as she stopped and hovered down to Pinkie Pie and said, "What is it?" Pinkie Pie smiled and replied, "You seem hungry, why not bring you and your friend to Sugarcube Corner?" and then she took a breath and continued, "I'll bake you both some cupcakes, on the house!" Rainbow Dash rolled her eyes as she said "Fine Pinkie Pie, but there better not be any party there." and then Pinkie Pie tilted her head and said "Why would I do that? You already told me not to!" and she merrily hopped away into Sugarcube Corner. Rainbow Dash flew back into her home and woke up Moonlit Guardian. He woke up hazily and said "H-huh? What is it Rainbow Dash?" and she replied "Pinkie Pie is going to bake us some cupcakes, come on." Rainbow Dash held out her hoof again and Moonlit held onto her hoof, they both started soaring through the sky and landed in front of Sugarcube Corner. Pinkie Pie opened the door and said "Oh hey, you two made it! Come on in, I've already baked you both a bunch of cupcakes!" Moonlit Guardian looked away shyly and Rainbow Dash pulled him into the building. There was a table set up for them and they both sat down at the table, Pinkie Pie walked up and said "Heya there again Dashie and Moony! I made your table especially for you two!" Pinkie Pie gave them some freshly baked cupcakes made perfectly by Ponyvilles favorite Party Pony. Rainbow Dash proceeded in eating her cupcake but Moonlit Guardian was perplexed at what a 'cupcake' was. He sniffed the cupcake and took a small nibble out of it, "Mmm~" he said as he started biting even more of the cupcake. When he finished it he smiled and said "Delicous." and smiled. Pinkie Pie smiled back and said "I very, very glad you like it Moony!" and Rainbow Dash giggled and said "Have you ever eaten a cupcake before?" Moonlit Guardian smiled and responded, "This is the first cupcake I've ever eaten... the first real meal I've eaten in years." Both Rainbow Dash and Pinkie Pie were confused by his sentence and Rainbow Dash asked "in years? How old are you?" and Pinkie Pie said, "Just by looking, I can tell he's about the same age as us" Moonlit Guardian said, "Uhm anyways... can we go back home now Dash? I feel like getting some more rest." and Rainbow Dash replied "Fine, come on." and so Rainbow Dash walked outside with Moonlit Guardian following her. Rainbow Dash held out her hoof again and Moonlit Guardian smiled and held onto her hoof tightly. They both took off into the sky and back to Rainbow Dashes Home, once they landed, Moonlit Guardian went off into the room which was presumably now his and he jumped back onto his bed. Rainbow Dash giggled as she saw him jump onto the bed and she exited the room. She proceeded back onto her regular duties to clear some of the clouds in the skies to make the day clearer. ________ A Terrible Memory can never be forgotten, but always remembered, it can be changed and moved, but will never go away. Remember that no one can forget, but all can forgive, Look out for others, and always love them. The Bright Sun kisses all with happiness, The Dark Moon whispers to you of sorrow and forgiveness. I will never forget, Sadness will never take over... -The Story of Moonlit Guardian Pt.1 (AOER)- At the Other End of the Rainbow Pt.2At the Other End of the Rainbow _____________________ To be alive is great To be dead is not But I am not either For I am neither Because I am you... _____________________ The Day was a young one and Rainbow Dash had just finished clearing the skies of any clouds that were in the air. She was taking one of her ‘naps’ but this nap was giving her a Nightmare. ~~~ Rainbow Dash was walking around Ponyville, it was just like a regular day in Ponyville until she heard a peculiar slicing sound. She Dashed towards where she had heard the sound and saw a Grey Flying Alicorn with Bloody Red Eyes holding a flaming blade. This Alicorn was on a rampage, slaughtering anypony in his path. Then... he looked at Rainbow Dash, his expression looked like sadness, and as he looked Rainbow Dash had seen a flash of what he really looked like behind this Alicorns Bloody Eyes. She saw him... She saw Moonlit Guardian... ~~~ “WAAH!” Rainbow Dash exclaimed as she woke up in terror, she looked around cautiously to survey where she was again. She was still on the cloud she was napping on and a single tear dropped off of her eye. “No... my dream was just a nightmare... It can’t be real!” Rainbow Dash said to herself as she spread out her wings and flew off into her home. She walked into the room Moonlit was sleeping in and saw that he was still asleep, she sighed in relief and sat down to recollect her thoughts about her ‘Nightmare’. Suddenly, her ears perked up as she heard Moonlit Guardian waking up, he was hazily getting up from his sleep and he looked at Rainbow Dash to see she was crying lightly. “Ugh...” he whined silently as he rubbed his head and then he asked, “Dash, you okay?” and by that moment Rainbow Dash replied, “Y-yeah! I’m okay.” as she wiped the tears off her face. Rainbow looked outside and saw it was the beginning of night and looked at Moonlit Guardian to say, “I need to talk to you.” Moonlit Guardian nodded as he sat on the cloud bed and focused on Rainbow Dash. Rainbow Dash had explained her ‘nightmare’ to him and in the end he said, “I would never do anything like that... not unless something terrible happened... something that enraged me...” He weakly got up and walked outside and as he exited, Rainbow Dash asked “Where are you going?” and so he replied “I’m just going to sit outside for some air.” and that’s what he did. Rainbow Dash yawned and she walked into her room sleepily, she lay in her bed and she fell asleep quite quickly. Moonlit Guardian was sitting outside, he had experienced a nightmare about Rainbow Dash, and how she had died because of his ignorance... A tear dropped off of his eye as he got back up and walked back into the home of Rainbow Dash to get into his room and fall asleep, but as he lay in his bed he looked to the side to see a mysterious silhouette of a dark Pegasus. He wasn’t too tired to realize this but he fell asleep before he could do anything, then the Pegasus that was inside of the home had vanished into thin air. _____________ The Night passed by quickly as they both were asleep and then finally the sun had risen and Rainbow Dash was already wide awake. Moonlit Guardian however, was still asleep and as Rainbow Dash walked into the room to try and wake him up she saw that the bandages on Moonlit Guardians right wing had disappeared. She didn’t know how they were gone but she saw that his wing was already healed up nice and proper. She poked his right wing lightly. “Uh... Ugh... R-Rainbow Dash? ” Moonlit Guardian asked as he rubbed his eyes to see Rainbow Dash. “Oh, you’re awake!” Rainbow Dash said as she pulled him out of bed and she said “Look! Your wing is all healed already! I don’t know how though but let’s see if you can fly.” Moonlit Guardian asked, “Can’t we do this later? I’m still kind of half-asleep here.” But Rainbow Dash just kept on tugging him outside. Once they were both outside, Rainbow Dash asked, “Okay, try flying now.” and so Moonlit Guardian spread out his wings which created a small shine that caught the attention of Rainbow Dash. He then flapped both his wings in unison and took off into the air, he smiled and then he flew around Rainbow Dashes home in a quick minute. Rainbow Dash’s mouth gaped open lightly at this as she saw his wings change from a dark grey to a lighter shade of grey with a small shine. “Wow...” she said, “The was Awesome!!” she cheered. Moonlit Guardian landed beside Rainbow Dash and gave her a big hug, she blushed of course, but she also hugged him back. “I still wonder how your wing healed so quickly” she asked and he replied “I don’t know, but if it’s healed, then it’s healed!” and he quickly took off into the sky again and started flying around for fun. Rainbow Dash smiled and she spread out her wings, took off and they both playing a small game of tag before landing in Ponyville, outside of Twilight’s library. Just as they had landed, Twilight Sparkle had opened the door and was about to go someplace else. “Hey Twi!” said Rainbow Dash in a happy voice and Twilight Sparkle replied, “Hey D-“ but Rainbow Dash interrupted her and continued to say, “Moonlits right wing is already all healed up! Isn’t that awesome?” Twilight Sparkle saw Moonlit Guardian standing beside Rainbow Dash, minding his own business and she looked at his right wing to see that is was actually fully healed. “But... how can this be? His wing shouldn’t heal that quickly.” said Twilight Sparkle as she started inspecting the wing. “I don’t know how it healed either.” said Moonlit Guardian as he watched as Twilight Sparkle was inspecting his right wing. Rainbow Dash pushed Twilight Sparkle a bit away from Moonlit Guardian as she said “Hey, his wing is healed. Okay?” and Twilight Sparkle answered, “Okay, Anyways I better be going to see Fluttershy... I promised I’d watch over her cottage while she goes somewhere.” “Well Okay... Come on Moonlit, let’s go see Pinkie.” said Rainbow Dash as she took off into the air toward Sugarcube Corner. Moonlit Guardian followed along after saying a small goodbye to Twilight Sparkle. Suddenly, as Rainbow Dash was flying toward Sugarcube Corner, she looked down and saw Ponyville on fire! Rainbow Dash stopped in the air and said to herself, “W-what the heck...” and then when she blinked, Ponyville was back to its normal state again. Rainbow Dash rubbed her eyes and looked around, as she was looking around Moonlit Guardian caught up and pounced Rainbow Dash in the air, but he kept on hovering so they both wouldn’t fall from the sky. “Gotcha! Come on Dash, why you waiting here?” asked Moonlit Guardian as he let go of Rainbow Dash and she replied, “Oh sorry Moonlit, I kinda blanked out there. Let’s go.” Rainbow Dash then bolted off again but Moonlit Guardian quickly followed, while flying through the sky their speeds matched and almost at the same time, they landed infront of Sugarcube Corner. “Phew, what a rush!” sighed Moonlit Guardian as he stretched a bit, then Rainbow Dash replied, “Yeah!” and she giggled. Moonlit Guardian hasn’t flown in a while so for him, it was a real adrenaline rush. Both of them walking into Sugarcube Corner after a small breather, and saw the lights were turned off... Both Rainbow Dash and Moonlit Guardian kept on walking, and then they heard a voice about to shout... “SURPRISE!!” and the lights quickly turned on, revealing Pinkie Pie and many other ponies. Also there was Twilight Sparkle, who said she was going to do a favor for Fluttershy. But there Fluttershy, Applejack, Rarity were also there attending this party. “W-woah! What’s this?” asked Moonlit Guardian in a shocked manner as he looked around the room. Pinkie Pie hopped beside him and answered, “It’s a party! For you, Moony!” Rainbow Dash giggled as she didn’t expect this and her friends had kept this a secret from her and Moonlit Guardian. Moonlit Guardian stuck by Rainbow Dash in a semi-shy manner but he talked to a bunch of the ponies who’re there. Fluttershy then approached Moonlit Guardian and said in a small voice, “Uh... Hi Moonlit...” and Applejack and Rarity both walked up to him. Applejack then said, “Howdy there Moonlit! Nice tah’ meet ya.” and when she finished, Rarity continued, “Oh yes, Hello there Moonlit, It’s nice to meet you.” Pinkie Pie asked, “So how you liking the party, Moony?” and Moonlit Guardian answered, “It’s amazing!” and Moonlit Guardian, along with the mane six all giggled. Later on in the party, Moonlit Guardian was leaning against Rainbow Dash, he was drunk, or in truth, really drunk. He had drunk a lot of punch... but this punch he was drinking had a bit too much sugar. Sugar for Moonlit Guardian, made him drunk rather than giving him a Sugar Rush, and so, while he drunk, his logic was lost and he opened himself up rather easily. “H-heeeey Rainbow Daaash~” Moonlit Guardian said in a sluggish accent and voice, “Y-you look soooo...” he hiccupped and continued, “soooo cute!” Rainbow Dash blushed when he said this, and she took the moment and quickly kissed Moonlit Guardian. She was feeling such a beautiful sensation while kissing Moonlit Guardian. He blinked and began to kiss her back, nopony noticed them kissing at all and then after a minute or so they stopped kissing and then Moonlit Guardian passed out onto the floor. Moonlits wings were plopped up like a lit light, and his face was all red. Rainbow Dash lightly laughed and picked him up onto her back. She then walked up to Pinkie Pie and said, “Hey, Moonlit passed out so I’m taking him home, See you later Pinkie and thanks for the awesome party.” Pinkie Pie replied, “Oki Doki Loki~ See you two later!” and she went back to focusing on the party. Pinkie Pie already knew what how Moonlit Guardian had passed out but she kept it secret and giggled. Rainbow Dash sighed and looked at Moonlit Guardian, but when she did... she saw his hair and mane on fire, they were burning uncontrollably but they kept the look of Moonlit Guardians regular hair and mane style. She rubbed her eyes and Moonlit Guardians hair and mane were back to its normal look rather than being engulfed in flames. Rainbow Dash did not know what just happened but she just shrugged it off and carried Moonlit Guardian back home. She felt really happy after that kiss, but it wouldn’t have lasted because she knew the Moonlit Guardian wouldn’t remember it at all. Rainbow Dash sighed lightly and said to herself, “I wish I could tell him... I wish I could express my emotions for him.” and she silently cried lightly without waking Moonlit Guardian up. They had reached home and Rainbow Dash laid Moonlit Guardian onto the bed that was his, she looked around to make sure nopony was around and she lightly kissed him on the forehead. Rainbow Dash then whispered to him silently, “Good night...” and as she left the room she turned her head and continued to say, “...my Guardian.” and then she went to her room and lay in her bed for a good fifteen or so minutes before falling asleep. =============================================================== Twilight Sparkle was in her library and thinking to herself about how Moonlit Guardians wound healed so quickly. Spike walked into the room with two books and gave it to Twilight Sparkle, saying “Here ya go, Twilight. A book about Alicorns, and a book about Mysterious events.” “Thanks, Spike.” said Twilight as she magically levitated both books and levitated the book about Mysterious events in front of her to read. “Huh... what’s this?” she said as she turned to a page about a dead family. It showed a burned down home, there were no suspects and no witnesses, the only known deaths are two parents, Skyline Link and Josephine Guardian. There were pictures showing two missing alicorn brothers: ‘Daylight Torrent’ who was the oldest brother and... “Moonlit Guardian” Twilight Sparkle said as she kept on reading. Then the book said that the eldest brother had been found in Canterlot, and is now living by himself in Canterlot and is part of the ‘Royal Guards of Canterlot’. Twilight Sparkle kept on reading and read out loud, “The youngest, Moonlit Guardian, was never found and was proclaimed deceased ten years ago...” and then she put that book down and went to reading about Alicorns. Twilight Sparkle already knew about how the Princesses are both alicorns, but she never knew there were more of them. She saw another print talking about a ‘special’ two foals that were born with both a Unicorns horn and Pegasus wings. Twilight Sparkle then kept on to reading on with the book as it said that only one of the two foals had survived... “No...” Twilight Sparkle said to herself as she rubbed her eyes and continued, “...This can’t be right.” Twilight Sparkle then said, “I got to talk to Princess Celestia.” and then she turned to Spike and said, “Spike, take a letter.” =============================================================== Rainbow Dash was walking in a forest, a damp, rainy forest. She kept on walking, not knowing where she was going and then, in an instant, a flash of light blinded her for a quick second and she saw a burning house. This wasn’t any house she had ever seen before, she turned her head slightly to the left to see two ponies running from the burning house, she had saw that they were young so she followed them. “Hey- Hey come back here!” Rainbow Dash shouted as she quickly hovered and then dashed through the air. But somehow, they were faster than her at flying and she couldn’t keep up any longer. Rainbow Dash stopped flying and landed lightly on the grassy ground, she took a few breaths and turned and she saw she had never really moved at all and that she was still by the burning building. She flew into the air and caught a raincloud, she then tried to put the fire out as quick as she could... It didn’t work. Rainbow Dash said to herself, “How...” and shook her head, she looked down at the burning building and then she began to hear a voice. “it was your fault...” said the voice lightly “What?” asked Rainbow Dash “It was your fault!” said the voice in a louder tone “Wait, what was my fault!” Rainbow Dash said as she turned and saw herself when she was younger, staring at the burning building from the sky. “It WaS aLL YoUr FauLt” shouted the voice angrily. “W-What?! No!” Rainbow Dash shouted back. A Black Pegasus with corroded and bleeding eyes broke through a cloud Rainbow Dash was looking at and shouted, “IT WAS ALL YOUR FAULT!” ~~~ Rainbow Dash screamed and then woke up suddenly. “W-where am I? Was it j-just a Nightmare?” she asked herself, Rainbow Dash got up from her bed and went into Moonlit Guardians Room, she said to herself “I can’t sleep alone tonight...” She laid herself beside the sleeping Moonlit Guardian and hugged him, he was warm and he smiled while Rainbow Dash was hugging him. Rainbow Dash smiled as well, she then fell asleep to the warmth of her friend that she was hugging and snuggling with. Moonlit Guardian had hugged her back, and Rainbow Dashes face was red even though she was asleep, she didn’t have any nightmare tonight. And Evil... _____________________ Twilight Sparkle was looking around the library hastily for the book about Alicorns. “Where is it?!” she growled at herself as she looked around and finally realized it was still on the desk. “Oh yeah...” said Twilight Sparkle as she walked up to her desk and picked up the book. She stood beside Moonlit Guardian and levitated the book in front of them both and she began to turn to her bookmarked paged about ‘Daylight Torrent’. “My brother...” said Moonlit Guardian as he scanned across the page, “Brother...” growled Moonlit Guardian as his eyes began turn to a fiery red color. Twilight Sparkle turned her head and saw this change in Moonlit Guardians eye color and she immediately started to walk backwards towards the wall. Moonlit Guardian was lost in his own mind now, rage began to fill his body as a circle a flames began to form around him... ~=~=~=~=~=~= “Where are we going” said a young grey colt as he was following his older, golden colored brother through Everfree Forest. “I don’t know” replied the older brother as he kept running in a straight line. They came to a stop in the middle of a cleared space in the forest, there was a little pond and there they rested a bit. After a few minutes, the older brother said “Stay here, I’ll fly into the sky and scout the area.” and so the older brother flew up into the sky and through a dark, foggy cloud. The younger brother waited patiently for his older brother to come back down, but he did not ever fly back to him. The younger brother stayed patiently anyways, waiting for his brother to return, there he waiting for years, with no food to eat, no shelter, with nothing. =~=~=~=~=~=~ Moonlit Guardian had passed out onto the floor, scorch marks on the wooden floor can be easily seen around him in a perfect circle. “Woah...” said Twilight Sparkle as she looked at Moonlit Guardian. She poked his side to see if he was still alive and he quickly twitched and flipped over. Twilight Sparkle lightly giggled at this situation and so she picked him up and laid him in her bed. “Spike, we have a guest sleeping here tonight, it seems he passed out.” Twilight Sparkle shouted loudly to Spike who was in another room. “Yeah, Yeah.” yelled Spike who replied in an annoyed tone. Twilight Sparkle went to quickly assemble a small bed on the opposite side of where her original bed was and once she finished she lay and fell asleep on the newly assembled bed. The Next Day, Twilight Sparkle woke up first, her hair was a mess like she had a terrible dream. She looked around hazily and then went wide-eyed, she was asleep next to Moonlit Guardian! She blushed lightly when she figured out she had walked in her sleep to fall asleep beside him, she quickly got up and went to fix her hair. Moonlit Guardian was snoozing lightly and a smile was lit up on his face, Twilight Sparkle never saw this since she was busy waddling in her own emotion. Twilight Sparkle walked out the door, but as she did she looked back for a quick second and then she continued to go on with her regular day. Spike was asleep aswell, so she knew she didn’t have to worry about him. Later on in the day, Twilight Sparkle returned home and as she did she went to check on Moonlit Guardian, she went to check on him... “H-huh!” she exclaimed as she saw that her bed which Moonlit Guardian was asleep on, was empty! Twilight Sparkle panicked and looked everywhere around the library, as she searched she couldn’t find him anywhere. She ran outside, throwing open the door as she ran and she then proceeded to run all around Ponyville, looking for him. “Moonlit!” Twilight Sparkle shouted as she ran around Ponyville, she then walked into Sugarcube Corner and Pinkie Pie immediately hopped infront of her, like she was waiting for Twilight Sparkle to walk inside. “Pinkie, have you seen Moonlit anywhere?” asked the panicking Twilight Sparkle, Pinkie Pie smiled and said “Yeah, Moony’s just over there.” and as she said that, she pointed toward the direction of a table where Moonlit Guardian was passed out. “I made him a bunch of cupcakes! It seems like he really enjoyed them~” said Pinkie Pie as she hopped away, humming a small song. Twilight breathed a sigh of relief and walked up to Moonlit Guardian. She saw that he was passed out and that his face was all covered with frosting and sprinkles from the cupcakes. Twilight lightly giggled at seeing him like this and so she picked him up on her back. She waved goodbye to Pinkie Pie, who was watching the register and then she exited Sugarcube Corner and walked back home, still relieved that she had found Moonlit Guardian. As they arrived back to Twilights home, she layed Moonlit Guardian back in the bed and magically levitated a wet towel to lightly wipe his face clean of all the cupcake frosting and sprinkles. Moonlit Guardian sneezed a bit and flipped over, his face was nice and clean now and so Twilight Sparkle put away the towel and went down the stairs to pick out a few books to read. She wanted to do more studying on why Moonlit Guardian was enraged at his brother, and she wanted to know what had truly happened that fateful night many years ago. She found a few books and begin to read... =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- Rainbow Dash was laying in a small cloud, taking one of her ‘usual’ naps. She suddenly woke up because of a Nightmare and fell off of the cloud! She almost began to panic but she kept a level-head and unraveled her wings to let herself glide. She then hovered in the air and wiped her forehead of any sweat that she was sweating because of that event. “Phew...” said Rainbow Dash, “Close call.” Rainbow Dash then flew towards the Farm where Applejack and her family presided, Rainbow Dash remembered that she had to help out Applejack with the new barn that was still being built on the spot where she had destroyed that old barn. Applejack saw Rainbow Dash flying and waved to her, saying “Howdy, Dash... ya’ll made it!” and then Rainbow Dash landed infront of her and said “Heh Yeah... so, what’re we working on today?” Applejack turned toward the barn and pointed toward the roof, saying “You need to build up as much of the roof as ya’ll can.” Rainbow Dash nodded and took a few tools and supplies and flew up to the scaffolding on the side of the roof. She put down all the tools and supplies and only kept the ones she needed to build the first layer of the roof. She then put those tools and supplies to the side and then picked up a corner of the large tarp that was put over the barn to cover the inside from rain. She flew across and removed the tarp and then let it fall to the side which revealed the wooden supports of the roof. Rainbow Dash went back to get her tools and she took some small wood paneling, she then proceeded to put them all across the roof area really quickly, nailing each of them together as she put them down onto the roof. A few minutes later she finished, Rainbow Dash sighed and looked at the plans, she seems to have put everything in place, she then took some brushes and some paint and began to paint the roof. Rainbow Dash took about an hour to finish painting the whole roof and covering up any dangerous spots... then she began to feel sleepy. She quickly put down whatever she was carrying and flew down to Applejack and as she landed she said in a dizzy tone, “Applejack, I-I’ve got a b-bit of a headache... I’ll see you later.” and Applejack nodded lightly and returned back to her work. Rainbow Dash flew through the air like she was drunk, she swerved in her movement and her speech was slurry, she flew terribly high in the air which made it even worse. She then passed out in mid-flight! She was free-falling unconsciously from the air, tears slowly began to stream out of her eyes... She was only a few feet from the ground until a grey streak quickly flew across the ground and grabbed her! Rainbow Dash opened her eyes and saw it was Moonlit Guardian, her face was red as she was being held in the Alicorn Colts hooves. Rainbow Dash fell unconscious again... -~-~-~-~-~ The Darkness was everywhere... she couldn’t hide anymore from her past. Rainbow Dash looked at the knife that was right across from her, she felt so much grief and sadness because of what had happened in the past. “I’m sorry...” said Rainbow Dash as she reached for the knife, but before she could grab it a mysterious hoof pulled away the knife. Rainbow Dash sighed as she cried herself to sleep, she wondered who it was... or was he... or she, was doing there, and why ‘they’ helped her. Her eyes were red before she closed them to fall asleep, she had been having nightmares for awhile so she couldn’t sleep. As she fell asleep, the same mysterious pony hugged her, it was a warm feeling and she easily fell asleep and this time... she didn’t have a nightmare. ~-~-~-~-~- A whole day passed as Rainbow Dash was asleep, as she woke up she remembered what had happened. Now she knew her feelings clearly now, she was in love with Moonlit Guardian. Rainbow Dash saw a note laying on top of her and she picked it up, she then read the note and it said: Dear Rainbow Dash, I’ll be over at Twilight’s place for awhile, she said she had something that could help out my wing because she said it was still a bit damaged from the inside. Love, Moonlit Guardian Rainbow Dash needed to tell Moonlit Guardian about her feelings, she quickly got up from her bed and flew right out the door towards Twilight’s place. Her objective was so great to her that she flew at tremendously high speeds and right through Twilights door. As she went through she walked into the bedroom and up the stairs, her face turned from a face of seriousness to a surprised face... tears streamed down her eyes as she saw that Moonlit Guardian and Twilight Sparkle were in bed together... “No...” said Rainbow Dash, she quickly turned around and ran out, leaving a trail of tears across the floor. Moonlit Guardian immediately woke up from hearing the sound of somepony running and looked to see a multi-colored tail exit out the bedroom door. “Oh no...” Moonlit Guardian whispered to himself, he got up without waking up Twilight Sparkle. He ran to chase Rainbow Dash but Rainbow Dash was flying at her top speed which was impossible to match. Moonlit Guardians efforts to follow her lead towards Rainbow Dashes cloud house in the sky. Moonlit Guardian knocked on the closed door... No answer... He knocked even harder on the door... Still no answer... Moonlit Guardian then tried opening the door, but the door was locked... He then flew backwards and then full speed forwards and rammed into the door, but the door still stayed shut. He could hear Rainbow Dash crying, he needed to get to her. He didn’t want to use it, but he casted a spell to make his wings into sharp metal, he then broke the door down and the spell wore off. “Rainbow Dash?” he lightly asked as he slowly walked in, he still heard crying but he couldn’t pin-point the exact room she was in. “Get out!” shouted Rainbow Dash, she was really angry and she really wanted to be alone. Moonlit Guardian looked through the rooms one-by-one and couldn’t find her in any of them, but there was one room left and it was the bedroom... He slowly peeped his head in to see Rainbow Dash, shivering and crying in a corner... a knife by her side with blood on it... He asked “Rainbow Dash... can I ta-“ but he was interrupted, “Get out! Now!” shouted Rainbow Dash. “Please Rainbow Dash... let me explain...” asked Moonlit Guardian as he got closer and saw that she had cut her left hind leg a bit. Rainbow Dash wasn’t in the mood to talk and so she kept on crying, she couldn’t take the pressure of life anymore and she wanted to die. Moonlit Guardian then said “You see... Twilight was just using some magic on my wings until I fell asleep, I didn’t know she went to sleep beside me...” Rainbow Dash listened but she still kept on crying, she reached for the knife which was across from her, but then Moonlit Guardian stomped his hoof onto it, ignoring the cut it caused he kicked it away. Rainbow Dashes eye sparkled a bit, a flashback occurred to her and she finally realized. “It was you...” said Rainbow Dash in a shocked manner. “You’re the one who stopped me from hurting myself...” Moonlit Guardian didn’t understand what she was talking about but he went with it and just nodded. Rainbow Dash wiped away the tears from her eyes, and sat upward... a bit embarrassed. Moonlit Guardian got close enough to hug Rainbow Dash and he was so relieved that she hadn’t killed herself. “I... I love you Moony...” said Rainbow Dash as she fell unconscious from her cut that she had made on her left hind leg. Moonlit Guardian smiled and laid her on the bed and said silently, “I love you too...” and then he kissed her forehead lightly and quickly bandaged up her hind leg. His eyes were a light blue from this time and so he smiled and also remembered to bandage up his cut hoof. Moonlit Guardian lay on the spot beside Rainbow Dash and smiled and then he hugged her and fell asleep himself... It was like the day had passed by because of this event. None of them had nightmares, Both of them had dreams. _______________________________ Knowledge seems like power, But it never was. It was only mind, It was only imagination. "Dear Princess Celestia, I learned that we are all connected in some special way, even if one does not know them, They will become friends later in their life." _______________________ Moonlit Guardians nose slightly pressed against Rainbow Dashes as they slept together, their dreams were intertwined with one another. Rainbow Dashes lips were so close to Moonlit Guardians but as she slept she quickly flipped over and faced away from him. He was still hugging her although. ~~ Rainbow Dash flew through the sky along with Moonlit Guardian, their dance in the sky was beautiful as they looped each other, dove beside each other, and through their flight, every time they came into contact with each other they held one another’s hooves and circled around. As they circled their eyes met and then they let go and flew around the sky in their beautiful dance again. After a few minutes they both flew at each other and when they were close enough the wrapped their forelegs around each other in a deep embrace, then they held each-others hooves and then Moonlit Guardian stared at Rainbow Dash and she did the same. Rainbow Dashes eyes sparkled as they stare at each other, Rainbow Dash leaned in to kiss him and he leaned in as well, their lips met and suddenly... ~~~ "Mmm~...hm?" Rainbow Dash lightly moaned as she slowly opened her eyes and saw that she was directly kissing the sleeping Moonlit Guardian. She went wide-eyed immediately and broke their kiss, she then sat up and looked at Moonlit Guardian whom was still asleep. Rainbow Dash sighed as she placed a hoof on her cheek and she felt that she was warm. From that she knew she was blushing terribly hard. She was partially suprised since she never blushed like ‘this’ many times before. She looked at Moonlit Guardian and gave him a small kiss on the cheek and said, "I love you, you know..." She then layed back on the soft, cloud bed and fell asleep. Moonlit Guardian wrapped his forelegs around her nuzzled her mane while he was still sleeping which made Rainbow Dashs face even more red. Rainbow Dashs dreams once again intertwined with Moonlit Guardians... ~~~ Rainbow Dash walked through the green, grassy field and saw Moonlit Guardian, who was laying in the field like he was asleep. She got closer and felt something strange on her hooves as she walked closer... She slowly raised her hoof and saw the substance was colored red and felt thick, her mouth flew open as she gasped and looked toward Moonlit Guardian who was laying on the field, bleeding… "No! Moonlit!" she shouted as she quickly leaped off the ground and flew as fast as she could to the dying colt. She got to him just in time and carefully flipped him over slowly and then she put a hoof on his chest. She felt no pulse and tears began to fall off of her face and onto the floor. Blood kept slowly seeping out of him, Rainbow Dash wrapped her hooves around him and sobbed deeply. "Please... don't die..." Rainbow Dash said lightly and pressing the side of her head against his chest. A small glimmer came from the tip of Moonlit Guardians horn, he slowly but weakly wrapped his forelegs around Rainbow Dash in a hug and weakly said, "I'll never die, if it means hurting you..." Moonlit Guardian slowly opened his eyes, looked at Rainbow Dash and smiled, he then said weakly, "I love you too..." After he uttered those words the whole dreamscape flashed a bright white, once the flash of white disappeared the grass was green again with no signs of blood on the grassy field. But one thing was missing... Moonlit Guardian had disappeared from Rainbow Dashs embrace and she was just hugging nothing but air now. She almost fell but quickly put her legs down and looked up at the sky... She smiled and cried tears of joy... ~~~ Rainbow Dash lazily opened her eyes to see that Moonlit Guardian was already out of bed, she never kept much food at home because she usually just gets something from Pinkie Pie or Applejack. “That reminds me…” Rainbow Dash said to herself, she had to go move some clouds away from Ponyville today. Rainbow Dash got out of bed and yawned, she then did a few stretches and got some spare Apples she kept in a basket inside of her so called ‘kitchen’ and ate half of them. Finally Rainbow Dash took one final long yawn and walked out the door, she looked up at the sky and sighed, wondering where Moonlit Guardian has gone. She finally jumped off of the cloudy platform her home stood on and then unraveled her wings, once her wings were spread out she then gained control of her flight and flew towards the wild clouds hovering over part of Ponyville. ______ Moonlit Guardian was taking an eager stroll across Ponyville, he already went to Sugarcube Corner to eat a large cake that Pinkie Pie promised. His mouth still watered from that cake even though he shared half of it to Pinkie Pie. He was going to bring Rainbow Dash, but she was still asleep when he woke up and he didn’t want to disturb her very… ‘wet’ dream. Moonlit Guardian was lost in his train of thought until he walked right into Applejack. He stepped back a bit and looked at her and she was pointing a very serious face at him. “Oh… uh… s-sorry!” apologized Moonlit Guardian and Applejack grinned lightly and said, “Moonlit Guardian was it? Rainbow Dash has been talkin’ lot bout’ you.” Applejack walked around Moonlit Guardian and inspected him, Moonlit Guardian just watched as she was inspecting him and once she finished she said “You’re very built, and you look like a hard-worker too!” She then stood infront of him again, “You mind helpin’ out around the farm today, Moonlit?” asked Applejack. Moonlit Guardian nodded in delight with a grin on his face, he hasn’t really had something to do for the past few days so this’d be good exercise and also a small learning experience! Applejack turned around and walked along the path towards the Apple Orchard and stood by a tree, she saw that Moonlit Guardian didn’t follow her and then motioned with her right foreleg telling him to come over to where she is. Moonlit Guardian nodded and then ran towards where Applejack was standing and stopped right in front of her, Applejack could do nothing but lightly giggle and she then said, “All ya gotta do is buck as many trees as ya can, make sure all the apples get into one of these baskets…” Applejack pointed towards a pile of baskets laying on side. Applejack picked up a basket and put it by the tree full of Apples, she then faced away from the tree and with as much strength as she had she lifted up both her hind-legs and with full force she kicked the trunk of the tree! The apples fell out of the apple tree and right into the basket, none of the apples were left on that tree. Applejack turned toward Moonlit Guardian and asked in a stern voice, “Got it?” Moonlit Guardian nodded and smiled, picked up a basket and placed it by an apple tree that was full of apples. He turned away from the tree and lifted up both of his hind-legs in unison and with his full strength he kicked the trunk of the tree. The tree shook a bit as well a small shockwave formed around the tree and hit four other trees that were in close proximity and they all dropped their load of apples onto the ground except for the tree Moonlit Guardian had just bucked, which it’s apples fell neatly into the basket. Applejack chuckled and said, “Woah’ there Moonlit, ya’ll don’t need tah’ put so much force on that buck!” and Applejack then said, “Maybe you can use a bit of magic to clean up the rest of these apples all over the ground.” Moonlit Guardian smiled and his horn begun to glow as he magically levitated three baskets near him, and then he took a breath and then levitated all the apples that were laying on the ground into the baskets very neatly. “*Huff* There we go…” lightly panted Moonlit Guardian, Applejack laughed and said, “I think you’re done workin’ fer’ today, Moonlit.” Moonlit Guardian nodded and said, “See you later, Applejack” and he immediately took off into the sky. He then went to look for Rainbow Dash since he hasn’t seen her in awhile, it seems like time passed by so quickly. Rainbow Dash was napping on top of a soft cloud that was hovering right above Fluttershys cottage. Moonlit Guardian searched around Ponyville in a quick twenty seconds, his speed sometimes blowing some other the other ponies hair and manes. Moonlit finally ended up speeding towards Fluttershys cottage and he saw a little hovering cloud on top of it with a little Rainbow tail hanging off. “There she is!” Moonlit Guardian said to himself as he tilted up and then ran right into Rainbow Dash on the cloud and they both rolled across the cloud. Once their rolling stopped Rainbow Dash was wide awake and surprised as she lay on top of Moonlit Guardian and Moonlit Guardian was laying back on the cloud staring at Rainbow Dash whom was on top of him, with a blush on his face. “Oh uh… Hey D-“ Moonlit Guardian was about to finish but Rainbow Dash interrupted him with a kiss on the lips. Moonlit Guardian went wide-eyed and then slowly closed his eyes and then slowly slipped his tongue into Rainbow Dashes mouth while they kissed, and moved his tongue around. Rainbow Dashes cheeks turned a lighter tint of red and she slipped her tongue into Moonlit Guardians mouth aswell, their tongues playing with each other and circling around in their mouths. _____ Fluttershy was walking around Ponyville, she hung out with Twilight Sparkle and Rarity for most of the day and it was getting ‘pretty dark’ in her standards. She was walking home and while walking she was scanning her vicinity so she wouldn’t get surprised. Fluttershy caught sight of her cottage and it was almost night time by now, it didn’t worry her that it was almost night although since she was almost home. She then caught sight of a mysterious cloud and her ears perked up to some tiny noises. “I-Is an-anyone th-there?” Fluttershy asked in a shy, tiny voice. Nopony answered so she slowly took off into the air and slowly flew off up to the cloud and when she got there she saw… “eeep…” Fluttershy grew a blush on her face as she saw her friend and this colt sleeping together on a cloud that has a certain ‘fluid’ lightly spattered under Rainbow Dashes thighs… Fluttershy quickly flew back down and hid in her house as she was scarred by this sight and couldn’t fall asleep for the rest of the night... _____________ Knowledge seems like power, But it never was. She took the letter, opened and levitated it infront of her and it said: -~-~ Dear Princess Celestia, I have met this new pony named Moonlit Guardian, and to my surprise he's an Alicorn like you and Princess Luna! It was very strange so I did some studying up on him and couldn't find much of anything. All I could find out was a very old Pony tale of these things called 'Shadows' and also learned that Moonlit Guardians brother is residing in Canterlot. I'd be obliged to ask for your assistance in finding Moonlit Guardians brother, 'Daylight Torrent' and also if you have any information of the 'Shadows' my books did talk about. Your Faithful Student, Twilight Sparkle ~-~- Princess Celestia put down the letter and levitated infront of herself an empty letter, a quill, and some ink in a small pot. She dipped the tip of the quill inside of the ink pot and then began to write on the letter: To my Dearest most Faithful Student Twilight Sparkle, I will agree to find your friends brother and I will send you another letter regarding anything I find out about the 'Shadows' on terms that I meet your friend a some point later. I insist that you continue to find out anything about him and I hope that I can finally see somepony I haven't seen in awhile. I do know Moonlit Guardian well, but I will withhold this information to when we all get together, in the next letter I shall give you the time and place where all of us will meet, and remember to bring all of your wonderful friends. It shows itself through emotion, It makes our true selves known... _________________ The Day passed by quickly as Fluttershy hid in her cottage, what she saw slightly scarred her. She didn’t get much rest that night but she still was able to get a bit. The Day loomed on as Celestias Sun rose from the Edge of the Sky into sight and Lunas Moon descended out of sight. Fluttershy recuperated herself and got up, brushed her mane and hair and shyly but slowly walked towards the door, each step to her felt slightly heavy to her but was silent to others. Once she got to the door she slowly opened it to see a familiar white unicorn infront of her. “O-oh Hi Rarity…” Fluttershy said in a timid, shy voice as Rarity replied, “Hello Fluttershy, Darling you look like a wreck! Has something happened?” Fluttershy timidly responded in a shaky voice, “U-uh… nooo…” and she walked outside and closed the door and looked up to see no cloud in the sky today. Rarity turned and said “Well okay Dear, we SHOULD be getting to our appointment now.” and Rarity began to trot towards the Spa with Fluttershy slowly but closely following. Rainbow Dash flew at incredible speeds, whipping across curves and turns through Ponyville, looking for Twilight Sparkle. Rainbow Dash was persistent on finding the purple unicorn pony since she couldn’t find her at the Library where she resided in. To no avail could she find Twilight Sparkle so she sped back to her home in the sky, sweat flying off her face as she flew. She crashed right through her homes doors and they immediately bounced back and closed after she quickly got through. Rainbow Dash panted lightly, tired from searching for Twilight Sparkle all over Ponyville and she walked into her room and fell right onto her bed. Moonlit Guardian timidly walked in and asked, “Uh… Dash? You okay?...” and she sat up and said “Nothings okay! I can’t find Twi anywhere!” Rainbow Dash fell back onto her bed and continued “I need to talk to her about something…” and Moonlit Guardian walked up to Rainbow Dash and asked “If I may ask, what is this something?” Rainbow Dash turned her head away from the side Moonlit Guardian stood and answered, “It’s private.” Moonlit Guardian sighed and walked out of Rainbow Dashes room and back into his room. His face looked like depressed and whats mysterious to Rainbow Dash is that when she took a small look at him she saw his eyes changed from green to blue. Rainbow Dash sighed and fell asleep, her mind was placed elsewhere trying to ignore the fact about how she’s keeping something secret from Moonlit Guardian. Moonlit Guardian sat on his bed, wondering what Rainbow Dash was keeping from him, his eyes changed from blue to green and he got up and flew down to Sugarcube Corner. His flight was slow but swift as he flew from Rainbow Dashes home to Sugarcube Corner in a minute. He opened the door and walked in, seeing Pinkie Pie at the cashier handling a few customers. Moonlit Guardian saw this and knew he had to wait his turn so he walked up and waited in the back of the line, Luckily for him there was only two other ponies in the line with him. Those two ponies bought cupcakes as well as one buying a large cake and slowly carrying it out of the small shop and it was finally Moonlit Guardians turn. “Ooooh Moony~” Pinkie Pie joyfully said as she hopped and then walked past the counter to get to Moonlit Guardian as he said “Yeah, Hey Pinkie...” Pinkie Pie was so joyful today as her mood was so bright like a cherry, she looked at Moonlit Guardian and said “I knew you were coming today, so I made you some ‘special’ cupcakes~” Pinkie Pie pointed towards some cupcakes on a table with a folded nametag saying ‘Reserved’ on it. Moonlit Guardian slightly chuckled and said “Well, thanks!” Moonlit Guardian walked up to the table and took one of the cupcakes, he then proceeded to immediately chomp one down and saying “Simply Delicious!” Pinkie Pie walked up to Moonlit Guardian, her face changing from happy to a more serious face and saying “Now… goto sl-…” Moonlit Guardian fell over, the cupcake that was laced with a bit of powerful anesthetic taking its toll as he couldn’t hear Pinkie Pie finish her sentence. ……………………………….. Moonlit Guardian woke up, a bit drowsily as he was stuck in a dark room, he tried to move but he seemed to be held down by restraints on his forelegs and hind-legs. He felt a lick on his lips but couldn’t tell fully who it was until the lights turned on. Pinkie Pie stood infront of him, it seems they were in a basement of sorts. “Heya Sleepy-Head~” Pinkie Pie said ecstatically as she got closer and kissed the restrained colt on the lips. She broke the kiss quickly and said “I know your with Dashie and what-not but we CAN keep this OUR little secret? Right? Right?” and quickly licked Moonlit Guardians lips again. “U-uh…” Moonlit Guardian stuttered as the situation he was put in was tight, he didn’t know how to answer and all he could say was “Y-yes?...” Pinkie Pie cheered “Yipee~” as she let off the restrains on Moonlit Guardian and in an apologetic voice she said “Sorry for knocking you out Moony, Just wanted to keep this a little secret spot is all!” Moonlit Guardian stretched a bit and said “It’s okay and don’t worry... how long have I been knocked out anyways?” and Pinkie Pie answered “Just a few little itsy bitsy hours!” He sighed and Pinkie Pie looked over at him and she quickly placed a hoof on his cheek and gave him a long, deep kiss. Moonlit Guardian couldn’t do anything but enjoy it, he’s been alone for so long and now so many ponies love him... Moonlit Guardian fell back, Pinkie Pie fell with him as she continued to kiss him and as they landed Pinkie Pie sneakily slipped her tongue into her mouth and playfully played with his tongue. He was surprised at Pinkie Pie for doing this, his face lit up and his wings plopped up, he wrapped his forelegs around the pink pony as they kissed and he finally started to return the kiss unknowingly. Their kiss ended when Pinkie Pie broke the kiss and got up, she was slightly blushing herself but she quickly got up and said “You should get going now, Moony... I think Dashie is waiting for you~” Moonlit Guardian got up and hugged Pinkie Pie, he then walked up and out the basement door and turned his head towards her to say “See you later, Pinkie” He then turned back forward and walked out of Sugarcube Corner and flew back to Rainbow Dashes home in the sky. Moonlit Guardian couldn’t take his mind off Pinkie Pie anymore and what she just revealed to him. He got to Rainbow Dashes house and landed infront of the door, entered and went into his room to see Rainbow Dash laying back on his bed, waiting for him... “Hey...” Rainbow Dash greeted and Moonlit Guardian replied “Hey... Dash...” and she got up from the bed and said to him “Moonlit... there’s something... something I need to tell you...” Moonlit Guardian tilted his head slightly and Rainbow Dash walked up to him and she kisses him softly and then says “I’m...” Rainbow Dash gulps and continues, “…pregnant...” Moonlit Guardians face flushed when he heard this and immediately says loudly, “Are you sure?!” and Rainbow Dash replies with a nod, He starts to pace back and forth, his mind on overdrive to take in what he just heard. “W-why didn’t you tell me earlier?” Moonlit Guardian asks and Rainbow Dash answers “I would’ve... but I felt scared at what you might do...” Moonlit Guardian immediately hugged Rainbow Dash tightly saying “I can’t believe this... but I guess there’s no stopping it now...” and she hugs him back tightly saying “I love you Moonlit...” A small tear drops from Moonlit Guardians face and he says, “I love you too, Dash...” Rainbow Dash walks out of Moonlit Guardians room and says “You can come sleep with me anytime you want...” as she exits the room and walks into her own room. Moonlit Guardian jumps onto his bed and thinks, his mind focused on both Pinkie Pie and Rainbow Dash but also turns towards Twilight Sparkle aswell. “Who do I choose?” he asks himself and he closes his eyes and quickly falls asleep on his bed. His mind on overdrive thinking about those three ponies who all love him, his mind thinking whom does he love the most, who does he choose, whom is his special somepony... Lunas Moon rises high into the sky as the night goes on, everypony is asleep except Rainbow Dash. Rainbow Dash is crying lightly, thinking about herself and what’s going to happen to her. Her life changed so suddenly and now she’s going to become the mother of a little kid of her own. He glanced back into the cloudy house and then closed the door. Moonlit Guardian spread out his wings and flew down into Ponyville, right by Twilights Library. He sighed lightly as he walked up and knocked on the door, waiting for Twilight to answer. The door opened and Moonlit Guardian saw that Spike had answered the door. “Oh, uh... hi there S-spike?” Moonlit Guardian awkwardly said as he didn’t really know Spikes name. “Oh, hey you’re that new pony... you here to see Twilight?” asked Spike and Moonlit Guardian answered, “Yeah... where’s she?” and then Twilight Sparkle walked down the staircase inside the library and said, “Right here, Moonlit.” Spike walked back somewhere else into the library and Moonlit Guardian walked into Twilights library. “So, why are you here?” asked Twilight Sparkle and he answered, “I need you to help me find my brother...” ________________________________________ Through Days and Nights, Through Darkness and Light, I will never forget, The times of love, The times of happiness, The times of life. To bring joy to one, Brings sadness to the other. _____________________ It was a beautiful day in Ponyville as Equestrias Greatest Flyer was practicing some tricks around an open field. As she landed on the ground after a day's worth of practicing she saw a mysterious Alicorn Colt hovering clumsily towards Ponyville. "Hey, You There!" said Rainbow Dash as she started Dashing towards the Colt as she continued to say "You need some help?" The Colt just answered "N-No Thanks, I can handle flying myself." as he clumsily hovered his way into Ponyville, but then Rainbow Dash went in front of him and stopped him. "So, what's your name?, I haven't seen you around here." asked Rainbow Dash as she landed on the ground in front of the Colt. "Oh uh... my name's Moonlit Guardian, and you?" asked Moonlit Guardian Rainbow Dash answered "My names Rainbow Dash! The Fastest Flyer in all of Equestria!" and then she began to fly high into the sky, then she flew downward at high velocities as she began to do loops and helixes in the air and a bunch of other tricks. "Woah Cool!" shouted Moonlit Guardian as he landed on the ground and applauded Rainbow Dash. As Rainbow Dash landed on the ground after her masterful showcase of tricks Moonlit Guardian said "That was awesome!" "Yeah, that's what a lot of ponies say." boasted Rainbow Dash as she hovered in the air and did a 360 degree helix turn. Moonlit Guardian said "I can't really fly as well since my right wing keeps on moving a lot of faster than my left wing, making me un-balanced." and then Moonlit Guardian tried hovering in the air but his right wing had un-balanced him and he fall onto his left side. Rainbow Dash asked "Woah Moonlit, anything wrong with your wing on the right side?" as she walked up and started inspecting it. "N-no!, there's nothing wrong with that wing... it's just... I don't really have full control over it." said Moonlit in a shy tone. Rainbow Dash kept on inspecting Moonlits right wing and poking it with her hoof. When Rainbow Dash poked Moonlit Guardian's right wing with her hoof his wing had extended and then contracted in a time span of 3 seconds. Moonlit shook as this happened and Dash couldn't figure out the reason of why his wing is doing that. "Hey Moon, try hovering like this." said Rainbow Dash as she started hovering in the air with her wings moving properly. Moonlit nodded as he started to ascend into the air and hovering on the spot, but then a few seconds later his right wing had started to move even faster and then he once again, fell onto his side. "AAAGH!" screamed Moonlit as his wing freaked out, but a few seconds later he got back up and blushed a bit. "Yeah... I can't tell what's wrong" said Moonlit as he looked at his wing. Rainbow Dash giggled lightly and said "Maybe we should get Twi to check out your wing there." and then Dash started hovering. "Wait who's this... 'Twi'?" asked Moonlit and Rainbow Dash answered, "Just follow me to her place." And then she slowly hovered her way to Twilight Sparkles place so that Moonlit Guardian is able to follow. Moonlit Guardian followed closely and looked side to side and saw some of the ponyfolk in Ponyville just staring at him. He kept walking on close to Rainbow Dash, towards the humble abode of Twilight Sparkle. They were halfway there until a certain pink earth pony somehow appeared out of nowhere infront of Moonlit and spooked him. "Ooo!I'veneverseenyoubefore!Cool,youranalicorn!MynamesPinkiePieandwhat'syourname?" and Pinkie Pie smiled in front of Moonlit Guardian and continued, "You know what this calls for? A Par-" but a hoof from Rainbow Dash stopped her from continuing. "Ugh, Pinkie Pie... don't act all ballistic on him." said Rainbow Dash as she saw Moonlit Guardian smiling awkwardly, "His names Moonlit Guardian and I was just taking him to Twilights library to get his wing check out." Pinkie Pie turned quickly to Rainbow Dash and said "Well why don't you go to a doctor? You Silly Filly~" and Dash responded "I don't think a Doctor would be able to figure out what's wrong with his wing." Pinkie Pie rolled her eyes, "Well oki doki loki! I'll see you later then Dashie... and Moooooony~" she said and smiled as she felt proud of how she thought of a new nickname for the new colt that she had recently met. Pinkie Pie merrily hopped away like a bunny and let Rainbow Dash and Moonlit Guardian continue their short trek to Twilights home. It took a few minutes and they finally arrived there, Rainbow Dash knocked on the door and waited patiently for the door to swing open and she counted down "Three... Two... One..." and the door swung open and a Purple Pony stood infront of them. "Oh, Hey Dash!" said Twilight Sparkle as she saw the hovering cyan colored Pegasus and as she turned her head to the side she saw this alicorn colt she had never seen before. Twilight looked at him carefully and Rainbow Dash said "Hey Twi, this is Moonlit Guardian. I brought him here to see if you can check out what's wrong with his right wing." And Twilight responded, "Shouldn't you have brought him to a doctor?" in a serious tone. "I don't think they'd know what's wrong." answered Rainbow Dash as she landed lightly on the ground. Twilight said "This is strange though... how is he and Alicorn if there's only two in existence?" "I don't know about him at all, he just showed up near where I was training which was on an open field. A Mysterious colt he is, you think you can find something on him later when you fix his wing?" responded Rainbow Dash as she stood on the right side of Moonlit Guardian. Twilight inspected the mysterious colts right wing and lifted it up, seeing a large, large burn mark under the joint of the wing to the body. "There's your problem, he must've been in a fire or something." said Twilight, "Just let him get some rest, give him some analgesic put some water on it, clean it of any infection, Wrap the burn lightly with a clean dry gauze, It doesn't look like a major burn, but just keep watch on him for awhile. "Uh... I guess I should go home then?" asked Moonlit Guardian in a shy tone but Rainbow Dash responded, "You're staying with me, I don't know who you are... but you're in no condition to get back home." Twilight was already inside the library sifting through some family archives but couldn't locate anything about 'Moonlit Guardian'. She walked back to where Moonlit Guardian and Rainbow Dash are standing and handed Dash some medical supplies. "I already told you what to do with these supplies so get him some rest and patch up that burn of his." said Twilight Sparkle as she turned around and walked back into the library with the door closing behind her. "Time to head off then, hold onto my hoof and I'll help you fly up to my home" said Rainbow Dash as she held out her hoof. Moonlit Guardian had grab hold of her hoof and they both flew off into the skies. Moonlit Guardian held onto Rainbows hoof very tightly as they flew across the sky towards the home of Rainbow Dash. When they landed he sighed, smiled at her and said, "You have a nice home." Rainbow Dash smiled and opened the door, the home was completely made of cloud so it was very soft like a pillow. She walked to another room and Moonlit Guardian followed her and then Rainbow Dash said, "Here's where you'll be sleeping." and in the room was a bedroom made of cloud, it was as soft as the rest of the house but the bed was even softer than the home. Quickly, she used her speed to put water over his burn and wrap it in the gauze. Moonlit Guardian felt only a slight pain but not much from that and he fell onto the bed. His eyes closed as he felt a shock of memory flood against him and he cried unnoticeably. Rainbow Dash was already out of the room and outside, clearing the skies to finish her job for today. A Few Hours Passed as Moonlit Guardian was asleep in the soft, cloud bed but terrible memories invaded his dreams and he kept on remembering... Rainbow Dash was laying on a cloud just outside of her home and she took a short nap, she too has terrible memories invading her dreams, she has always tried to change and move them but to no avail. ~~~ "Where am I?" said Rainbow Dash as she walked along the trail of dirt inside the deep forest she was in. She looked around and surveyed her surroundings, as she kept on walking she saw blood, a familiar sight in her eyes and she smelt the smell of smoke. She quickly jumped up into the air and flew towards the source of the smell of smoke and saw a burning house... it was her old home when she was younger, the place her parents had died... Rainbow Dash wanted to get inside the house and save her parents from burning to death, but an invisible force stopped her. She could only watch as the building collapsed and her parents died right in front of her... she couldn't do anything to stop it... "No…" "NO…" "NOOOOOOO!" ~~~ Rainbow Dash was rolling about and screaming on her small cloud and almost fell off, but she woke up from her nightmare just in time to start hovering. She was crying terribly hard and she walked back into the home to check up on Moonlit Guardian. When she got into his room he was still asleep, but rolling around a bit like he was having a nightmare. "I guess I'll just stay with him" said Rainbow Dash to herself in a tired tone as she layed on the soft floor of her cloud home and fell asleep once again. The Hours passed as the next day began and Rainbow Dash woke up, "Another Nightmare..." she said to herself as she got up. She looked over at her sleeping friend to see he was still asleep, but he wasn't rolling all over much anymore. She shrugged and walked outside to fly out and get something to eat. Pinkie Pie was walking around and saw Rainbow Dash flying through the skies and so she followed and said, "Hey Rainbow Dash!" "Ugh... I'm too tired for this Pinkie..." Rainbow Dash said to herself as she stopped and hovered down to Pinkie Pie and said, "What is it?" Pinkie Pie smiled and replied, "You seem hungry, why not bring you and your friend to Sugarcube Corner?" and then she took a breath and continued, "I'll bake you both some cupcakes, on the house!" Rainbow Dash rolled her eyes as she said "Fine Pinkie Pie, but there better not be any party there." and then Pinkie Pie tilted her head and said "Why would I do that? You already told me not to!" and she merrily hopped away into Sugarcube Corner. Rainbow Dash flew back into her home and woke up Moonlit Guardian. He woke up hazily and said "H-huh? What is it Rainbow Dash?" and she replied "Pinkie Pie is going to bake us some cupcakes, come on." Rainbow Dash held out her hoof again and Moonlit held onto her hoof, they both started soaring through the sky and landed in front of Sugarcube Corner. Pinkie Pie opened the door and said "Oh hey, you two made it! Come on in, I've already baked you both a bunch of cupcakes!" Moonlit Guardian looked away shyly and Rainbow Dash pulled him into the building. There was a table set up for them and they both sat down at the table, Pinkie Pie walked up and said "Heya there again Dashie and Moony! I made your table especially for you two!" Pinkie Pie gave them some freshly baked cupcakes made perfectly by Ponyvilles favorite Party Pony. Rainbow Dash proceeded in eating her cupcake but Moonlit Guardian was perplexed at what a 'cupcake' was. He sniffed the cupcake and took a small nibble out of it, "Mmm~" he said as he started biting even more of the cupcake. When he finished it he smiled and said "Delicous." and smiled. Pinkie Pie smiled back and said "I very, very glad you like it Moony!" and Rainbow Dash giggled and said "Have you ever eaten a cupcake before?" Moonlit Guardian smiled and responded, "This is the first cupcake I've ever eaten... the first real meal I've eaten in years." Both Rainbow Dash and Pinkie Pie were confused by his sentence and Rainbow Dash asked "in years? How old are you?" and Pinkie Pie said, "Just by looking, I can tell he's about the same age as us" Moonlit Guardian said, "Uhm anyways... can we go back home now Dash? I feel like getting some more rest." and Rainbow Dash replied "Fine, come on." and so Rainbow Dash walked outside with Moonlit Guardian following her. Rainbow Dash held out her hoof again and Moonlit Guardian smiled and held onto her hoof tightly. They both took off into the sky and back to Rainbow Dashes Home, once they landed, Moonlit Guardian went off into the room which was presumably now his and he jumped back onto his bed. Rainbow Dash giggled as she saw him jump onto the bed and she exited the room. She proceeded back onto her regular duties to clear some of the clouds in the skies to make the day clearer. ________ A Terrible Memory can never be forgotten, but always remembered, it can be changed and moved, but will never go away. She was taking one of her ‘naps’ but this nap was giving her a Nightmare. ~~~ Rainbow Dash was walking around Ponyville, it was just like a regular day in Ponyville until she heard a peculiar slicing sound. She Dashed towards where she had heard the sound and saw a Grey Flying Alicorn with Bloody Red Eyes holding a flaming blade. This Alicorn was on a rampage, slaughtering anypony in his path. Then... he looked at Rainbow Dash, his expression looked like sadness, and as he looked Rainbow Dash had seen a flash of what he really looked like behind this Alicorns Bloody Eyes. She saw him... She saw Moonlit Guardian... ~~~ “WAAH!” Rainbow Dash exclaimed as she woke up in terror, she looked around cautiously to survey where she was again. She was still on the cloud she was napping on and a single tear dropped off of her eye. “No... my dream was just a nightmare... It can’t be real!” Rainbow Dash said to herself as she spread out her wings and flew off into her home. She walked into the room Moonlit was sleeping in and saw that he was still asleep, she sighed in relief and sat down to recollect her thoughts about her ‘Nightmare’. Suddenly, her ears perked up as she heard Moonlit Guardian waking up, he was hazily getting up from his sleep and he looked at Rainbow Dash to see she was crying lightly. “Ugh...” he whined silently as he rubbed his head and then he asked, “Dash, you okay?” and by that moment Rainbow Dash replied, “Y-yeah! I’m okay.” as she wiped the tears off her face. Rainbow looked outside and saw it was the beginning of night and looked at Moonlit Guardian to say, “I need to talk to you.” Moonlit Guardian nodded as he sat on the cloud bed and focused on Rainbow Dash. Rainbow Dash had explained her ‘nightmare’ to him and in the end he said, “I would never do anything like that... not unless something terrible happened... something that enraged me...” He weakly got up and walked outside and as he exited, Rainbow Dash asked “Where are you going?” and so he replied “I’m just going to sit outside for some air.” and that’s what he did. Rainbow Dash yawned and she walked into her room sleepily, she lay in her bed and she fell asleep quite quickly. Moonlit Guardian was sitting outside, he had experienced a nightmare about Rainbow Dash, and how she had died because of his ignorance... A tear dropped off of his eye as he got back up and walked back into the home of Rainbow Dash to get into his room and fall asleep, but as he lay in his bed he looked to the side to see a mysterious silhouette of a dark Pegasus. He wasn’t too tired to realize this but he fell asleep before he could do anything, then the Pegasus that was inside of the home had vanished into thin air. _____________ The Night passed by quickly as they both were asleep and then finally the sun had risen and Rainbow Dash was already wide awake. Moonlit Guardian however, was still asleep and as Rainbow Dash walked into the room to try and wake him up she saw that the bandages on Moonlit Guardians right wing had disappeared. She didn’t know how they were gone but she saw that his wing was already healed up nice and proper. She poked his right wing lightly. “Uh... Ugh... R-Rainbow Dash? ” Moonlit Guardian asked as he rubbed his eyes to see Rainbow Dash. “Oh, you’re awake!” Rainbow Dash said as she pulled him out of bed and she said “Look! Your wing is all healed already! I don’t know how though but let’s see if you can fly.” Moonlit Guardian asked, “Can’t we do this later? I’m still kind of half-asleep here.” But Rainbow Dash just kept on tugging him outside. Once they were both outside, Rainbow Dash asked, “Okay, try flying now.” and so Moonlit Guardian spread out his wings which created a small shine that caught the attention of Rainbow Dash. He then flapped both his wings in unison and took off into the air, he smiled and then he flew around Rainbow Dashes home in a quick minute. Rainbow Dash’s mouth gaped open lightly at this as she saw his wings change from a dark grey to a lighter shade of grey with a small shine. “Wow...” she said, “The was Awesome!!” she cheered. Moonlit Guardian landed beside Rainbow Dash and gave her a big hug, she blushed of course, but she also hugged him back. “I still wonder how your wing healed so quickly” she asked and he replied “I don’t know, but if it’s healed, then it’s healed!” and he quickly took off into the sky again and started flying around for fun. Rainbow Dash smiled and she spread out her wings, took off and they both playing a small game of tag before landing in Ponyville, outside of Twilight’s library. Just as they had landed, Twilight Sparkle had opened the door and was about to go someplace else. “Hey Twi!” said Rainbow Dash in a happy voice and Twilight Sparkle replied, “Hey D-“ but Rainbow Dash interrupted her and continued to say, “Moonlits right wing is already all healed up! Isn’t that awesome?” Twilight Sparkle saw Moonlit Guardian standing beside Rainbow Dash, minding his own business and she looked at his right wing to see that is was actually fully healed. “But... how can this be? His wing shouldn’t heal that quickly.” said Twilight Sparkle as she started inspecting the wing. “I don’t know how it healed either.” said Moonlit Guardian as he watched as Twilight Sparkle was inspecting his right wing. Rainbow Dash pushed Twilight Sparkle a bit away from Moonlit Guardian as she said “Hey, his wing is healed. Okay?” and Twilight Sparkle answered, “Okay, Anyways I better be going to see Fluttershy... I promised I’d watch over her cottage while she goes somewhere.” “Well Okay... Come on Moonlit, let’s go see Pinkie.” said Rainbow Dash as she took off into the air toward Sugarcube Corner. Moonlit Guardian followed along after saying a small goodbye to Twilight Sparkle. Suddenly, as Rainbow Dash was flying toward Sugarcube Corner, she looked down and saw Ponyville on fire! Rainbow Dash stopped in the air and said to herself, “W-what the heck...” and then when she blinked, Ponyville was back to its normal state again. Rainbow Dash rubbed her eyes and looked around, as she was looking around Moonlit Guardian caught up and pounced Rainbow Dash in the air, but he kept on hovering so they both wouldn’t fall from the sky. “Gotcha! Come on Dash, why you waiting here?” asked Moonlit Guardian as he let go of Rainbow Dash and she replied, “Oh sorry Moonlit, I kinda blanked out there. Let’s go.” Rainbow Dash then bolted off again but Moonlit Guardian quickly followed, while flying through the sky their speeds matched and almost at the same time, they landed infront of Sugarcube Corner. “Phew, what a rush!” sighed Moonlit Guardian as he stretched a bit, then Rainbow Dash replied, “Yeah!” and she giggled. Moonlit Guardian hasn’t flown in a while so for him, it was a real adrenaline rush. Both of them walking into Sugarcube Corner after a small breather, and saw the lights were turned off... Both Rainbow Dash and Moonlit Guardian kept on walking, and then they heard a voice about to shout... “SURPRISE!!” and the lights quickly turned on, revealing Pinkie Pie and many other ponies. Also there was Twilight Sparkle, who said she was going to do a favor for Fluttershy. But there Fluttershy, Applejack, Rarity were also there attending this party. “W-woah! What’s this?” asked Moonlit Guardian in a shocked manner as he looked around the room. Pinkie Pie hopped beside him and answered, “It’s a party! For you, Moony!” Rainbow Dash giggled as she didn’t expect this and her friends had kept this a secret from her and Moonlit Guardian. Moonlit Guardian stuck by Rainbow Dash in a semi-shy manner but he talked to a bunch of the ponies who’re there. Fluttershy then approached Moonlit Guardian and said in a small voice, “Uh... Hi Moonlit...” and Applejack and Rarity both walked up to him. Applejack then said, “Howdy there Moonlit! Nice tah’ meet ya.” and when she finished, Rarity continued, “Oh yes, Hello there Moonlit, It’s nice to meet you.” Pinkie Pie asked, “So how you liking the party, Moony?” and Moonlit Guardian answered, “It’s amazing!” and Moonlit Guardian, along with the mane six all giggled. Later on in the party, Moonlit Guardian was leaning against Rainbow Dash, he was drunk, or in truth, really drunk. He had drunk a lot of punch... but this punch he was drinking had a bit too much sugar. Sugar for Moonlit Guardian, made him drunk rather than giving him a Sugar Rush, and so, while he drunk, his logic was lost and he opened himself up rather easily. “H-heeeey Rainbow Daaash~” Moonlit Guardian said in a sluggish accent and voice, “Y-you look soooo...” he hiccupped and continued, “soooo cute!” Rainbow Dash blushed when he said this, and she took the moment and quickly kissed Moonlit Guardian. She was feeling such a beautiful sensation while kissing Moonlit Guardian. He blinked and began to kiss her back, nopony noticed them kissing at all and then after a minute or so they stopped kissing and then Moonlit Guardian passed out onto the floor. Moonlits wings were plopped up like a lit light, and his face was all red. Rainbow Dash lightly laughed and picked him up onto her back. She then walked up to Pinkie Pie and said, “Hey, Moonlit passed out so I’m taking him home, See you later Pinkie and thanks for the awesome party.” Pinkie Pie replied, “Oki Doki Loki~ See you two later!” and she went back to focusing on the party. Pinkie Pie already knew what how Moonlit Guardian had passed out but she kept it secret and giggled. Rainbow Dash sighed and looked at Moonlit Guardian, but when she did... she saw his hair and mane on fire, they were burning uncontrollably but they kept the look of Moonlit Guardians regular hair and mane style. She rubbed her eyes and Moonlit Guardians hair and mane were back to its normal look rather than being engulfed in flames. Rainbow Dash did not know what just happened but she just shrugged it off and carried Moonlit Guardian back home. She felt really happy after that kiss, but it wouldn’t have lasted because she knew the Moonlit Guardian wouldn’t remember it at all. Rainbow Dash sighed lightly and said to herself, “I wish I could tell him... I wish I could express my emotions for him.” and she silently cried lightly without waking Moonlit Guardian up. They had reached home and Rainbow Dash laid Moonlit Guardian onto the bed that was his, she looked around to make sure nopony was around and she lightly kissed him on the forehead. Rainbow Dash then whispered to him silently, “Good night...” and as she left the room she turned her head and continued to say, “...my Guardian.” and then she went to her room and lay in her bed for a good fifteen or so minutes before falling asleep. =============================================================== Twilight Sparkle was in her library and thinking to herself about how Moonlit Guardians wound healed so quickly. Spike walked into the room with two books and gave it to Twilight Sparkle, saying “Here ya go, Twilight. A book about Alicorns, and a book about Mysterious events.” “Thanks, Spike.” said Twilight as she magically levitated both books and levitated the book about Mysterious events in front of her to read. “Huh... what’s this?” she said as she turned to a page about a dead family. It showed a burned down home, there were no suspects and no witnesses, the only known deaths are two parents, Skyline Link and Josephine Guardian. There were pictures showing two missing alicorn brothers: ‘Daylight Torrent’ who was the oldest brother and... “Moonlit Guardian” Twilight Sparkle said as she kept on reading. Then the book said that the eldest brother had been found in Canterlot, and is now living by himself in Canterlot and is part of the ‘Royal Guards of Canterlot’. Twilight Sparkle kept on reading and read out loud, “The youngest, Moonlit Guardian, was never found and was proclaimed deceased ten years ago...” and then she put that book down and went to reading about Alicorns. Twilight Sparkle already knew about how the Princesses are both alicorns, but she never knew there were more of them. She saw another print talking about a ‘special’ two foals that were born with both a Unicorns horn and Pegasus wings. Twilight Sparkle then kept on to reading on with the book as it said that only one of the two foals had survived... “No...” Twilight Sparkle said to herself as she rubbed her eyes and continued, “...This can’t be right.” Twilight Sparkle then said, “I got to talk to Princess Celestia.” and then she turned to Spike and said, “Spike, take a letter.” =============================================================== Rainbow Dash was walking in a forest, a damp, rainy forest. She kept on walking, not knowing where she was going and then, in an instant, a flash of light blinded her for a quick second and she saw a burning house. This wasn’t any house she had ever seen before, she turned her head slightly to the left to see two ponies running from the burning house, she had saw that they were young so she followed them. “Hey- Hey come back here!” Rainbow Dash shouted as she quickly hovered and then dashed through the air. But somehow, they were faster than her at flying and she couldn’t keep up any longer. Rainbow Dash stopped flying and landed lightly on the grassy ground, she took a few breaths and turned and she saw she had never really moved at all and that she was still by the burning building. She flew into the air and caught a raincloud, she then tried to put the fire out as quick as she could... It didn’t work. Rainbow Dash said to herself, “How...” and shook her head, she looked down at the burning building and then she began to hear a voice. “it was your fault...” said the voice lightly “What?” asked Rainbow Dash “It was your fault!” said the voice in a louder tone “Wait, what was my fault!” Rainbow Dash said as she turned and saw herself when she was younger, staring at the burning building from the sky. “It WaS aLL YoUr FauLt” shouted the voice angrily. “W-What?! No!” Rainbow Dash shouted back. A Black Pegasus with corroded and bleeding eyes broke through a cloud Rainbow Dash was looking at and shouted, “IT WAS ALL YOUR FAULT!” ~~~ Rainbow Dash screamed and then woke up suddenly. “W-where am I? Was it j-just a Nightmare?” she asked herself, Rainbow Dash got up from her bed and went into Moonlit Guardians Room, she said to herself “I can’t sleep alone tonight...” She laid herself beside the sleeping Moonlit Guardian and hugged him, he was warm and he smiled while Rainbow Dash was hugging him. Rainbow Dash smiled as well, she then fell asleep to the warmth of her friend that she was hugging and snuggling with. Moonlit Guardian had hugged her back, and Rainbow Dashes face was red even though she was asleep, she didn’t have any nightmare tonight. Tonight, she had a lovely dream... ________ A Terrible Memory can never be forgotten, but always remembered, it can be changed and moved, but will never go away. Remember that no one can forget, but all can forgive, Look out for others, and always love them. The Bright Sun kisses all with happiness, The Dark Moon whispers to you of sorrow and forgiveness. And Evil... _____________________ Twilight Sparkle was looking around the library hastily for the book about Alicorns. “Where is it?!” she growled at herself as she looked around and finally realized it was still on the desk. “Oh yeah...” said Twilight Sparkle as she walked up to her desk and picked up the book. She stood beside Moonlit Guardian and levitated the book in front of them both and she began to turn to her bookmarked paged about ‘Daylight Torrent’. “My brother...” said Moonlit Guardian as he scanned across the page, “Brother...” growled Moonlit Guardian as his eyes began turn to a fiery red color. Twilight Sparkle turned her head and saw this change in Moonlit Guardians eye color and she immediately started to walk backwards towards the wall. Moonlit Guardian was lost in his own mind now, rage began to fill his body as a circle a flames began to form around him... ~=~=~=~=~=~= “Where are we going” said a young grey colt as he was following his older, golden colored brother through Everfree Forest. “I don’t know” replied the older brother as he kept running in a straight line. They came to a stop in the middle of a cleared space in the forest, there was a little pond and there they rested a bit. After a few minutes, the older brother said “Stay here, I’ll fly into the sky and scout the area.” and so the older brother flew up into the sky and through a dark, foggy cloud. The younger brother waited patiently for his older brother to come back down, but he did not ever fly back to him. The younger brother stayed patiently anyways, waiting for his brother to return, there he waiting for years, with no food to eat, no shelter, with nothing. =~=~=~=~=~=~ Moonlit Guardian had passed out onto the floor, scorch marks on the wooden floor can be easily seen around him in a perfect circle. “Woah...” said Twilight Sparkle as she looked at Moonlit Guardian. She poked his side to see if he was still alive and he quickly twitched and flipped over. Twilight Sparkle lightly giggled at this situation and so she picked him up and laid him in her bed. “Spike, we have a guest sleeping here tonight, it seems he passed out.” Twilight Sparkle shouted loudly to Spike who was in another room. “Yeah, Yeah.” yelled Spike who replied in an annoyed tone. Twilight Sparkle went to quickly assemble a small bed on the opposite side of where her original bed was and once she finished she lay and fell asleep on the newly assembled bed. The Next Day, Twilight Sparkle woke up first, her hair was a mess like she had a terrible dream. She looked around hazily and then went wide-eyed, she was asleep next to Moonlit Guardian! She blushed lightly when she figured out she had walked in her sleep to fall asleep beside him, she quickly got up and went to fix her hair. Moonlit Guardian was snoozing lightly and a smile was lit up on his face, Twilight Sparkle never saw this since she was busy waddling in her own emotion. Twilight Sparkle walked out the door, but as she did she looked back for a quick second and then she continued to go on with her regular day. Spike was asleep aswell, so she knew she didn’t have to worry about him. Later on in the day, Twilight Sparkle returned home and as she did she went to check on Moonlit Guardian, she went to check on him... “H-huh!” she exclaimed as she saw that her bed which Moonlit Guardian was asleep on, was empty! Twilight Sparkle panicked and looked everywhere around the library, as she searched she couldn’t find him anywhere. She ran outside, throwing open the door as she ran and she then proceeded to run all around Ponyville, looking for him. “Moonlit!” Twilight Sparkle shouted as she ran around Ponyville, she then walked into Sugarcube Corner and Pinkie Pie immediately hopped infront of her, like she was waiting for Twilight Sparkle to walk inside. “Pinkie, have you seen Moonlit anywhere?” asked the panicking Twilight Sparkle, Pinkie Pie smiled and said “Yeah, Moony’s just over there.” and as she said that, she pointed toward the direction of a table where Moonlit Guardian was passed out. “I made him a bunch of cupcakes! It seems like he really enjoyed them~” said Pinkie Pie as she hopped away, humming a small song. Twilight breathed a sigh of relief and walked up to Moonlit Guardian. She saw that he was passed out and that his face was all covered with frosting and sprinkles from the cupcakes. Twilight lightly giggled at seeing him like this and so she picked him up on her back. She waved goodbye to Pinkie Pie, who was watching the register and then she exited Sugarcube Corner and walked back home, still relieved that she had found Moonlit Guardian. As they arrived back to Twilights home, she layed Moonlit Guardian back in the bed and magically levitated a wet towel to lightly wipe his face clean of all the cupcake frosting and sprinkles. Moonlit Guardian sneezed a bit and flipped over, his face was nice and clean now and so Twilight Sparkle put away the towel and went down the stairs to pick out a few books to read. She wanted to do more studying on why Moonlit Guardian was enraged at his brother, and she wanted to know what had truly happened that fateful night many years ago. She found a few books and begin to read... =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- Rainbow Dash was laying in a small cloud, taking one of her ‘usual’ naps. She suddenly woke up because of a Nightmare and fell off of the cloud! She almost began to panic but she kept a level-head and unraveled her wings to let herself glide. She then hovered in the air and wiped her forehead of any sweat that she was sweating because of that event. “Phew...” said Rainbow Dash, “Close call.” Rainbow Dash then flew towards the Farm where Applejack and her family presided, Rainbow Dash remembered that she had to help out Applejack with the new barn that was still being built on the spot where she had destroyed that old barn. Applejack saw Rainbow Dash flying and waved to her, saying “Howdy, Dash... ya’ll made it!” and then Rainbow Dash landed infront of her and said “Heh Yeah... so, what’re we working on today?” Applejack turned toward the barn and pointed toward the roof, saying “You need to build up as much of the roof as ya’ll can.” Rainbow Dash nodded and took a few tools and supplies and flew up to the scaffolding on the side of the roof. She put down all the tools and supplies and only kept the ones she needed to build the first layer of the roof. She then put those tools and supplies to the side and then picked up a corner of the large tarp that was put over the barn to cover the inside from rain. She flew across and removed the tarp and then let it fall to the side which revealed the wooden supports of the roof. Rainbow Dash went back to get her tools and she took some small wood paneling, she then proceeded to put them all across the roof area really quickly, nailing each of them together as she put them down onto the roof. A few minutes later she finished, Rainbow Dash sighed and looked at the plans, she seems to have put everything in place, she then took some brushes and some paint and began to paint the roof. Rainbow Dash took about an hour to finish painting the whole roof and covering up any dangerous spots... then she began to feel sleepy. She quickly put down whatever she was carrying and flew down to Applejack and as she landed she said in a dizzy tone, “Applejack, I-I’ve got a b-bit of a headache... I’ll see you later.” and Applejack nodded lightly and returned back to her work. Rainbow Dash flew through the air like she was drunk, she swerved in her movement and her speech was slurry, she flew terribly high in the air which made it even worse. She then passed out in mid-flight! She was free-falling unconsciously from the air, tears slowly began to stream out of her eyes... She was only a few feet from the ground until a grey streak quickly flew across the ground and grabbed her! Rainbow Dash opened her eyes and saw it was Moonlit Guardian, her face was red as she was being held in the Alicorn Colts hooves. Rainbow Dash fell unconscious again... -~-~-~-~-~ The Darkness was everywhere... she couldn’t hide anymore from her past. Rainbow Dash looked at the knife that was right across from her, she felt so much grief and sadness because of what had happened in the past. “I’m sorry...” said Rainbow Dash as she reached for the knife, but before she could grab it a mysterious hoof pulled away the knife. Rainbow Dash sighed as she cried herself to sleep, she wondered who it was... or was he... or she, was doing there, and why ‘they’ helped her. Her eyes were red before she closed them to fall asleep, she had been having nightmares for awhile so she couldn’t sleep. As she fell asleep, the same mysterious pony hugged her, it was a warm feeling and she easily fell asleep and this time... she didn’t have a nightmare. ~-~-~-~-~- A whole day passed as Rainbow Dash was asleep, as she woke up she remembered what had happened. Now she knew her feelings clearly now, she was in love with Moonlit Guardian. Rainbow Dash saw a note laying on top of her and she picked it up, she then read the note and it said: Dear Rainbow Dash, I’ll be over at Twilight’s place for awhile, she said she had something that could help out my wing because she said it was still a bit damaged from the inside. Love, Moonlit Guardian Rainbow Dash needed to tell Moonlit Guardian about her feelings, she quickly got up from her bed and flew right out the door towards Twilight’s place. Her objective was so great to her that she flew at tremendously high speeds and right through Twilights door. As she went through she walked into the bedroom and up the stairs, her face turned from a face of seriousness to a surprised face... tears streamed down her eyes as she saw that Moonlit Guardian and Twilight Sparkle were in bed together... “No...” said Rainbow Dash, she quickly turned around and ran out, leaving a trail of tears across the floor. Moonlit Guardian immediately woke up from hearing the sound of somepony running and looked to see a multi-colored tail exit out the bedroom door. “Oh no...” Moonlit Guardian whispered to himself, he got up without waking up Twilight Sparkle. He ran to chase Rainbow Dash but Rainbow Dash was flying at her top speed which was impossible to match. Moonlit Guardians efforts to follow her lead towards Rainbow Dashes cloud house in the sky. Moonlit Guardian knocked on the closed door... No answer... He knocked even harder on the door... Still no answer... Moonlit Guardian then tried opening the door, but the door was locked... He then flew backwards and then full speed forwards and rammed into the door, but the door still stayed shut. He could hear Rainbow Dash crying, he needed to get to her. He didn’t want to use it, but he casted a spell to make his wings into sharp metal, he then broke the door down and the spell wore off. “Rainbow Dash?” he lightly asked as he slowly walked in, he still heard crying but he couldn’t pin-point the exact room she was in. “Get out!” shouted Rainbow Dash, she was really angry and she really wanted to be alone. Moonlit Guardian looked through the rooms one-by-one and couldn’t find her in any of them, but there was one room left and it was the bedroom... He slowly peeped his head in to see Rainbow Dash, shivering and crying in a corner... a knife by her side with blood on it... He asked “Rainbow Dash... can I ta-“ but he was interrupted, “Get out! Now!” shouted Rainbow Dash. “Please Rainbow Dash... let me explain...” asked Moonlit Guardian as he got closer and saw that she had cut her left hind leg a bit. Rainbow Dash wasn’t in the mood to talk and so she kept on crying, she couldn’t take the pressure of life anymore and she wanted to die. Moonlit Guardian then said “You see... Twilight was just using some magic on my wings until I fell asleep, I didn’t know she went to sleep beside me...” Rainbow Dash listened but she still kept on crying, she reached for the knife which was across from her, but then Moonlit Guardian stomped his hoof onto it, ignoring the cut it caused he kicked it away. Rainbow Dashes eye sparkled a bit, a flashback occurred to her and she finally realized. “It was you...” said Rainbow Dash in a shocked manner. “You’re the one who stopped me from hurting myself...” Moonlit Guardian didn’t understand what she was talking about but he went with it and just nodded. Rainbow Dash wiped away the tears from her eyes, and sat upward... a bit embarrassed. Moonlit Guardian got close enough to hug Rainbow Dash and he was so relieved that she hadn’t killed herself. “I... I love you Moony...” said Rainbow Dash as she fell unconscious from her cut that she had made on her left hind leg. Moonlit Guardian smiled and laid her on the bed and said silently, “I love you too...” and then he kissed her forehead lightly and quickly bandaged up her hind leg. His eyes were a light blue from this time and so he smiled and also remembered to bandage up his cut hoof. Moonlit Guardian lay on the spot beside Rainbow Dash and smiled and then he hugged her and fell asleep himself... It was like the day had passed by because of this event. None of them had nightmares, Both of them had dreams. _______________________________ Knowledge seems like power, But it never was. It was only mind, It was only imagination. A Heart of Sadness takes away the Heart of Love, A Heart of Hate takes away the Heart of Happiness, Grief and Regret will always haunt, But they will never hurt, They will grow, And grow, Until their numbers are large, And then they attack. Knowledge and Nuisances Pt.2Knowledge and Nuisances _______________________ Those left alone, Are never alone. They will always have a friend, Even if they are lost within. "Dear Princess Celestia, I learned that we are all connected in some special way, even if one does not know them, They will become friends later in their life." _______________________ Moonlit Guardians nose slightly pressed against Rainbow Dashes as they slept together, their dreams were intertwined with one another. Rainbow Dashes lips were so close to Moonlit Guardians but as she slept she quickly flipped over and faced away from him. He was still hugging her although. ~~ Rainbow Dash flew through the sky along with Moonlit Guardian, their dance in the sky was beautiful as they looped each other, dove beside each other, and through their flight, every time they came into contact with each other they held one another’s hooves and circled around. As they circled their eyes met and then they let go and flew around the sky in their beautiful dance again. After a few minutes they both flew at each other and when they were close enough the wrapped their forelegs around each other in a deep embrace, then they held each-others hooves and then Moonlit Guardian stared at Rainbow Dash and she did the same. Rainbow Dashes eyes sparkled as they stare at each other, Rainbow Dash leaned in to kiss him and he leaned in as well, their lips met and suddenly... ~~~ "Mmm~...hm?" Rainbow Dash lightly moaned as she slowly opened her eyes and saw that she was directly kissing the sleeping Moonlit Guardian. She went wide-eyed immediately and broke their kiss, she then sat up and looked at Moonlit Guardian whom was still asleep. Rainbow Dash sighed as she placed a hoof on her cheek and she felt that she was warm. From that she knew she was blushing terribly hard. She was partially suprised since she never blushed like ‘this’ many times before. She looked at Moonlit Guardian and gave him a small kiss on the cheek and said, "I love you, you know..." She then layed back on the soft, cloud bed and fell asleep. Moonlit Guardian wrapped his forelegs around her nuzzled her mane while he was still sleeping which made Rainbow Dashs face even more red. Rainbow Dashs dreams once again intertwined with Moonlit Guardians... ~~~ Rainbow Dash walked through the green, grassy field and saw Moonlit Guardian, who was laying in the field like he was asleep. She got closer and felt something strange on her hooves as she walked closer... She slowly raised her hoof and saw the substance was colored red and felt thick, her mouth flew open as she gasped and looked toward Moonlit Guardian who was laying on the field, bleeding… "No! Moonlit!" she shouted as she quickly leaped off the ground and flew as fast as she could to the dying colt. She got to him just in time and carefully flipped him over slowly and then she put a hoof on his chest. She felt no pulse and tears began to fall off of her face and onto the floor. Blood kept slowly seeping out of him, Rainbow Dash wrapped her hooves around him and sobbed deeply. "Please... don't die..." Rainbow Dash said lightly and pressing the side of her head against his chest. A small glimmer came from the tip of Moonlit Guardians horn, he slowly but weakly wrapped his forelegs around Rainbow Dash in a hug and weakly said, "I'll never die, if it means hurting you..." Moonlit Guardian slowly opened his eyes, looked at Rainbow Dash and smiled, he then said weakly, "I love you too..." After he uttered those words the whole dreamscape flashed a bright white, once the flash of white disappeared the grass was green again with no signs of blood on the grassy field. But one thing was missing... Moonlit Guardian had disappeared from Rainbow Dashs embrace and she was just hugging nothing but air now. She almost fell but quickly put her legs down and looked up at the sky... She smiled and cried tears of joy... ~~~ Rainbow Dash lazily opened her eyes to see that Moonlit Guardian was already out of bed, she never kept much food at home because she usually just gets something from Pinkie Pie or Applejack. “That reminds me…” Rainbow Dash said to herself, she had to go move some clouds away from Ponyville today. Rainbow Dash got out of bed and yawned, she then did a few stretches and got some spare Apples she kept in a basket inside of her so called ‘kitchen’ and ate half of them. Finally Rainbow Dash took one final long yawn and walked out the door, she looked up at the sky and sighed, wondering where Moonlit Guardian has gone. She finally jumped off of the cloudy platform her home stood on and then unraveled her wings, once her wings were spread out she then gained control of her flight and flew towards the wild clouds hovering over part of Ponyville. ______ Moonlit Guardian was taking an eager stroll across Ponyville, he already went to Sugarcube Corner to eat a large cake that Pinkie Pie promised. His mouth still watered from that cake even though he shared half of it to Pinkie Pie. He was going to bring Rainbow Dash, but she was still asleep when he woke up and he didn’t want to disturb her very… ‘wet’ dream. Moonlit Guardian was lost in his train of thought until he walked right into Applejack. He stepped back a bit and looked at her and she was pointing a very serious face at him. “Oh… uh… s-sorry!” apologized Moonlit Guardian and Applejack grinned lightly and said, “Moonlit Guardian was it? Rainbow Dash has been talkin’ lot bout’ you.” Applejack walked around Moonlit Guardian and inspected him, Moonlit Guardian just watched as she was inspecting him and once she finished she said “You’re very built, and you look like a hard-worker too!” She then stood infront of him again, “You mind helpin’ out around the farm today, Moonlit?” asked Applejack. Moonlit Guardian nodded in delight with a grin on his face, he hasn’t really had something to do for the past few days so this’d be good exercise and also a small learning experience! Applejack turned around and walked along the path towards the Apple Orchard and stood by a tree, she saw that Moonlit Guardian didn’t follow her and then motioned with her right foreleg telling him to come over to where she is. Moonlit Guardian nodded and then ran towards where Applejack was standing and stopped right in front of her, Applejack could do nothing but lightly giggle and she then said, “All ya gotta do is buck as many trees as ya can, make sure all the apples get into one of these baskets…” Applejack pointed towards a pile of baskets laying on side. Applejack picked up a basket and put it by the tree full of Apples, she then faced away from the tree and with as much strength as she had she lifted up both her hind-legs and with full force she kicked the trunk of the tree! The apples fell out of the apple tree and right into the basket, none of the apples were left on that tree. Applejack turned toward Moonlit Guardian and asked in a stern voice, “Got it?” Moonlit Guardian nodded and smiled, picked up a basket and placed it by an apple tree that was full of apples. He turned away from the tree and lifted up both of his hind-legs in unison and with his full strength he kicked the trunk of the tree. The tree shook a bit as well a small shockwave formed around the tree and hit four other trees that were in close proximity and they all dropped their load of apples onto the ground except for the tree Moonlit Guardian had just bucked, which it’s apples fell neatly into the basket. Applejack chuckled and said, “Woah’ there Moonlit, ya’ll don’t need tah’ put so much force on that buck!” and Applejack then said, “Maybe you can use a bit of magic to clean up the rest of these apples all over the ground.” Moonlit Guardian smiled and his horn begun to glow as he magically levitated three baskets near him, and then he took a breath and then levitated all the apples that were laying on the ground into the baskets very neatly. “*Huff* There we go…” lightly panted Moonlit Guardian, Applejack laughed and said, “I think you’re done workin’ fer’ today, Moonlit.” Moonlit Guardian nodded and said, “See you later, Applejack” and he immediately took off into the sky. He then went to look for Rainbow Dash since he hasn’t seen her in awhile, it seems like time passed by so quickly. Rainbow Dash was napping on top of a soft cloud that was hovering right above Fluttershys cottage. Moonlit Guardian searched around Ponyville in a quick twenty seconds, his speed sometimes blowing some other the other ponies hair and manes. Moonlit finally ended up speeding towards Fluttershys cottage and he saw a little hovering cloud on top of it with a little Rainbow tail hanging off. “There she is!” Moonlit Guardian said to himself as he tilted up and then ran right into Rainbow Dash on the cloud and they both rolled across the cloud. Once their rolling stopped Rainbow Dash was wide awake and surprised as she lay on top of Moonlit Guardian and Moonlit Guardian was laying back on the cloud staring at Rainbow Dash whom was on top of him, with a blush on his face. “Oh uh… Hey D-“ Moonlit Guardian was about to finish but Rainbow Dash interrupted him with a kiss on the lips. Moonlit Guardian went wide-eyed and then slowly closed his eyes and then slowly slipped his tongue into Rainbow Dashes mouth while they kissed, and moved his tongue around. Rainbow Dashes cheeks turned a lighter tint of red and she slipped her tongue into Moonlit Guardians mouth aswell, their tongues playing with each other and circling around in their mouths. _____ Fluttershy was walking around Ponyville, she hung out with Twilight Sparkle and Rarity for most of the day and it was getting ‘pretty dark’ in her standards. She was walking home and while walking she was scanning her vicinity so she wouldn’t get surprised. Fluttershy caught sight of her cottage and it was almost night time by now, it didn’t worry her that it was almost night although since she was almost home. She then caught sight of a mysterious cloud and her ears perked up to some tiny noises. “I-Is an-anyone th-there?” Fluttershy asked in a shy, tiny voice. Nopony answered so she slowly took off into the air and slowly flew off up to the cloud and when she got there she saw… “eeep…” Fluttershy grew a blush on her face as she saw her friend and this colt sleeping together on a cloud that has a certain ‘fluid’ lightly spattered under Rainbow Dashes thighs… Fluttershy quickly flew back down and hid in her house as she was scarred by this sight and couldn’t fall asleep for the rest of the night... _____________ Knowledge seems like power, But it never was. It was only mind, It was only imagination. A Heart of Sadness takes away the Heart of Love, A Heart of Hate takes away the Heart of Happiness, Grief and Regret will always haunt, But they will never hurt, They will grow, And grow, Until their numbers are large, And then they attack. IntermissionIntermission ____ Nights flourish, Days glow, I will never live on... ___ Princess Celestia lightly rested on her large, purple pillow inside of her private bedroom when a letter from Twilight Sparkle came in. She took the letter, opened and levitated it infront of her and it said: -~-~ Dear Princess Celestia, I have met this new pony named Moonlit Guardian, and to my surprise he's an Alicorn like you and Princess Luna! It was very strange so I did some studying up on him and couldn't find much of anything. All I could find out was a very old Pony tale of these things called 'Shadows' and also learned that Moonlit Guardians brother is residing in Canterlot. I'd be obliged to ask for your assistance in finding Moonlit Guardians brother, 'Daylight Torrent' and also if you have any information of the 'Shadows' my books did talk about. Your Faithful Student, Twilight Sparkle ~-~- Princess Celestia put down the letter and levitated infront of herself an empty letter, a quill, and some ink in a small pot. She dipped the tip of the quill inside of the ink pot and then began to write on the letter: To my Dearest most Faithful Student Twilight Sparkle, I will agree to find your friends brother and I will send you another letter regarding anything I find out about the 'Shadows' on terms that I meet your friend a some point later. I insist that you continue to find out anything about him and I hope that I can finally see somepony I haven't seen in awhile. I do know Moonlit Guardian well, but I will withhold this information to when we all get together, in the next letter I shall give you the time and place where all of us will meet, and remember to bring all of your wonderful friends. Your Number is Up Pt.1Your Number Is Up Part 1 _________________ Loneliness Festers in all ponies, Some more potent than others. It shows itself through emotion, It makes our true selves known... _________________ The Day passed by quickly as Fluttershy hid in her cottage, what she saw slightly scarred her. She didn’t get much rest that night but she still was able to get a bit. The Day loomed on as Celestias Sun rose from the Edge of the Sky into sight and Lunas Moon descended out of sight. Fluttershy recuperated herself and got up, brushed her mane and hair and shyly but slowly walked towards the door, each step to her felt slightly heavy to her but was silent to others. Once she got to the door she slowly opened it to see a familiar white unicorn infront of her. “O-oh Hi Rarity…” Fluttershy said in a timid, shy voice as Rarity replied, “Hello Fluttershy, Darling you look like a wreck! Has something happened?” Fluttershy timidly responded in a shaky voice, “U-uh… nooo…” and she walked outside and closed the door and looked up to see no cloud in the sky today. Rarity turned and said “Well okay Dear, we SHOULD be getting to our appointment now.” and Rarity began to trot towards the Spa with Fluttershy slowly but closely following. Rainbow Dash flew at incredible speeds, whipping across curves and turns through Ponyville, looking for Twilight Sparkle. Rainbow Dash was persistent on finding the purple unicorn pony since she couldn’t find her at the Library where she resided in. To no avail could she find Twilight Sparkle so she sped back to her home in the sky, sweat flying off her face as she flew. She crashed right through her homes doors and they immediately bounced back and closed after she quickly got through. Rainbow Dash panted lightly, tired from searching for Twilight Sparkle all over Ponyville and she walked into her room and fell right onto her bed. Moonlit Guardian timidly walked in and asked, “Uh… Dash? You okay?...” and she sat up and said “Nothings okay! I can’t find Twi anywhere!” Rainbow Dash fell back onto her bed and continued “I need to talk to her about something…” and Moonlit Guardian walked up to Rainbow Dash and asked “If I may ask, what is this something?” Rainbow Dash turned her head away from the side Moonlit Guardian stood and answered, “It’s private.” Moonlit Guardian sighed and walked out of Rainbow Dashes room and back into his room. His face looked like depressed and whats mysterious to Rainbow Dash is that when she took a small look at him she saw his eyes changed from green to blue. Rainbow Dash sighed and fell asleep, her mind was placed elsewhere trying to ignore the fact about how she’s keeping something secret from Moonlit Guardian. Moonlit Guardian sat on his bed, wondering what Rainbow Dash was keeping from him, his eyes changed from blue to green and he got up and flew down to Sugarcube Corner. His flight was slow but swift as he flew from Rainbow Dashes home to Sugarcube Corner in a minute. He opened the door and walked in, seeing Pinkie Pie at the cashier handling a few customers. Moonlit Guardian saw this and knew he had to wait his turn so he walked up and waited in the back of the line, Luckily for him there was only two other ponies in the line with him. Those two ponies bought cupcakes as well as one buying a large cake and slowly carrying it out of the small shop and it was finally Moonlit Guardians turn. “Ooooh Moony~” Pinkie Pie joyfully said as she hopped and then walked past the counter to get to Moonlit Guardian as he said “Yeah, Hey Pinkie...” Pinkie Pie was so joyful today as her mood was so bright like a cherry, she looked at Moonlit Guardian and said “I knew you were coming today, so I made you some ‘special’ cupcakes~” Pinkie Pie pointed towards some cupcakes on a table with a folded nametag saying ‘Reserved’ on it. Moonlit Guardian slightly chuckled and said “Well, thanks!” Moonlit Guardian walked up to the table and took one of the cupcakes, he then proceeded to immediately chomp one down and saying “Simply Delicious!” Pinkie Pie walked up to Moonlit Guardian, her face changing from happy to a more serious face and saying “Now… goto sl-…” Moonlit Guardian fell over, the cupcake that was laced with a bit of powerful anesthetic taking its toll as he couldn’t hear Pinkie Pie finish her sentence. ……………………………….. Moonlit Guardian woke up, a bit drowsily as he was stuck in a dark room, he tried to move but he seemed to be held down by restraints on his forelegs and hind-legs. He felt a lick on his lips but couldn’t tell fully who it was until the lights turned on. Pinkie Pie stood infront of him, it seems they were in a basement of sorts. “Heya Sleepy-Head~” Pinkie Pie said ecstatically as she got closer and kissed the restrained colt on the lips. She broke the kiss quickly and said “I know your with Dashie and what-not but we CAN keep this OUR little secret? Right? Right?” and quickly licked Moonlit Guardians lips again. “U-uh…” Moonlit Guardian stuttered as the situation he was put in was tight, he didn’t know how to answer and all he could say was “Y-yes?...” Pinkie Pie cheered “Yipee~” as she let off the restrains on Moonlit Guardian and in an apologetic voice she said “Sorry for knocking you out Moony, Just wanted to keep this a little secret spot is all!” Moonlit Guardian stretched a bit and said “It’s okay and don’t worry... how long have I been knocked out anyways?” and Pinkie Pie answered “Just a few little itsy bitsy hours!” He sighed and Pinkie Pie looked over at him and she quickly placed a hoof on his cheek and gave him a long, deep kiss. Moonlit Guardian couldn’t do anything but enjoy it, he’s been alone for so long and now so many ponies love him... Moonlit Guardian fell back, Pinkie Pie fell with him as she continued to kiss him and as they landed Pinkie Pie sneakily slipped her tongue into her mouth and playfully played with his tongue. He was surprised at Pinkie Pie for doing this, his face lit up and his wings plopped up, he wrapped his forelegs around the pink pony as they kissed and he finally started to return the kiss unknowingly. Their kiss ended when Pinkie Pie broke the kiss and got up, she was slightly blushing herself but she quickly got up and said “You should get going now, Moony... I think Dashie is waiting for you~” Moonlit Guardian got up and hugged Pinkie Pie, he then walked up and out the basement door and turned his head towards her to say “See you later, Pinkie” He then turned back forward and walked out of Sugarcube Corner and flew back to Rainbow Dashes home in the sky. Moonlit Guardian couldn’t take his mind off Pinkie Pie anymore and what she just revealed to him. He got to Rainbow Dashes house and landed infront of the door, entered and went into his room to see Rainbow Dash laying back on his bed, waiting for him... “Hey...” Rainbow Dash greeted and Moonlit Guardian replied “Hey... Dash...” and she got up from the bed and said to him “Moonlit... there’s something... something I need to tell you...” Moonlit Guardian tilted his head slightly and Rainbow Dash walked up to him and she kisses him softly and then says “I’m...” Rainbow Dash gulps and continues, “…pregnant...” Moonlit Guardians face flushed when he heard this and immediately says loudly, “Are you sure?!” and Rainbow Dash replies with a nod, He starts to pace back and forth, his mind on overdrive to take in what he just heard. “W-why didn’t you tell me earlier?” Moonlit Guardian asks and Rainbow Dash answers “I would’ve... but I felt scared at what you might do...” Moonlit Guardian immediately hugged Rainbow Dash tightly saying “I can’t believe this... but I guess there’s no stopping it now...” and she hugs him back tightly saying “I love you Moonlit...” A small tear drops from Moonlit Guardians face and he says, “I love you too, Dash...” Rainbow Dash walks out of Moonlit Guardians room and says “You can come sleep with me anytime you want...” as she exits the room and walks into her own room. Moonlit Guardian jumps onto his bed and thinks, his mind focused on both Pinkie Pie and Rainbow Dash but also turns towards Twilight Sparkle aswell. “Who do I choose?” he asks himself and he closes his eyes and quickly falls asleep on his bed. His mind on overdrive thinking about those three ponies who all love him, his mind thinking whom does he love the most, who does he choose, whom is his special somepony... Lunas Moon rises high into the sky as the night goes on, everypony is asleep except Rainbow Dash. Rainbow Dash is crying lightly, thinking about herself and what’s going to happen to her. Her life changed so suddenly and now she’s going to become the mother of a little kid of her own. Rainbow Dash crys herself to sleep, knowing that she’ll need some rest for tomorrow... ______________________ The brightness of ones smile, Gives others sunshine, Sadness and Love, Tolerance and Hate, Nothing compares to the happiness of one, Except the depression of another, When the day that the smile will be gone, That is day that hate will disappear too. The Time that I died.Years ago Centuries away The Days Past Through But has my life passed away? Character: Moonlit Guardian... Species: Pony... Sub-Species: Alicorn... Gender: Male... Status: N/A... Now sending notes... The Time I Died Life was a lost one, Dark and Dim, I turned to the sky, and cried out again. I looked at myself, at the mirror, the ocean, and the mist. I saw what it had become, I saw that all left was gone. I turned to the sky, I flew in the air, The pressure of life is what I despair. I flew higher, and higher, until I reached the top. I looked down and cried... "Goodbye" to those I love. I flew down, and down, faster, and faster... 50 feet... 40 feet... 25 feet... Tears streamed across my eyes, I said my last goodbyes, I closed my eyes and closed my wings, I let myself fall quickly... ___ The night was dim, everypony was at home, inside the house of Moonlit Guardian... a fight was going on... Shadows... Shadow Stalkers... Everywhere... I managed to escape with my brother... But my parents were left there... They died a horrible death... "I should've stayed" I said... My brother shook his head 'no' and helped me get away... We arrived in Ponyville... I met new ponies... 'SLICEEE~' went a knife going across the neck of a pony... I saw her die... I could've stopped her... It was my fault... More and more suicides that I could've stopped weren't stopped... They never listened... I blamed myself for not helping them... ___ 20 feet... 15 feet... 10 feet... 5 feet... ... Boom... The gray mist flew across the crater that used to be me... No Body was recovered, Blood was everywhere... But I wasn't dead... But neither alive... For I stood on the spot where I had once died... I looked at my past sins... and I forgave myself for them... Friendship is what matter most... Rather Death shall never win... The Nights Pass away The Days Pass through But the question is... Who am I? and what are you? The Guardian of the Moon looked across the vast wilderness and sheathes his sword, "Another Day" he says, "I will live more" and he turned away from the large forest and walked back home, the Forgiveness made his mind clear once more, Moonlit Guardian turned again and cryed silently, "I'll never see you two again." The memories of the death of his father and mother, Will never be forgotten, but can always be put away. A Terrible Memory can never be forgotten, but always remembered, it can be changed and moved, but will never go away. Remember that noone can forget, but all can forgive, Look out for others, and always love them. The Bright Sun kisses all with happiness, The Dark Moon whispers to you of sorrow and forgiveness. IntermissionThe Story of Moonlit Guardian – Intermission __________________________________________ As Days Passed By, The Guardian Stood High. The Twilit night passed through the sky, And with it was no cry. === Moonlit Guardian woke up with Rainbow Dash hugging him tightly, he blushed lightly but he couldn’t recall what had happened yesterday night. He lightly broke free of her hug and he stood up and stretched out his fore and hind legs. He looked back at Rainbow Dash and quickly he nuzzled her multi-coloured mane and then walked outside. He glanced back into the cloudy house and then closed the door. Moonlit Guardian spread out his wings and flew down into Ponyville, right by Twilights Library. He sighed lightly as he walked up and knocked on the door, waiting for Twilight to answer. The door opened and Moonlit Guardian saw that Spike had answered the door. “Oh, uh... hi there S-spike?” Moonlit Guardian awkwardly said as he didn’t really know Spikes name. “Oh, hey you’re that new pony... you here to see Twilight?” asked Spike and Moonlit Guardian answered, “Yeah... where’s she?” and then Twilight Sparkle walked down the staircase inside the library and said, “Right here, Moonlit.” Spike walked back somewhere else into the library and Moonlit Guardian walked into Twilights library. “So, why are you here?” asked Twilight Sparkle and he answered, “I need you to help me find my brother...” ________________________________________ Through Days and Nights, Through Darkness and Light, I will never forget, The times of love, The times of happiness, The times of life.
