As lightness gave way to the dark night, the blurred visions sharpened neatly to give shape to objects and colors. It was a few days after me and Flutterbat Intertwined with eachother, her stomach was becoming larger and larger, I always kissed her stomach and then she'll kiss my forehead, I always loved when she did that, she's probably the only female to ever kiss me so tenderly.

Pink hair woke me that night as it brushed across my face. It would have been a pleasant awakening, if it weren't for the hand slamming down to my face seconds after. One would expect a pregnant Vampire Queen with beauty to sleep with grace and gentleness, Flutterbat was anything but. She was actually quite the rough sleeper, making it slightly difficult to sleep some nights. Drool dripped down on her pillow as she squirmed around my bed. It was quite the amusing sight. Her yellow skin reflected the night wonderfully, giving her face a bright glow; her gravid figure snuggled perfected on the bed. When she was like this, she was actually adorable, at least until she woke, having a pregnant women to take care was no walk in the park, and the birth of our child would take about seven months according to her mother.

"Hungry..." She groaned as she begun to wake up. "Hungry!" She whined and hissed. The clawing begun to fade slightly, even Vampires from hell get exhausted eventually. I had to wait the racket against the door halted, and then I'd would feed her. In the meantime, I combed my hair and put on my pajamas that was in the bathroom, after I finished my morning routine, I tiptoed out of the bathroom and met a grumpy Flutterbat.

I sat her down on the couch as I prepared her apple cereal for breakfast.

"So Flutters, I've been meaning to ask, thought of any names yet?" I asked.

"Norman, we don't even know what the baby will yet."

"Well, it’s obviously going to be a girl."

"It could be a boy!"

We both looked at each other, our eyes widened.

“You want a girl?” Flutterbat whispered.

“You want a boy?” I whispered back.

Flutterbat rolled her eyes, “Lets just pick names then.”

I looked outside, the blue moon was high in the sky, I pondered for a moment, "Hmmm, if it’s a girl, what about Jacqueline."

Flutterbat floated towards him in a criss-cross applesauce position and then shook her hand, "No." She simply stated.

"What about if it's a boy, we'll name him Nicholas."

"Nope." She simply stated again, I groaned, after about one-hundred name suggestions, and about one-hundred name rejections I panted with exhaustion, she giggled and then burst out of laughter.

"What?!" I asked in a confused way.

"I have a suggestion, as soon as we see the baby, we'll decide on the name together, I wanted to say that before but... you coming up with names was so cute and adorable..." She blushed while she held both of her cheeks and stuck her tongue out, I narrowed my eyes, when both her eyes were closed, I grabbed her hands and kissed her mouth, she shrieked in surprise, but then melted into my embrace, I grabbed one of her legs and placed it on my side, she wrapped her arms around my shoulders. Slowly, my hands traveled down to her butt as I massaged it through her nightie, she pulled away immediately from the kiss and then hissed at me in intimidation.

"Who told you to touch there!?" She said as she gave me a playful smirk at me.

I shrug my shoulders, "Because I know you like it..." I then nipped on her neck, she shuddered in delight, we continued kissing until suddenly she clenched her stomach, I looked at her nervously.

"N-not a-again!" Flutterbat floated quickly towards the bathroom and opened up the toilet, she threw up, I shook my head, her barf just blocked me out of getting sweet love from her, I followed her and held her hair up.

"Love, are you okay?"

"WHAT THE HELL DOES IT LOOK LIKE TO YOU!" She hissed sticking her long tongue out, I winced a little bit as I felt her rage sting my ears, after a few seconds later, her eyes looked remorseful.

“I'm sorry, I didn't mean to snap at you like that." She choked up, she stood up and began to hug me softly.

"I know, I know..." said cooing her, I wiped her face from the sweat and I lifted her up, my cold skin comforted her, I sat her down on the bed and I ran to the fridge and gave her a cold apple, she took it off my hands and bit into it softly, I smiled and brushed her hair, she finished her apple and then gave me a weird stare.

"Norman, will we be good parents?"

I didn't want to make her disappointed or anything, so I just nod.

"Of course we'll be good parents, I'm already in love with him… Or her." I said nuzzling her face, she chuckled.

"I have another question?"

"Lay it on me."

"I've been doing a lot of think and I think we should probably move back to the Vampire Realm, because we can't raise a child in this small apartment."

Hmmm, she was right. As I looked around in my one-room apartment, it didn't look like the most appropriate place, and I was newly converted Vampire, why would I have any business staying here, so people could look at me differently, and call me all sorts of names that I didn't really care about, I grabbed her hands and then a whirlwind of bats teleported around us.

We arrived at her room again as she opened up the window.

"Meet you at the top!" She hissed and went to the top of her mansion giggling, I narrowed my eyes and followed her lead, I went to the window and floated on top where she was, when I arrived on top of the roof, she just looked at the skyline of her realm, she sighed in bliss.

"Much better." She took a whiff of the air that had a beautiful scent to it, I looked at her stomach.

"I still can't believe we're going to parents, it seemed just like yesterday..."

She nodded, "This is what we'll rule together, just you me, and our baby, don't you want that?" She held my hands as she gave me a heartfelt stare.

I choked up my own spit, "Y-yeah, I w-want that too..." I gulped, Flutterbat bit her lip and paused, I held her cheek, I tasted tentatively with my tongue as I traced it across the bottom of her lip. "Whoa whoa, that's a naughty word for a Princess isn't it. On to reading" I flipped the page.
