//-------------------------------------------------------// The Loss of a Pony & Dragon -by Bt3082- //-------------------------------------------------------// //-------------------------------------------------------// Memories and a Message //-------------------------------------------------------// Memories and a Message Adam Williams searched through the library's shelves.  He was looking for a book.  But on a day like this, it would be needed more than ever.  Eventually he stopped.  He spots something on the chair. He smiled as a single tear ran down his cheek.  It was his photo album that he made 8 weeks ago. On which was labeled, Twilight & Spike Adam took the book from the chair and sat down as he began to open pages. He looked at the first picture.  Twilight & Spike was cooking Toffee Apples for Adam on his 18th birthday. The photo showed them smiling at the camera with their finished Toffee Apples and were both wearing chef hats and aprons, apart from Spike, who is wearing a pink heart apron. Adam then looked at the next photo which made him smile, a photo of him & Twilight and Spike.  His parents had taken that. He remembered that photo well. The photo shows Adam, Twilight & Spike smiling with their pyjamas. They had their hands around their shoulders. Adam eventually reached the end of the book.  He began to cry, Rarity may have been right, but Adam still wanted Twilight & Spike back more than anything in the world. Because they're the best adoptive son and daughter that he ever had. The teary-eyed Teenager looked around the castle. Twilight & Spike's bed, which was now empty, Owlowiscious, who now had the ability to magically deliver letters to and from Princess Celestia, Twilight & Spike's dresser, on which rested a glass box containing fragments of Spike's egg and Twilight's bracelet.  As hard as Adam had tried to clear his mind for the past few days, Twilight & Spike's memory seemed to be haunting him everywhere he went.  He thought he had found salvation when he talked to Rarity, but it wasn't enough. He then began to cry. He misses Twilight & Spike so much. He then spots something on the pillows. It was a scroll.  The scroll didn't bear a ribbon or a wax seal, so it wasn't from Adam's shelves or from the Princess.  Twilight grabbed the scroll with and opened it.  The scroll was a note.  Written in the handwriting of none other than Twilight & Spike.  Adam read the note. Dear Dad, If you are reading this, it means that you've found it from under our pillow, as well as us.  As you already know, We're ill.  What you didn't know however was that we had always had a strong feeling that this would be our last day alive.  We can feel our life slipping away from us, but we at least have enough energy to write you this note and hide it under our pillow.  I know that it was devastating when you saw us like this, but we must say that we believe that our time has come.  Despite only a few weeks, we feel that we have fulfilled our journey down the road of life.  We know that you are on an errand right now, so you won't be with us, but somehow, that's how we feel it should be.  While you are on your errand, you will at least have some last feelings of bliss until you come home.  We beg of you to not feel guilty about this in anyway.  You have already done enough for us. We also want to tell you how lucky we feel to have had a loveable dad like you.  You have taken care of us since our parents died and we are very grateful.  You were always there for us and you always loved us no matter what the circumstances.  Thank you for everything, dad. We love you so much. From your best & loveable Adoptive Son & Daughter, Twilight & Spike. Adam put the letter down, astounded at what he just read and angry at himself for not finding this sooner.  Suddenly, a feeling of bliss flew through him.  He almost felt like he could be happy again.  He realized what was troubling him the most.  It was the feeling of guilt.  But, Twilight & Spike had forgiven him, and he felt so happy.  Adam hugged the note tight in his forelegs. "Twilight, Spike," he said looking down at the note, "I love you too so much."
