There's Something Waiting in the Corner
A New Identity
Previous ChapterAfter Trixie had slaughtered Twilight, she trotted gracefully up the staircase from where Twilight's small frame was collapsed and blood-stained on the ground. A little smirk returned onto her face, it was not like it had ever left.
Trixie had said before that she didn't have a home, but that wasn't entirely true. When Trixie was continuously wandering along the outskirts of Ponyville, she managed to discover a tiny cabin in a nearby forest. She was happy to find that it was deserted, and that there were no neighbors that could've tried to take notice to her 'activities.'
Since nopony came to visit that part of the outskirts, she decided to reside in the cabin. Trixie would actually visit Ponyville sometimes, and it wasn't only the periphery. She would be able to be recognized as another newcomer, since she'd learned that cloaking spell. However, she could only activity the cloaking spell if the pony she was disguised as did no longer exist. And from there on, Trixie began to abduct, and murder anonymous ponies just for their identities.
Her main goal was to hunt down the mane 6, and return the hatred and bitterness they'd conveyed towards her. Trixie didn't plan to kill her clueless targets, but to instead torture them in ways they'd tortured her. But instead of mentally, she tortured them physically. Well, other than Twilight Sparkle.
Trixie had no idea how sensitive Twilight was when it came to mental torment, which came out to be a pleasant surprise. This would mean that Trixie could torture Twilight in more ways than one in the time she held her hostage.
Although, Trixie had another plan when it came to Twilight's friends, for they had upset her more than Twilight ever did. The anger that was hidden inside her heart urged, and craved to be released, but that was saved for one pony in particular.
Trixie frowned to herself as she remembered that she had to take a shower after 'toying' with Twilight. She could easily detect the dreadful smell of stained-blood covering her coat, which made her gag. She did enjoy torturing Twilight, but she surely didn't enjoy the aftermath.
"I never knew the smell of a rotting body would be this unbearable," Trixie mumbled under her breath, " This is just disgusting."
Nevertheless, Trixie knew she had to get used to this smell if she wanted to persecute the other ponies she hated so dearly. And when she did, she would definitely make sure to keep them conscious much longer than the time she had with Twilight.
As Trixie entered the shower, and adjusted the shower drain, the blood left on her hooves began to go down the drain, like little mice, burrowing under the ground to hide from a predator.
Trixie grinned as she thought of the mice, imagining them as the ponies that she intended to slaughter, and then she imagined herself as the predator, looking down on the innocent mice, her face showing loathing and hate. She wasn't going to support these mice, oh no, she was going to eat them.Swallow them. She imagined herself, drinking the poison and grime that lingered inside of them like it was a cup of her favorite drink. She yearned for their agonizing cries, their pleads of mercy, and most of all, the happiness they'd stored, being drained away in her stomach acid.
Trixie didn't realize that she'd been standing under the shower-head, letting the small water droplets pelt against her mane. She blinked, departing from her crazed imagination. She remembered that showering wasn't a place to think about butchering her fellow kind, but to instead calm herself, letting the ideas she enjoyed the most to consume her mind. But the problem was, these were her ideas. This is what she wanted. More than anything.

Rainbow Dash was grinning excitedly as Pinkie prepared her, 'Super-Duper-Flavorful Cake Surprise!' as she said it, or SDFCS for short.
"Pinkie Pie, dear?" Mrs. Cake asked out of the blue, as she emerged from the top of the staircase. Pinkie pie smiled up at her, her eyes darting from the cake sitting in the oven, to Mrs. Cake's face.
"Yes?" She asked, tentatively.
"Are you sure you can handle the uh," Mrs. Cake paused, trying to remember the name of the delicacy.
"SDFCS?" Pinkie Pie disrupted, hopping impatiently in place as the cake continued to bake.
"Yes, yes," Mrs. Cake continued, "This is the first time you've ever baked it. I know I showed you how bake it properly yesterday, but I don't know Pinkie Pie, this could end up in a disaster for all I know."
"Oh, don't worry about it," Pinkie Pie assured her, "I mean, how many times have I been unsuccessful when baking a cake?"
"We--" "0!" Pinkie interrupted once more, as she put on her oven mitts, and carefully opened the oven, letting the smoke escape into the airstream.
As the smoke abated, Mrs. Cake sighed, scratching the back of her neck, "That's true, even when you were a little older than a filly, you didn't make one mistake. I guess I just worried about you, that's all."
A small blush of appreciation appeared on Pinkie's cheeks, before she trotted over to Mrs. Cake, ready to give her a big hug.
"PINKIE!" Rainbow Dash shouted suddenly, pointing at the hot tray she was currently holding. "O-Oops!" Pinkie gulped, an embarrassed smile stretching across her cheeks. "I might want to put this down."
"Good idea," Mrs. Cake concluded, a little bit startled by the encounter, "When you're done packaging the cake, you're welcome to give me a hug."
"Yeah, I think that oughta be a smart idea," Rainbow frowned, impatiently, "I'm really dying for that super--uh-- whatever it's called cake!"
"Don't worry Rainbow! It'll be packaged before you could say, 'Pelicans!'" Pinkie squeaked, hastily snagging the decorative paper that was sitting on the counter next to the oven.
Rainbow Dash rolled her eyes at Pinkie's goofiness before saying, "Peli--"
Dash's eyes widened in shock as she was given the cake before she could've said the third syllable. "Told ya," Pinkie giggled, before trotting over to Mrs. Cake to give her a giant hug.
Pinkie Pie and Mrs Cake separated when a 'ding' was heard from the bell that was hanging from a string, that was tied to a hinge on the door.
Rainbow Dash turned around with the packaged cake in her hooves, curious to who had entered the bakery. She became even more inquisitive when a pony walked in, whom was wearing a shadowy cloak.
"Why hello there, stranger." Mrs. Cake smiled nicely, peering over the counter. "It's very ni--" "I have a message." The pony grumbled, rudely interrupting Mrs Cake. Well, forget about a warm welcome. Mrs Cake thought to herself.
Rainbow instantly detected the pony's impoliteness, and glared. She couldn't see the pony's reaction before of the hood covering his or hers face, but she knew that this newcomer wasn't a friendly one.
"Ooh! I love messages!" Pinkie squealed, ignoring the pony's bluntness, hopping around the counter to get a closer view. "Who is it for? Mrs Cake? Mr Cake? Pound Cake?"
Rainbow Dash watched the newcomer intensely. "No." The pony growled, but quickly cleared their throat. "It's for Twilight Sparkle's friends."
The pony hissed these very words, and Rainbow Dash noticed, "So, what's this important message, huh?" She crudely asked. What's his/her's problem?
"Well," The pony responded, giving his/her's full attention to Dash. "One of the royal guards sent me to tell Twilight Sparkle's companions that she had went missing earlier today."
"W-What?!" Dash gasped, shaking her head in disbelief. "I just saw her this morning! I was flying over the library and I saw her talking with Spike outside." The hidden pony shook his/her's head. "I'm sorry to say but, she must've wandered out somewhere and had gotten lost."
"Excuse me?" Rainbow growled, "I know Twilight, and I know that she wouldn't go out looking for trouble. Now tell me the truth."
Rainbow Dash was too furious to notice, but as her and the mysterious pony were bickering, Pinkie Pie was trying to figure out who this pony was, and if she'd seen her before. Pinkie had sworn she had heard this pony's voice before...
"I am telling you the truth. What else can I say? I can't just go back to the royal guard and ask them for more specific details! T--They probably haven't even found any clues yet to where she went." The pony growled, narrowing his/her's eyes at Rainbow, even though Rainbow couldn't see them.
"I don't believe it," Mrs. Cake suddenly spoke up, watching the mysterious pony closely. "Where could she have gone?"
"I'm going to find out." Rainbow announced, spreading wings, getting ready to take flight.
"Where are you going?" Pinkie asked, looking up at Rainbow. "To find a royal guard and ask about Twilight's 'disappearance.'" Rainbow replied, watching the secretive pony as she answered.
"Oh, that won't be necessary." The pony interjected. Rainbow halted herself, listening to what the pony had to say. "Why not?"
"I suspect that she could've went into the Everfree forest. I mean, there have a few disappearances there a long time ago."
"Well, it has been a long time since the disappearances occurred." Rainbow argued, "What makes you think she'll be in there?"
"It's the only clue we have to finding your friend," The pony explained, "It's worth more than nothing."
Rainbow Dash paused for a moment, deciding if she should follow the mysterious pony who claims to know where Twilight could be. Well if she or he tries any funny business, I'll kick the buck out of them. She grinned to herself, and nodded. "Fine."
Pinkie frowned, "Waaaitt... Why does Rainbow get to go? I can be a pretty slick detective." Pinkie winked.
"Remember, I need someone to take care of Pound Cake." Mrs Cake smiled at Pinkie.
Phew. Pinkie thought, One is better than two.
"Well, you two be careful." Mrs Cake warned them, "There are a lot of scary things in the Everfree forest."
"Hah, no need to worry," Rainbow bragged, "If anything dangerous comes into my vision, I'll beat the hay out of it until it runs off crying to it's mommy."
The secluded pony clenched their teeth in irritation, before trotting over to the entrance of the bakery, exiting without saying a single word.
"I think the most dangerous thing I'll face is probably that pony's dullness." Rainbow snickered, before following after him/her.

This was easier than I thought.
