THUMP THUMP the sound echowed through the corridor and down to several chambers. THUMP THUMP the sound of hooves on stone.
The soft dim light of a lanturn came into the corridor, along with several royal guards. The light shined off them, showing off their strong armor. Two carried a cage, one that had no sound from the inside.
The guards did not run, and did not hurry. They walked at a slow pace, when most would run as away as if their mane was on fire. They walked past many cells, most occupied with "them".
Equestria is known for its magic. To the point that the element of magic lives there. Many use magic for aid in day to day lives. However, there're those who wouldn't. The ones only interested in changing themselves. They are dangerous and hostile, minds corrupted, they'll turn and kill anything. They need to be contained.

The guards carried the cage to the closest empty cell, one almost at the end of the hall. Along the way, many "things" try to either claw or hiss at them. Some of the the things ponies will do to themselves is unimaginable. The guards walked past an older pair, two almost 300 years old. These two where trying dark spells to make them immortal so they could be together, forever. In the events of dark magic, they traided their sanity for mortality. They became agressive to others around. Royal guards showed up to capture them, and contain them. For 300 years, they've been sitting together, rotting away. But they're still together.
Walking down the corridor, other grotesque "things" can be found. Just befor the cage would be droped off at, was the most hostile of them all. This one was the ultamit test of selfesness. A stallion, unhappy with his body size, went to find magic to change ones self. After long hours searching, he found one to help. He would give up one thing for this, but he wasn't told. He would have to give up his own purity. He quicly grew into a pony sized demon, shafting into shadows and attacking those around. He was eventually caught be Celestia herself. He is kept under chains, in a solid stone box, in his steel cell. He is feed almost nothing, but enough to keep him from death.
Finally reaching the empty cell, the guard opened the gate. As the door opened, many of the "things" looked over to see what it was. A thin, skeletal pony fell out. The heavelly armord guards pussed it into the cell. It hissed and growled.
After the cell was secure, one guard turned and asked what this one was, to witch an armored guard answered, "One overweight mare who wanted to be a "stic figure" or somethin' like that, all I know is that shes insane and caught." The guard turned and walked back up the stairs. Befor doing so aswell, the one guard looked at the skeletal mare. Her body covered in blood, organs squeezed by the tight skin. Only movement on her was the heartbeat. The skin in the chest was so tight you could see the heart moving as it beat.
After all guards left and closed the gates locked. All lights where out, not even one faint light. Only sounds of breathing could be heard. Only this was the time they needed, the time to plan...
