The Magic Book

   The glistening fire on the candle lightened the room on a cold, brisk winter night. Twilight looked through her library for something to read before she went to sleep. There was nothing that interested her. She was looking through the 900's until something caught her eye. An old spell book! "Finally! Something good to read!" she murmured. She took the book and candle, walked up the stairs, and went to sleep.

     The next day, Twilight started to check it out. "Hmmm it looks so old, its starting to rust!" Twilight exclaimed. "Yeah, yeah. POOF ME UP SOME DIAMONDS!" Spike said. "No, Spike it might not have that.It looks like no ordinary spell book." Twilight responded. Spike rolled his eyes. "Tell me when you see something full of value." Spike shrugged. He walked away. Twilight rolled her eyes and dusted the book. She coughed as it spread in the air. She opened the book. Spells and spells galore! Twilight's eyes opened in awe. She flipped through pages and saw spells she never seen before. "Diamond spell. I think Spike would be happy with this." said Twilight. "Spike!" she yelled. Spike came down. "What?" Spike asked. "Diamond spell. I found one!" Twilight exclaimed. Spike clapped his hands. Twilight started to begin.She read the spell:

             Diamonds, Diamonds. All in here. Diamonds, Diamonds. Start to appear!

    Nothing showed up. "Dang!" cried Spike. Just then, a load of spiders flew down on top of them. "EW EW EW  EWWWWWWW!" cried Spike. Twilight shewed them off. "Well, that was not very good." Twilight said. "You think?" Spike yelled. Twilight rolled her eyes. "Wait, isn't today Pinkies party?" Twilight questioned. "Ye-yeah?" Spike said."We better hurry if we don't want to be late." Twilight said. She ran off. "Wait for me!" Spike called out. He followed her.

  Once they left, the book began to shake. Something strange was about that book. Something very strange.
