Previous Chapter-
Placing both elbows and forearms on the edge of the bar counter behind you, you lean back and strike the corner of the approaching round table with great force. Both wood and metal explode from the table’s side. Splinters and shards of both elements dispersed in the surrounding area, embedding itself in the floor and ceiling. The table staggers left before rolling to the ground alongside a confused and irritated brown stallion. The warm feeling of a strong forearm wraps around your neck. You are suddenly forced back onto the bar counter where the feeling of wind and air was seized from your lungs. The source resonated from behind; the bartender.
You pull at the arm and struggle to break free from the choke hold, saliva pours between your teeth. The body you possess was open and vulnerable to possible attacks. Looking forward, you spot the mustard colored mare rise from behind the old booth she and soldier originated from at the start of your mission. She reaches her hoof near her side and roughly pulls out a small shard of metal, throwing it onto the floor. She draws her wings back and accelerates forward. Bringing her hoof behind her head, she throws it in front of her, impacting your lower jaw.
Then the world went gray as ash...
The world around flashes white with the feeling of cool unclean water pitched harshly onto your face. The smell of dirt and dust fills your nostrils, throbbing eardrums burn with each sound that was made, and yellow crust along with cold water fills your waking bloodshot eyes. The sides of your jaw were numb with what felt like millions of prickling needles. Your body felt bound and tired.
“Wake up!” The deep voice echoed as the wind sharply passes the front of your body.
The side of your temple was struck with an iron hoof. The world opened with color and light. The wood floor was your only welcome into the world as your head rose to face the rude individuals. You gaze up at the silhouettes which slowly take form with light shining behind them. Their coats are as white as paper, gold armor decorates their bodies and serious stares plaster their faces. One of them leaned in and with minty fresh breath, spoke.
“Rise and shine, assassin!” He grinned, patting the side of your cheek. “Looks like your little job is over, kid!”
It was as obvious as the day itself. They were Royal Guards here to arrest you for your many crimes committed across the land of Equestria. As you look around the large room, you take note that the restaurant was no longer in its pristine condition, instead was destroyed and withered. The wall to the entrance was replaced with a gaping hole, the chandelier was removed from the ceiling which was later found atop a non-moving form, and the floor was riddled with hoof marks and woodcuts. Glasses were broken and furniture was scattered.
Your arms slowly rose into the air by two gold auras before being bound by two strong iron cuffs. You fell to the floor, excruciating pain resonates from the side of ribs.
“Get up, you filth!” The taller guard said as his hoof impacted your side.
Hoping to not be sentenced by another hard kick you attempt to stand, all while struggle to your hooves.
