"Nora!" Ren shouted loudly, as each person fall atop one another, Nora being on top, and Ren on the bottom.
"Sorry Ren!" Nora practically sang, as the others got up.
"I hear screaming." Ruby said. She looked around. They were right behind (or in front of. She couldn't tell) a mirror. It was dark, and she saw people running off.
"Twilight, you can't do this!" A girl's voice shouted.
The eight huntsmen and huntresses peered around the mirror, and saw several people running about in front of what appeared to be a school, but in the center of the fray, was a girl with red and gold hair, apparently pleading with a huge, demon-like figure.
"Why not?" The girl -apparently named Twilight- replied, "There's a whole other world right there, and it's just filled with magic!" She shot a beam of light to the front of the school, causing another portal to open.
"Is she talking about Remnant?" Jaune asked, though everyone was taken by the sight in front of them.
"But, you're destroying this world to get it!" The red and gold haired girl pleaded.
"So what?" the demon asked, "There's more magic there." She backed up to a menacing pose, and her hands started to light up, "And I want to understand it all!" She fired at directly at the other girl, who jumped out of the way, though the beam of energy caused the ground to cave in, revealing another portal, where several students almost fell it, and few had to grab the sides to stay it, and others had to help them. Meanwhile, the redhead had found something on the ground, and picked it up.
"Hang on!" a rainbow-haired girl shouted to another girl who was hanging on to the concrete with one hand.
"Obviously!" the other girl replied.
And, right as she lost her grip, two other students helped grabbed her wrist. "We've got you!" one shouted, and they pulled the purple-haired girl out.
Suddenly, without any warning, one girl with light pink hair began to glow yellow. And another blue, one orange, one pink, one purple. The girl with the red hair, swiveled around to face the demon. "This isn't the way!" She shouted holding the object in her left hand, "I know you feel powerful right know. Like you can have everything you want. I've been where you are. I've made the same mistake you're making. I put on a crown, and just like you, I was overwhelmed by the magic it contained. I thought it could get me everything I wanted."
"Oh, you're wrong." The demon name Twilight replied, "Unlike you, I can have everything I want."
"No you can't!" The redhead replied, "Even with all that magic and power, you'll still be alone!" She held up the object. "True magic comes from honesty!" The girl glowing orange's hair raised up. "Loyalty!" As did the rainbow-hair girl, "Laughter!" The girl with pink hair glowing pink, "Generosity!" the girl with the purple hair, "Kindness!" and finally the girl with the light pink hair.
Then, beams of energy surged from them, toward the small device in the redhead's hand, causing her to rise up in the air. "I understand you, Twilight, and I want to show you the most important magic of all!" She closed the object, and threw it hardly at the ground, as an orb or white light grew, and consumed the redhead, who emerged from it, with glowing yellow wings, and wearing a white dress, and as a glowing horn emerge from her head, she finished, "The Magic of Friendship."
The redhead shot beams of light from her hands, closing the portals, including the one to Vale, though none of the huntsmen and huntress's noticed at that moment.
In a seeming panic, the demon figure raced toward the angelic figure, and they slammed their fist against one another, in a surge of magic. Then, they each fired magical beams at each other, which collided, and tried to force their way to one another. The demon was succeeding, but a voice shouted, "Twilight!"
The demon looked down, and saw a dog, who's eyes were pleading. The demon became distracted, and mumbled a word quietly.
The angelic redhead took her chance, and used all her might against the distracted demon, who's power faded, as she was engulfed by the beam fired at her. Then, both figures became engulfed with white light, and a few seconds later, they were safely on the ground, back to their original appearances.
"I am so sorry," the former demon said, "I didn't mean for any of this to happen."
"I know," The redhead said, "And going by my own experiences, they'll forgive you."
Just then, the dog from earlier barked, and jumped into the former demon's arms, a pair of glasses in his mouth, causing her to laugh uncontrollably. And then, and older woman came running up form the bleachers, and started complaining.
"Well, that was interesting and all," Jaune said, backing away from the others, "But, I think it's time we get home." but, when he looked around, the portal was gone.
"Uh, guys?" Jaune muttered.
"What is it Jaune?" Ruby asked, then she noticed the portal was gone. "Wait, where's the portal?!"
Ruby searched around the area where the portal had been. "Oh, where is it? Where is it?! Where is it?!?!"
"What did you do?" Weiss asked, pointing at Jaune.
"I didn't do anything, honest!" Jaune pleaded.
"Are you sure?" Weiss asked, anger in her voice.
"If Jaune says he didn't do anything, then he didn't do anything." Phyrra said, defending her teammate.
"Then what happened to the portal?" Blake asked.
"Oh no, it's gone it's gone it's gone it's gone it's gone!!!" Ruby panicked.
"Will everyone clam down!" Yang shouted, "An old woman is coming this way!" Sure enough, a woman with pale blue skin and greyish-magenta hair was walking toward them, a hidden scowl on her face.
"Um...run." And, the eight huntsman and huntresses ran off into the strange world which they knew nothing of.
"And, they haven't been found yet?" Professor Ozpin asked, starring out the window.
"Not as yet," Glynda Goodwhich replied, "And they were the only teams not to return from the Emerald Forest yesterday."
"Well, Team Ruby had been known to break the rules, and they're very close with Team Juniper." Ozpin replied, turning to Glynda, "It would not be surprising if they went off to fight something else. After all, it wouldn't be the first time. I'm sure you remember the docks."
"I do remember," Glynda confirmed, "Although, perhaps we should send out a search party."
Ozpin closed his eyes, and took a sip from his mug. "We should wait one more day. Check police reports in the city, and see if there's anywhere else they might turn up."
"Alright." Glynda replied, "Are you sure you don't want to send out a search party?"
"Right now, we shouldn't." Ozpin reiterated, "All that is going on is a simple case of a few missing students. And, I'd like to keep it that way for the time being. If they haven't shown up tomorrow, we'll send out a search party, though we shouldn't make a big issue out of this."
Glynda nodded, and left the room, leaving Ozpin alone with just the loud ticking of the clock.
It felt like hours before the huntresses and huntsmen stopped running. They had no idea where they were, or what they were doing here. "How are we supposed to get back?" Ruby asked, clutching her tired knees.
"I don't know if we can." Phyrra replied.
"Does that mean we're stuck here?" Blake asked.
"We... we can't be!" Jaune said, "We have to get back home!"
"What if we can't?" Ren asked.
"Always the eternal pessimist..." Weiss scoffed.
"Ren isn't a pessimist!" Nora defended, "He's a realist."
"We're all missing the point." Phyrra said, "We need to get back to Remnant."
"But, what if we can't?" Blake asked.
"I... I don't know." Phyrra acknowledged.
"Right now, we need a place to sleep." Ruby suggested, "With everything going on, we need to blend in. Right now, we should find a place to rest for the night, and look for a way home tomorrow."
"But... there may not be a way home?" Weiss asked.
"Now who's the pessimist?" Yang asked, crossing her arms.
"Come one girls, we can't give up hope!" Ruby said, "After all, hope is what keeps us strong! C'mon, let's find a place to sleep, and then start searching tomorrow."
The others nodded slowly, their confidence slowly diminishing.
Twilight Sparkle entered Pinkie Pie's home, still shy. "Um... are you sure you're okay with me staying here for tonight?"
"Of course we are!" Pinkie Pie shouted excitedly, "We wouldn't we be?"
"Well, after what I did tonight..."
"That doesn't matter." Sunset said, "All that matters is who you are now."
"And, there's also a slumber party going on, so maybe we can play a game?" Spike asked, jumping out of Twilight's arms.
Twilight chuckled, "Alright, Spike. Maybe one game."
"I call Mario Kart!" Rainbow Dash shouted.
"You're on RD." Applejack challenged.
"This place is a dump." Weiss pointed out, uncomfortably lying down in her bed in the hotel room. Each team had gotten their own room. Unfortunately, the place they had to stay at, was, indeed, a dump.
"Oh, it's not that bad." Yang said.
"The walls are leaking water, Yang's bed is stained with some kind of soda, the springs in my mattress are broken, and Ruby's bed frame is missing a leg." Blake said.
"Yeah, Weiss, you got the best bed." Ruby said, "Why are you complaining?"
"I'm simply stating that we should've gotten better accommodations than this." Weiss explained.
"We couldn't afford anything." Ruby replied, "The money here is different than in Vale."
"If we couldn't afford anything, how did we get this hotel?" Weiss asked. Three pairs of eyes focused on Yang.
"What?" She asked.
"You were the one who got us these rooms." Blake said, "How?"
Yang smiled slyly, "I have my ways."
"Girls, let's just focus on the fact that we have a place to sleep, no matter how much of a dump it is." Ruby said, "Tomorrow, we'll get something to eat, and look for a way home, alright?"
Everyone else nodded, and they shut off the lights.
