Princess Virtues

Princess Twilight had walked down the hallways of her castle as she had often did before since this castle was now that she can call home. Meanwhile, at the Crystal Empire, Princess Cadance sat on her throne looking out at the sky from her window. The sky was the perfect mix of indigo and light pink as her aunts back at Canterlot lowered the moon and raised the sun. Princess Celestia and Princess Luna had just finished their ritual as they had often did before Nightmare Moon. Celestia, Luna, Cadance, and Twilight must have been thinking the same thing as each and every one of their thoughts were indeed about each other. They must have been thinking that they should perform their royal duties together. That they will spend all day checking on each and every one of their subjects.

"Have our carriages ready." Ceslestia said to one of the guards as he bowed.

"Sister, this will be the most fun that the four of us will ever have." Luna said as she smiled at her elder sister.

"I hope we'll have lots of fun with Twilight." said Cadance as she walked out of the Crystal Castle.

"This will be great, the four of us will perform our royal duties at the same time. We'll spread the magic of friendship together." Twilight cheered.

As each of the princesses left their castles, they were all staring off into space thinking about what happened to each and every one of them over the years. First, Celestia and Luna thought of the days they saw the Tree of Harmony, defeated Discord, Nightmare Moon being banished to the moon, and them being reunited after a thousand years. Second, Twilight thought of the days of her being excepted into Princess Celestia's School for Gifted Unicorns, her days of studying magic, her first study of the magic of friendship, and her becoming a princess. And lastly, Cadance thought of days when she was Twilight's foal sitter, marrying Twilight's brother, moving to the Crystal Empire, and now she has a baby on the way. For about eleven months Cadance had carefully cared for the foal within her. She'll be due in four weeks and she just can't wait for the baby to be born. Twilight had thought about the baby too. So did Celestia and Luna.

The guards stopped at a special meeting place at the train station which was enough to snap the sun and moon princesses back to reality. Twilight came up to them waiting for the crystal train to come. The whitsle blew. The train came fast squeaking its wheels for it to stop loud enough to hurt the ponies ears. The crystal guards marched out slowly as the door opened. The princesses gasped in delight as Princess Cadance came out with her beautiful glowing belly with the precious foal within her fully grown ready to be born at a moment's notice.

"Cadance my dear you look so beautiful with your little one just waiting to see the world."

"I agree thou look so lovely with thy babe just preparing for its birth."

"Just look at you Cadance your glowing."

"I just can't wait for the baby either. I really want it to be a surprise."

Cadance gave her three princesses the tightest hug she can; not hurting the foal within her. They broke out of their embrace and stood in silence for a little while.

Twilight finally spoke. "I just can't wait to spend the whole day with the three of you."

"Twilight, I hope we have the most wonderful day helping those who are in need of our services."

"So, what are we waiting for my sister?"

"Luna's right. Let's get going."

Celestia, Luna, Cadance, and Twilight went off to the town of Ponyville to see if any pony will be in their need of assistance. Some of those times, they knew that some ponies will be fine on their own, but they help out anyway. Some were in need of helping out on their friendship problems. Others need their help on patience.

Celestia told one of the ponies who was despairing over something that really was nothing to get upset over, "My dear loyal subject, if you take yourself a little time to take a deep breath, you'll no longer be in sorrow and the anger will be gone. Relax. Let your happy thoughts carry that anger away."

"I know for a fact myself that I too have feelings I need to get over dear one thou shall be fine."

"Whenever I get angry, I calm myself by reading a book."

"Just think of your memory of those who love you."

The pony took some deep cleansing breathes each one more calm then the last.

"Thank you Your Highnesses." The pony gave each of the princesses a kiss on the fore hoof, and he let the day continue to be happy.

The princesses were just getting ready to stop for lunch, when something caught their eye. It was a light blue Earth pony, with a blond mane and tail, blue eyes, and a glass slipper as her cutie mark, representing her talent of her art of the waltz.

The princesses noticed her helping out a small foal when she had hurt herself playing on the swing set. She had also helped a little white mouse find his family. From her actions, the princesses can see that she is a fine example of being a princess without wings and magic. For as every pony knows, a princess can be any pony, a pegasus, Earth pony, or even a unicorn. There is no wrong or even a right way to be a princess. What really counts of being a princess, is by her actions and even what's on the inside.

The princesses had decided to go see the Earth pony and talk to her.

They came up to the meadow where she was, and Celestia said to her, "Hello there."

"Hi. I'm Cinder Pony."

"I think thou have the kind of heart that makes a princess."

"Yes, you certinly have proven that an Earth pony can have the heart of a princess and still be herself."

"I believe every pony can become a princess Your Highnesses. Even the ones who feel like that they don't know where they belong. Not just the ones who have a cutie mark."

The princesses nodded in agreement acknowleging Cinder Pony that she has spoken the truth.

The princesses took Cinder Pony to a most wonderful place in all of Equestria, the statue of the Canterlot garden that represents friendship which is what they all truly believe in.

"A princess knows that she can always have friends that she can count on to help her when she feels a bit down on herself."

"Even when she has trouble realilzing on how much she has changed the lives of every pony."

"Even a princess has bad days, but she must remember to pull through."

The princesses have seen so much in the years of Equestria envolving around them as the times have passed. And through every change, they know that they have always been there for each other.

Cadance was just walking down the hallways of Canterlot Castle, when she felt a sharp pain in her body. Celestia, Luna, Twilight, and Cinder Pony heard Cadance scream.

They raced down to see her.

"It's time."

Celestia told one of the guards to find Shining Armour and meet them at the hospital.

All of the princesses waited outside of the delivery room.

"Ok Your Majesty just relax and give me one good push."

And what a good push it was when a new baby came to the world at last.

"Congratulations Your Highness, you have a princess."

"Shining Armour, it's a filly."

"Yes Cadance, we have a daughter. I love you so much."

The nurse handed the little bundle of joy to Shining. The filly was a yellow ailcorn with a purple mane and tail, and eyes like Cadance. Shining cried with tears of joy.

"Every pony you can come in."

The ponies came in to see the baby.

"Twiliy meet your neice, Aurora Armour."

Twilight let the tears escape from her face when she saw her little baby neice.

"Shining, she's beautiful."

It really was the most magical day for the ponies. Shining and Cadance welcomed a new little princess to the world that Shining had named after the dawn for she filled his life with sunshine.

All five of Twilight's friends and even Spkie came to see her. She really does fill pony's lives with sunshine.
