There are ponies in this world who are able to accomplish the most remarkable of tasks.

And there are ponies in this world who watch them do so.

The ponies who watch them can be entirely fueled by envy, or they could see these ponies as an inspiration, which can be rare.

Scootaloo is a perfect example of a pony who sees another pony as an inspiration and idol.

She remembered how Rainbow Dash won a race against another pegasus who had mocked her, and doubted her abilities. She ran up and hugged her, with all of her might. And after that, whenever she went outside in the cold of winter, she wouldn't feel herself freezing, for her heart was warm. She also remembered a phrase that Rainbow Dash had told her after the race, when Scootaloo had called her a hero. "Not all heros wear capes, squirt. But my cape is always with you, no matter what." She had saved this quote in her heart, like it was her very own sacred treasure.

She even thought of it, when she was trotting home in the dead of winter, when she knew that her mother would presumably yell at her for arriving late. But she didn't care, because she knew Rainbow Dash loved her, and that was all she needed.

But, when Rainbow Dash leaves Scootaloo alone with her friends and unpleasant mother, can she find somepony else to connect to?
