Celestia polished her sword and put on her battle armor she had just gave birth to her daughter two months ago and now The Crystal Empire is now taken over by an evil unicorn dictator named King Sombra. Also the love of her love of her life and baby daddy had left never came back.
"Sister", Celestia turned around to see her sister decked out in black armor and with a sword .
"I'm sorry for all of your heartache".
"I don't need your pity Luna, We need to take back The Crystal Empire. It isn't your fault the father left me".
Celestia walked over to a pink crib in side was a adorable lavender alicorn her daughter Princess Twilight Sparkle.
"I knew that he was trouble",said Luna
"Don't you dare speak about him like that. He left me with this angel and I truly thank him for that." Celestia looked down and put a hoof to her head and sighed in grief
"Aunt Celestia and Luna may you be victorious".
Lady Starlight Glimmer came into view she was one of two ancestors of the unicorn tribe. She was related to them because the royal unicorn tribe had adopted Celestia and Luna when they were fillies. Even though Starlight could be unbearable at times. She was still better than that royal pain in the ass their nephew. Even though he was only ten years old everyone knew he is a self centered coward and forever will be. He is too petty for be part of they royal family.
"Hello niece fret not we will be victorious in this battle".
"Your majesties we need to go now", said the captain of the royal guard.
"Of course Captain Dust", said Celestia.
"Be safe!".
The princesses left the room to battle. Starlight turned around and had an evil grin.
"How about never come back",Starlight said to herself while looking at the baby alicorn.
"Hmmm tell me young princess if I get to be queen you will be blessed for me to be your guardian. Not that stupid fool Celestia and your good for nothing father".
Celestia and Luna tussled with King Sombra while their guards fought the mind controlled crystal guards.
"Tell me Celestia how does it feel to be for your love of your life to leave you and your baby.
"QUIET",Screamed Celestia as charges at the unicorn with her sword. He quickly Dodged the blow with his sword. Sombra then shot a blast of black crystal at her. It slashed into her foreleg and blood gushed out. Luna rushed to her aid and helped her up. Celestia saw outside it didn't look good for her army. "Luna we need to do that spell",Celestia said out of breath.
"What!?, said Luna she looked outside and their soldiers were not doing well and there plan to defeat Sombra failed.
Celestia teared up"Goodbye Twilight my dear".
They both stranded up and their horns glowed Sombra smiled he activated his horn. Celestia and Luna's eyes glowed white. A rainbow blast went forward Sombra he tried to block it with his magic but it was to strong. It overpowered him and he screamed in agony as his power was drained. Same with Celestia and Luna his power was being drained and transferred into them. His power was extremely dangerous to their body.
Due to the dark magic being the single source of Sombra's life his life drained and he slowly shredded into smoke then nothing. He was barely alive and banished to the cold ice. Due to all of dangerous magic overloading their bodies Celestia and Luna screamed in agony then they passed out and died.
With Celestia's last drop of life she casted one last spell making her and her sister goddesses for all eternity to still raise the sun and moon and look over her ponies.
Starlight paced back and forth waiting for the news of The Crystal Empire. The moon had rose so Starlight knew they had survived. "Dammit so much for me being queen, they're alive". Starlight snarled at the thought she would be a better ruler and mother than that fool Celestia.
"Fuck!, stupid Starlight you should of injected more of that toxic magic into that unicorn", she thought.
The doors of the throne chamber flew open Starlight put on a fake smile to greet her aunts . To her surprise she only saw Captian Dust and two other soliders badly beaten. With cuts and bruises all over them looking down as if they saw a ghost.
"Please, don't tell me that-".
"Lady Starlight we won the fight"
"Oh uh then here is my aunts?".
The soliders looked at one another Captain Dust cleared his throat.
"Celestia and Luna told us if needed they would drain Sombra's dark magic and transfer into them,but the magic was too much and dangerous,They um passed way they're gone".
Starlight tried to act shocked "but the moon how?".
"They also told us when an alicorn dies they have one last drop of life and magic desend them to the after life as goddesses. That is how the celestial bodies are still controlled. Sombra also had some magic left in him he managed to banish the Empire and the crystal ponies".
Starlight pretended to act as if she was grief stricken.
"By law Lady Starlight you are next in throne since the young alicorn daughter of Celestia is too young and to take care of her".
"I know my duty Captain Dust I will do my very best" Starlight nodded in her head. "Well my aunts are gone they're in the after life. When an alicorn decends into a god pr goddesses they lose contact with the world. I did'nt expect the banishment of an empire but I don't care,"
she thought.
As soon as Starlight Glimmer was crowned queen the religion of the two sisters was now fairly common and was made by law for it to be practiced by everypony for Queen Starlight thought it would make sure ponies wouldn't become suspicious. After that she now ruled with an iron fist and did brainwashing to many unlucky ponies including criminals,soilders,and normal citizens.
Starlight also searched for the secret of immortality even using the young princess's blood and DNA for her studies. Also for her to be an alicorn and double her powers. She tried to brainwash or control the princess but she was resistant to it. Princess Twilight's power was alot more powergul probably because of her idoit father's power in her. As the princess grew up she became a bookworm. Starlight still tried to comtrol until Princess Twilight Spearkle had enough of it.
"TWILIGHT SPARKLE!".
Twilight sighed that voice sounded all too familiar and Twilight turned around to face her Aunt.
"By sun Twilight you should be an elegant princess stallions don't like nerds!",said Queen Starlight Glimmer.
"Aunt Starlight I don't want a stallion I'm perfectly happy with how my life is now!".
"Twilight I just want you to have the best same with your Uncle Sombra",said Starlight.
Twilight rolled her eyes a few months ago The Crystal Empire had returned same with King Sombra. Turns out he didn't die just was banished to the cold ice and he had taken the empire with him. Turns out Twilight's late mother Celestia and Aunt Luna could not kill him since they did not approve of it. They gave him a fate worse than death. Alive, but frozen he couldn't do anything. Unfortunately ponies on an expedition trip were exploring the Arctic north they stumbled upon Sombra the curiosity got the best of them. They cracked the ice and it shattered. Sombra escaped and reversed the banishment spell placed upon the Crysal Empire. Questionably Starlight and Sombra fell in love then BOOM suddenly a marriage and Starlight has ring on her horn. Even though Queen Starlight rule is tough she kept peace and Sombra but he is still unbearable cruel jerk,Though he is no longer as bad as he used to be. His rule under The Crystal Empire was filled with poverty and misery. Yes, she heard the ponies missed their princesses, the rule was safe and poverty was very low.
"Maybe you just want the best for you",said Twilight Starlight Queen Starlight Glimmer glared and looked as if she was going to say something but she she hesitated.
"You know what I'm busy running a country also we're out of warm water due to your dragon doing one of his seven hour bubble baths!",said Starlight she then slammed the door.
Twilight sighed Spike then opened the door and was in his bathrobe. He looked hesitant to say something.
"Uh so um sorry about using all the hot water"said Spike.
"Don't worry about it Spike, just try not to do it again",said Twilight as she flipped to the next page in her book.
"Oh King Sombra wants you in the dining room so he can have dinner with you",said Spike.
"Of course",said Twilight.
Ever since Sombra came into the picture Twilight had dinner with him every night at 6:30 she dreaded it since Uncle Sombra had always creeped her out and he was a huge threat to Equestria. Atleast pretty much all of his Dark magic was gone.
Twilight entered the dining hall and sat awardky into the seat at the end of the table on the other side her uncle.
"Hello Uncle Sombra".
"Ah hello my neice how are you?",said Sombra.
"Uh well good".
"Hmmm so my wife told me you disrespected her about not finding a suitor, that is not expectable you disrespecting your Aunt who raised you. Or you turning down getting married which is not a choice".
Twilight bit her tongue it was best not to back talk her uncle she then bit into her sandwich. After dinner Twilight jumped into the bed and sighed under her pillow she pulled out a tattered worn picture. Twilight levitated a book into her hand and tried to do the spell in the book.
"Hope this works".
Twilight tried the spell the renew spell made the picture had the picture look new again. Twilight smiled she wondered what her mom and aunt was like she asked every pony who knew them. But whenever she asked they never really told her pretty much any information. Just that they were the former rulers and they sacrificed themselves to defeat Sombra. He would of stayed in the Ice for enternity, but some fools broke it. She wondered about them everyday but all information was wiped out about them. Some deep feeling inside her thought that Aunt Starlight Glimmer was behind it.
Starlight Gimmer and her husband King Sombra went down to the science lab kept a secret from Twilight. The lab under heavy surveillance and many scientists. The scientists did the dirty work for Starlight and Sombra to find the secret for immortality. The secret in Twilight's alicorn blood,Since much of Sombra's magic was taken he was still powerful,but not as powerful as he once was. His powerful form was gone and replaced with his old pony form. In Twilight's blood he hoped to gain back his powers. Under Twilight's nose they took blood from her.
"Well how is it going any progress or just a failure!",said Sombra.
"Well we have progress we need alicorn magic to activate the potion to activate Sombra's old powers and immortality."said one of the scientists.
"So Twilight?",said Sombra.
"No, I have a better thing the Elements of Harmony draining their power just like those those fools of princesses did to my husband!",said Starlight.
"Yes!, wonderful idea and then no pony will be able to stop us!", said Sombra
Unknown to them Twilight was behind them hiding in the vents listening to their conversation. Now knowing her Aunt and Uncle were up to no good. Unknown to Starlight Glimmer and Sombra Twilight had a book about the legendary Elements of Harmony. Thought to a myth,but to what Twilight heard she knew they existed. Twilight teleported back to her room. She knew she did the right thing to spy on her aunt and uncle to know more information. Twilight didn't know what they were planning,but she needs to research. She wasn't easily fooled and was always suspicious of her Aunt and Uncle. For the first step of her rebellion to take down her Aunt and Uncl to escape the castle.
