Shining Armor was sitting on his bed, reading books on several different spells. Twilight avoided looking at her brother, hoping that if she ignored him that he would give up, but she had no such luck.

“Twilight, please talk to me. I’m your brother and I will do everything I can to protect you and keep you happy.” Shining said, putting his foreleg around her shoulder and pulling her into a hug.

Twilight wrapped her forelegs around her brother’s chest and hugged him tightly, looking up at him. “My stallionfriend dumped me for one of my supposed friends. I thought he was different than that. I loved him very much and I thought he felt the same, but I guess he was just using me to pass on time.” She said as a tear rolled down her cheek, followed by a long stream.

“I am always going to be here for you sis, whenever you need someone to talk to, a shoulder to cry on, or anything else; I will always be here.” Shining said, wiping the tears from her eyes with his hoof.

“But you’re my brother. There are some things we just can’t do together.” Twilight stated, although, her words didn’t line up with her thoughts. She had always had a slight attraction to her brother. Okay, maybe slight is an understatement, but it never got the best of her.

“Like what, Twily? I know I’ll be here to do anything for you, anything and everything you’ll ever need.” Her brother said, feeling her mane with his hoof.
