It all started years ago, on the other universe, my aunt, Sunset Shimmer, to tell you the truth, we're not even related, but I like to call her that anyway because my parents trust her completely, anyway she was like the appetence of Princess Celestia, the ruler of Canterlot, she was the highest student, that until when she show Sunset a mirror, a mirror that leads to another world. Sunset curiosity leads to wanted power, so Celestia order her to be remove from the school, but when she was escorted out by the guards, she knock them out and ran into the portal, and that how our story began...
When Sunset open her eyes when she came into this world, she was amazed by the form she was in. Getting used to the new form, she was quick learner, and walking right into the road, she didn't see a car but it stop before it hit her. Sunset was scare couldn't see with it bright lights on a dark night.
"Whoa you okay" said the guy who came out of the machine and walk to here, he was wearing a black jacket and with blue hair.
"Yeah I'm alright... what is that thing" Sunset pointed at the black machine.
"What my car, you not around here aren't you."
"Yeah, I'm not, can you tell me where I am."
"Okay then..." the guy said in a weird voice, "your currently in Canterlot High School, you're new here right?"
Sunset has a genius idea, if she needs power, then she'll need help, and this guy might help him. "In fact yes, but I'm just getting use to this city, think you can show me around the city."
"Well I'm heading to some kind of band showcase, sorry..."
"Band showcase, I love music, can I come." Sunset said as she cuts him off.
"Well alright, but sit in the shotgun, cause in the back there is music stuff and another person in the back."
Sunset got up and sit in this so called shotgun, when she look behind the seat she saw bunch of cases and a little girl sitting in the edge, she was young and with beautiful blue hair. "Are you Flash Band mate?" She asked.
"No I'm not, and that's his name, Flash?"
"Yep, Flash Sentry, my big brother."
"Connie Sentry, what did I say about introducing like that." After saying that, he playfully attack her by tickling her, they both laugh, and Sunset finds it disgust, but yet for some reason she also finds it funny."
"Well since I know your name, my name is Sunset Shimmer, nice to meet you both." Connie blush when she was introduce to a new person.
"Well no time staying here, get that belt on, I don't want to be late for the showcase, I have a few other friends to get too, and they are already waiting for me."
With that, they left, Sunset look at a flyer in the car, it reads "Band Showcase, show us the best band you are! Best Band get $1000!!!" Sunset was amaze with the amount she saw. She knew what to do.
As Flash left the school and took Sunset with him, he thought in his mind of how in the world will he and his friends will win the cash prize. As he and his three friends plan to split the prize if they do, but so many other band are going to preform there anyway. so like to say about 1 in 100 chances they will win.
"Flash when will mommy return home." Connie asked with a worry face. "It's been months since I saw her."
"What are you talking about, it's only been two days." Flash said with a small laugh.
"Oh yeah, oops."
"Well mother called and she said that there has been change in schedule, the plane has been cancel due to some idiot who has been biting people all over the place, so mother is going to take the bus.
"So her original ride was cancel because of some po..." Sunset stops herself before finishing the sentence, "... I mean uhh... guy biting people."
"Yeah well, the people who been bitten has either been having massive headache, motion sickness, hungry all the time, or all of the above, but thankfully she was sitting not in the very back of the plane." Flash said.
As Flash was driving around the corner, he saw a long line of cars to the Band Showcase, so he look around, just waiting till he can park somewhere, when he look at Sunset Shimmer, she was looking at outside, he can tell she was amaze by looking but what? Sunset wasn't like any other girls he meant.
"So why did you move to Canterlot High School." He ask.
"Umm... oh so uhh... so I can visit some place new, it isn't like everyday you can visit ne places, beside my old school was nothing more but crap, so I moved away." Sunset answer
"Seems risky."
"Ehh. I tried to ask my mentor to teach me something important, but yet she refuses."
"What was important"?
"Oh..." Sunset was lost in mind and didn't even think about what she said. "It's this very hard... math problem."
"Math, you left school because of math..." Flash said in a disappointed voice. "...sound like that's the worst excuse I've ever hear of."
"Yeah, then why are you here for"?
"Because me and my friends just want to be in this, at least this is a better excuse." Flash said with a small laugh.
"Yeah, yeah."
With that Flash final drove his car the lot where his friends were waiting for him, when he got there, Sunset help Flash and his friends to drop-off the items he has.
"So the seating is over there, thanks again for everything Sunset Shimmer."
"Alright I'll see you tomorrow at school."
"Tomorrow is Sunday."
"Monday then."
"Alright then."
With that, they both left their separate ways, Flash Sentry and Connie Sentry left to practice with the team, and Sunset Shimmer look around the showcase, maybe there is power somewhere in the showcase, you just don't know where it can show up.
