Flying Through Clouds

CLANG CLANG "What in Equestria?.." Soarin asked himself as he opened the door to his room "YA BETTER DARN TOOTIN WAKE UP AND DO YER CHORES THOSE APPLE AREN'T GONNA BUCK THEMSELVES" somepony screamed as Applejack went down the hallway "sorry for the screamin', it's just typical Granny" Applejack said as she went down the staircase "Well that was unpleasant" Soarin thought to himself he wanted to go find breakfast so he opened the window on the right side of the halls and flew outside

"Hmm...I wonder who the guests are oh well " Rainbow thought to herself as she went flying around and began gaining speed

"What's that whistling noise" Soarin thought "Meh probably just the wind" he thought as he began gaining speed

"What's that?...Meh probably just a cloud" Rainbow thought

"Is that somepony else" he thought "OH SHIT!"he said as he tried to put on the brakes but he was going too fast

"Huh? Is that somepony else?" Rainbow thought "IT IS!!!" She quickly realized trying to put on the brakes but failed and crashed into Soarin and they luckily landed on a cloud nearby. Soarin landing on the right and Rainbow on the left "Rrrgh" Rainbow groaned and stood up looking aroung for who she crashed into as she found Soarin and rushed over to help him not realizing it was Soarin at all sice she couldonly see his back "Are you alright?" she asked still unaware it was him "So sorry I wasn't looking where I was going" she said as she extended her hoof to help him get up he took it and Dash helped him up "I'm quite alright" Soarin said as he stood up "Wait a sec... YOU'RE SOARIN OF THE WONDERBOLTS OH CELESTIA,  I AM SO SORRY I CRASHED INTO YOU ID DIDN'T EVEN KNOWIT WAS YOU I THOUGHT YOU WERE A CLOUD AND-" Dash was cut off by Soarin as he said "Woah,woah hold on its okay and you thought I was a cloud?" he asked raising an eyebrow and smirking "How could you mistake my devilish good looks for a cloud" he asked and Dash said "Hmmm nope you look like a cloud and I can see you're as soft as one, alright" Dash said "HEY, I'm not soft I can be tough" Soarin said "OoOoO yeah right" Dash said "Hey, I'm a Wonderbolt y'know" he said proudly "Nope you're too soft Wonderbolt imposter alarm" Dash said "Okay ,okay since you know my name what's your name" he asked "I'm Rainbow Dash, we met twice, once at the Grand Galloping Gala and the other in the Canterlot Wedding" Dash replied "Oh so you're the mare whi saved my pie and tge mare whi danced with me" Soarin stated "Yup" Dash said "Watcha doin' in Ponyville are your squadmates in town too?"Dash aked " Oh we're on vacation and yes they are here" Soarin said "Are you the guests Twilight are supposed to organize your vacation here?" She aked again "Yup" he replied "Y'know her" He asked "I'm her close friend and believe me she loves books heck she even lives in a library its boring but at least I can borrow her Daring Do books anytime I want" She replied "You like Daring Do? I do to!" He said "Really? Have you read bok 1, Daring Do and the Griffon's Goblet" Dash asked " Yeah it was so awesome I got interested by even reading the title by the way I'm hungry you know where I can get breakfast?I'm hungry" Soarin said "Sure" Dash said as she read the clock "It's 7 so Sugarcube corner must be open by now" Dash said "Sugarcube corner?" He pondered "Best sweet shop in town they also sell the best apple pie in town made by the sweetest apples of sweer apple acres ,I'm guessing that's where you're staying" Dash gave him the information "Oh yeah that's right. Do you know AJ and Pinkie Pie?" Soarin asked "Yeah I do great friends of with them too" Dash replied. "Geez are you friends with everypony in  Equestria or something?" Soarin asked joking fly as Dash chuckled and said "Well c'mon lets go if you ever want breakfast" she said getting ready to fly

They weren't too far from sugarcube corner it was a fly that lasted for only 5 minutes. Dash opened the door to Sugarcube Corner as Pinkie rushed up to her and started jumping on one spot and said energetically "Hiya Dashie, how are you?I'm feeling super amazing because I made some new friends. Hiya, Soarin. Dashue he's one of them and he's a--" Pinkie was cut off by Dash putting her hoof in Pinkie's mouth and said "Pinkie, I know". "Oh okay then what'll it be?" Pinkie asked "Ask him not me, I'm just showing his way around Ponyville" Rainbow replied "So what'll it be?" Pinkie asked Soarin jumping pulling a yellow and pink apron with a heart on the middle "Ummm.. I'll have a slice of apple pie" Soarin replied "Okey-dokey-lokey give me a second" Pinkie said. It litteraly only took Pinkie one second to make a slice of apple pie. "This is on the house" Pinkie returned to the counter happily jumping up and down making noises like a spring "Ummm... How does she do that?" Soarin asked Rainbiw Dash and she sighed saying "I stopped wondering years ago, now I'm gonna go". "Nope you're staying with me we just met I wanna know more about you. Plus I don't know my way back to Sweet Apple Acres" Soarin said as Dash snickered "Seriously, you don't know your way back? Y'know what sure I'll stay with you" Dash said

"You should meet Spitfire I'm sure she'll be happy to meet you" Soarin said "and you should meet Fleetfoot she's a racket". "Sure, they sound great" Dash said as Soarin opened the door and said "Mares first" trying to use a Canterlot accent "I'm not that kind of mare"Dash said going through the door as Soarin went ou of it too.
