Chapter 2: Meeting the princesses of Canterlot castle.
Rarity hums as she finished drying up Toriel's robe. Toriel hums as well. She hums a happy little tune as she carefully walks down the stairs. Downstairs, the other five ponies had been browsing Rarity's current inventory. As Toriel steps off the last step, she looks at the ponies and notices a peculiar pink pony stare at her with a wide smile. The pink pony waves with a smile so wide, Toriel was scared if she smiled any further, her jaw would snap. Toriel waves back. The others began to notice her and waved as well. Rainbow walked over.
"H-Hey..." She said nervously. Toriel looks at Rainbow.
"Hello." She said. Toriel could see that Rainbow is blushing and rubbing the back of her neck with a hoof.
"So uh...how are things?" Rainbow asked. Toriel smiles.
"Things are just fine, thanks for asking." She said.
"I feel really bad I hit you...I thought you hurt my friend and my instincts just triggered and I guess I lost control..." Rainbow said.
"You know, Rainbow was it, you remind me of Undyne." Toriel said.
"Undyne?" Rainbow asked. Toriel nods.
"Yes Undyne. She is one of the royal guards where I came from, a bit of a hothead if you asked me. Always wearing that big bulky armor." She said. Rainbow giggles slightly.
"Her armor is kind of like my ego! Which can be a bad things at times..." She said. Toriel smiles and looks around. She sees Rarity look over her robe, which is clean, as if think of something.
"So Twilight told us you came from underground?" Rainbow asked. Rarity notices Toriel looking at her, and waves with a sweet smile.
"I'm almost done, darling." She said. Toriel waves back at Rarity and looks back at Rainbow. She nods.
"I did come from underground. I lived in a house in some ruins." Toriel said.
"Where from?" Rainbow asked.
"Well, we didn't have any names for where we're from." Toriel said. A orange yellow pony wearing a hat walks up to Toriel.
"So Twi also told us you came here from some message attached to a tiara like hers?" The pony asked. Toriel looks at the pony and nods.
"Yes." She said.
"H-how did you get supplies to even surive?" A yellow shy pegasus asked.
"Yeah, and why were you there in the first place? I assume somepony forced you to live there since nopony decides to live underground." Rainbow said.
"Well, I lived with monsters where I'm from. They made a pretty good living, opening up shops, restaurants, and even a bake sale that is owned by Mrs. Muffet. As for being forced to live down there. I wasn't forced to live down there. I lived down there my entire life." Toriel said.
"And I'm gonna guess there was a war between monsters and the humans in which the humans won the war, and exiled the others to the confinement of the ruins in which you lived till you came here because of a magical message!?" The pink pony yelled. Toriel was quite shocked at the pink pony.
"Yes, how did you know?" She asked. The hat wearing pony chuckles with a small roll of her eyes, giving a soft punch to he pink pony's right foreleg.
"Pinkie Pie here can guess things on a whime without knowing a thing!" She said. Toriel shakes her head.
"Anyway, everyone was happy where I lived." She said.
"What about Frisk?" Pinkie pie asked. Toriel suddenly gasps and starts to panic.
"Oh, no, no, no, no, no, no, no!" She yelled. She runs towards the front door, only to trip and fall on her face halfway there. Pinkie pie looks confused.
"What's wrong with her?" She asked.
"Don't know." The hat wearing pony said. She wakes up to Toriel and helps her up. "Is...Frisk somepony you know?" She asked.
"I... I nearly forgot about her! She is a human who stayed the longest when she stayed with me before she left to get out of the underground. I... I'm worried, she may be hurt, or injured, or worse!" Toriel yelled, panicking again. The pony that helped her up put a hoof on her shoulder.
"Hey, hey, don't go panicing on us. I'm sure she'll be okay." She told Toriel. Toriel looks at the hat wearing pony with a sad look.
"Thank you, Miss um..." She said.
"Applejack." The hat pony said, smiling at Toriel. Toriel slightly smiles back.
"Thank you." She said.
"No problem." Applejack said, patting Toriel's back. "Was this frisk like a daughter to you?" She asked.
"Well, yes and no. She did feel like a daughter to me when she stayed with me before she left." Toriel said.
"I hope she's okay." Applejack said. Toriel nods.
"I hope so too, she did prove herself worthy of taking care of herself." She said. Rarity trots over to the small group of ponies with a smile, carrying Toriel's rob in her magic.
"Here's your robe, dear!" She said happily. Toriel looks at the robe and smiles. She takes it with her magic.
"Thank you, Rarity." Toriel thanked. Rarity nods.
"No problem." She said, smiling up at Toriel. Toriel slips the robe on and sighs in happiness, then she remembers.
"Oh, I need to pay you for this Rarity. But..... I don't have any money." She said, looking down slightly.
"Dear, Your robe was an absoelut mess! you're lucky it didn't get stained. I just couldn't bear to allow you to wear such filthy garments!" Rarity said with disgust, smiling sweetly. "You needn't worry about your budget, or the lack of it really. But, there are MANY jobs in Ponyville you could try to get into, or start your own!" She said. Toriel puts a hoof to her chin and thinks.
"Well, I always wanted to be a teacher." She said.
"Oh! Mrs. cheerilee could possibly hire you as a substitue for when she can't work!" Rarity said. Toriel puts her hoof down and smiles.
"I could do that." She said. As she looks around, she noticed that a certain purple alicorn was missing. "Huh? Where's Twilight?" She asked.
"Oh, she had to leave in a hurry for some reason. She spoke so fast all I heard was letter and Celestia." Rarity said. Toriel tilts her head in confusion.
"Celestia?" She asked.
"Oh! The lead princess of Equestria." Rarity said.
"Ahh, ok." Toriel said. She was about to speak again, when the door suddenly opens and Twilight walks in alongside what looks like a lizard.
"Hi! I'm back I just had to send a letter to Celestia about our new friend!" Twilight yelled, smiling at Toriel.
"That was quick." Toriel said.
"Just like how she lead us to defeat Nightmare Moon in no time at all." Applejack said. Toriel looks down at the lizard.
"And who might this be?" She asked.
"Oh, this is Spike! I've had him since he hatched! I was just a filly. I hatched him actually." Twilight said, hugging spike.
"So technically, you'll be his mother, since you hatched him." Toriel stated. Twilight's eyes widen.
"Oh no, no, no, no! He didn't come from me! I just used a magical spell to make his egg hatch! But he is like a son to me." She said, nuzzling spike.
"Awe, come on Twilight, you know I don't like all this mushy lovey dovey stuff!" Spike complained. Toriel smiles slightly.
"That's cute." She said.
"Please, mom." Spike said." Twilight giggles and let's him go.
"You called me mom." She said.
"I...I didn't mean it." Spike said. He crosses his arms and looks away.
"Awww." Toriel said. Spike looks down. Twilight kisses him on the head. Spike turns to look at Twilight.
"You...you kissed me..." He said.
"Kind of hard to when you don't like all the mushy stuff." Twilight said, smirking at him. Spike rolls his eyes. Toriel smiles at the sight. Suddenly, Spike burps and fire shoots out of his mouth, forming a scroll.
"Oooh! I wonder what it says!" Twilight said happily. She takes it in her purple magic and began reading.
"Well? What's it say?" Rainbow asked after a few moments. Toriel walks closer slightly, intrigued at what she saw.
"It says that the princesses would like to see you, and they have dispatched a chariot to pick us up." Twilight said. Toriel shakes her head.
"Wait, princesses, as in more then one?" She asked.
"Yeah. There's me, Princess Celestia, Princess Luna, and Priness Cadence." Twilight said.
"Oof, must be hard to be a princess." Toriel said.
"Yeah, it can be hard." Twilight said.
"I wonder what Asgore is doing." Toriel muttered.
"Who is he?" Twilight asked. Toriel looks at Twilight.
"Hmm?" She asked.
"Who is this Asgore?" Twilight asked.
"I thought I told you about him before I took a shower. But if not, then he's the king of the underground." Toriel said.
"Heh heh, oh yeah..." Twilight said in embarrassment, blushing slightly. Toriel smiles slightly. Suddenly, a shadow appeared over the building.
"Huh? What was that?" She asked.
"Probably Discord with his tricks." Twilight said in a bemused manner. She goes back outside, but only to return with two guards wearing golden armor. "Nevermind! It's just our ride! Come on Toriel!" She said. She goes back out to the chariot. The two guards stay to wait for Toriel.
"This way, your highness." They said, noticing that Toriel is a alicorn. Toriel walks out of the store and outside. The guards lead her to the chariot and helped her in before going back to the front, getting ready to take off.
"You'll love the castle!" Twilight said happily. Toriel looks at Twilight.
"You'll think so?" She asked. She looks around and sees other ponies look at the chariot. "And if I may ask, how will we get there?" She asked again.
"They fly us. Now let's go!" Twilight said. The guards noded and took off into the air.
"Woaaaaaaah!" Toriel screamed as the wind whipped around her.
"Faster!" Twilight commanded and the guards obeyed as they turned towards a large castle in the distance. Toriel grips the side of the chariot with a strong grip and breaths heavily.
"You okay? We're hardly even moving!" Twilight said. Toriel let's go and takes deep breaths.
"Sorry, it just surprised me, that's all." She said.
"It happens to everypony on their first time who hasn't flown." Twilight stated. She tilts her head at Toriel.
"Have you never flown before? You DO have wings you know." She said. Toriel shakes her head.
"I've never flown before." She said.
"How come?" Twilight asked.
"I lived underground and hardly left my house, except to save those humans." Toriel said.
"That would explain it." Twilight said. "But I'm sure Rainbow Dash wouldn't have a problem helping you learn to fly." She said. Toriel smiles.
"I wouldn't mind that at all." She said.
"And since I'm the second most powerful being in Equestria when it comes to magic, I can teach you all I can how to use your magic!" Twilight said happily.
"Thank you, Twilight." Toriel said.
"And I'm sure the princesses will try to find where you came from and try to send you back." Twilight said. Toriel smiles at the thought.
"I would like to go back." She said.
"I'm sure you must miss Firsk, huh?" Twilight asked. Toriel nods.
"I do." She said.
"I'm sure you'll see her soon." Twilight said, patting Toriel's back. Toriel smiles.
"Thank you again, Twilight." She said.
"That's what friends are for." Twilight said. Toriel nods and notices that they were nearing a castle that seems to be built on the side of a mountain.
"Oooh! We're almost there!" Twilight said happily. Toriel stares at the castle with amazement.
"Wow." She said.
"Yeah, the biggest highlight in all of Equestria. To think thre are only four ponies to rule over billions!" Twilight said.
"That's... That's quite impressive." Toriel said.
"It is!" Twilight said. She giggled as they came to land in front of the castle, where there were four more guards, being unicorns, were waiting for them.
"This way." The guards said in unison, with emotionless expressions. Toriel steps off the chariot and follows the guards. Twilight walks alongside Toriel, with two guards to either side of the pair.
"I'm gonna miss you when you leave, Toriel. But I hope your stay here with us. Down in ponyville to be exact." She said. Toriel looks at Twilight. She was about to say something, when she tripped over something and fell. Twilight screeches slightly.
"Toriel! Are you alright? Darn over turned tile!" She yelled. She glared at one of the white bricks on the side walk as one end of it stuck up out of the rest. "Here, let me help you." She said. she lit her horn and lifted Toriel with her magic. Toriel shakes her head.
"Thank you." She said. Twilight nods with a smile.
"Let's continue shall we?" She asked. Toriel nods.
"Yes." She said. Twilight smiles and resumes walking. Toriel follows behind Twilight. Twilight slows so she walks alongside Toriel. Toriel looks around, amazed with the details of the castle.
"I'm sure the princesses will like you. Celestia is the open type of pony who is willing to be friends with anypony! Luna is more skeptical, and can be hard to get to if you don't make a good first impression. Now Cadence is a very sincere, and caring pony. I'm sure she'll like you." Twilight said. Toriel looks at Twilight.
"Seems like Celestia sounds just like me." She said.
"Great! I'm sure you two will get along just fine! but, if you get on her bad side...you don't wanna know..." Twilight said, shuddering a little bit. Toriel laughs slightly.
"Yep, sounds just like me." She said.
"Eh, you two must be related then!" Twilight laughed. Twilight laughs hysterically as the guards lead them down many halls and up several flights of steps. Toriel looks at Twilight with a confused look.
"I'm kidding! That can't be possible! Faust only had two children! Celestia and Luna!" Twilight yelled. Toriel raises a eyebrow.
"Faust?" She asked.
"What?" Twilight asked, shocked.
"Nothing, nothing." Toriel said.
"Okay. This conversation got a little weird, didn't it?" She asked as they came to a large door, which the guards opened for them.
"Right through her your highness." They ordered. Twilight rolls her eyes.
"I think I know my way around the place." She said, smiling at Toriel as she walked in. Toriel follows Twilight into a vast room. Toriel could see two alicorns sitting on thrones. She could see a white alicorn with a slightly rainbow like mane. Toriel knew that this must be Celestia. Princess Celestia smiled from her throne on the other side of the room as she stood and slowly approached.
"Ah, Twilight! Is this the friend you told me about? Toriel was it?" She asked, looking at Toriel, her voice was kind, yet powerful. Toriel nods.
"I am. And are you Princess Celestia?" She asked. Celestia nods and looks back to a slightly shorter, dark blue alicorn.
"Lulu! Come meet our guest!" She said.
"Oh...yeah." The dark blue alicorn said, approaching shyishly. "Hi there. I'm Princess Luna. Celestia's sister." She said. Toriel bows.
"Its an honor." She said.
"You're an alicorn. How can that be?" Celestia asked.
"Before, I didn't look like this." Toriel said. Celestia was a little taken back from the statement.
"Wh-what do you mean?" She asked. Toriel tells them about what she looked like before, where she lived and how she lived there all her life, about the underground, about King Asgore, about Frisk and how she took care of her before she left, about the six human souls that Asgore kept to break a barrier that held the monsters back from entering the surface, and ending it where she found the tiara that Twilight said was a duplicate and ended up here. Celestia nodded her head now and again to Toriel's several points.
"I'd assume you miss your home?" She asked. Toriel looks down with sadness.
"I do. But, I've never been this happy before, except when I was taking care of Frisk." She said. Celestia sighs.
"I would send you back if I could." She said. Toriel tilts her head in confusion.
"What do you mean "if I could?"" She asked.
"By what you tell me I an only assume you aren't from Equstria." Celestia said. Toriel nods. "Well, It was magic that sent you here, so maybe I can try to sniff out the trace and see if I can pinpoint where you came from." Celestia said. Toriel smiles.
"Thank you." She said happily. Celestia smiles. Toriel looks around and sees stained glass windows. She walks towards them and sees that they are pictures.
"These aren't just windows." Celestia said.
"They tell stories of the past." Luna said. Toriel looks back at Celestia and Luna.
"The past?" She asked. Celestia nods.
"Hundreds of years." She said. Toriel looks back at the Windows with amazement.
"Wooow." She said.
"Most of the windows in the castle tell a story. Hardships we've overcome, joys we've had, special ponies to remember." Twilight said.
"Anything you can think of." Celestia said, smiling. Luna looks at one of the windows and looks down with a sad expression. Toriel sees a window with a alicorn that looks like Luna but different looking. She looks at Luna.
"Hey Luna, that looks..." She stopped when she sees Luna's expression. "I'll... just skip that one." She said.
"Yeah let's skip that one..." Celestia said.
"No...she deserves to know. It's the whole point of these windows, is to tell their stories." Luna said. She looks at Toriel. "You see, I wasn't always a kind mare...I tried to overthrow Clestia. Over a thouand years ago. Nopony liked my night, being the princess of it, and I became angered, and turned into...that. " She said, pointing at the window. "Nightmare Moon." She said. Toriel was quite shocked.
"It was hard for everypony." Celestia said sadly.
"Especially Tia." Luna sniffed.
"I had to banish her to the moon. For a thousand years sadly. Being my only close relative, and only pony to talk to...it was very depressing." Celestia sniffed.
"All because I was so selfish..." Luna said. She looks down as a tear slips from her eye. Toriel places a hoof of Luna. Luna looks at Toriel. "You are a kind pony, Toriel. Please don't make the same mistake I once did..." She sniffed. Toriel looks at Luna with kindness, then pulls her into a hug. Luna is shocked, but hugs back.
"Thank you, kind Toriel. Your generosity shall not be forgotten." She said, smiling. Toriel looks at her.
"No one should go through the pain that you went through." She said.
"It wasn't me. It was Tia who suffered the most..." Luna said.
"It must have been hard for both of you." Toriel said. Celestia nods. Toriel smiles as well. Suddenly, her stomach growled.
"Hungry?" Celestia asked. Toriel slightly blushes and nods.
"Twilight, take out friend to the dinning hall would you?" Celestia asked.
"Yes, ma'am!" Twilight anwered cheerily with a determined face.
"Lead the way Twilight." Toriel said. Twilight nods with a smile and trots out of the throne room. Toriel follows behind her. Twilight motions for Toriel to trot at her side rather than behind her.
"I can't talk to you when you're back there!" She said. Toriel nods and picks up the pace, walking beside Twilight. Twilight slows down a bit for her as well. "So, how do you like the castle?" She asked.
"It's very impressive, as impressive as King Asgore's castle." Toriel said.
"Hm. I shall hope to see this Asgore's castle!" Twilight said with glee.
"Minus the room with the human souls, you just might." Toriel said.
"Souls?" Twilight asked.
"The five human souls that he collected, that I told you about." Toriel said.
"Oh, yeah..." Twilight said in embarrassment. Toriel slightly laughs, when something caught her eye. She looks and sees a door that it open. She walks towards the door curiously. Twilight doesn't seem to notice and keeps going. Toriel walks inside and looks around in amazement.
"It looks like a library." She said. She looks around and sees all sorts of books. But a certain piece confused her. It was a mirror with tubes and coils coming out of it and a book with a red and yellow sun on it above it. "A mirror?" She asked. after a minute she finally realizes Toriel is no longer at her side.
"Toriel?" She asked. She seemed confused as she began to back track in search of the foriegn alicorn. Toriel walks up to the mirror and sees her reflection. She raises a hoof and touches the mirror. She expected her hoof to touch glass but instead it went through and instead of a hoof, a hand was in its place. It looked like her hand before she came to equestria. She backs up, slightly scared, only for he legs to slip off the edge of the stairs and fall backwards away from the mirror. She screams as she fell. Toriel lands on her back on the ground with a thud.
"Ow." She moaned. Twilight hears the scream.
"Toriel!?" She yelled. She got worried and runs off in the direction in which she heard the scream come from. She came to the library where the door stood wide open. Twilight hears a thud and goes to investigate.
"Toriel?" She asked. Toriel stands back up and sees Twilight standing in the doorway. Twilight peers in. "Toriel? What are you doing in here?" She asked. She goes to help her up. "You fall a lot, did you know that?" She said.
"Sorry, Twilight, it's just that I saw this door open and I was curious. But if I may, what's up with this mirror?" Toriel asked as she walked back up to it, starring at her reflection.
"Oh, that mirror leads to a world parallel to ours!" Twilight said. Toriel noticed that Twilight was standing next to her. Her eyes widen.
"Wait, this mirror leads to the human world?" She asked.
"I don't know if its the same world, though." Twilight said.
"That's... that's quite interesting." Toriel said in amazement.
"I only go through there if my Canterlot High friends are in trouble. Lately there's been nothing." Twilight said. Toriel looks at her.
"Wait, you have friends over there?" She asked. Twilight nods.
"Human counter parts of my pony friends here. Like Luna and Celestia! Only Celestia is the principle of a school, not the world leader." She said. Toriel was about to say something, when there was a flash of light and something heavy slammed into both of them, sending them into the mirror.
"AGHH!!" Twilight screamed.
"YAAAAH!!!!!" Toriel screamed.
"AAAAAAAAH!!!!" A third voice yelled. Twilight lands outisde of the portal with a thud on the sidewalk. Toriel lands outside of the portal with a thud on the sidewalk as well.
"Ooof!" She said. A voice very familiar to Toriel moaned. Twilight rubs her head with her hand.
"Ugh...what happened?" She asked. Toriel moans.
"Ugh, something is on top of me." She moaned. Twilight looks to see a large form with a cape and a helmet with horns opun his head. The form moans again. The form rolls off Toriel. Toriel stands up and looks at her self. She could see that she looks like herself. She then looks at the form that was on top of her and gasps. Twilight tries to use her magic to push the being off Toriel, but comes to the sudden epiphany her horn is gone.
"Oh, yeah..." She said, facepalming. Toriel stares at the form. Twilight stands up.
"What is it?" She asked. The form moans and opens eyes. It turns it's head and looks at Toriel.
"T-Toriel?" The form asked.
"A-Asgore?" Toriel asked.

Toriel stares in shock at Asgore.
"A-Asgore!?" She yelled. Asgore gasped in shock
"Toriel!" He yells. Toriel narrows her eyes and crosses her arms.
"What are you doing here?" She asked with anger. Asgore looks down.
"I'd rather not talk about it. what are you doing here?" He asked. Toriel rolls eyes and looks away.
"Pffh." She huffed.
"What?" Asgore asked, confused. Toriel looks back at him.
"I'm just surprised that you're here. The last time I saw you, you were taking care of you're golden flowers." She said.
"It's uh...a rather long story I'd rather not go through the embarrasment of telling how I got here...where ever HERE is." He said.
"A human world filled with human versions of ponies." Toriel said.
"Really? Huh...weird.." Asgore said.
"And you knocked us here." Twilight said. Toriel nods in agreement with Twilight, when she heard a voice yell Twilight's name.
"Wha?" Twilight asked. She looks in the direction of which the sound if her name being called came from. Toriel looks as well and sees five girls heading their direction, a girl with a familiar pink hairdo waving. Twilight smiles and approaches them.
"Hey girls!" She said happily as they pulled her into a group hug.
"What are ya doin here!?" A girl that must have been Applejack asked.
"Yeah, it's been forever and ever since you were last here, and we all missed you!" Pinkie said.
"Well as nice as it is to see you guys, it wasn't my intent to come here." Twilight said, blushing.
"So why are you here then?" A girl that looks like Rainbow said.
"Well, me and my friend were knocked through the portal by accident." Twilight said. Toriel walks towards the girls. Asgore follows. Toriel stands next to Twilight, towering over them all. The five girls stare up at toriel. Toriel waves hello to the girls as Asgore stands next to her, at the same height.
"Woah! you two are so tall!" Pinkie yelled. Toriel shrugs and looks at Asgore and notices that he's wearing his bulky armor.
"You never take that thing off, do you." She asked.
"Nope!" Asgore said. Toriel facepalms and sighs, shaking her head.
"Same as you've held you grudge against me, so, fair game." He said, chuckling sarcastically.
"Touche." Toriel said.
"I also believe I haven't recieved my hug yet." Asgore said. Toriel crosses her arms and looks away.
"This is getting awkward..." Twilight said. Asgore pulls Toriel into a warm hug. Toriel doesn't hug back, still having her arms crossed.
"I love you." Asgore said, holding her gently in his arms. Rainbow have a look of disgust.
"Well...uh..we see y'all are busy an whatnot, so we'll just be going..." Applejack said. Toriel doesn't say anything, but has a slight look of anger on her face.
"Come on, for old times sake." Asgore said, nuzzling Toriel's cheek.
"No." Toriel said.
"Why not, my queen?" Asgore asked. Toriel looks at him.
"Don't, call me your queen, not after you took those human souls." She said.
"What if I gave them back?" Asgore asked.
"How, how would you give them back when monsters like us couldn't get through the barrier blocking us from reaching the surface?" Toriel asked.
"I don't know...but at least im willing to. I just want you back." Asgore said. The girls all had awkward faces as the walked away.
"I would only stay with Frisk is she came back to me." Toriel said, looking away.
"Ah, Frisk. Sweet little girl, but she's moved on." Asgore said. Toriel looks back at him with anger.
"Did you kill her. Because so help me if you did!" She yelled.
"No! Of course not!" Asgore said. Toriel's anger slightly subsides, but still shows it on her face. Asgore holds Toriel closer, softly rubbing her head. Toriel sighs.
"I'm still not going back to you." She said.
"Can I at least have a hug, my love?" He asked.
"Not right now." Toriel said. Asgore continues to hug Toriel.
"Asgore, please, why are you here?" She asked. Asgore sighs and looks down.
"I wish not to talk about it..." He said.
"Not only that, what's up with this I hear from Toriel that you absorbed human souls?" Twilight asked. Toriel looks at Twilight.
"He collected the souls in special containers." She said.
"What for?" Twilight asked, looking sternly at Asgore.
"None of your business." Asgore said, crossing his arms. Toriel looks sternly at Asgore, then back at Twilight.
"He kept the souls so that he can break the barrier that's blocking us from going to the surface. But he didn't have to collect five human souls, he could have done it with just one." She said, glaring at him. Asgore scoffs.
"Wow...I don't know what to say." Twilight said in shock.
"Let's just say, that he's also afraid of the humans as well, since they hurt him." Toriel said.
"He got what he deserves then." Twilight said, crossing her arms. Toriel shakes her head.
"He only went to the surface, when something horrible happened to us." She said.
"And that was...?" Twilight asked.
"The humans locked us away underground. So, Tori, you haven't explained how you ended up here." Asgore said.
"Just like how you won't tell me how you got here, I won't tell you." Toriel said. Asgore sighs heavily.
"Flowey." He said. Toriel looks back at him.
"What?" She asked.
"Flowey...killed me..." Asgore said. Toriel was shocked.
"H....how?" She asked. Asgore rubs his temples.
"I don't know." He said.
"I... I knew that he was evil, but not that evil." Toriel said.
"He stabbed me in the back..." Asgore said. Toriel looks down and clinches her hands into fists. Asgore looks down from embarrassment. Toriel's hands burst into flames as she looks like she wants to hit something very hard.
"T-Toriel? Are you okay?" Twilight asked, sounding scared. Toriel looks at Twilight, showing hatred in her eyes. Twilight takes Toriel's hand.
"You can tell me, Toriel. I'm your friend." She said. Toriel's expression softens and her hands cease to be on fire. She has a sad look on her face as a tear falls from her eyes.
"Flowey, used to be our son, Asriel." She said.
"I..I'm sorry to hear." Twilight said.
"This all happened when the first human came to the underground." Toriel said.
"So...Flowey is your son?" Twilight asked. Toriel nods.
"He... used to be our son... before he became Flowey." Toriel said.
"I..I'm so sorry..." Twilight said. Toriel looks down with sadness. Twilight hugs Toriel. Toriel looks at Twilight with a slight smile.
"Thank you, Twilight." She said. Twilight pats her back. Toriel smiles.
"Maybe he'll come to his senses someday." Twilight said. Toriel nods.
"Maybe Frisk shall bring him back." She said.
"Let's hope so." Twilight said. Toriel nods and notices girl with red and yellow hair walking towards them, waving.
"Hmm?" She asked.
"Twilight!" The girl yelled, coming running out of the school.
"Sunset Shimmer! Hi!" Twilight yelled, waving. Toriel tilts head in confusion.
"Huh?" She asked.
"Toriel, this is my friend Sunset Shimmer!" Twilight said.
"Hi!" Sunset shimmer said, waving with a smile at Toriel. Toriel waves back.
"Hello." She said. Sunset holds a hand out to Toriel. Toriel takes Sunset Shimmer's hand and shakes it.
"It's a pleasure to meet you." She said.
"I love the costume!" Sunset said.
"Well... these aren't costumes." Toriel said. Sunset tilts her head in confusion.
"We're not exactly from around here." Toriel said.
"I know that! I know Twilight isn't wearing a costume. I thought you were though." Sunset said, blushing in embarrassment. Twilight giggles.
"We think Toriel here came from another world." She said. Toriel nods in agreement. Sunset crosses her arms with a smirk.
"Discovered another already, huh?" She asked.
"Well, it's more like she discovered us." Twilight said. Toriel nods.
"It's true." She said.
"That's interesting! What is your species called? I'm sure Twilight already told you what we are here." Sunset said. Twilight nods.
"Well, our species were called boss monsters. Either than that, I don't know." Toriel said. Sunset raises a eyebrow.
"It's true!" Toriel said. She looks at Asgore and sees him look at the building behind them.
"Is this your castle?" Asgore asked.
"No...its the school I go to..." Sunset said. Toriel's ears perk up.
"Did I hear school?" She asked.
"Yes, you did. Why?" Sunset asked.
"She wants to become a teacher." Twilight said.
"Oh, maybe they'll hire you! First trans dimensional teacher!" Sunset said. Toriel smiles at the thought of herself teaching.
"Well come on! I don't think being from another world will affect your chances." Sunset said. She motions for Toriel to follow. Toriel looks at Asgore, and sighs.
"You can come with me if you'd like." She said. Asgore nods and follows. Toriel follows Sunset shimmer.
"This way." Twilight said as she leads Toriel down a hall to the right.
"So, Toriel, have you had any experience in teaching before?" Sunset asked.
"This place is puny and small." Asgore said. Toriel glares at Asgore, before looking at Sunset.
"Well, I taught a little bit of math to a couple of humans, either than that, not much." She said. Asgore nudges Sunset's arm.
"Any classes for teaching about snails?" He asks, smirking at Toriel.
"Well...Life science may have things about that...why?" Sunset asked.
"Toriel loves snails." Asgore said. Toriel smiles.
"Ooh yea! I had this book, my favorite book, called 72 uses for snails." She said.
"You love snails so much I bet you found a 73rd use ." Asgore said, laughing hysterically. Toriel deadpans at Asgore. Asgore ruffles her hair. Toriel shakes her head.
"Still cute as always." Asgore said. He plants a soft kiss on her cheek. Toriel blushes slightly, before shaking her head again.
"Good luck on getting that job." Asgore said.
"Awe thats nice!" Twilight said, smiling. "In here." She said, opening up a door for Toriel.
"Thank you." Toriel said, ducking a bit and entering. Sunset motions for Asgore to go in. Asgore chuckles.
"I won't fit through there." He said. Sunset shrugs.
"Okay." She said, going in after Twilight. Toriel looks at Asgore.
"If you want to come in, you have to take off that armor." She said.
"Nope!" Asgore said. Toriel facepalms and sighs in irritation.
"This is also why I'm not coming back to you." She said. Asgore feels a sting in his heart.
"Fine. Sorry for trying to change, because I love you." He said, shaking his head and leaves. Toriel places a hand on Asgore's shoulder and looks at him.
"Look, I didn't say that I don't love you. It's just... that it will take some time." She said.
"You said it yourself you won't come back to me. Now I have nothing..." Asgore sighed. He walks away, knocking his armour off as he does. Toriel runs up to Asgore.
"Wait!" She yelled.
"Leave me be, pest." Asgore said. He ignores her and walks faster. Toriel was shocked at what Asgore said.
"My whole life I've done what I could to keep you happy. I went out and fought a war to keep us monsters safe, and you safe! I failed, and we were locked underground! Then we had a little boy named Asriel who turned out to be not so sweet. Then you left me! I only took those human souls because it was they who banished us to the ruins! I only wanted to keep you and our son safe from harm! And then, my own son kills me, and I end up here in some world I know nothing about, except it's filled with HUMANS! And what a coicidance it was you were here! After so many years I just wanted to make ammends, but all you can do is brag how you will never take me back! Do you think I really needed that after being killed by my own flesh and blood!? The last thing I need is for you to have a sudden change of heart and pretend to care! My life has become a wreck, and I don't need to be taunted by the one I hold nearest to my heart!" He said, beginning to tear up. "I at least thought through everything, I'd have you and Asriel...turns out you both hate me." He said.
"Don't follow me either." He said, continuing to walk away. Toriel looks down as tears fall from her face. Sunset stood with a slightly dropped jaw, unsure of what to do. Twilight tightly hugs Toriel. Tears stream down Toriel's face as she cried.
"It's gonna be okay. Just let it out." Twilight said. She pats Toriel's back as she holds her close. Toriel bends down and picks up the armor that Asgore took off. Twilight helps to pick the pieces up.
"So...still want to go apply for a job?" She asked. Toriel sighs as she wipes the tears from her eyes.
"I...I guess." She said.
"What's wrong?" Sunset asked.
"I... I don't know if... if I will see Asgore again." Toriel sniffed.
"It really seemed like you didn't want to see him..." Sunset said.
"I do want to see him, but after taking the human souls, that's when I stopped being with him." Toriel said.
"Based on what he said, he had a good reason to." Sunset said.
"But it was one of those things hwere you do the right thing, but in the wrong way." Twilight said. Toriel looks down with sadness.
"Twilight, you get Toriel a job, and I'll go get Asgore." Sunset said. Twilight nods.
"This way, Tori." She said. She brings her to another door which she rose a hand to knock on. Toriel shakes head and has a look of determination.
"Come in!" A voice said. Twilight opens the door and walks in, motioning for Toriel to follow.
"Morning your highne-...er...principle Celestia." Twilight said. She waves as she walks in. Toriel ducks slightly and walks in.
"Twilight?" Principle Celestia asked.
"Hi! I...never planned on coming here today, but I have my friend, Toriel here, who is looking to get a job here!" Twilight said. She motions for Toriel to take a seat. Toriel sits down in a chair in front of the desk.
"I'm, surprised that your here." Principal Celestia said. She looks at Toriel. "And who may this be?" She asked.
"Toriel. And just to let you know, she's not wearing any costume. She's from another world!" Twilight said. Toriel waves hello.
"Hello!" She said. Principal Celestia was quite shocked at what Twilight said.
"Wha... what did you say?" She asked.
"Toriel isn't from here, or my world. She came to my world on accident by some magical note attached to a tiara that looked like my crown." Twilight said. Toriel nods.
"Anyway, what can I do for you both?" Principle Celestia asked.
"Go ahead and tell her." Twilight said, smiling at Toriel.
"I would like a job teaching here." Toriel said.
"Well, let's see what I have." Principal Celestia said.
"Anything specific, Tori? Like math?" Twilight asked. Toriel nods.
"Yes, anything in the math department." She said. Principal Celestia nods as she takes out some papers. Twilight pats Toriel on the shoulder. Toriel looks around and sees a poster, sponsoring something called "The friendship games."
"The friendship games?" She asked.
"Oh, it's a competition between schools. It's mainly about teamwork and making friends!" Twilight said.
"A competition, Asgore....would have... liked.....that... " Toriel said, looking down.
"I'm sorry to hear. Also, Here are some forms you will need to fill out." Principal Celestia said, giving Toriel some forms. Toriel wipes a tear away from her face, grabs the pen, and fills out the form.
"Something wrong, Toriel?" Principle Celestia asked.
"She kind of just got into a small fight with her ex husband?" Twilight asked. Toriel looks at Twilight and nods.
"Toriel." Principal Celestia said as she places a hand on Toriel's shoulder and smiles. "If you need anyone to talk to, Im sure Twilight would be the best one for that." She said. Toriel looks at Principal Celestia and smiles.
"Thank you." She said.
"I'd try to help, but I'm always busy with paperwork. " Principal Celestia said. Toriel hands Principle Celestia the forms.
"Here you go." She said. Celestia looks over the papers.
"Thank you very much!" She said. Toriel smiles.
"No problem." She said.
"Now, then. I see you're good with children, correct? You've dealt with one at a time, but how would you handle thirty on average?" Celestia asked.
"Truth be told, I'm a little nervous, but I think I can handle it." Toriel said with a look of determination. Celestia nods.
"That's good to hear. Now, every student has a different personality. Who knows, one might come in and put an apple on your desk, and another, a thumb tack on your chair, which is never fun. They may always be the quiet one, or the one who always raises their hand, or possibly one who lauches spitballs across the room. See where I'm going with this?" She asked. Toriel nods.
"Yes." She said. Principal Celestia puts her hands together under her chin.
"I'll start you off as a sub for small classes, mostly made up of special ed students, where there are about ten students per class. Students who find it more difficult to learn than others. Does that sound good?" She asked. Toriel nods.
"So, youll need a phone if you don't have one, since teachers will need to text or call you to ask or you to sub for them if needed." Celestia said. Toriel pulls out a old cellphone.
"I have this. It may be old, but it does it's job." She said. Celestia nods.
"Good. What's your number?" She asked. Toriel gives Principle Celestia her number. Celestia adds it into her phone and sends a massage to Toriel saying hi.
"Tell me if you get my text. I just like to make sure the number is real."+She said. Toriel feels her phone vibrates and she looks at it. She sees the text.
"Yes, I got it." She said.
"Great! Now, seeing how you're new here, do you eve have a place to stay?" Celestia asked. Twilight nods.
"She'll stay with me. She can just come through the portal when needed." She said.
"Sounds like a plan!" Celestia said. She reaches out to shake Toriel's hand. Toriel takes Celestia's hand and shakes it.
"I'm sure you'll enjoy working here at CHS." Celestia said. Toriel nods and smiles.
"I probably will." She said happily.
"And may you return to where you came since I'd assume you wish to go back." Principal Celestia said. Toriel nods.
"I do want to go back. But, let's put that on the back burner for now and focus on this." She said. Celestia nods.
"I'll see if one of the math teachers would like a day off, and i'll fill you in their spot to start you off tomorrow. Sound good?" She asked. Toriel smiles.
"I would like that." She said. Principal Celestia smiles.
"You start tomorrow." She said. Toriel nods and stands up. Principal Celestia smiles at Toriel. Toriel looks at Twilight.
"Anyway, we should probably head back, we don't want the princesses to worry." She said. Twilight gasps.
"Oh I forgot!" She yelled. Toriel opens the door for Twilight.
"After you." She said. Twilight giggles.
"Yes Miss Toriel!" Twilight said. Toriel smiles. She steps out of the room and sees Asgore and Sunset Shimmer stand in front if them. Asgore has a look of apology. Toriel crosses her arms and looks at Asgore as her smile fades into a frown.
"What do you want?" She asked.
"Certainly not you." Asgore said flatly, refusing to look at her. Sunset punches his arm.
"You need to apologize!" She yelled.
"For what? Doing what i can as a father and husband to keep my family safe? My outburst was me expressing my feelings. I have nothing to apologize for." Asgore said, crossing his arms. Twilight sighs. "All I wanted was my wife and son back...guess that's too much to ask for." He said, beginning to walk away.
"Wait." Toriel said, placing a hand on Asgore's shoulder. "I... I don't want you to leave." She said.
"Once again. Mad to sympathetic in an instant. How much longer much you torture me like this?" Asgore asked, not looking back.
"I'm... I'm sorry." Toriel said.
"Sure you are." Asgore said as a tear slips down his cheek.
"I... I only left you... because I thought that you would go mad with power because of how strong a human soul is. And after what has happened to our son. I... I didn't want to burden with the pain. So please... I'm sorry." Toriel said.
"I wish I could forgive you..." Asgore sniffed.
"You still can." Toriel said.
"Not if you're just going to continue to toy with me. Especially at a time like this." He said. Toriel spins Asgore around until their eyes met.
"Look at me, I'm sorry okay? Do you know how hurt you made me feel when you yelled at me." She said. She looks down away from Asgore before looking back at him. "I'm sorry okay? What more do you want from me?" She asked.
"I never wanted anything but for you to love me. Me expressing my feeling may have hurt you, which i'm sorry, but it's nothing compared to the pain you've caused me." He said. Toriel's expression turns into sadness as she looks down.
"Please....I don't.... I don't want you to go..." She sniffed.
"Why?" Asgore asked. Toriel looks back at Asgore.
"The truth is... I do miss you. Besides the monsters in the ruins, I was quite lonely." She said. Asgore sighs.
"Fine. I guess I forgive you." He said. Toriel hugs Asgore with a smile.
"Thank you." She said. Asgore hugs back. Toriel continues to smile as a tear falls from her face. Asgore sniffles and cries sofly, holding Toriel tightly in his arms. More tears stream Toriel's face.
"I've missed you so much, my love. I...I just want things to go back to the way they used to be. I can't go another night without you!" He yells.
"I miss you too, Asgore. I miss you so much." Toriel sniffed. Asgore smiles.
"I love you, Toriel." Asgore said.
"I love you too, Asgore." Toriel sniffed. Asgore holds toriel close, sighing happily.
"I was begining to think you didn't love me anymore..." He said.
"I would never do something like that." Toriel said.
"I'm just glad to be holding you in my arms once again." Asgore said happily.
"Same here." Toriel said happily. Asgore reaches into his pocket, and pulls out ring and slides it on her finger.
"I bet you want that back?" He asked. Toriel gasps and blushes. She nods. Asgore takes her hands in his again.
"Now we only need our son and everything will be happy again." He said.
"I hope he's okay." Toriel said. Asgore smiles and kisses Toriel on the head. Toriel smiles widely, then looks at Twilight.
"Anyway, shall we head back, I'm sure the princesses are pretty worried by now." She said. Twilight nods.
"Good luck guys!" Sunset yelled. Toriel waves at Sunset as they stop in front of the statue. She looks at Asgore.
"After you." She said.
"You know it's ladie first." Asgore said. Twilight sighs sarcastically and pushes them both through.
"WOOOOAH!!!" Toriel yelled. Asgore holds Toriel close, fearing she was scared. Toriel looks at Asgore with a slight blush.
"I'm fine Asgore, I didn't know that Twilight was going to push us." She said. Asgore chuckles nervously.
"Sorry." He said.
"It's okay, Asgore." Toriel said as the both of them exit the portal and enter the library. Toriel was turned back into a alicorn, while Asgore was turned into a white unicorn with black armor. Asgore is dazed, and falls onto the floor. Toriel gasps and helps him up.
"Are you okay, Asgore?" She asked.
"Yeah, just tripped is all." He said. He tries to stand on two legs, and ends up falling again. "Oof!" He grunted.
"You have to walk on fours instead of two." Toriel said. Asgore looks at Toriel.
"What's tha..." He stopped when he sees Toriel's horn.
"Uh...you got a little something on your forehead..." He said. Toriel laughs slightly.
"Don't worry, it's a part of me. I also have these." She said, pulling back her robe a little bit and extending her wings. Asgore jaw drops and eyes go wide.
"Why did you never tell me before!?" He yells.
"It's because we're in a different world, were we're ponies instead of bipedal beings." She said.
"Ponies!?" He yells. He looks at himself and faints. Toriel looks down at Asgore on the floor.
"Oh, dear." She said.
"I had a feeling this would happen." Twilight groans. Suddenly, Sunset falls through the portal, landing on her belly.
"Toriel! You forgot this!" She said, holding out Toriel's phone. Toriel looks back at Sunset and levitates the phone to herself.
"Thank you Sunset." She said. Sunset looks at herself.
"Heh, I'm a pony again." She said. "But I have to get back now." She said. She quickly hugs Toriel, and goes back through the portal. Toriel smiles before looking at Asgore, who's still out cold on the floor. Toriel lifts Asgore onto her back, only to buckle a little due to the weight. Toriel then notices Princess Celestia and Luna standing at the doorway. Twilight smiles at them.
" Hello your highness!" She said.
"Where have you been?" Celestia asked sternly. Twilight looks at Asgore.
"He knocked us into the portal, and while me, Toriel, and Asgore, the pony on Toriel's back, were there, we got Toriel a job at CHS." She said.
"Well, we were worried! You should have at least notified us you were there." Luna said.
"I know, I'm sorry. It was hard to focus on anything since Toriel and Asgore were fighting most of the time." Twilight said. Toriel nods and looks down.
"It's true." She said. Celestia sighs.
"At least you two are okay." She said. Toriel looks at Celestia and nods. Celestia goes over and hugs Twilight.
"Don't scare me like that again..." She said in a worried voice. Twilight hugs back.
"Sorry, princess." She said. Toriel smiles.
"Awwww." She said. Celestia lets go after a few seconds and smiles softly.
"You should know me, Celestia, I can take on anything!" Twilight said with determination. Celestia chuckles.
"I know you can. You're very powerful." She said. Toriel looks back at Asgore and smiles. Asgore was sucking on his hoof. Toriel slightly laughs at the scene.
"So who is this Asgore?" Luna asked. Toriel looks at Luna and points a hoof at Asgore.
"This is Asgore, my husband." She said. Twilight nods.
"So I see. And you got a job at Canterlot High, Toriel?" Celestia asked. Toriel nods.
"Principle Celestia said that she'll call me to substitute for a teacher if they need one." She said.
"Principle Celestia is my counterpart there." Celestia said.
"I noticed." Toriel said. Luna giggles. Twilight shakes her head..
"What?" Celestia asked. Toriel raises a eyebrow in confusion.
"What's so funny?" She asked.
"Nothing, Princess obvious." Luna said, poking Celestia with a hoof.
"Um, okay then." Toriel said. She looks at Twilight. "Do you think we should head back to Ponyville?" She asked her. Twilight nods.
"I you want." She said. Toriel nods. She then looks at the princesses.
"I guess we should head back to Ponyville now, Celestia, Luna." She said.
"Another hug would be nice." Luna said. Toriel pulls Luna into a hug. Luna smiles and hugs back.
"Thank you, friend." She said happily.
"Anything for a friend." Toriel said. Luna hugs tighter.
"It rare that anypony calls me their friend." She said. Toriel smiles at Luna. Luna lets go of Toriel.
"The last time, was before I became Nightmare Moon." She said.
"You shouldn't go through that type of pain." Toriel said. Luna sighs and looks down. Celestia places a hoof on Luna's shoulder.
"You two should go now." She said. Toriel nods and looks at Twilight.
"Ready to go?" She asked her. Twilight nods.
"Let's go." She said. Toriel walks out of the room with Asgore on her back.
"Pink...fluffy...unicorns..." Asgore mumbled. Toriel looks back at Asgore with confusion, before looking forward, shrugging.
"How does he know Fluffle puff?" Twilight asked. Toriel looks at Twilight with confusion.
"Wha?" She asked.
"Fluffle Puff is literally a pink fluffy unicorn. She's a literal ball of fur!" Twilight said.
"Um... okay then." Toriel said in confusion. Twilight lights her horn and shows a holographic image of said unicorn. Toriel nods.
"Ok." She said.
"The fillies and colts will use her to play hide and seek since they can hide in the fur on her back." Twilight said.
"I see." Toriel said, slightly intrigued.
"I dont understand some ponies." Twilight said giggling. Toriel laughs slightly and sees the carriage up ahead.
"There's the carriage." She said.
"Race you!" Twilight yelled, galloping towards the carriage.
"He-Hey!" Toriel yelled. She grabs Asgore with her magic and races after Twilight. Twilight ends up tripping over her own hooves, resulting in her faceplanting into the ground. Toriel gasps and helps Twilight up.
"Are you okay!?" She yelled. Twilight gets up a bit dizzy, her eyes spinning in circles.
"Toriel...I didn't know you had a twin..." She said. She shakes her head. "Yeah...I think I'm okay." She said. Toriel sighs in relief. Twilight blinks several times.
"Anyway, shall we continue?" Toriel asked.
"Uhhh..." Twilight said, before taking off again. Toriel chases after her. Twilight slips again and lands on her stomach and groans in frustration.
"Toriel I feel your constant tripping is contagious." She said. Toriel laughs as she helps Twilight up.
"Maybe we should take it easy." She said. Twilight smirks.
"Nah!" She said. She lights her horn, and with a flash she appears in the charriot. Toriel is dazed a bit. She shakes her head.
"Oof, dizzy." She said. Twilight teleports into the charriot as well.
"That was fun...hitting my face on the floor..." She said somewhat bitterly. Toriel slightly laughs as she lays Asgore next to her. Asgore lays against Toriel. Toriel smiles at Asgore as the carriage takes off back to Ponyville.
"'Happy to be back with him?" Twilight asked. Toriel looks at Twilight and nods.
"I am, I'm glad he saw that I still loved him, even after I left him." She said.
"'He seems happy too." Twilight said. Toriel sighs with happiness as she watches the land go by as they made their way back towards Ponyville.

Chapter 4: A unexpected surprise
Asriel was floating in darkness alone. He wasn't sad nor angry, if fact he was happy. He is happy because even thought he sacrificed himself and the souls, he broke the barrier and freed all of the monsters from the underground, and it's all thanks to a little human girl named Frisk. Suddenly, a light appears before Asriel, in the form of an equine creature. Asriel sees the light and is scared.
"Wh-who are you?" He asked.
"Do not fret, young one." The creature said with a female like voice.
"Wha-what do you want?" Asriel asked.
"An offering, young one. For you to leave this place, to a better life." She said. Asriel is somewhat interested.
"A... better life?"' He asked. The creature nodded, and with a smile she trotted over in the black void that surrounded them. She reached a foreleg out to him.
"Take my hoof." She said. Asriel slowly and hesitantly puts a clawed hand on the equine's hoof. The creature smiled.
"Your mother misses you." She said as everything went white, and the last words she said echoed in his head. Asriel groans as he opens his eyes, only to immediately shut them as sunlight hits them.
"Five... more.. minutes." He moaned.
"Is he alright?" A voice asked, sounding feminine.
"He just appeared out of nowhere!" Said another female voice, but higher pitched this time.
"Dude looks like he took a good hit on the noggin!" said another voice, which sounded feminine, yet masculine at the same time.
"Vinyl!" snapped another voice. Asriel groans as he slowly opens his eyes again and sees two equine's stare at him.
"Wha?" He asked in confusion.
"Dude...you alright? I think you need some lessons on teleporting." Vynal said. The mare next to her groaned.
"Sorry about her. She's an idiot. Need some help?" She asked. Asriel stands up, only to fall forward onto his face, causing his robe to unfold onto his head, revealing wings. Vinyl stares wide eyed.
"Dude...you're an alicorn...and can't teleport?" She asked. She fights back a laugh, but ends ends up laughing her guts out as she falls to the ground on her back. The other mare seemes shocked but still had a hoof out. Asriel moans a bit, before reaching out for the mares hoof, instead of a clawed hand like he's used to, he sees a gray hoof. His arm starts to shake as his eyes widen in fear.
"Are..you alright?" The mare asked him. Vinyl was still laughing on the ground as more ponies come to see the commotion. Asriel takes deep breaths.
"Calm yourself Asriel, you've been a flower, this isn't more weirder than that." He mutters.
"What was that?" The mare asked. Vinyl slowly gets up from the ground.
"Whoo! That...that's just too funny." She said. She wipes a tear from her eye due to laughing so hard. Asriel looks at the pony.
"Hmm? Oh, nothing, nothing." He said. The pony helps him up.
""What's your name?" She asked. Asriel stands on his legs and notices that he taller than the ponies that have gathered around. He looks at the mare.
"My name is Asriel." He said.
"I am Octavia. This is My soon not to be marefriend." She said. She bonks Vinyl on the head with a hoof. Vinyl Winces in pain.
"H-hey! That hurts!" She yelled, rubbing her head. Asriel slightly laughs at the scene, until he heard voices say "he looks evil." and "he looks like a monster." Octavia sighs.
"Would you like to stay with my and Vinyl for a while if you don't have a place to stay?" She asked. Asriel nods.
"I guess." He said.
"No! That is so unfair! Whenever I ask if somepony can hang out, you always say no, so the same goes for you!" Vinyl complained.
"This is different, Vinyl! It's your friends who are somehow more rambunctious than you, who have their own places. Asriel here has no place at all! If you don't like it, you can sleep on the couch, then." Octavia said. Vinyl scoffs.
"Fine! You're so rude to me." She scoffed. Vinyl stomps away angrily.
"You treat me like such a child!" She yelled. Octavia rolls her eyes.
"Sorry about that. sometimes I wonder what even made me say yes to her." She said.
"Umm, okay." Asriel said with some confusion. He then notices a shadow fly over them. He looks up and sees a carriage fly over. "Huh?" He asked.
"Why are the princesses here?" Octavia asked. She trots off in the direction it went. "Are you gonna come?" She asked Asriel. Asriel was interested.
"Princesses? I guess." He said. Octavia follows and watches it land in front of Twilight's castle.
"Oh, it's just Twilight. But who's she with?" She asked squinting her eyes to try to see since they were a distance away. Asriel looks and sees a pony wearing a very familiar robe. His eyes widen.
"M-mother?" He said in shock.
"Your mom? Well let's go see!" Octavia said, galloping towards Twilight.
"Here we are again. My home!" Twilight said. Toriel looks at the castle with amazement. Asriel gallops towards Toriel.
"Mother!" He yells.
"Did you hear that?" Twilight asked. She gets off the charriot and looks in the direction of the voice. Octavia has to run faster since Asriel has longer legs. Toriel's ears perk up at the voice.
"That voice, no, it can't be." She said. Asriel's body began to glow with light. His form started to shrink. As the light disappears, instead of a alicorn wearing a robe, a unicorn colt wearing a green shirt with a yellow strip was running towards Toriel. Octavia stops all of a sudden.
"Wha..." She said in confusion. Toriel looks at were the voice came from and her eyes widen as she sees the unicorn colt with a very familiar green shirt.
"As-Asriel?" She asked.
"Mother!" Asriel yelled in a child's voice.
"Awe..." Octavia said, smiling. Toriel grabs Asriel into a tight hug as tears fall from her face.
"Asriel, it is you." She said with out most joy. Asriel looks up at Toriel as he smiles.
"That's so cute." Twilight said, smiling. Toriel looks at Asriel with a wide smile as more tears fall from her face. Asriel nuzzles against Toriel's body.
"This is your son...who killed Asgore?" Twilight asked.
"He's a murderer!?" Octavia yelled in shock. Toriel looks at Twilight.
"He was a flower when he killed Asgore. His flower form is his anger towards all monsters." She said. Asriel looks down as Toriel still holds him.
"So it's true? Well, HE isn't staying with me like I offered. " Octavia said angrily. She walks away angrily. Toriel glares at Octavia as she walks away. Asriel begins to cry as he remembers his hatred. Twilight sighs. Toriel holds Asriel tight as Asgore comes out of the carriage. Tears continue to fall from Asriel's face as he hugs Toriel.
"Toriel? Why are we horses?" Asgore asked. Toriel looks at Asgore.
"Ponies actually. And for the question, I don't know." She said. Asriel looks at Asgore.
"Dad?" He asked.
"Asriel..." Asgore said, looking down. "Why did you kill me? I was a good father...Wasn't I?" He asked. Asriel looks down as more tears fall from his face.
"It wasn't me that killed you father. I wasn't myself when I was Flowey." He said.
"Still." Asgore said. Asriel looks at Asgore.
"Please forgive me father!" He yells.
"My own son...I've showered you with my love, and tried my hardest to be the best father i could be...and you went and killed me..." Asgore said.
"So..you....you're not forgiving... me?" Asriel asked. Asgore sighs.
"I cant just straight up forgive you for killing me!" He yells. Asriel breaks free from Toriel's hug and runs away crying.
"Asriel!" Toriel yelled. She glares at Asgore, before running after Asriel. Asgore sighs heavily. Asriel ducks into the nearest alleyway. Toriel runs past the alleyway that Asriel went into.
"Asriel! Asriel!" She yelled. A tear slips down Asgore's cheek. Asriel rests his back against a building wall and cries. Asgore notices they left hoof steps in the dirt, so he follows them, and eventually they split, on kept going while one went in another direction. He felt bad for yelling at Asriel, and just wanted to say sorry. He heard crying from where the smaller hoof prints went off in that other direction.
"Asriel?" He asked. He goes into the alleway and sees him against the wall. "Asriel...I'm sorry...I was just upset. I know it wasn't you, I..." He choked on what he was going to say. He pulls Asriel into a hug. "I'm sorry!" He yells. Asriel cries against Asgore's armour. Toriel runs back and sees Asgore hugging Asriel. She walks up to them.
"I'm sorry." Asgore sniffed. He kisses Asriel's head and sees Toriel. Toriel had a look of anger on her face, but as she saw Asgore kiss Asriel, her expression softens.
"I love you, my son." Asgore said, hugging Asriel tighter. Asriel slowly stops crying. Toriel walks up to them and hugs them both. Asgore hugs Toriel as well.
"Who wants to be a family again? Raise your hoof." He said, raising a hoof. Toriel and Asriel both raise a hoof. Asgore smiles and holds them both. A tear falls from Toriel's face as she smiles. Asriel gives out a good yawn before smiling. Asgore smiles. Toriel was about to say something, when the trash cans next to them rattled. Asgore gives Asriel who had fallen asleep to Toriel.
"Who's there!?" He yells, approaching the trash cans. Toriel holds Asriel close as a trash can falls over and a pony like shape falls out of it.
"Who are you?" He asked the pony, noticing the form was smaller than Asriel even. The looks up at Asgore and backs away, scared. Toriel looks at the pony and sees what looks like a filly. But the filly has holes on her hooves, her skin was dark and look like a insects chitin, she also had insect like wings, her mane and tail was a light green and has holes in it as well, and her eyes were sky blue with black cat like irises.
"Must be a child. But what is she doing out here alone? Whatever she is." Asgore said. He goes a little closer, kneeling down to her height. "Hi there, little one! Where's your mommy and daddy?" He asked. The The pony backs away from Asgore, even more scared.
"Hey it's okay. I won't hurt you, little one." He said in a calm voice. He manages to slowly pick up the filly and rocks her in his forelegs gently, humming softly. "It's okay." He said. The filly calms down and looks at Asgore.
"Daddy?" She asked. Asgore is shocked, then looks to Toriel.
"She called me daddy...." He said. Toriel smiles.
"Awww." She said. The filly looks at Toriel.
"Mommy?" She asked. Asgore looks to the filly and with a heavy mental sigh he nods.
"I'm your daddy." He said. The filly yawns and falls asleep in Asgore's arms. Toriel wipes a tear as she looks at Asriel and the filly with happiness.
"It isn't right to lie to her like this..." Asgore said.
"I know, but we can't leave her here." Toriel said as she carefully places a sleeping Asriel on her back.
"What should we do then?" He asked. Toriel looks at him.
"I think we should make her apart of the family." She said.
"I guess we have no choice since we already agreed to being her parents..." He said, smiling. "I've been wanting a daughter anyway." He said.
"And I know what to call her as well." Toriel said.
"Naming her already?" Asgore asked, chuckling. "What do you have in mind?" He asked.
"Frisk." Toriel said.
"Frisk..." Asgore said. Toriel nods.
"Yes, Frisk, the human who made all of us happy. To bring joy to all of us that we didn't have in a long time. Even to be her friend too." She said happily.
"Yeah, I know..." Asgore said, having a far away look on his face.
"Oh come on now, I know you fought her, so please cheer up, were back together, we have Asriel back, and we have a new family member. So, Frisk would be a good name for her." Toriel said.
"I'm a monster for trying to kill her..." Asgore said, a hint of sadness in his voice. Toriel sighs as she places a hoof on Asgore and looks at him.
"But in the end, she made a friend out of you." She said.
"I couldn't even beat a child...so what good can I possibly be to protect you?" He asked, choking a little bit. Toriel pulls him into a light hug, being careful of the filly that Asgore was holding.
"I don't care about that, as long as I have you, Asriel, and Frisk, I am happy." She said.
"I bet I wont even be able to beat this filly if we ever battled..." He said, looking down. "I'm such a weakling...beaten by a child and killed by a flower..." He said with sadness. Toriel gives a light slap to his face and makes him look at her, her eyes filled with determination.
"Look at me, you need to stop it. You need to stop calling yourself weak and get over it. That was the past, this is now, okay? So I don't want to hear it anymore, alright?" She asked. Asgore looks even sadder.
"Oh, come here." She said. She Pulls him back into a hug.
"It's like I'm a Froggit..." He sniffed.
"Hey, don't say that. You may have lost to Frisk, but hey, from what I can tell, she made friends with every monster in the underground, so who can blame her. So please, stop worrying about this, please." She said with a sad look. Asgore throws off his crown. Toriel looks down with sadness as she places Frisk next to Asriel.
"Asgore, please..." She sniffed. Asgore stomps it flat with a hindleg. Tears start to fall from Toriel's face as she looks at Asgore. "Please, Asgore, stop doing this." She pleaded. Asgore collapses to the ground crying. Toriel goes to the ground with him and cries as well.
"I'm no king! Just a weak pushover!" He yells.
"Stop this, Asgore, please!" She yelled as more tears fell from her face. Asgore curls up into Toriel.
"I'm a bad husband..." heHe sniffed. Toriel hugs him tightly.
"You're not a bad husband, your not." She said. Asgore says nothing. The filly wakes up and sees Asgore and Toriel hugging. She flutters her wings and glides down. She walks in front of them.
"Mommy? Daddy?" She asked. Tears leak from Asgore's eyes. Frisk walks up to Asgore and nuzzles him.
"Daddy?" She asked in a worried voice. Asgore wipes his eyes and looks at her.
"Yeah?" He asked. Frisk looks at Asgore with a confused look.
"Daddy okay?" She asked.
"I don't know." He sniffed, hugging Frisk. Frisk nuzzles him. Toriel couldn't help but smile at the scene. Asgore smiles as well.
"Daddy is better now." He said, Kissing Frisk's head. Frisk smiles.
"Yay!" She said happily. Asgore holds her close. Frisk yawns again. Toriel wipes a tear from her face as she smiles.
"Want mommy to hold you?" He asked. Frisk holds out her tiny hooves towards Toriel.
"Mommy!" She said.
"Aww." He said. Toriel grabs Frisk and hugs her. Frisk squeals with happiness.
"Well...how about we get out of this alleyway?" Asgore asked. Toriel nods and places Frisk on her back.
"Sure. I'm pretty sure that Twilight must be worried about us." She said.
"Yeah." He said. He looks at Frisk and ruffles her mane with a hoof. "Hey there." He said. Frisk playfully grabs at Asgore's Hoof with hers.
"Awww, so cute." Toriel said. Asgore smiles and tickles her sides a little. Frisk starts to laugh.
"Noooo daddy, stooooop!" She yelled. She squealed with laughter. Asgore chuckles and stops, smiling at Frisk.
"I love you, Frisk." He said.
"I love you too, daddy." She said, before giving off a yawn. Asgore kisses her head again. Frisk snuggles against Asriel and falls asleep with a smile on her face. Toriel warmly smiles at the scene.
"Sleep tight little one." Asgore said.
"Anyway, shall we get going?" Toriel asked. Asgore nods.
"Asriel, wanna ride with your sister?" He asked. Asriel looks up at Asgore and nods
"I wouldn't mind." He said. Asgore smiles.
"Good." He said. He lifts Asriel up and hugs him tight. "I need to hug you first, because I love you so much." He said. Toriel bends down and picks up Asgore's destroyed crown.
"What should I do with this?" She asked.
"I...Don't know..." Asgore said as he puts Asriel on Toriel's back. Toriel has a idea. She takes out her phone, goes through the numbers and selects the one that says storage. A wooden chest appears and Toriel places the destroyed crown in the empty box. She closes the phone and the box disappears.
"There, I put it in storage until we need it." She said.
"Okay. Asriel, do you like your new sister? She's much littler and younger than you to let you know." He said. Asriel looks at the sleeping filly and nods.
"I do!" He said happily.
"Good." Asgore said. He smiles at how Frisk cuddles against Asriel in her sleep. "Now let's get going." He said, trotting out of the alleyway. Asriel lays next to Frisk and falls asleep next to her. Toriel follows Asgore out of the alleyway. Asgore smiles at Toriel.
"You're so beautiful." He said. Toriel blushes and looks at Asgore.
"You are too." She said.
"I know I am." He said, chuckling. Toriel smiles as she can see Twilight.
"Maybe she'll like our new family member?" He asked as he smiles at Frisk. Toriel nods and looks at Twilight.
"Hey Twilight!" She yelled. Twilight turns to see Toriel and Asgore.
"Oh, hi guys!" She said, waving.
"Everything is all fine now!" Toriel said.
"That's good to know!" Twilight said happily. She sees Asriel on Toriel's back, along wiht a forgein body. "Who is that with Asriel on your back, Tori?" She asked.
"A filly we found in an alleyway." Asgore said as he gently picks Frisk off of Toriel's back.
"Her name is Frisk." He said.
"But...she's a changeling!" Twilight yelled. Toriel tilts her head in confusion.
"A changling?" She asked.
"Yes, trouble makers! Pawns to Queen Chrysalis, they drain love from ponies, to feed off of. They've tried to overthrow the princesses, and can disguise themselves as anypony they want! That baby right there could be an assailant, or something to Chrysalis disguised as a baby!" Twilight yelled. Asgore was shocked, not knowing what to say.
"But...we can't just leave her..." He said.
"Asgore, Toriel, as much as I understad you want to help a little critter, I highly reccomend not keeping her. May I see her? I won't hurt her." Twilight said. Toriel has a look of worry. Frisk yawns and opens her eyes sleepily.
"Mommy? Daddy?" She asked sleepily. Asgore holds frisk close.
"I...I...I don't want to believe this Twilight..I love her so much..." He said. Twilight sighs heavily.
"For all we know, she could be a he." She said.
"We found her in a trashcan! I don't think high powered assassins or assailants are gonna go rummaging through trash cans to take over the princesses!" He yells.
"I..guess you have a point..." Twilight added.
"We're keeping her. Aren't we, Toriel?" He asked. Toriel with a look of determination, nods.
"Yes, we are keeping her." She said.
"Alright. I hope for the best for you two then." Twilight said. Asgore smiles down at Frisk.
"Hey there! How is my little girl?" He asked. Frisk holds her hooves up towards Asgore.
"Daddy!" She said happily. Asgore smiles and holds her.
"Yes, Frisk?" He asked. Frisk's stomach growls loudly.
"Hungry!" She said.
"Uh...how do we feed her love?" He asked Twilight. Twilight shrugs.
"Me no want love! Me want food!" Frisk said.
"Okay...what can Changelings eat?" Asgore asked. Twilight shrugs again.
"How about we go in and see what she likes." She said. She motions for them to follow and heads inside. Toriel follows. Asgore puts Frisk on his head.
"There you go! Now you're as tall as daddy!" He said. He smiles and follows Twilight inside. Frisk laughs with happiness.
"Like it up there?" Asgore asked, smiling. Frisk throws her hooves up in the air.
"Yay!" She squealed.
"What do you want to eat, Sweetie?" He asked. Frisk notices a table filled with food. She eyed the cupcakes that were on the table.
"I see dinner is already made." Asgore said, chuckling. Frisk flutters her wings and glides off of Asgore's head and onto the table, next to the cupcakes.
"Frisk, not till you've had supper, okay?" He said. Frisk looks back at Asgore.
"Okay." She said.
"Can daddy have a hug?" He asked. Frisk holds out her hooves in a hugging matter.
"Huggy!" She said. Asgore smiles and gently hugs Frisk.
"Awe! Thats so cute, and just feel free to eat. I don't eat much anyway. I just made a feast, incase you guys were a bit hungry." Twilight said. Frisk squeals with happiness. Toriel smiles at the scene. Then she looks at Asriel.
"Asriel, time to wake up." She said. Asriel opens his eyes slowly.
"Huh?" He asked sleepily.
"What do you want to eat, Frisk?" Asgore asked. Frisk notices what looks like a sandwich and points a hoof at it. Toriel carefully lifts Asriel off her back and onto the floor. Asriel yawns as he looks at the food. Asgore smiles and hoofs the sandwich to Frisk.
"Here you go, Sweetie. " He said as he kisses her head. "I love you." He said happily. Frisk takes the sandwich and starts to eat it. Her eyes widen as she eats even faster. Asriel takes a sandwich as well and eats it. Toriel takes a couple of vegetables on a plate and eats.
"I'm not hungry for now. I just want to hold my little girl." Asgore said, smiling at Frisk. Frisk stops eating real quick and smiles at Asgore.
"Daddy!" She said happily. Toriel hears a door open and notices Twilight's friends walk in.
"Hey, who's the new guy?" Rainbow asked.
"This is Asgore. And their kids, Asriel and Frisk." Twilight said. Rainbow flies over to Twilight.
"Isn't that one a changeling?" She whispered in Twilight's ear. Twilight sighs.
"I know." She said. Asriel sees the ponies and hides behind Toriel. Frisk looks at the ponies and waves hello.
"Hi!" She said happily. Toriel looks at Asriel.
"It's okay, Asriel." She said. Rarity squeals in fright.
"Changeling!" She yelled.
"Really? It's just a baby. We fought off an army of them, and yer afraid of a filly?" Applejack said in a bemused manner.
"What? I..I'm not afriad! Just surprised is all. But why is she here?" Rarity asked.
"We found her in a trashcan in an alleyway, and has become our daughter. Isn't that right, Frisk?" Asgore asked. He kisses her head. "Yes, daddy loves you, yes i do!" He said, playing with Frisk's cheeks. Frisk squeals with happiness.
"They're friends, Asriel." Toriel said with a warm smile. Asriel slowly comes out from behind Toriel. Asgore hugs her tight.
"But aren't they just precious?" Fluttershy said. Frisk finishes what was left of her sandwich. Asriel walks towards Fluttershy, his eyes filled with curiosity. Toriel smiles. Asgore smiles.
"Now pick your cupcake." He said.
"Hi there, little one!" Fluttershy said. Frisk sees a chocolate cupcake with vanilla frosting. She points to it.
"That one!" She said.
"H-hi." Asriel said with some shyness. Asgore smiles and grabs it for her.
"Here you go Frisk." He said. Frisk takes the cupcake in her hooves and takes a bite of it. Her eyes widen as she eats it fast, getting chocolate and vanilla all over muzzle and mane. Asgore chuckles and cleans her with a napkin.
"You're a messy eater, aren't cha?" Asgore asked. He softly pets her mane. Frisk gives a cute yawn. Asriel walks up to the table and grabs a cupcake, when Pinkie pie pops up next to him, causing him to jump. Asgore daws, laying Frisk across his arms.
"Gonna sleep on daddy?" He asked. Frisk gives a slight nod before falling asleep. Asriel looks at Pinkie pie.
"Um... hi." He said.
"HI!! I'm Pinkie Pie!" Pinkie yelled.
"Shhh!! Try to keep it down. Frisk is sleeping." Asgore said as he rocks her gently in his arms.
"You remind me of someone, but I don't remember who." Asriel said. Pinkie tilts her head.
"Huh?" She asked. Asriel thinks, then remembers some visions of when he was a flower.
"Now I remember, when I was a flower, I saw this skeleton. His name was Sans, you remind me of him." He said.
"SANS!? I know him!" Pinkie yelled. Asriel was taken back at what Pinkie said.
"What?" He asked with surprise.
"Nah, I wouldn't know anything about a punny skeleton, who wears a blue sweater with fur inside, and hangs around outside Toriel's place." Pinkie said.
"Umm... okay then..." Asriel said. Suddenly, there was a loud snap. Asriel looks up and sees a crystal chandelier falling, over Toriel.
"Mother!" He yells. Toriel looks up and her eyes widen. She screams. Asriel runs towards Toriel as fast as he could, when he was surrounded by light. The light disappears and a alicorn wearing a robe like Toriel's slams into Toriel, pushing him and her out of the way of the falling chandelier. The chandelier hits the ground where Toriel was with a loud crash. Twilight gasps and stares in shock like everypony else. Asriel looks at Toriel.
"Mom, are you okay!?" He yells, his voice sounding worried. Toriel looks at Asriel and nods, not phased by his sudden transformation. She stands up, noticing that she is slightly shorter than Asriel.
"Yes, I'm fine, Asriel." She said. Asgore notices Frisk has waken from the crash and has begun crying.
"Oh, no don't cry, everythings okay!" He said. He looks at Toriel. "I'm gonna take her into the next room." He said. He brings her into the next room after, which was a sitting area with bookshelves. Asriel hugs Toriel as tears fell from his face.
"I don't want to lose you again mother." He sniffed. Toriel pats Asriel on the back.
"There, there, shhh, it's okay." She said.
"How did you do that!?" Twilight yelled.
"Shh! Frisk everything is okay! Please stop crying. Want to see mommy?" Asgore asked, trying to calm down Frisk. Frisk sniffles and nods. Asriel wipes the tears from his eyes and turns to look at Twilight, showing her his black eyes with white irises.
"Well...I better clean up this clutter..." Twilight said.
"Come on." Asgore said. He puts Frisk on his back and trots back out.
"Toriel, your daughter wants you to hold her." He said. Toriel looks at Frisk.
"Come here." She said. Frisk holds out her hooves.
"Mommy!" She yelled. Asriel notices Rainbow glaring at him.
"What?" He asked. Asgore gives Frisk to Toriel.
"We trade." He said, hugging Asriel. Asriel blushes slightly and hugs Asgore. Toriel hugs Frisk.
"Mommy!" Frisk said.
"Mind changing back so I can hold you properly?" Asgore asked. Asriel has a slightly embarrassed look on his face.
"Oh, yea, heh heh." He laughed slightly. He glows with light, before he turns back into a unicorn colt. Asgore smiles down at him as he holds him close.
"I've missed you for so long, my son. Please don't ever leave me again!" He yells, hugging Asriel tightly. Asriel smiles and hugs back.
"I miss you too dad, I'm very sorry for killing you when I was a flower." He said.
"I forgive you, son." Asgore said. Toriel looks at Asgore while holding a sleeping Frisk.
"Awww." She said, smiling. A tear falls from Asriel's eyes as he smiles. Asgore ruffles his name with a hoof.
"Remember I will always love you, okay?" He said. Twilight is cleaning up all the glass with the help of her friends. Asriel nods.
"I love you too dad." He said. Asgore smiles. Asriel smiles up at him. Toriel walks up to Asriel and Asgore. Asgore nuzzles Asriel. Asriel smiles. Toriel pulls Asgore and Asriel into a hug, alongside with Frisk. Asgore yawns.
"I guess we could use some sleep." Toriel said.
"I could use some sleep." Asgore said. Toriel looks at Twilight.
"Um, Twilight, is there a room that we can use?" She asked. Twilight points down a hall.
"Third door on the left." She said. Toriel nods and places Frisk and Asriel on her back. She looks at Asgore.
"Shall we?" She asked.
"Yeah...and can I have Frisk back? I'm getting really attached to her." Asgore said. Toriel smiles and nods. She lifts Frisk off her back and gently hand her over to Asgore. Asgore smiles softly and holds her close.
"My little Frisk." He said kissing her head.
"...Daddy..." She Mumbles in her sleep, before smiling. Asgore tears up from pure happiness. A tear falls from Toriel's face as she smiles.
"Lets go now." He said. Toriel wipes a tear from her face and nods. Asgore smiles and leads her to the bedroom. Toriel follows Asgore. Asgore enters a large room with a king size bed on the opposite end. Toriel walks up to the bed. Asgore lays down, holding Frisk close to him. Toriel gets in bed with Asgore, Asriel and Frisk. Asgore smiles at Toriel.
"Thank you or giving me another chance." He said. Toriel smiles.
"I'm happy that our family is back. Along with a new family member." She said.
"Our baby girl." Asgore said as he kisses Frisk on the head. Frisk smiles as she slept. Asgore holds her closer. Toriel hugs her family as she closes her eyes. Asgore smiles and falls asleep. Toriel falls asleep a few seconds later after Asgore falls asleep. He holds Frisk in his sleep.

Chapter 5: The first day as a teacher
Asgore wakes with a yawn and a stretch the following morning. Toriel is curled around Frisk and Asriel, who are snuggling close to each other. Asgore smiles and kisses each of their heads. Asriel smiles as he slept.
"...Daddy..." Frisk mumbles in her sleep. Asgore gently pulls Frisk close to him. As she slept her horn glowed with a greenish light and she was covered in flames, after the flames die, Frisk turned into a light brown filly with neither horn nor wings, a brown mane and tail, wearing a purple striped shirt, with a cutie mark of a red heart. Asgore tilts his head. Frisk yawns as she slowly opens her eyes.
"Morning honey." He said. Frisk yawns again, then smiles.
"Daddy." She said sleepily.
"Yes sweetie?" He asked. Frisk nuzzles against his armor.
"I love you." She said.
"Awe, I love you too, my sweet little filly." He said as he ruffles her hair. Toriel yawns and opens her eyes. She raises her head and sees Asgore holding Frisk. She smiles. Asgore smiles, rocking Frisk in his arms.
"Who's a cute little filly?" He asked.
"I am!" Frisk said.
"Awww." Toriel said. Asgore smiles and nods.
"Yes you are." He said. Asgore looks at Toriel and pecks her cheek.
"Morning, love." He said. Toriel blushes slightly and smiles.
"Morning." She said.
"I slept amazing in this new bed!" He said. Toriel nods.
"I can't believe that it held the four of us." She said. Asgore nods.
"Yeah, this is a gigantic bed!" He said. Toriel's stomach growls, causing her to blush.
"And maybe you need a gigantic meal!" Asgore said. Toriel gasps.
"Hey!" She said.
"What?" He asked.
"I don't need to eat that much." She said.
"Me either. Should we feed the kids?" He asked. He smiles down at Frisk. "Are you hungry, little one?" He asked. Frisk's stomach growls in response. She nods. Toriel laughs at the response from Frisk and nods.
"Okay. Should we wake Asriel?" Asgore asked. Toriel nods and slightly nudges Asriel.
"Asriel, time to wake up." She said. Asriel snorts as he wakes up. He raises his head.
"Huh? Wha?" He asked.
"We're going to have breakfast." Asgore said. Asriel nods as he stands up, yawning.
"Okay." He said.
"Frisk wanna ride on me or on Toriel?" Asgore asked, looking at her. Frisk holds her hooves up to Asgore.
"Daddy!" She said. Toriel warmly smiles at the scene as Asriel gets out of bed. She follows.
"Aww!" Asgore said. He picks her up and places her on his head. "What a cutie you are." He. Frisk claps her hooves together with happiness. Toriel yawns. Asgore laughs and trots out of the room. Toriel and Asriel follows Asgore. Asgore sees everything still out from last night Asriel looks around in amazement. Frisk plays with a strand of her mane.
"What does everyone want?" Asgore asked. Asriel looks at the table and thinks. Frisk sees the sandwiches again and points a hoof at them. Toriel grabs a sandwich this time, and notices Twilight and her friends. She waves hello.
"Morning, Twilight." She said. Asgore lifts a sandwich to frisk with his magic.
"There you go little one." He said. Twilight yawns.
"Morning, Toriel, Asgore. Asriel and Frisk." She said. Frisk takes the sandwich and eats it happily. Asriel takes a round disk made out of dough.
"What is this?" He asked.
"It's a haycake." Applejack said. Asriel looks at it with confusion.
"Haycake?" He asked. Rarity takes it in her magic and places it on a plate.
"Use a fork, dear." She said. She levitates one over to him. Asgore holds Frisk in his arms as she eats. Asriel takes it in his magic and tries a bite. His eyes widen.
"That's... that's delicious!" He yells. Twilight brings him a bottle of syrup.
"It's better with some of this on it. Wanna try it?" She asked. Asriel nods and takes the syrup. He pours the syrup on the haycake. He takes a bite and nearly drops the plate.
''I...I don't know what to say." He said.
"What?" Twilight asked. Asgore smiling down at Frisk as he holds her.
"What were you doing in that trashcan, anyway?" He asked.
"This is delicious!" Asriel said. Frisk stops eating her sandwich as a tear falls from her face.
"I was... thrown out." She sniffed.
"By who?" Asgore asked, wiping a tear.
"My... old mother. She said that there wasn't enough love to go around, so, she told me to leave." Frisk said.
"How pathetic! Throw your own child out! How dare they to such a sweet filly!" Asgore yelled as he hugs Frisk tightly. "It's okay now. You'll always have us." He said. Toriel wipes a tear from her face. Frisk cries against Asgore.
"There, there. Daddy loves you." He said, holding her close and patting her back. Frisk hugs him.
"Don't leave me daddy!" She yelled. Toriel couldn't hold herself and she cries.
"Never, Frisk. You're staying with us as long as you live, okay?" He asked as hugs her tighter and kisses her head. Frisk wipes the tears from her eyes and smiles.
"Thank you daddy." She sniffed. Toriel smiles. Asgore smiles.
"No problem, my little filly." He said. Asriel has a look of anger.
"If I find whoever did this to Frisk, they will never see the light of day again." He said.
"I wouldn't go that far....or just throw them in the ruins! " Asgore said, laughing.
"Yea, let them wonder the ruins that has no monsters anymore. Put up the barrier so that they won't come out." Asriel said. Asgore nods then turns to look at Frisk.
"Is my baby girl okay now?" He asked. Frisk nods. Toriel smiles.
"Look at me, Frisk." Asgore said. Frisk looks up at Asgore. Asgore kisses her head.
"I will always love you. You may not be my birth child, but it would have been a great blessing if you were. Either way, I'm glad to be your daddy." He said. Frisk smiles and nuzzles against Asgore.
"Thank you daddy." She said.
"Asriel, Toriel, come here so I can love you too." He said. Toriel walks up to Asgore, alongside Asriel. Asgore hugs all three of them.
"My beautiful family." He said. Toriel smiles.
"I've never been this happy before." She said.
"Me either, my sweet." He said.
"I'm glad that all of us are back together." She said.
"Me too." He said. He hugs the three of them tightly. Twilight and her friends daw at the sight. Toriel's robe started to vibrate.
"Huh?" She asked. She takes out her phone. "Principal Celestia needs me. She texted me." She said.
"Who is she?" Asgore asked.
"She's the principal of the school of that human world you knocked me and Twilight into." She said.
"Well you better get going, then." He said. He pecks her on the lips.
"I'll watch the kids for however long you are gone." He promised.
"Let's go, Toriel." Twilight said. She teleports herself and Toriel to the mirror. Toriel takes a deep breath.
"Well, wish me luck." She said.
"I will!" Twilight yelled as she waves as Toriel goes through. Toriel appears at the other side of the portal, reverted back to her old self, and notices Principal Celestia standing on the stairs waiting for her. She stands up, brushing herself off. Principal Celestia waves.
"Welcome!" She said. Toriel walks up to her with a smile.
"Morning, Principal Celestia." She said happily.
"I hope you don't mind but I called you in early before all the kids come so you can have time to tour the building to get to know it. I'll lead the way. Shall we begin?" Principle Celestia asked.
"I don't mind. And lead the way." Toriel said. Celestia leads Toriel into the large foyer.
"Your room is right over there." She said. She points down the hall just ahead. "It's at the end." She said. Toriel looks and sees the door, she nods.
"Okay." She said. Celestia goes down a hall to the right.
"This way is the cafeteria." She said. Toriel nods as she looks in and sees a fairly old woman preparing breakfast.
"If we continue down a bit more we find the gym!" Celestia said. Toriel looks at her and nods. Principal Celestia turns down the hall to the left. Toriel follows while looking around.
"Well thats about it." Celestia added Celestia as they finished the tour. Toriel smiles and nods again.
"Thank you for the tour, Principal Celestia." She said.
"You should head to your classroom to get ready." Celestia said. Toriel nods.
"Well, wish me luck, again." She said. Celestia nods. Toriel walks off towards her classroom. Kids begin to enter the building. Toriel ignores the stares from the kids as she enters her classroom. They all stared in confusion from their desks. Toriel prepares everything that she has as kids continued to enter the classroom.
"Um...nice costume?" A boy asks as he walks in. Toriel's ears perk up at the voice.
"Hmm? Oh, this isn't a costume." She said. He tilts his head as he walks in. Toriel looks at the students and notices that some are on their phones, she raises a eyebrow.
"So...are you the teacher?" One student asked. Toriel nods.
"I am." She said.
"What's your name?" the student asked. Toriel takes a piece of chalk and writes her name on the chalkboard.
"My name is Mrs.Toriel." She said.
"Never heard that one before. So what will we be doing?" The student asked. Toriel looks back at her students.
"Today, we'll be learning some algebra." She said.
"We're learning how to make linear equations, so that's fine." The girl said, smiling. Toriel nods and writes some linear equations on the board.
4 hours and 45 Minutes later
Toriel finishes teaching some linear equations, just as the bell rings for lunch. She closes a math book on her desk as the students file out the door. The same girl from before approaches the desk.
"So, what planet are you from? I know you aren't from here." She she asks excitedly. Toriel looks at the girl.
"Hmm? Oh, I'm not from another planet, I'm from Mount Ebott. I lived underground." She said. The girl tilts her head.
"There's no mount Ebott here...." She said. Toriel puts a hand to her chin.
"Hmm, strange, where I lived, everyone, including the monsters, has heard of Mount Ebott." She said. The girl looked confused.
"Well..I gotta get to lunch...see you later!" She said, skipping out of the room. Toriel thinks for a couple of seconds before she shrugs and leaves the room. Noticing the students stare at her again. Some of them smile and wave.
"Morning, Mrs. Toriel!" One said. Toriel waves back.
"Hello." She said. She turns down a hallway, but notices that she went down the wrong hall. "Well darn, I went down the wrong way." She said with slight irritation. She was about to turn around and walk back, when she sees a little girl wearing a pink bow on her head surrounded by two other girls, one with a tiara, and another with glasses.
"Ah told ya'll Ah don' have any money on me!" The girl that looks like Applebloom yelled. Toriel hears what the girl said and walks up to the girls, standing right behind the two girls. She places her hands on her hips.
"Excuse me, is there a problem?" She asked. Applebloom looks up at Toriel with a gasp. The two other girls turn, only to scream at Toriel's presence. Toriel raises an eyebrow.
"Now that's just rude." She said.
"What even are you?" The pink girl wearing the tiara asked.
"I think the better question is, what are you two doing to her?" Toriel asked.
"Tryin' ta steal the lunch money AH DON'T HAVE!" Applebloom yelled. Toriel looks at Applebloom, then looks back at the girls, looking slightly angry.
"Oh really?" She asked.
"What are you gonna do about it huh?" said the pink girl, shooting Toriel a sly smirk, arms crossed over her chest. The other girl, being grey looked a tad bit guilty.
"Diamond...we shouldn't be doing this..." She said nervously.
"Maybe I should go and get the principal and tell her what you two are doing, hmmm?" Toriel said. Diamond shrugs.
"Celestia never does anything, so have fun with that." She said. Toriel slightly glares at Diamond.
"Or maybe I should step in." She said, crossing her arms.
"Puh-lease." Diamond said, rolling her eyes in annoyance.
"Diamond, please...let's just go. You've already gotten me in trouble...again." Said the grey girl as she began to walk away.
"I would listen to your friend, Diamond. In fact, I don't think she wants to be around you." Toriel said.
"Fine." Diamond said. She grumbles and walks away. Toriel has defeated Diamond Tiara and Silver Spoon. She has gained 0 xp and 0 gold. Toriel watches them walk away, then turn towards Applebloom with a friendly smile.
"Now then, if I may ask, why are you here?" She asked.
"Going to mah next class." Applebloom said. Toriel nods.
"Well then, you better be going then." She said.
"Yeah, uh, thanks!" Applebloom said. She coincidencially walks into Toriel's room along with other students. Toriel has a slight look of surprise as she heads back the way she came. She bumps into someone. She looks and sees that she bumped into Principal Celestia and sees that she's on the floor. She reaches out to help her.
"Oops, sorry about that, Principal Celestia." She said.
"N-no problem!" Celestia said. She takes her hand and gets up. "So, how's everything going?" She asked.
"Everything's going very well." Toriel said happily.
"I saw that little display you put on. Good going! Those two, Diamond Tiara and Silver Spoon can be trouble." Celestia said happily. Toriel smiles.
"Thank you." She said.
"Keep that up, I'll have no choice but to promote you." Principal Celestia said. Toriel is quite surprised at what Principal Celestia said.
"W-what?" She asked. Principal Celestia smiles. Toriel shakes her head.
"Anyway, I should should get some lunch before I go back to class." She said. Principal Celestia looks at her watch.
"Ten minutes till class starts, so you've got plenty of time." She said. Toriel starts to walk into the cafeteria, but stops.
"Oh dear, I forgot. I don't have any money." She said. Celestia pulls out a couple pieces of green paper.
"Lunch is cheap here. plus being principle, I get quite a large pay. A few dollars won't hurt, so take them." She said. Toriel takes the money with surprise.
"Th-thank you. I'll pay you back when I can." She said.
"It's fine! I have to pay you anyway, since it's illegal to make people work for free. But even if it was legal, I wouldn't do it." Celestia said. Toriel smiles.
"Anyway, thank you." She said.
"No problem, Mrs. Toriel." Celestia said happily. Toriel walks into the cafeteria with a smile. Students filled most tables, and soon all the commotion died down and everyone's attention was on Toriel. Toriel ignores the stares and waits in line, which is short due to how close lunch is about to end. The lady simply smiles and prepares a plate of food for Toriel just like everyone else. Toriel smiles.
"Excuse me, if I may ask, do I pay up here?" She asked. The lady nods and approaches a register. Toriel hands her the money. The lady gives toriel the tray and puts the money in the register. Toriel takes the tray of food.
"Thank you." She said. The lady nods. Toriel walks around looking for a place to sit. Everyone continued to stare immensly. Toriel continues to look around, starting to get worried. She then notices five familiar humans that resemble Twilight's friends sitting together with Sunset Shimmer with them. She walks up to them. The girls at the table notice her right away.
"Hey, it's you again!" Sunset said happily. Toriel waves Hello with one hand as she neared the table.
"Hello Sunset." She said.
"So, how's your first day going?" Sunset asked. As Toriel sits down next to pinkie pie, the table groans under her weight.
"It's going great actually." She said.
"Well thats good news! Uh...how are things between you and Asgore?" Sunset asked. Toriel smiles.
"We're finally back together. And what's best, we have our son back as well! We haven't seen him in years! Even when he was a flower, I still cared about him." She said.
"Aww." Sunset said.
"Wait...your kid...is a flower?" Rainbow asked in confusion. Toriel looks at her.
"He was before, out of anger. But now, he is over that and is back to normal." She said.
"Oh, okay." Rainbow said. As Toriel is almost done eating, she notices that Rarity was staring at her, especially her robe. She looks at her.
"Hmm? Do I have some on my robe?" She asked.
"Oh, nothing, darling!" Rarity said. Toriel shrugs and finishes the last of her food, just as the bell rang. The girls all began to get up, taking their trays to throw their garbage away. Toriel does the same, and places the tray with the others, before walking back to class. As she walks into her classroom, she noticed that instead of teenagers, little boys and girls are sitting and talking in the desks. She noticed Applebloom's eyes widen as she walks in.
"Are...are you the teacher?" Applebloom asked. Toriel looks at Applebloom and nods.
"I am." She said.
"Wow! What are the chances?" Applebloom asked. She giggles slightly and takes her seat with two other girls, one being a white purple haired girl, and the other and orange colored girl with magenta hair. As Toriel began to write her name on the board, she sees Diamond tiara and the grey girl with the glasses walk in. Applebloom and the other two girls frown at them. Toriel raises a eyebrow at them as she finishes writing her name on the board.
"Toria..iel?" Said the purple haired girl in an awkward voice. "How do you pronounce that?" She asked.
"Ah, it's actually quite simple." Toriel said as she drew two lines in the middle of her name. "It's spelled, To-ri-el." She said.
"To-ri-el. Okay! Thanks!" The girl said. Toriel smiles just as the bell rings. The children wait for Toriel to begin. Toriel began to teach the math that is right for the kids. Several children were taking notes, and a few were throwing paper airplanes around the room. Toriel turns around and sees a student throw a paper airplane. She clears her throat.
"Excuse me, no throwing paper airplanes around." She stated. The child looks at her and throws one at her. Toriel catches the paper airplane and incinerates it, leaving only a pile of ash. The child stares in shock, with a dropped jaw.
"That was AWESOME!" He yells.
"Let that be a warning, okay?" She asked.
"A goat thing that can talk, teach math, and incinerate things! I have seen everything!" The boy said excitedly. Toriel facepalms.
"Let's just.. get back to some math." She said.
"What else can you do, Mrs. Toriel?" He asked.
"Can we focus on that later and do some math, please." She said.
"Awe..." The child groaned and went back to work.
"Thank you." She said as she went back to writing on the board.
"Uh...Mrs, Toriel...I'm confused with problem ten..." Scootaloo said. Toriel turns towards Scootaloo and walks to her.
"Let me see." She said as she knelt down. "Ah yes see, you sorta did it right, yet wrong. In double digit multiplication you use the first number on the bottom to answer the other numbers on top, then add a zero before you do the next number, okay?" She asked.
"Okay, thanks!" Scootaloo said. Toriel smiles and nods. She walks back to the board. Scootaloo chews on the eraser of her pencil, trying to think. Toriel sits in the chair, causing it to groan a little from her weight, and begins to read the math book. There was a faint sound of lasers and guns. Toriel's ears perk up and she looks around, looking for the cause of the sound. A boy was playing on a gaming device, with his hands behind the desk to hide it. She looks at the boy and clears her throat. The boy looked up, quickly sliding the device under him.
"Y-yes, Mrs. toriel?" He asked nervously.
"Please focus on your work and not on your... device." She said.
"W-what device?" He asked. Toriel sighs.
"I can hear the noise from your device all the way over here. So please focus on your work." She said. The boy groans. Toriel goes back to reading the math book. The boy goes back to playing, but has the sound off now so Toriel can't hear. Toriel continues reading for a while until the bell rings, indicating that it is time to go. The kids file out, but the boy was too into his game to notice, and was the only one sitting in their desk still. Toriel notices this and clears her throat again. The boy looks up.
"Oh..." he said. He quickly gets his things together, but ends up dropping his device. Toriel sighs and shake her head. She gets up and walks towards the boy. Starts putting his things in his backpack, and picks up his device that read gameboy on it. Toriel kneels down at the boy.
"You should really do some work and not on your device, okay?" She asked.
"Are you sure?" The boy asked, hiding his face behind his long orange bang. Toriel smiles.
"Yes." She said. The boy hugs Toriel.
"Thank you, Mrs. Toriel." He said.
"Now then, should you head home, from what I can tell, school's over." She said.
"Okay." He said. He smiles and waves as he leaves. "Bye!" He said. Toriel waves goodbye. She stands up and notices Principal Celestia at the door with a smile.
"Ah, hello Principal Celestia." She said.
"Well, I've got one thing to say. Another math teacher quite, so would you like to take their spot and work full time?" Celestia asked. Toriel has a wide smile on her face.
"Really!" She yelled. But then she remembers her family and her smile fades. "But, I just can't exactly leave my family everyday." She said.
"Not all teachers stay the full day. Some work half days, so maybe I could work something out for you." Celestia said. Toriel shakes her head.
"As tempting as it may be, I just couldn't leave my family, because I havn't been with them for years, and now we're finally back together. So, sorry to say this, even though it is my dream to be a teacher, I'm going to have to refuse." She said.
"I understand. But, if you need anything, just ask me, alright?" Principal Celestia said, smiling. "Glad to be working with you." She said. She holds out her hand. Toriel takes her hand and shakes it with a smile.
"And if you still need a substitute teacher, just text or give me a call." She said.
"I'll be sure to do that." Celestia said.
"Anyway, I should probably head back to Equestria." Toriel said.
"You do that." Celestia said, smiling. Toriel waves goodbye as she walks down the hallway.

Asgore was at home paying happily with the kids. "I'm gonna get you, Frisk!" He said.
"Nooo!" Frisk giggles as she runs. Asgore stumbles after her, not exactly knowing how to use an equine body.
"Come back here so I can give you your tickles!!" He yells. Frisk hides behind Applejack.
"Nooo, me no want tickles!" She giggles.
"Ah'll protect ya!" Applejack said as stands firmly between her and Asgore. Asgore smirks and charges, only to fall on his face.
"Oof!" He grunts. Asriel falls over laughing. Frisk peeks over at Asgore.
"Daddy, you okay?" She asked. Asgore groans and rubs his muzzle.
"Im okay." He said. He gets up slowly. Asriel continues to laugh. Frisk walks up to Asgore.
"Your brother seems to be happy." He said. Asriel stands up and tries to catch his breath.
"Sorry dad... I needed that." He apologized. Frisk pouts at Asriel. Asgore picks up Frisk. Frisk looks up at Asgore.
"Daddy!" She said happily. Asriel notices Twilight walking in his direction.
"I uh...want to talk to you about some stuff..." She said.
"Alright." Asgore said as he holds Frisk close. "And Frisk, think you could change back? You look better as yourself." He said.
"I guess. What is it you want to talk about?" Asriel said to Twilight. Frisk nods and concentrates. Her horn glows and she is engulfed in flames and turns back to normal.
"Follow me if it's okay." Twilight said. Asgore smiles.
"There's my little girl!" He said. He kisses her head. Asriel is confused but follows Twilight anyway. Frisk claps her hooves in happiness. Twilight leads him to a library. Asgore hugs her tight. Asriel looks around in awe. Frisk smiles at Asgore.
"So, how do you do what you did...when the chadelier almost fell on your mother?" Twilight asked.
"Who's my little filly!?" Asgore asked.
"What, this?" Asriel asked as he turns back into a alicorn.
"I am!" Frisk said.
"But...what causes it?" Twilight asked. Asgore smiles and runs a hoof along her name.
"My determination and my soul." Asriel said. Frisk smiles.
"Hmmm..." Twilight said. Asgore tightly hugs frisk not wanting to let go.
"I also have another form, but I only go into that form if things get dire. I can still go into it whenever I want, but still." Asriel said. Frisk yawns.
"Can you change again for me?" Twilight asked. Asgore smiles.
"Wanna go take a nap with daddy?" He asked. Asriel shakes his head.
"No. Because in this form right now, it's only a fraction of what I can do. If I go into that form I show you my full power, and I almost erased a timeline with it." He said. Frisk nods as she tries to stay awake.
"Oh that's too bad." Twilight said.
"Come little one." Asgore said as carries Frisk back to the bed and crawls in with her.
"Well actually, it was more like reset a human's timeline back to the time they first came to the underground. She wouldn't remember her friends that she made, and her progress that she did." Asriel said. Frisk snuggles against Asgore.
"That sounds sad..." Twilight said.
"There, there." Asgore said. He kisses her head and holds her on top of his chest. Asriel nods.
"It was." He said. Frisk yawns and falls asleep.
"Need a hug?" Twilight asked. Asgore smiles, rubbing a hoof along Frisk's back.
"Goodnight my little Frisk." He said. Asriel sniffs and nods, before turning back into a unicorn colt.
"Come here." Twilight said as she pulls Asriel into a hug, softly stroking his mane. Asriel cries slightly against Twilight.
"Shhhh, it's gonna be alright. You've got us now, Asriel." Twilight said, hugging him tightly. Asriel sniffs.
"Th...Thank you. I needed to get that out." He added.
"Anything for a friend, Asriel." Twilight said as she hugs him a bit longer before letting go. Asriel smiles as he wipes a tear.
"You're quite a cute little colt, huh?" Twilight asked. Asriel blushes slightly. Twilight ruffles his mane.
"Don't be sad, okay?" She asked. Asriel smiles and nods. Twilight smiles back and lowers her head to nuzzle his cheek.
"Now, why don't you go spend time with Asgore, huh? I have to go pick up Toriel." She said.
"Okay!" He said. Twilight gives him a small kiss on the head and teleports to the Canterlot Castle. Asgore smiles at Frisk as she sleeps, curled up on top of his chest. Asriel trots off back to Asgore.

Toriel exits the school with a smile. As she walks down the stairs she was thinking of how of a good day she had, when she bumps into someone.
"Oops, sorry." She apologized. She She looks and sees a girl on the ground that looks exactly like Twilight, except she was wearing glasses and had her hair in a bun. Twilight looked a little shocked.
"Uh...hi?" She asked. Toriel holds out a hand to her.
"Need help getting up?" She asked.
"Uh, yea." Twilight said. She slowly reaches a hand out. Toriel helps her up with a smile. Toriel sees Twilight come out fo the portal and quickly spots Toriel.
"Hey, Toriel! How'd your first day go?" She asked. "I see you've also met my counterpart!" She said. Toriel waves at Twilight.
"Oh hello Twilight." She said.
"Hi Twilight!" Twilight said.
"Oh...hey, Twilight..." Other Twilight said shyly.
"Oh, Twilight, there's nothing to be afraid of! " Twilight said assuringly, placing a hand on other Twilight's shoulder. Other Twilight smiled.
"Thanks, Twilight." She said.
"No problem, Twilight!" Twilight said happily. Toriel is slightly dazed at what they're talking about, before shaking her head.
"Wha?" She asked.
"So...how are things in your world, Twilight?" Other Twilight asked.
"Oh, things are great!" Twilight said. She looks at Toriel. "Ready to go back?" She asked. Toriel nods.
"I am." She said.
"Sorry, but I have to go, Twilight." Twilight said.
"Oh, it's no problem, Twilight." Other Twilight said. She smiled, leaving Twilight and Toriel to themselves.
"Bye Twilight!" Twilight said. Toriel waves goodbye to the other Twilight.
"So, how was your first day?" Twilight asked. Toriel smiles.
"It went very well." She said.
"Thats good!" Twilight said as she pats Toriel on the back. "Also, Asriel misses you." She said. Toriel laughs slightly.
"I knew he would. Let's head back." She said.
"No problem!" Twilight said. She teleports them back to the crystal castle. Toriel smiles as she stretches.
"Ah, it's good to be back." She said. Asriel sees Toriel.
"Mommy!" He yells.
"No she's MY mommy!" Twilight said, hugging Toriel and giggles. "Nah, I'm kidding." She said. Asriel runs up to Toriel. Toriel looks at Twilight with a raised eyebrow. Twilight playfully tackles Asriel before he reaches Toriel.
"He's mine! I'm gonna cut him up, boil him, and give him tickles!" She yelled as she blows onto his stomach. Asriel squeals with laughter as he flails his hooves. Toriel smiles at the scene. Twilight giggles and places him on her back.
"If you don't mind, Toriel, I'll just be taking him now." She said. She smirks and starts to walk away.
"Just be careful with him!" Toriel yelled. Twilight tosss him off her back, but seals him in her magic just before he lands on the ground.
"Safe enough?" She asked. Toriel nods.
"Hmmm...how about this?" Twilight asked. And with a pop, there was a thumb tak on the floor, with the needle pointing up. Toriel looks at it with confusion. Twilight slowly lowers Asriel closer to it. Toriel has a look of anger in her eyes as she charges at Twilight. Twilight manages do dodge, and the thumb tak disappears.
"Woah!" She yelled. Toriel looks at Twilight with hatred.
"Never. Ever. Do. That. To. My. Son!" She yelled.
"Of course not, Toriel! I would never hurt him. He's...he...is so cute i dont think i could yell at him if I wnted to." Twilight said, hugging him. "I love this little guy." She said. Toriel takes deep breaths.
"Anyway, I think Asriel should attend school." She said.
"Huh?" Asriel asked.
"Awe! Maybe your mom will be your teacher huh? " Twilight asked. She ruffles Asreil's mane.
"Maybe." Toriel said, shrugging.
"That would be cool." Asriel said. Twilight giggles since she was still holding Asriel.
"Toriel, I just have to say, you made one adorable child! He's co cute!" She said happily. Asriel blushes. Toriel laughs slightly at the scene.
"He is adorable." She said.
"I wanna keep him." Twilight said, giggling. "But he's your son." She said. Toriel nods.
"That he is." She said. Twilight smiles and nuzzles Asriel.
"Go to your mother I bet she would like to hold and hug you now." She said, letting go of Asriel. Asriel runs up and hugs Toriel.
"Mommy!" He yells. Toriel smiles and hugs him.
"Awe, so cute!" Twilight said. Toriel nuzzles Asriel. Asriel smiles.
"Asgore and Frisk are sleeping in the room." Twilight said. Toriel nods and lifts Asriel onto her back.
"Okay. Let's go Asriel. Let's go say hi to daddy." She said. Asriel nods.
"Okay." He said as they made their way to Asgore. Asgore was fast asleep, holding his little Frisk close to him. Toriel opens the door and sees Asgore asleep. She smiles.
"Want me to close the door?" Twilight asked. Toriel looks back at her.
"If you'd like." She said. Twilight shrugs and closes te door. Asgore wakes with a yawn. Toriel smiles at Asgore.
"Hello, sweetie." She said. Frisk mumbles something in her sleep.
"Toriel! H-how was school? I've been here holding our little Frisk." He said.
"I can see that." Toriel said. Frisk's leg twitches as she mumbles some more. Asgore smiles and kisses her head.
"Such a cutie. Come lay down, Toriel." He said. Toriel smiles and nods. She walks up to the bed and lays Asriel, who is asleep, next to Asgore, before climbing in. Asgore reaches a foreleg around Toriel and holds her close.
"I love you, my beautiful wife." He said.
"I love you too." Toriel said.
"Wanna hold Frisk?" He asked. Toriel smiles and nods. She carefully lifts Frisk off of Asgore's back and places it next to her and Asriel. She curls up around them and watches Frisk snuggle against Asriel. Asgore smiles.
"They're so cute." He said.
"They are. I know I've said this already, but I'm so happy that were back." She said.
"I know, honey, I am too." He said. He kisses her on the forehead. Toriel smiles, then yawns.
"I love you so much. But...who rules the underground now? Undyne maybe? Heh, then everybody would be forced to train to be like her I bet. I heard she had a crush on Alphys." Asgore said. Toriel looks at Asgore.
"Really now?" She asked.
"Just a rumor, I don't know." He said. He takes Asriel into his arms. Toriel yawns again as her eyes fall halfway down her eyes.
"Sleep well. you need your rest." He said. Toriel nods and closes her eyes, falling asleep a few minutes later. Asgore kisses her head and falling asleep a few minutes later.

Toriel is sitting in a chair next to a crackling fire in her fireplace, reading her favorite book, 72 uses for snails. It was a calm night, a slight breeze whistling through the leaves outside, causing some to move. She closes her book and sighs, taking off her reading glasses. It was cold, other than the fire, since the place was located underground. Toriel gets off the chair and onto her feet. She enters the kitchen next to the living room and sees what was left of the cinnamon-butterscotch pie sitting on the counter. A memory of the human named frisk taking the slice of pie from her popped into her head. The scent of the cinnomon sailed into her nostrils, as if begging to be eaten. She ignores the delicious smell and walks out of the kitchen. She walks to the entryway and walks down the stairs towards the gates that Frisk went through. The smell of cinnamon lingered in a slight scent in her nose, making the thought of consuming a slice become a larger possibility. Toriel stoped in front of the gate, it's purple doors looming over her. She remembered when Frisk proved to her that she can take care of herself. Toriel began to worry, wondering if Frisk would be okay. She knew Frisk was quite frisky, and her deeds were rather risky, especially under the influence of whiskey. She shakes her head and walks back to her home. Thee smell of the pie assaulted her nostrils again. As she started to climb the stairs, she heard a thud coming from the top of the stairs. She blinks.
"Hello? Is anyone there?" She asked. It was a bump, and how that bump made her jump. As she neared the top of the stairs she sees something that she has never seen. It looked like a tiara with a purple starburst on it. She also saw a note attached to it. She takes the note and opens it.
"Would you like to come to the surface?" The note said. Toriel blinks multiple times.
"Is this some sort of joke?" She asked in a bemused manner. She looks around. "Asgore! If this is some sort of joke to get me back, it's not going to work!" She yelled. There was no reply. Toriel looks back at the tiara with her dragon eyes.
"If he didn't drop you here, then who did?" She muttered.
"Twilight Sparkle" It said on the bottom of the note.
"Twilight... Sparkle?" She asked. She picked up the tiara. But as soon as she did, she felt dizzy. The Tiara emitted a bright purple glow from the star. Toriel's vision started to get blurry as the world started to spin. She fell with a thud to the floor. She gave a moan before losing consciousness. Toriel moaned again as she started to come back around. She slowly opened her eyes. The world around her was vibrant in colors, with a wide open sky above her. She looks around.
"Wha...what?" She asked. She stands up on all fours. She looks down and her eyes widen. Instead of her white furred hands, she sees white hooves. As she looks at her new hooves, her breathing quickens. She looks around and sees that shes in a forest. Everything was calm and quiet. Toriel carefully takes a step, her new legs wobbling. She slowly takes another and another until she could slowly walk. She found herself next to a lake and looks at herself. She sees an all white equine with a long horn wearing her robe stare back at her. She could also see that she still has her dragon eyes. She looks behind and sees that she has bumps on her back. She lifts her robe back to reveal beautiful wings. She put the robe back the way it was and saw a mark on her flank. She sees a heart surrounded by a flame. She thought the fire was engulfing the heart, but as she looked closer, she could see that the fire surrounded the heart like a shield, protecting it. There was a rustle in a nearby bush. Toriel turns towards the bush with a slight gasp. There was a small yip. She stared at the bush with confusion. Then there was a whimper. She carefully walks towards the bush. A wooden object fell out of the bush. Toriel stares at the object.
"Huh?" She asked. She looks back at the bush in front of her and parts it. There lay a wolf like creature, about as small as a cat, with its right hind leg stuck in a tree root. Toriel gasps. "Oh my. Hold on little one, let me get you out of there." She said. She reaches for the tree root that's holding the wooden wolf like creature. The wolf whimpers and whines in fear.
"Shhh, it's okay little one, I'm not going to hurt you." She said. The wolf seemed to understand and calmed down. Toriel frees the wolf's leg from the tree root. "There we go, you're free now." She said. The wolf licked Toriel's cheek and rose its flank into the air with his head low, panting. Toriel chuckles at the wooden wolf and lightly pats it's head. The pup pounced up and grasped her hoof, playfully. Toriel smiles at the wooden wolf pup.
"Do you have a home or a family little one?" She asked it. The pup wagged his tail and ran off to the right, looking back at Toriel. She follows the wolf pup. The pup leads her through some bushes and into a large cave. She continues to follow the wooden wolf pup with not one bit of fear. Inside, there were three more wooden wolves. Two were large and fully grown, the other was a pup, but smaller than the other one. The largest of the wolves stood up and approached Toriel. Toriel looks at the large wolf with curiosity. The wolf sniffs her for a bit and licks her cheek. She smiles. The pup pounced and jumped around in front of Toriel. She slightly giggles as she played with the pup. The pup tackled her hoof. Toriel smiles wider as she continues to play with the pup. It jumped and latched onto her chest.
"Oh, careful now little one, you don't want to damage my robe." Toriel said. He giggled and went to her back, where he jumped to the top of her head and yipped. The other wolves watched curiously, the other pup hid behind the mother. Toriel sees the other wolf pup hide behind the mother wolf. She kneels down until she's laying on her stomach.
"It's okay little one, you don't have to be shy." She said. The mother wolf picked her up in her mouth and set her down in front of Toriel, followed by a few reasurring licks. The other pup was chewing on Toriel's mane. She carefully holds her hoof out. The pup back up a bit, whimpering slightly. Toriel pulls back her hoof.
"Maybe next time little one." She said. The mother holds the pup. The one atop Toriel's head ended up getting tangled in her mane. Toriel looks up at the tangled wolf pup. "Hold on, I'll get you untangled." She said. The pup wiggled and wriggled. Even with the wolf pup wriggling, Toriel managed to free the pup from her mane. The pup slipped and fell in front of her. Her horn starts to glow a fire red and the pup is caught before it hits the floor. The pup looked around, confused. Toriel's eyes widen as she looks up and sees that her horn is lit. She looks back at the floating pup and has a idea. She concentrates and the floating pup is gently set onto the floor. The pup giggles. Toriel sighs in relief and smiles, knowing that the pup is okay. The pup hugs Toriel. The male adult licks the pup. She smiles and looks at the male adult wolf.
"Um, excuse me, I don't want to be rude, but is there a town or village nearby?" She asked. The wolf stood and exited the cave. She stood as well and followed the wolf. He stood outside the cave and pointed down a dirt trail. Toriel nods and looks at him.
"I will see you soon whenever I can." She said. He nodded. The male pup came running out and jumped onto her back and hugged her neck. Toriel smiled and carefully hugged the pup back. It licked her cheek a few times before running back to his father. She waved goodbye as she walked down the path. It had begun to rain. She looks up.
"Oh dear, I better hurry before my robe is ruined." She said. She begins to go at a faster pace. It was a slight rain, a little above sprinkling. As she went, she stepped on a rock and tripped, causing her to face plant into the ground.
"Ow." She moaned. Wet mud clung to her fur and robe. She stands up and brushed as much of the mud off as possible, only getting a little bit off. She sighs and continues to walk down the path. She ended up tripping over a tree root not too long later, getting covered in more mud. After walking and tripping for a little bit longer, she sees a town with a Crystal castle.
"I guess this is the town." She said. A few passing fillies saw Toriel and ran away screaming. Toriel watches the fillies run away with confusion.
"Um, okay?" She asked. She then realized how much mud she was covered in. She tries to wipe off as much mud as possible, but so much has clung to her fur that she's having trouble. She groaned in frustration. She gave up, only managing to get off only a little bit of mud. She walks towards the town. More passing ponies stare at her as they go by. Toriel ignores the stares as she continued to walk, looking at the town. Some of the ponies ducked into the nearest building. She walked around, lost and didn't know what to do. Nopony said a word to her. She stopped and stood there, rubbing her head with her right fore hoof because of a headache forming. Closing doors from retreating aponies, and the rain hitting the ground were the only sound to be heard. Toriel looked around and saw a building next to her, a building that looked like a carousel. She walks up to the building. The lights were on, and there was yelling within. She knocks on the door. There was a gasp, and a clang.
"Coming!" A voice said. Toriel waited patiently. A white unicorn mare appeared in the door, with a frazzled purple mane.
"Uh, sorry, Just some..." The mare stopped talking and notices Toriel covered in mud. Her jaw drops and the door shuts.
"Well that was quite rude." Toriel said with a bemused face. She knocks on the door again, this time a little harder. The door opens and the mare appears again.
"Sorry, I just wasn't expectin a mud covered pony...twice my height come to my doorstep and I may have gotten a bit scared..." She said.
"It's okay, I just came from the forest outside of town, that's why I am covered in mud, kept tripping over roots and rocks." Toriel said.
"Oh, well, uh...how should I go about doing this?" The mare asked.
"I just need some place to wash my robe and to wash this mud off. Do you know of a place where I could do those?" Toriel asked.
"Yeah, the shower is upstairs..." The mare said.
"Thank you Miss um." Toriel said.
"Rarity." The mare said.
"Thank you Miss Rarity. My name is Toriel." Toriel said. She walks into the building. Rarity puts a hoof over her nose. Toriel walks up the stairs and into the bathroom that Rarity told her about. She flipped the switch to what could be an overly decorated bathroom. "Wow." Toriel said. She looks around in amazement.
"I've never seen a bathroom so clean before." Toriel said.
"What was that darling?" Rarity asked. Toriel looks back a Rarity.
"I said I've never seen a bathroom this clean before." Toriel said.
"Oh yeah, I'm sort of a germophobe." Rarity said.
"I see." Toriel said. Her horn lights and she carefully removes her robe, freeing her wings, which have some mud attached to them. Rarity gasps.
"You're an alicorn!?" She yelled. Toriel looks at Rarity with confusion.
"Alicorn?" She asked.
"How...do you not know what you are...or are you just playing with me?" Rarity asked. There's confusion in Toriel's dragon eyes as she blinks. Rarity faints.
"Oh dear." Toriel said. She walks towards Rarity, just as another pony walks in. This time a filly. Toriel looks at the filly. The filly screams at a really high pitched wail. Toriel jumps in fright.
"You killed Rarity! You bastard!" The filly yelled.
"No, no, no! She just fainted, you can see so." Toriel said. The filly begins hyperventilating. Toriel points a hoof at Rarity, showing that she is still breathing.
"...oh..." The filly said. Toriel was about to say something, when she heard the front door bang open.
"Search everywhere!" said a voice and several hoofsteps were heard through the building.
"Who was that?" Toriel asked.
"You're in big trouble. " The filly said. She ran to the stairs. "Up here guys!" She yelled. Toriel shakes her head in confusion.
"What?" She asked. Soon six poines came running up the stairs.
"Rarity!" Yelled a purple pony that has wings and a horn like Toriel. Toriel tilts her head in confusion.
"Huh?" She asked.
"She did it!" The filly yelled, pointing at Toriel. Toriel was about to say something, but was slammed into the wall by a rainbow blur. She cries out in pain.
"Who do you think you are to hurt our friends!?" The rainbow mane'd pegasi holding her yelled. There was fear in Toriel's eyes as she looks at the Rainbow mane'd pegasi.
"I didn't hurt her, she fainted when she learned that I was an alicorn." She said.
"Lies!!" The rainbow pegasi yelled. As Toriel was slammed against the wall a second time, she cried out in pain again.
"Rainbow, I think she's had enough, and Rarity is still breathing." The purple alicorn said.
"Fine." Rainbow grunted. She glares at Toriel. Toriel looks at the ponies with fear as she sits on her flank.
"I can tell you've been having a bad day. You're covered in mud, being accused of killing my friend, and shoved into a wall." The purple alicorn said. She sighs. "Girls, get Rarity to her room." She said. The other ponies nodded and did as told.
"I am very sorry, miss..." She said.
"T-Toriel." Toriel said.
"Tutorial?" The alicorn asked. Toriel shakes her head.
"No, Toriel. To-ri-el." She said.
"Oh! You stuttered and made it sound like tutorial. " The alicorn said. She blushed from embarrassment. "Sorry." She apologized. She holds a hoof out to help Toriel up. Toriel grabs the purple alicorn's hoof and stands up, towering over her.
"Wow...you're s-so tall!" The alicorn stammered. Toriel looks down at the purple alicorn with her dragon eyes.
"Oh, um, I don't mind it. And, I never got your name." She said.
"It's Twilight Sparkle." The purple alicorn said. Toriel's eyes widen.
"Wait, Twilight Sparkle?" She asked.
"Yes?" Twilight asked.
"So it was your tiara that brought me here." Toriel said.
"What are you talking about?" Twilight asked, tilting her head in confusion.
"Well, when I was in my home underground, I was walking up the stairs when I heard a thud a the top. I see a tiara with a purplish color starburst in the middle. When I touched it, it brought me here." Toriel explained.
"...That wasn't me..." Twilight said. Toriel was quite shocked.
"Then, if it wasn't you who sent me here, the who did?" She asked.
"I have no clue to be honest. Did you say you live underground?" Twilight asked. Toriel nods.
"I did." She said.
"How come?" Twilight asked.
"I always lived underground, mostly in a house in some ruins." Toriel said.
"What do you do there?" She asked. Toriel suddenly gasps.
"Oh, no, no, no, no, no! If I don't get back home, anything that falls into the underground will be lost without me!" She yelled. Toriel started to panic.
"What do you mean by anything? Like living beings?" Twilight asked. Toriel still continues to panic.
"Yes." She said.
"That doesn't seem too good..." Twilight said. Toriel quickly puts back on her robe, ignoring the mud and runs past Twilight and out of the room.
"No no, no, no, no, no, no! I must get back." She said. Twilight follows.
"How will you even know where to go?" She asked. Toriel suddenly stoped.
"I.... I don't know. I've never been to the surface. Usually there's a giant hole leading down to the underground." She said. She hangs her head low. Twilight puts a hoof on her shoulder.
"I'm sure things will be fine." She reassured. Toriel looks at Twilight with a slight smile.
"Thank you." She said.
"Do you know what part of Equestria you're from?" Twilight asked. Toriel shakes her head.
"No. I lived underground my entire life. So, no I don't." She said.
"Whats so dangerous down where you live anyway?" Twilight asked.
"I lived with monsters." Toriel said.
"Oh, that's not good..." Twilight said.
"Oh, no, don't worry. We did make a fine civilization in the underground. There were monsters ranging from snow drakes to walking volcanoes. Even Miss. Muffet, with the help of her spiders, do make very good pastries. And its all runned by a king named King Asgore." Toriel said.
"Wow, I've never heard anything like that before!" Twilight said in surprise. Toriel nods.
"Everyone was happy. We even had royal guards." She said. Twilight nods.
"And... well. Asgore was sorta into me and... made me queen." Toriel said, blushing slightly.
"That's nice, and what creatures usually fall down the hole?" Twilight asked.
"Human mostly." Toriel said.
"Human? How can that be possible!? There's no humans in this world, except the world parallel to this one." Twilight said.
"Well, there has been six humans to have fallen down into the underground. And you said that there is a world parallel to this one?" Toriel asked. Twilight nods.
"Where there are human counterparts to everypony here, there." She said. Toriel is interested.
"I've only seen those six humans, but a whole world filled with them, I would like to see. I've read about humans in my books." She said.
"What were the humans like you encountered?" Twilight asked.
"Well, they were like the skeletons, except with flesh and hair." Toriel said.
"I see." Twilight said.
"But I would still like to see this other world." Toriel said.
"Oh, I don't know about that..." Twilight said. she rubbed the back of her neck with a sheepish expression.
"Well, why not?" Toriel asked.
"It's complicated." Twilight said.
"Let me guess, it's being guarded." Toriel said.
"That, and only I am permitted to go through." Twilight said. Toriel rolls her eyes.
"I'm not surprised." She said. Twilight tilted her head from the sudden change in mood Toriel had.
"How come." She asked.
"Asgore hid things from me and guarded them from me, such as five human souls that he had collected." Toriel said.
"Souls? So...he killed them!?" Twilight yelled, looking rather shocked.
"I don't know, he probably did, or they died of other reasons. I don't know. But after I found out that he has them, I was through with him. So, I left him and lived in the ruins." Toriel said.
"Oh dear...so what did you do with any humans then that came down the hole?" Twilight asked.
"I asked them if they wanted to stay with me. I always wanted to be a teacher. But, they left all the same, except one." Toriel said.
"Where is that one now?" Twilight asked.
"She left as well, but she stayed the longest. She even slept in the room I had made for her." Toriel said.
"I assume you also want to be a mother." Twilight said. Toriel slightly blushes and nods.
"I'm sorry..." she said.
"It's okay." Toriel said. She heard a door open and looks. She sees the other ponies except Rarity come out of the room. Rainbow looks rather guilty.
"Hey..sorry for you know...pushing you..." She apologized. Toriel looks at her.
"It's okay." She said.
"I thought you hurt my friend..." Rainbow said. Toriel looks at Rainbow like how a teacher looks at a student who is in trouble.
"You should really think before you act. You nearly gave me a heart attack." She said.
"S-sorry..." Rainbow apologized. Toriel sighs.
"Just don't do it again." She said. Rainbow hugs Toriel. Toriel hugs Rainbow back. Suddenly Rarity came out looking weak and tired. Toriel looks at Rarity.
"Are you okay Miss. Rarity?" She asked.
"Yeah I'm fine. Thanks Darling." Rarity said. Toriel smiles.
"That's good. And... I still need to get this mud off of me. It's starting to irritate my wings." She said.
"Oh yes take your shower then." Rarity said. Toriel nods and walks back into the bathroom, closing the door behind her.
"So uh...now what?" Twilight asked. Toriel takes off her robe and starts the shower. Rarity sighed.
"I guess I'll go and wash her robe as an apology for her troubles." She said. Toriel tries her best to get the mud off of her. Rarity went downstairs where she went into the washroom to wash the robe. Toriel tries to grab the soap with her hooves, but it slips.
"Just tell us if you need anything!" Twilight yelled. Toriel looks up at the door.
"Will do!" She yelled back. Twilight smiles. Toriel grabs the soap with her magic.
"I have you now." She said. The girls went downstairs. After minutes of scrubbing the mud off, she was clean. She turns the shower off and get out. She notices that her robe wasn't here.
"Huh, where'd it go?" She asked. She walks out of the bathroom. Rarity lets out a sigh as she hung the robe to dry. As Toriel walks down the hallway, she sees the filly that screamed at her, along with two other fillies headed in her direction.
"Hey, um..my sister told me to say sorry for acusing you of killing her, so... I'm sorry..." The filly that screamed at her said. She looked down sadly. Toriel looks down at her with kindness.
"It's okay little one, you were just protecting your family, I can understand that." Toriel said.
"But I got you beaten up and everything..." The filly said. Toriel kneels downs to the filly.
"Look, you shouldn't be angry at yourself, it's not your fault, you didn't know. I would probably do the same if somepony that was dear to me was hurt." She said.
"I still feel bad about it.." the filly said.
"What would make you happy?" Toriel asked. The filly shrugs.
"Dunno." She said. Toriel stands up.
"Oh yea, I forgot your names." She said.
"I'm Sweetie Belle, and these two are Applebloom and Scootaloo!" The filly said, pointing a hoof at the two other fillies behind her.
"Hello to you three. My name is Toriel." Toriel said.
"We heard." Sweetie belle said, smiling weakly. Toriel smiles back.
"So...you're an alicorn...do you have like some sort of royal duty?" Scootaloo asked.
"Well, where I was from, I was a queen. But not anymore." Toriel said.
"Well, what happened?" Applebloom asked. Toriel looks away with a slightly sad look.
"I... don't really want to talk about it." She said.
"Awe, it's okay." Applebloom said. Toriel looks back with a smile.
"Thank you. Now, shall we see if Rarity is done with my robe?" She asked.
"Okay!" Sweetie belle said. She turns and trots down the stairs with Scootaloo and Applebloom. Toriel follows behind the three fillies.
