The Creation

Discord, finally free from his literal stone- metaphorical shackles thanks to a few rambunctious fillies-  began to pace around in a location far away from Canterlot. In fact, it was his throne room situated in the Badlands. The very one that had been sealed off from the rest of Equestria. He craned his head back to look behind him. There sat the very throne he had been thinking of.

"'Princess'" He said madly, yet with clear disdain etched on his face. "-Celestia, thinks by sealing away my throne she can erase the past. Of course it helps that the only creatures that knew about it-" He paused. "-Sans the Elder Dragons, of course." He added as an after-thought. "Are all dead. It's been many years, long overdue for a good sitting in." With that said, he found his rear end parked in the cold stone throne. "Of course, she expected me to remain frozen in time forever. Perhaps I shall visit her precious little city and throw in a few cotton candy clouds..." He thought, idly raising his talon to caress his majestic snow white beard.  "Maybe a cloud raining chocolate... No, chocolate milk." The mismatched God frowned after a moment.

"That aberration of a 'Goddess' is probably expecting that." He sneered. Normally, while not so malicious- He'd been locked up for over a thousand years. He was far from a saint. The furthest, actually. This was a whole new ball game. The rules had shifted when she'd put him into a position where he couldn't even scratch his butt for a millennium.

"Ah, speaking of which." He reached down, slowly retracting his talon and scratching the itch that'd been bothering him ever since he had been encased in stone. He then let out a content sigh of relief.  "Much better! Now, where was I?" He asked himself bemusedly.  "Ah yes, the wretched- Yet ever so lovely 'Princess' Celestia." He said, waving paw, causing an orb of light to glow a deep ocean blue to appear which began showing the Princess along with her cute little ponies searching around for himself. It was quite amusing to say the least. He was a true God, no normal God. He could shift every reality to his whim. Created Heavens, created Hells. Singlehandedly defeated C'thulu- The Old One. Of course, he was waiting to gather back all his magic from that fight... He was a shell of his former shelf, until he could gather it all back he was stuck with what he had left. Which was still more than five Luna's and ten Celestia's combined. It hardly mattered. However, those damnable Elements of Harmony were something even he could not defeat. Could not harm, nor the bearers that he'd seen Celestia try to create over the years to bring back her sister- And failed to make them. Until, recently with that new Sparkle girl.

"Reduced to hiding... Those elements of harmony are truly something. If I could get my hands on those... But, how?..." Discord sat back in his new recliner throne, kicking his feet up and letting them rest on the chair. "The Elements are immune to my mind-magic this time around. Sure I can create- Or rouse armies to fight at my side. But that's just not... Fun. Taking over the world was easy as cake, and is still quite easy. I need something..." He drummed his digits one by one on the recliners arm. "Something new! Something she wouldn't expect! I'm Chaos Incarnate! I can't be predictable. I need something I've never done before. Something she wouldn't expect of me! But... what?"

But what hadn't this humble handsome Draconequus done indeed. He'd swam with the sharks, wrestled with alligators- literally. He'd sent armies to take over this world, but took over without violence in the already ruined world. Violence wasn't something he usually did. And it certainly didn't need to be applied here. Anything short of a murderer or a slaver he wouldn't quite be violent with. Unless it's called for it, violence just wasn't his thing. Being loud and proud, proclaiming to the world obnoxiously that he was there and he was going to force an impression on it was his thing. He just wasn't subtle-

...

"...That's it." He muttered, rolling the magical scrying orb on his arms- into his paw where he threw it behind him- thoughtfully he raised his talon to scratch his beard once more. A look of amazement plastered on his face, and a mischievous glint in his red glowing eyes. A predatory grin filled with jagged sharp teeth filled his face. "Subtle... I've never once been subtle! Of course, I love pulling strings behind the curtains- But never have I been outright... subtle..."

CRASH!

He ignored the sound of the glass shattering and breaking against his ancient bookshelf. A much more important matter was a hand.  "She wouldn't expect me to be subtle! Subtle subtle subtle... I like that word now, more than ever..." He let out a diabolical, manic, please laughter at the conclusion. "What could I do... to be subtle?" He'd thought of  so many scenarios. But he wanted to have the elements at the end of it while having fun. Hopefully it wouldn't end up with him back in the stone. If he escaped again he'd have to forgo everything and just kill Celestia. She was no longer the bearer after all. He decided then, his favorite method of spreading chaos was causing emotional pain to others- So what would make them angry...

What could ruffle their jimmies?

The thought came to him in seconds. Himself. It was his, dare he say; Special talent. But what else?...

Other ponies.

Other ponies made other ponies mad with their actions. So what he needed, was another pony! One not so boring, so stuffy. Sure he could just abduct the nearest Pony and chaos control them- but he'd never gotten over the whole 'gray' thing when they're controlled. He couldn't control anyPONY for this task. So he'd need something, someone else.

Why don't *I** do it?*

The thought was so sudden, and so unlike him he scarcely recognized as himself. But it was perfect, no? He wouldn't have to be  sitting around in abeyance to bide for time. He could take every action personally. No incompetent underlings to fuzz things up. With a pleased smile, he once again groomed his beard with his claws. His red eyes filled with glee. Yes, everything was becoming so clear to him now.  But it wasn't as if anyone would trust him if he walked up and claimed to be good. It was just downright idiotic to think so. Instead, he needed a disguise...

Said Pony from earlier, has now become a disguise indeed.

"But what disguise could I use?" He wondered idly, moving his paw to lazily scratch his butt once more. "...One vaunted, maybe. Maybe a dead one? But hardly anyone in Equestria dies." Which was good in his opinion. These ponies were so boring, so he'd need to do something extra special for this one. Celestia always seemed to look to those future showing glass mirror in her little castle. Maybe it wouldn't be so hard to... adjust it, a little. He snapped his paw digits- And soon, a list of pony names came to him along with a pair of reading glasses on his face. He casually stuck up his index Talon and turned the page of the already opened book. Without further ado, he began scrolling through the name list. After about five seconds(which for Discord felt like it took years) he'd gone through the book of names in a blur. He tossed behind him to the shattered glass orb. The book landed with a satisfying crunch of glass before the book also shattered. All that was left to do, was to pick a pony.

Lazily holding up his paw again, he'd held a conjured weakened version of the Crystal Heart. The thought had occurred to him during reading. The most powerful form of affection, was infact; love. Which he'd be able to duplicate subtly.

Subtly... It was fixing in all together. So nicely. He should have done this ages ago. This in mind, he conjured up a blank pony canvas of a body. Easy to be adjusted to his liking. Normally, he'd pick something wild or wacky. But he knew for this job, he'd had to be tamed. Though, it did help he could make his body a little bit snow-flakey. He'd shoved the crystal heart fake into into it's body. It would act as a soul-husk. A blank soul that allowed another soul to hide in- he knew how to create it after much soul magic. Which would come in hand here. Every creature had a sense of danger, and a sense of compulsion. It was a sense that told them who to avoid, and who to flock to. It was because, deep down on a level they'd never understand- They could actually sense souls. And his soul was like a blood red beacon in a pitch black abyss. It absolutely radiated malicious intent. Which is why they snarled, and batted him away seemingly. They were afraid, and knew he was different. So, under the disguise of a pure soul- One cleaner than any other soul and managing to be an adult at the same time- Was all but a saint, it would make them flock to the body easily.

He then began working working on charms. Charms were something that he liked. Succubus favored this magic as well, for it made creatures see whatever they wanted to in a  person- Even if it wasn't. It was basically, a false love magic. Magic that could control ponies and any other creature subconsciously. Though, as he did so he made sure it wasn't awfully strong. He just wanted it to match up with the pure soul. Together, it radiated a gold light so sweet even the most evil of creatures this world had seen would be swayed to likely give up their ways to follow it's own. For Discord, it was both pleasing and disgusting. He was just glad no soul actually existed like it. It was so bright, so unbelievably so. It'd bring happiness where ever it went by the dozens. Luck would be upon anyone passing the creature. Not even the element of kindness's soul was anywhere near this pure.

Lastly, it was time for the pony's look. He wasn't awfully good at that, but it helped he'd gathered some information on what he maybe should pick. Creatures seemed to love the long flowing hair that the Element of Kindness possessed. Yet, the sheer form a beauty that the element of generosity possessed. In fact, all of the elements held high quality- both from their elements and their personality that seemed to fit this creation's criteria- Which was simple.

Tearing them apart from the inside. It wouldn't be so hard.

He was good at faking emotions.

Lazily, he flicked his wrist and conjured forth on the pony the form of- What Discord would humbly call; "The Most Beautiful Pony In All Existence".

There was on the peda-stool across from where he sat on his recliner was a pony, this pony had a long draping- Yet curling brunette locks that were almost to the pedastool- But not quite. The mane radiated beauty worthy of Celestia- minus the flowing mane she possessed. It was almost like it was glowing, with it's light brown high-lights. It's eyes were a deep mixture between fuchsia and pink- lacking any pupils- Which was quite unnerving. It was creepy in a way that it felt like his creation was alive and was peering into it's soul. An ability that he was sure the Element of Kindness and Laughter possessed. They were looking at him, like twin mirrors-SUCKING IN HIS SOUL-

"That's enough of that." He said off-handedly, quickly adding two black pupils until further notice. The effect was still there slightly, just not as much. The coat was a caramel brown. Honestly, it looked as the doll had spent hours doing make up and beautifying itself up. Without the horrible make-up and lipstick. It had curves, filled out like a super model. Though he wasn't sexist, he wasn't going to be a female while posing. Therefore, he was going to be just a very pretty colt in his opinion. A colt that would make both genders stop and stare. Now came the hardest decision.

"Unicorn... Earth Pony, Or Pegasus?" The thought of being an Unicorn was the more obvious solution. He made his way to put on the horn.

Subtle...

The thought was again taking up his interests. Yes, subtle. In this case that meant not doing the obvious. A Unicorn was obvious. They couldn't blame anything magical on this body... If it didn't have a horn. Even without it, he could easily use his magic by merely willing it. Sadly he'd have to forgo chaos magic and go with a stronger version of Unicorn magic. All this done, he now decided it was time to get this ball rolling.

And boy would it roll.
