twilight had been on vacation from her royal duties and stepped through the portal much to the surprise of the other girls.

it's me, twilight said, I have so much free time since I have been given a vacation by my mentor.
it was true she did have a lot of free time though twilight noticed everyone's faces where down cast.

well twilight, eh darling we where talking about what happened that changed our fair nation of America tragically it also is the day that new York's tallest buildings where destroyed. rarity said sadly.
what's America? and what tragedy? twilight asked.

rarity looked at the others she knew that she was the only one who remembers being in new York on September 11th which was today.
well darling as you probably know your rarity I too am a fashionessta but I was not always one though. she hesitated as she thought back on that day. I was a office worker's daughter who grew up in the big city of new York. in 2001 September 11th was a day that had to be honest started normally also I had just gotten coffee for my mom in the north tower on the 4th floor of the world trade center. she began.
hold on, what's the world trade center? twilight asked.
the girls looked at each other and then to their amazement sunset spoke up.
twilight the world trade center is a structure of seven tall buildings two of the world trade center buildings where the newest American icon at the time. there nickname was the twin towers because of the two identical buildings that where taller then the other structures. she stated.

well as I had mentioned earlier I had just brought my mom some coffee and when I went to get my self something to drink as well I happened to notice a passenger jet coming straight toward the north tower, and I will admit that I swore and said loudly everyone get out were about to be hit by a jet. I had screamed at the top of my lungs and everyone looked at me with faces of amusement my mom however told everyone to do as she had said. and everyone did as she said. and followed me to the ground floor and out of the building and then the plane struck.
to this statement everyone gasped, twilight being the loudest.
there was a big explosion that shook the ground and we then realized that we where under attack.
then the bell cut rarity off. as it was time to go home.
