Once more, Written Word dashed through the pouring rain in a vain attempt to get to her home. With the snare drum, wet with sweat and raindrops at her side, she splashed through puddles as she ran. The concert had been a smash hit, with ponies cheering her name and stallions offering roses and free drinks. But what pained her the most was that Long Division was nowhere to be found in the deep crowd.

Suddenly there was a flash of pure white in the darkness, and a pair of ice blue eyes peered out from the rainy depths.

In an instant Long Division was upon her, levitating a small umbrella that could only cover one pony. He put it over her.

"Why are you here?" she asked. He didn't answer.

Then he leaned forward, and touched her ear gently. As soft as could be, he whispered six words that made both of them smile:

"Oh, your love is a symphony..."
