Can you feel it? No, of course you can't. It is nothing, not an iota of pain, fear, sadness or even joy. You can't feel, not anymore.
Your worst fear has finally overcome you: death. It will happen to everyone at some point, yet you still feel like you need to ask someone, anyone the question that is presently on your mind, 'Why me?'. I don't know.
Ah... Do you see that? That lifeless form used to be you. It's nothing but an empty shell now, your lingering presence in the world, staying until someone finds and disposes of it. Yes, your own body, which you tried so hard to keep in excellent shape, is now nothing but a future home to worms and other creatures that call the soil their home.
Maybe it will form another being, and she will face this exact same destiny, having this exact same conversation. History does tend to repeat itself, and you were no exception. Despite this very fact, I still find it strange to see how people react after a friend or relative passes away. They only show true emotion towards you before you kick the bucket; as if they never wanted their true feelings to be heard.
I bet you wish you have been honest with everyone, told them how you truly felt. Did you ever tell any of your friends that you loved them? Love is a funny emotion, it seems to be the strongest when there is no way left for it to be expressed, doesn't it Twilight Sparkle? Come with me, and let me walk you through your final six days in this world.

Twilight sat upright in bed with a puzzled expression trying to comprehend what she had just heard. “That dream felt so real..” she panted, still slightly scared by what she had just witnessed in her dreams.
Welcome to the end, Twilight.
“What are you doing inside my head? Um... Who are you?” stuttered Twilight, confused by the distance her voice had to her. “Hello? What's going on!”
“I'm not inside your head, Twilight.” Came an echoing voice.
Jumping off her bed, she thudded onto the soft floor scanning the room furiously for her observer. “Show yourself “ - Twilight lit her horn - “or you'll regret it!” shouted Twilight, trying to hide any hint of alarm which was present in her voice.
Slowly from the corner of the room, a distorted figure began to materialize. “As you wish, “ - The figure began to take the shape of a pony - “but this isn't a social visit.”
Twilight couldn't help but stare at the appearing figure, transfixed by absolute horror. It had a coat of the colour black, and the form of a stallion, but only those features were present. The figure had no eyes, nor a mane or tail. It was a mass of atoms, in a absolute static position.
If you fear me, I can continue to talk through you.
“I don't fear you, “ snarled Twilight, “I just don't understand what you are, I have never read a single book which describe anything like you.”
“I am you, Twilight Sparkle, ” - The mass replied, shifting towards Twilight - “I am your emotions; love, hate and fear. I am your memories; friends, parents and education. I am all that is holding your spirit to this world.” It began to walk towards the door which connected Twilight's bedroom to the corridor, “Come, Twilight.. Your presence in this world is limited now and we don't have time to stand idle”, echoed the mass, before phasing through the matter of the door.
Twilight began to take small steps towards the door, still terrified of what exactly she was following; at least she thought she was. She didn't actually feel terrified, although all the things she had just experienced were telling her to be.
As Twilight got to the door, she jumped back as it slowly creaked open stepped outside, she saw that the disfigured stallion like mass was standing still, seemingly looking right at her. “Where are you taking me? “ asked Twilight, “If I'm dead, why do I need to go anywhere, what is there left for me to experience?”
The mass turned to face Twilight, “Not everyone gets this treatment, you are one of a select few, and should feel proud of that. It is a time for you to say goodbye to your loved ones.” it spoke, before continuing to walk, “You might not experience everything you expect, some truth may be reveled that you didn't want, and for this exact reason, I will give you a choice before we continue. You can continue, and your spirit will be bound to the world for seven more days, including this one, or leave. What is your choice?”
Twilight turned around and looked back to her bed, observing the clone of herself, a now paling lavender unicorn, “I want to continue. I don't know if there will be an afterlife or not, so I want to be able to say farewell to my friends. “, she spoke, wavering slightly near the end as the reality of what she was going to do hit her. "I have to leave them forever, don't I?" Twilight lay down on the floor and hugged her tail, "Can't there be another way/"
“There cannot be another way, you will go to rest after your time is over. We shall continue, but you should know your friends won't hear you, or see you. Your form is one of mental image, an imaginary figure. You have become nothing but energy. Be quite now anyway, as the show is about to start. If you still have doubts about being bonded here for the next few days, then return to your body now. Otherwise, let us step through this door.” Said the mass, while opening a door to an apparent abyss.
“I have no doubts.” said Twilight, before standing back up and stepping through the black mist and into the abyss.
