Life on two sides

After thoroughly convincing Twilight that I do know her, and that she is from a TV show, I went to sleep.

I awoke again to the same bed, I got up, only to feel that my leg had almost fully healed.
I then looked outside, it was early in the morning, so I decided to be quiet and take a look around.
After walking around a bit, I found that there was a kitchen, and two guest rooms.
I finished looking around, and went to the kitchen to get some breakfast.
As I did this, I heard the sound of hoofsteps coming down stairs, and I knew who was making that sound.

Twilight walked into the kitchen, and when she noticed me, she was quite surprised.
"What are you doing up so early?"

"Well I haven't eaten since yesterday, so I had to get up to get some food."

"Oh, ok, well there are some apples in the cupboard over there, feel free to have some."

"Thanks."

"No problem, everypony's gotta eat, and I have plenty of food."

I grabbed an apple and continued
"Hey, do you have any idea why I'm here?"
"No, you just came out of nowhere."

"How come you had a baseball bat?"

"Because I thought you were an intruder."

"good point."

After a bit of chat, Twilight finally said
"You know, I never asked for your name."

"My name is johnathen, but everyon... uh, I mean everypony calls me john."

"Interesting name."

"thanks, I like it."

"Me too."

"but some people think it's boring."

"really? seems pretty nice to me."

I took another bite of the apple
"This apple is really good, where do you get them from?"

"They come directly from sweet apple acres"

After eating a bit more, I ask the best question I can think of.
"Hey Twilight, got any interesting books?"

"Well what do you like?"

"Just interesting books."

"Well there are plenty of interesting books in the library, it's just around that corner."

"I guess I'll be reading then"

"OK, bye"

After she said that, I went to the library and began to browse
