Rainbow Dash
Rainbow Dash was doing a dare contest with Spitfire, the leader of the Wonderbolts. All of the dares Spitfire gave Rainbow were fairly harmless, but they were nothing compared to what the last dare was. It was, in her words, “I dare you, Rainbow Dash, to fly through those clouds, do a Sonic Rainboom, and fly back down to the ground.” So, Rainbow Dash obeyed Spitfire’s orders with a “Yes, ma’am.”
She took off and headed for various clouds, and went through them with a “puff” sound. But when she reached the last cloud, she discovered that it was gray with thunder coming out of it. She realized that it was a thundercloud. But that did not stop Rainbow from completing the dare and obeying Spitfire. After all, she was doing this as a tryout for becoming a Wonderbolt.
So she went in the storm cloud, even though she was frightened by its eeriness. While she was inside the cloud, she heard a really loud rumbling sound from all around the cloud’s walls. It was thunder. Rainbow was so scared that she slowed down and flew through the cloud very casually.
But no sooner had she reached the end of the cloud then a great, big shock of electricity struck Rainbow in the chest! She screamed, and lost her balance. She then came plummeting down to the ground at crazy fast speed. Spitfire heard the scream, and so did all of Rainbow’s PFFs (Pony Friends Forever).
They came rushing to the tryout area and saw Rainbow falling, leaving a trail of smoke behind her. At first they were not sure what was falling. They originally thought it was either a comet, an airplane, or a missile. But then they heard Rainbow’s screaming and figured out that it was Rainbow Dash! Rarity and Fluttershy looked for a trampoline, and spotted one a couple kilometers from the tryout area. They both grabbed it and carried it to where they thought Rainbow Dash was going to land. And luckily, Rainbow landed on the trampoline and bounced safely to the ground. Twilight, being the inspector of the Mane 6, saw a singe on Rainbow’s chest, almost close to her heart. Then, she put her hoof on the burn to see how bad it was. Much to her surprise, it was very hot. She then concluded that it was a lightning bolt. She then phoned a paramedic, and it came to Rainbow Dash’s rescue. But Rainbow didn’t even know that the paramedic was coming, because she was unconscious.
The paramedic’s many procedures in attempting to revive Rainbow, including CPR and mouth-to-mouth resuscitation. But unfortunately, none of those attempts worked. And about fifteen minutes later, Rainbow Dash died.
The date of her death was July 13, 2000, and her age was 16 years old. Her body was buried at the start of the obstacle course at Wonderbolts Academy, the place where the tryouts took place.
Rarity
Rarity was watching a performance of her favorite ballet, “The Rite of Spring” by Igor Stravinsky. The performance was held during the Grand Galloping Galla in Canterlot as part of the Hearth’s Warming Eve party.
She was wearing a very elegant costume that she designed herself just for the occasion. It had pink sequins on the bodice, violet feathers on the bottom of the gown, and violet elbow-length gloves made out of satin.
She was enjoying the performance up until the finale of the “The Rite of Spring” when, at about 11:45 at night, a unicorn assassin by the name of James Hix Hoof snuck into Rarity’s balcony, pulled out a derringer pistol, and aimed it right at Rarity! And just before the finale started, Hoof pulled the trigger and shot Rarity!
Before the assassin could do anything else, he got caught by Rarity’s guards. They were the Diamond Dogs. They attacked Hoof from the left and from the right, but Hoof was tougher than the Dogs. He beat them up, and then jumped off the balcony and shouted out, “Il gioco è fatto!” (The language was in Italian, and the English translation was “The deed is done”.) He then escaped out the concert hall using the emergency doors.
The audience was in a sheer panic because the pony who got shot happened to be the Guest of Honor. And the assassin just killed her!
One of the Diamond Dogs phoned an emergency doctor. He urged the doctor to come immediately because there has been an unexpected assassination, and one of the audience members got shot.
And after the call was made, the doctor rushed over to the concert hall and looked for the shot pony. Once he finally found Rarity, he immediately examined her body. He looked for any given evidence of how Rarity got killed. He then found a bullet wound at the back of Rarity’s neck. He then grabbed a special pair of tweezers to pull the bullet out. Fortunately, it worked! The bullet was out, but Rarity was still out cold. So the doctor asked the Diamond Dogs to help carry Rarity to the ambulance that was parked outside the concert hall. They obliged.
Once Rarity was put in the ambulance, it then immediately rushed over to the nearest hospital. Along the way, the paramedics hooked Rarity up to a heart meter which measured her heartbeat so they can determine whether she is still alive or not. The good news was that Rarity’s heart was still beating; the bad news was that her heartbeat was slower than usual. And that made the doctors and paramedics on board the ambulance really worried.
“Hang in there, Miss. We’ll save you,” told the doctor from the driver’s seat. But unfortunately, it was too late. During the middle of the ride, Rarity breathed her last breath and died.
The date of her death was December 25, 1991, and her age was 21 years old. Her body was buried at the entrance of the concert hall, the place where the assassination took place.
Twilight Sparkle
One fairly cold, January night in Ponyville, Twilight and Sunset Shimmer were having their own Girls’ Night Out. They were visiting Sugar Cube Corner for some cookies and hot chocolate, trying on some outfits from Carousel Boutique, and playing with and petting some of Fluttershy’s animals. All of this was to teach Sunset all about friendship.
But it didn’t last long. Just when the two ponies were about to start their last activity on their Girls’ Night Out, Twilight bumped into a hooded pony standing in the middle of the street.
“Oops! I’m sorry. Are you okay?” asked Twilight, embarrassed.
The pony didn’t answer.
“Are you okay?” Twilight asked again, louder this time.
The pony still didn’t answer. This made Twilight and Sunset very anxious.
Just then, the hooded pony took her hood off, and revealed who it really was. It was none other than the Great and Powerful Trixie! She came back for more revenge on Twilight Sparkle for being much more powerful than her.
“Well, well, well, Twilight Sparkle. We meet yet again,” Trixie uttered from underneath her grey cloak. She was wearing the Alicorn Amulet again, but with additional magic added to it.
“Well, well, well, Trixie. We meet yet again,” Twilight uttered back. “What dirty tricks are up your sleeve this time?”
“Oh, I am so glad you asked,” Trixie replied. “Ever since you showed off your oh-so-special magic in the last duel, I have been trying to figure out how you did those spells. I searched and searched and researched, but I couldn’t find anything. But then I figured out that all the problems you have been facing were easy.”
Twilight was confused.
“What are you talking about?” she asked. “Almost none of my experiences right here in Ponyville have been easy.”
“Well, how have you been able to solve them so easily?” Trixie asked Twilight, in disbelief.
“Through friendship,” answered Sunset Shimmer, assertively.
“Oh, really?” Trixie asked with a villainous smirk.
“Yes, really,” answered Twilight.
Just then, a brand-new plan popped into Trixie’s unicorn brain.
“Well, if it was so easy for you to single-handedly vanquish the Ursa Minor a couple years ago,” she said. “How easy would it be if I were to summon the Ursa Major?”
“WHAT?!” shouted Twilight and Sunset.
“That’s right,” Trixie replied. “Like I said, all the problems you faced were easy. But how easy would it be if you were faced with a problem like that?!”
At that moment, the Ursa Major stormed into Ponyville. It caused such an uproar that all of Ponyville screamed and trembled with fear! It even scared Sunset Shimmer! In fact, it scared her so much that she screamed and ran away from the giant monster, leaving Twilight all alone!
Trixie walked up to Twilight.
“Well? How about it, hmmm?” asked Trixie. “Is there anything you can do that the Great and Powerful Trixie can’t?”
However, Twilight could not answer Trixie’s question. She was too frightened at the sight of the Ursa Major that she was completely speechless!
“Come on, Twilight!” called Sunset from a safe distance. “You can do it! I believe in you!”
“Sunset’s right,” Twilight thought to herself. “I can do this.”
Twilight summoned her strength, and started doing various spells to the Ursa. But unfortunately, they didn’t work. Every single spell that Twilight did only made the Ursa stronger and stronger.
And it also made the Ursa fight back! The Ursa swiped its paws from the left to the right, and from the right to the left. Its paws even hit Twilight at various moments!
This made Twilight very frightened. More frightened that usual, in fact.
“But, how?” Twilight thought to herself again. “No monster in Equestria could get stronger through magic. Unless…”
Twilight peeked from behind the Ursa and saw Trixie doing something with her magic.
“What is she doing?” she wondered.
She blasted some more of her magic at the Ursa, but then she noticed something bizarre. She noticed that all her blasts went through the Ursa and into Trixie’s horn! Trixie then absorbed Twilight’s magic, converted it into energy, and blasted the Ursa with it. And it all happened so fast that it was almost impossible to see it!
Just then, an idea popped into Twilight’s head.
“Maybe the blasts I’m firing at the Ursa are not strong enough,” she thought to herself. “Maybe I should fire much stronger blasts at it.”
So she got up, gathered up almost a quarter of her magic, and then blasted it at the Ursa. She did it three times. And when she finished, she left the Ursa in a cloud of dust.
“Did it work?” she wondered.
Unfortunately, it didn’t work. Twilight saw the Ursa get up again, but much to Twilight’s surprise, she saw that the Ursa was much bigger than before! Twilight was scared to death!
The Ursa walked closer and closer towards Twilight, and Twilight backed away from it until she was cornered in a wall of stone with no escape!
Trixie came out from behind the Ursa and let out an evil laugh. She was laughing because she saw that the deed was, so far, almost done.
“Trixie is the highest level unicorn in all of Equestria! And there is no one else here who can help you at all! And in a few minutes, the deed will be done, you will be gone, and Trixie Lulamoon––that’s me––shall be the ruler of Ponyville FOR ALL ETERNITY!!!” She then let out the biggest evil laugh that she ever did! In fact, it was so scary that lightning and thunder blasted out of the sky!
Twilight, already weakened by the battle between her and the Ursa, got back up again.
“Trixie,” Twilight said to her. “The deed is not done. Not yet.”
“What are you talking about?” Trixie asked Twilight, confused. “You’re so weak that you can hardly let out anymore magic.”
“That’s what you think, but I have more magic left. It is the Magic of Friendship. And it resides in the heart of us all!”
At that moment, she used a spell that gathered up the Elements of Harmony. She then put the Elements in the appropriate position, activated their power, and blasted it at the Ursa. And it created such an explosion that the whole town of Ponyville was destroyed! And the Ursa was defeated, as well.
Sunset Shimmer was amazed at how spectacular the battle was. She came out of hiding to see what became of the Ursa Major. She saw that it has been vanquished, and was lying on the ground, unconscious.
“Wow! Great job, Twilight! You sould be very proud of you!”
She then looked for Twilight. For the first couple of minutes, she couldn’t find her. But then she found her lying on the ground near the stone wall she was cornered in. She ran up to her and continued to say how amazing she was.
“That was really spectacular Twilight! I am very proud of you!”
But Twilight didn’t say anything. She was just lying on the floor, unconscious.
Sunset tried waking her up.
“Twilight? Twilight?” she called. “Twilight, are you okay? Twilight, get up. Come on, Twilight! Get up! Please!!”
Sunset then put her hoof on Twilight’s wrist. There was no pulse. She then put her ear to Twilight’s heart. There was no heartbeat. Twilight Sparkle was dead.
Sunset then broke down and had a crying fit, all because she lost her best friend. Twilight was the only one that understood her the most, and the only one to look for in order to fully understand friendship.
Sunset then called the rest of the Mane 6 and took them to the battlefield, which was where Twilight got killed. All of the ponies were grief-stricken at the sight of their deceasded friend, especially Fluttershy. They all started crying. And they cried for about five minutes. After they stopped crying, the Mane Six (minus one) and Sunset Shimmer started to bury Twilight’s body. After her body was buried, the main ponies and Sunset Shimmer started praying around Twilight’s grave. They also said some nice things about her. After all this was done, Sunset and the Mane Six (minus one) went back home.
The date of her death was January 19, 2002, and her age was 18 years old. Her body was buried in front of the Ponyville fountain, which was in the center of Ponyville’s Town Square, the place where the battle between Twilight and the Ursa Major took place.
Pinkie Pie
Pinkie Pie’s birthday party was coming up! Even though she was usually the party planner, she was not the one who planned the party. Her other friends planned it. But what happened on one of her previous birthday parties, in which her friends would not tell Pinkie what they have been up to, and Pinkie thought that her friends did not like her anymore, that was nothing compared to this party. Her friends actually told her about her party.
They told her that the all the treats are only sugary sweets [among the treats were candy, cupcakes, and ice cream], there will be lots of party games, especially Pin the Tail on the Pony, and it’s going to be held at Sugar Cube Corner. Pinkie was really looking forward to it. In fact she was so excited, she got the hiccups!
Two days later, all of Ponyville was there, especially all of her PFFs (Pony Friends Forever). Even Sunset Shimmer was there! She did all sorts of things. She participated in all the party games, she got tons of presents (even the ones that she always wanted), and she was even chosen as the first one to wack the piñata.
But the part of the party that Pinkie had the most fun in was eating her sweets. However, unbeknownst to Pinkie, she had no idea that the cupcakes were infected with a poison very well known in Ponyville. Its name was arsenic. And it wasn’t until Pinkie felt the poison take effect until after the party, when her friends and guests walked home.
Her first sign was a terrible belly ache. At first she thought it was all because of too much sweets. But a little while later, she was throwing up in the bathroom. And it didn’t take long until she was calling her friends over to help her figure out what’s wrong with her.
Each pony had different duties. Twilight was inspecting the sweets, Applejack helped carry Pinkie to bed or to the bathroom (in case she feels like she needs to throw up again), Rarity was bringing medicine over to Pinkie, Fluttershy was in charge of bringing Pinkie’s stuffed animals over to her bed and singing various lullabies to her whenever she needs to go to sleep, and Rainbow Dash read her “Daring Do” books to Pinkie. Unfortunately, Sunset Shimmer couldn’t come because she thought she didn’t have what it took to help take care of Pinkie. And that made Pinkie really sad.
About 24 hours later, after almost a whole day of being infected with what Twilight finally determined to be arsenic poisoning, Pinkie Pie died.
The date of her death was May 24, 1998, and her age was 15 years old. Her body was buried near the entrace of Sugar Cube Corner, the place where her party was held and where she felt very sick.
