By no means is this the finished product and this is merely there at it's current state to give you an idea of what is to come. Prolougue - The Life He Never Knew [Unedited] It's a peaceful day in the world of Equestria, everypony is working hard at their jobs, conversing with each other as the sun warms the land. One pony in particular, an earth stallion named Auric Soundsword, enters his house, trotting to his room upstairs after closing the door behind him, falling down on his bed with his deep blue eyes closed as he says to himself as his bright blue mane and tail, being are slightly messy, lie on the bed, somehow keeping it's form as he says in a depressed vocal tone, his voice not being too deep, but obviously male "Why must things be so monotonous..." the light blue furred stallion lets out a deep sigh as two royal guards ring his doorbell, waiting for him to open the door. This makes him sigh again as he exits his room and goes downstairs to see who's there. He opens the door to see the two guards standing there prompting the guards to ask "Sir, are you the stallion known as Auric Soundsword?" He simply nods his head yes and asks back curiously "Why? Is there something wrong?" They reply "No, we need you to come with us to Canterlot, Celestia has asked that you come see her." Auric blinks wondering why in Equestria he would want a pony such as him, to meet somepony as great as her. In slight shock he speaks in a more formal vocal tone saying "Alright. I will come." "Then follow us, Celestia awaits your presence" he does so and within an hour or two they reach Canterlot and go to Celestia's castle where the guards lead him to the throne room where Celestia and Luna sit there, observing him. Celestia and Luna looked each other, and said, "Sir, you must be Auric, correct?" They waited for that stallion to speak. They knew Princess Premoria and suspected something inside Auric, since he rarely acts like other regular ponies. Looking at the stallion, they watched him curiously. He simply gives a bit of an innocent look simply nodding his head, not saying a word as he looks directly at the two. Celestia and Luna sighed, "Are you feeling something different from this world? We might know this answer, Auric. My sister and I will try to help you to have this special order." She whispered sightly. The blue stallion gives them a confused look "I... honestly don't know but things have been a bit... monotonous lately..." he says in a slightly depressed tone. "What exactly do you mean by 'special order'...?" he asks innocently, but curiously. Celestia and Luna gulped and prepared to let the secret out, "We know of another world known as Castitas and we want you to talk to their ruler. She is known as Princess Permoria. We want you to deliver this message and you might have an answer from her. Tell her that we sent you." they magically levitate a scroll over to him. Auric blinks, very vaguely remembering this tale he heard when he was only a foal. He then says meekly, lowering his voice slightly because of a stress induced headache in a slightly, but notacable, depressed vocal tone as he takes the scroll hesitantly "But... why me...? I'm just an average stallion... there's really nothing special about me... and this place...?" Luna said, "I have been watching you since you were foal. There's something rare inside of you." She replied boldly. The stallion thinks for a moment, trying to remember what kind of place Castias was "That's... uh... I didn't know... and... well... what is this 'Castitas' place? I swear I've heard of it before... but... I don't remember much at all..." Celestia, who is looking at Luna, nodded towards to Luna. Luna answered, "That's why we are sending you there. You are one stallion who knows this tale." He blinks, wincing back slightly asking in a confused "A tale...? I'm sorry but I really don't follow... could you please explain it to me? I... I think I remember but my memory... isn't the best." Luna said, "When you heard this tale from your parents, you were having some magic inside of you. From hearing this strange tale." "I... don't seem to remember... but... I feel something inside me... I think... it feels... like it's trying to tell me something... in a way... but it's very feint... I can barely feel it..." he says, trying to remember what his parents told him. Celestia said, "That's one we speak of." He says nervously, in awe "W-Wow... I guess... I guess you're right... but this place...? Castitas is it? Is it a country or something...? Like I said prior... I really don't remember much... not enough to say anything to be honest... Could you explain it to me...?" Celestia and Luna smiled, Celestia spoke in her usual formal and regal vocal tone "That is for you to find out. Go" "But... how will I get there? I don't know where it is..." he asks looking at the ground with a small frown. Celestia and Luna motioned Auric to follow them. "This." The Princess of Sun replied. "Portal will take you." The stallion follows them to where the portal is, seeing a heavily guarded portal, seeming to be quite important. Upon seeing this his eyes glow slightly as he says "I... I... This... is... I think I remember... but... I still don't know much..." his heart is beating faster as this 'feeling' is stronger "That feeling... inside me... it's... stronger... I can feel it more prominently now..." Celestia and Luna said, "Magic is stronger when you are near them. Please go. Discover your life." He simply nods, slowly trotting through the portal to discover his true destiny. A short walk later a white light envelops him, blinding him for a brief moment as his journey to the fabled land of Castitas, the home world to a legendary race known as cuddle ponies, has only just begun.
