It was a nice day. Rainbow Dash and Fluttershy were 'hanging out' at Fluttershy's cottage, and by hanging out, I mean that they were having a tea party which Rainbow Dash was rapidly getting bored with. The rest of her friends were coming, of course, so she hoped that it would get less boring... Eventually. 'Maybe Twilight will have another future obsession.' She thought, 'Nah, thats boring... Maybe the Bugbear will come back! Now that was 20% cooler than any other day!' She was thinking of the possibilities, and ignoring Fluttershy whilst she was at it.
Fluttershy was talking loudly, though, and didn't seem to care that Rainbow Dash was ignoring her, which is, as you can probably guess, unlike Fluttershy. "HERE'S PINKIE!" Pinkie shouted, trying to scare Rainbow Dash… But when she looked at Fluttershy and saw that even she wasn’t scared, than she shouted “GIRLS! FLUTTERSHY HAS BEEN REPLACED WITH A CHANGELING!” since she had a twitchy tail, an itchy back, and twitching eyes, which means someone is her vicinity is a changeling. That, and Fluttershy wasn’t scared! Twilight rushed in, as well as Applejack and Rarity. “Get that varmint!” Applejack shouted.
“Ugh, I hate changelings!” Rarity said, showing her disgust on her face.
“Give up!” Twilight exclaimed, having no time to capture the changeling as it barrels towards the entrance, and just barely makes it out, as Applejack nearly bucked the changeling in the head, but ended up bucking Rarity, and knocking her out. Rainbow Dash, having just noticed, flew out quickly and tried to catch up. She managed to clip the changelings wings, snapping the tips of them off. The changeling, letting out a soft moan, kept going at the same speed. Twilight was preparing to shot a bolt of magic at it, but the changeling turned slightly, so Twilight had to alter her aim. She shot, but it hit Applejack. It sent Applejack flying back into a tree, which knocked her out.
During all of this, nopony said anything, since they were to focused on catching the changeling... Until Pinkie came in. "SUPER DOOPER PARTY CANNON SURPRISE!" she said, aiming her party cannon, which had an actual cannon ball in it. She fired, but the changeling dodged it, so it was going for Twilight. She put up a shield, but the cannon ball (made of Thaumium, a very strong and anti-magic metal element) destroyed it. The ball slowed down, so it didn't kill or fatally injure Twilight, it just knocked her out. Pinkie and Rainbow were the only ones left, so Rainbow picked up Pinkie and threw her at the changeling, yet for the first time (not counting the little clips of the changelings wings which wouldn't allow her to fly properly) it actually hit it!
It's tooth flew out, as well as some blood from its mouth, and some cracks in the chitin, as well. This slowed her down slightly, but that didn't matter. Rainbow could already go faster than her, but Pinkie had been knocked out. This… Was not a good thing, since Pinkie was pretty much the only thing which could have surprised the changeling. The changeling was now going into the Everfree, but Rainbow Dash didn’t care. She would get the changeling and find Fluttershy… At all costs, even if it meant killing for the first time. The changeling was running as quick as it could, but Rainbow Dash managed to rip off one of it’s wings. It let out a shout of pain, and then teleported away. “Oh buck! It got away!” She shouted, “I know! I’ll fly up to the clouds and see where it is!” She quickly flew up and looked around. She saw the changeling, limping towards a shack. She stealthily followed it, making sure she made no noise… Well, you know, until the cliche branch appeared and she stepped on it.
“What?!” The changeling said, looking around, “Must be an animal from the forest. I know I lost those annoying six.” She looked around for a bit more, and when she saw nothing, she kept on going to the shack.
Once it had entered the shack, Rainbow Dash looked around to see if there were anymore changelings or something like that, maybe some monsters. When she saw there was nothing, she trotted to the shack, and put her ear to door. She heard a voice… It was “Fluttershy!” She whispered. She tried to listen in and heard what was going on,
“You know, after I get all the info out of you, I will kill you… It’s just that if you give me it without struggle, it will be quick and painless, instead of long and painful. Plus, if you don’t give me it, I can enjoy playing doctor on you.”
“I will never betray my friends!” She exclaimed, “I will never, ever give you information!” And at that point, Rainbow knew she had to go inside the shack. She burst in, but she saw two Fluttershy’s in the corners next to her, and a table full of doctors tools at the back of the shack. She quickly flew over and grabbed a knife, to cut the real Fluttershy’s ropes… But they both had ropes around them as well! They both exclaimed “It’s her!” at the same time, so now it was even more confusing! Rainbow Dash then asked them a question,
“When we were at flight camp, who did I protect you most against!?!?” She shouted.
“Score, Dumb-Bell, and Hoop!” The one to her left said, but the one to her right said:
“I don’t remember…” So Rainbow Dash threw a knife at her head… And didn’t miss, revealing that it was the real Fluttershy, so she quickly grabbed another and threw it at the changeling… And then realised what she had done. She had murdered Fluttershy. She broke down crying, when her friends suddenly burst in. They saw what had happened, and broke down as well… They had lost to the bad guy for the first time ever... And that bad guy killed Fluttershy...
“It was-s-s an accident…” Rainbow whispered to herself, “I didn’t m-mean to kill you…” She said, seeing the brains and the blood all over the wall... Green and red blood, together...
