Arachno Ghoul

The party was beginning to die down, and everypony along with Max, and Albert were

getting tired. Albert was sitting at a booth near the back of sugarcube corner when the crusaders approached, Albert had not noticed until Sweetie belle tapped his shoulder.

“Yes?” He asked turning to them.

“What are you?” Sweetie belle asked.

“I'm a half human.” Albert responded.

“Whats a hoo-man?” Apple bloom asked. “And how are you only half of one?”

“Well a human is a type of hairless primate, and i'm half human because… I can't tell you

that.” He said looking away as Max glared in his direction.

“Okay… Can you do anything cool?” Scootaloo asked.

“Up… but I'll need Rainbow Dash's help.” Albert said looking towards rainbow. “Hey

dash can you help me with something?” He called over to her.

“Uh… Sure? what is it?” Rainbow replied.

“The crusaders wanted me to show them something cool, so I was going to show them

my healing capabilities.” He said with a sheepish grin as Max glared at him. “Now girls this will be a little drastic, Dash I want you to break my nose again.” Albert said with a grin.

Rainbow shruged before bucking him in the face. There was another loud snapping

noise as blood gushed from Alberts nose.

“OWWWW!!! I FORGOT HOW PAINFUL THAT IS!!!” Albert shouted as he held a tissue

up to his nose. “Ok… this is going to hurt.” He said before snapping his nose back into place. “There we go, was that cool enough for you.” Albert said smiling at the crusaders.

“That was really cool!” Applebloom shouted.

“That... was… *gag* Grose…” Sweetie belle said, covering her mouth with a hoof.

“That… was… AMAZING!!” Scootaloo shouted. “How did you do that?”

“I would like to know as well?” Princess celestia said from behind Albert.

“Oh… um.” Albert said forgetting that the princesses were still there. “I'll send you a letter

about it later.” He said chuckling nervously.

“Excuse me Princesses, I need to have a chat with my fellow ‘Human’…” Max said

before grabbing Albert by his ear and dragging him into a private area where no one would hear them, not even Pinkie. “Are you TRYING to get yourself caught?” He then demanded of the half ghoul.

“Sorry! I forgot that the princesses were still here, besides I just wanted to make friends

with the crusaders.” Albert said. “I didn't think it would be that bad.”

“Well, the crusaders may be able to become great allies but they suck at keeping

secrets… Just be careful and don't let anyone get too interested in you… I don't want to have to pull you out of a lab.” Max sighed.

“You got it… Phantom knight.” Albert said smirking.

“And please only address me by the form im in… I already have half of equestria after

my arse, I don't need my secret identity accidentally revealed…” Max said.

“Ok, by the way why aren't you confused that I know your secret?” Albert said with an

eyebrow raised.

“Because you remind me of deadpool…” Max said shuddering.

“Yeah… that's what Crux said, but I knew your because… you smell like the phantom

not because i'm a deadpool alternate.” Albert said shrugging

“...And you called me by my human name when we first met…” Max added, “And don't

get me started on the other incidents since coming to ponyville…”

“Well… that was mainly a hunch, until I met you in person that is.” Albert said chuckling.

“But I wasn't completely sure until right now.”

“Whatever, spider ghoul.” Max said, rolling his eyes.

“Yeah… Now that I think about it I'll need a code name if i get into the Power Ponies…

Maybe… The Blue Arachnid?” Albert said thinking out loud.

“No... that is way too tacky. You need something like ‘the one eyed owl’ but short and

spider themed.” Max deadpanned.

“...Ok… How about… blue eyed spider?” Albert said.

“...Your not very good at code names are you kid?” Max said.

“First: i'm not a kid, i'm 18, second no, no i'm not.” Albert said sighing.

“Well, I can give you two suggestions. But I think that one of them may work, depending

on what you decide your full disguised to look like.” Max said.

“Well… I’m not sure, we could go to the forest to see?” Albert suggested.

“I meant the rest of your costume besides your mask. Not your kagune.” Max said before

checking to make sure no one had decided to eavesdrop on them.

“Well… I think my costume was combined into my kagune because I was wearing

these.” He said pointing to his cloths. “Underneath it, but it was more or less a blue version of deadpool`s.” Albert said shrugging.

“Heh, Ponypool is going to lose it when he sees you then.” Max said before leading Alex to the forest.

“Seriously!! there's a deadpool here?” Albert said laughing.

“Yup! he even tried to troll Celestia once. where do you think the Cmc got the picture of her eating cake!” Max said laughing.

“Hahaha… seriously!! Oh my god! I have got to meet this guy and shake his hand/hoof depending on if he's anthro or not.” Albert said gasping for breath.

“Don't try to comprehend this but he’s both…” Max said. “We need to get the two of you and pinkie together so we can have a repeat of the smartypants incident!” He then added falling over in laughter.

“Well, first YES!!! second if he's both does that mean he can shapeshift between forms or?” Albert said as they entered the forest.

“He doesn't shapeshift, and no I won't go into detail on how that's possible. Let's get back to the topic at hand though…” Max said as they reached a clearing near the everfree.

“Wait… holy shit is he a centare!?, also right here goes.” Albert said as he closed his eyes straining to summon his kagune. When the kagune sprouted millions of smaller tentacles sprouted and began wrapping around him. The tentacles formed a blue, and black version of deadpool's outfit with the exception of the mask being the one Pinkie made him.

“Huh, the tentacles make you look like doctor octopus…” Max said as he examined Albert.

“Thanks, so… maybe something to do with doc ock in the name then?” Albert asked.

“Hmm…” Max tapped his chin in thought before he had an idea. “How about Arachnull, sapphire spider, or… maybe even Tarantulas?” Max said shrugging. he wasn't very good when it came to bug names.

“Hmm… I like Sapphire spider.” Albert said nodding. “Thanks for helping.”

“Your welcome, Sapphire spider.” Max said grinning. “I thought that you looked like a blue version of the crimson spider and sapphire is blue, and tough as your kagune, so I thought it would fit. just don't reveal your identity to anyone, not even the power ponies.” he said, giving Albert a knowing look.

“Ok, I was going to tell Pinkie and Dash but that would probably put them in danger so… nope.” Albert said as his kagune began to disintegrate. “Um dude… is it supposed to be this painful?” He asked Max as his Kagune`s points dug back into his spine.

“Your a halfbreed, things aren't going to go as smoothly as a pureblood like me. but you'll get used to it… I think…” Max said before they left to return to the party. “And you catch on quickly as to why you shouldn't tell people your secret identity, unless they can handle themselves… if you know what I mean.”

“Yup, i'm sure dash could and so could Pinkie but I don't think they would be able to keep a secret like this even with a Pinkie promise.” Albert said as they reentered ponyville.

“Exactly why they would be in danger, and i'm referring to more than a villain or two. There are hunters out there.” Max said before vanishing.

“Ok thanks Max see ya latter.” Albert said as he reentered sugarcube corner. When he entered the shop the only pony left was Pinkie who was picking up all the food and plates.

“Hey Pinkie? What happened to everypony?” Albert asked as she looked towards him.

“Oh, they had to go…something about the opening ceremony for the new power ponies center in ponyville.” Pinkie said putting a hand to her chin in contemplation.

“Why didn't you go?” Albert asked her as he took some plates.

“I had to clean up here first silly!” Pinkie said before turning to albert. “Why don't you go ahead? I’ll catch up.”

“i'd rather stay and help, I'm not very good with large groups.” Alberts said smiling. “Besides I like helping my friends no matter what I'm helping with.”

Pinkie rolled her eyes before pushing Albert out the door. “Just get going I’m almost finished anyway! and you were looking for a new job right?” She said giving him a wink.

Albert's face flushed and all he could do was nod his head. “OK thanks.” He said running into an alleyway and summoning his kagune and costume before putting on his mask. Albert ran along rooftops until he found the new building. “OK how should I introduced myself?” He thought out loud.

“Party crasher style? and don't forget to introduce yourself!” A pony wearing a fez with a hourglass cutie mark suggested from next to him.

“Sup doc…” Albert said turning to him. “Why should I party crash?”

“Spoilers!~” The doctor said before his horn lit up and he teleported away.

“... Since when is the doctor a unicorn?” Albert said jumping off of the roof top.

~Power ponies Ponyville HQ~

“Welcome all to the grand opening of the Power ponies Ponyville division HQ!” A bipedal unicorn in a purple costume said into a microphone from the front of the building.

There were loud cheers as the pony gave the opening speech before a pegasus in a white suit walked over with a pair of golden scissors to cut the ribbon. as the ribbon was cut there was an announcement made about how they would be having tryouts when Albert crashed into the ground nearby, faceplanting into the stairs.

“Mind if I tryout today?” Albert said standing up. “I'm the Sapphire Spider.”

Many ponies just gaped at the strange being with eight spider like appendages coming out of his back as the two costumed mares took a fight stance.

“Um… I guess?” The Purple one said before she relaxed. “I’m Masked Matterhorn, and this is Filly Second. Filly will be the one to test you since she will be staying here to take charge of this branch.”

Filly Second then flew at ‘the Sapphire Spider’ to do a publick combat test. “We’ll start with the combat test! try not to get hit!~” She sang as she activated her powers, zipping all over the place.

As Filly Second was zipping around Sapphire kept a close eye on her movements as she approached him he quickly side stepped her making her slam into a wall. “You OK?” He asked her.

“I’m OK!” Filly Second said pulling herself out of the wall, strangely she didn't even have a scratch. “You pass the first test, now you just have to pass a written exam to finish your rookie application.”

“Your kidding right? Well I'm boned.” Sapphire Spider sighed.

“Oh you'll be fine.” Filly Second said waving him off. “It's just a personality quiz alongside some forums…”

“OK, let's get this over with.” Sapphire Spider said leaning against a wall.

“Ok! Follow me, Sapphire Spider!” Filly Second said before bouncing into the HQ and leading Sapphire Spider to a room with a desk and a couple sheets of paper on the desk.

“I take it these are the forms?” Sapphire Spider said sitting down.

“Yup, call me when you finish! I’ll be visiting with my cousin and letting her know i’m moving into town!~” Filly second said before vanishing.

“Okie dokie lokie.” Sapphire Spider said before beginning to write. “Let's see... Name? Sapphire Spider. Gender? male. Species? …How am I supposed to answer this without revealing myself?” He asked himself

“Same way I did! leave it blank!” Came a voice from behind the Sapphire Spider.

Sapphire looked behind himself to see a pony with deadpool's costume. “So… your Ponypool I take it?” Sapphire Spider asked.

“The one and only! Let me guess, someone told you about me?” Ponypool said as he went from standing on four to two in the blink of an eye before offering his hand to shake.

“Yup… but I won't say who… just in case.” Sapphire Spider said shaking his hand. “My name is Sapphire Spider.”

“Nice to meet ya! so… what elegance are you? chaotic good, lawful evil, what?” Ponypool asked as he backed over to the door.

“Chaotic good, I'm a deadpool alternative from my original world.” Sapphire said sitting down.

“Welcome then, brother! Let us have some fun next time we meet! Bie~” Ponypool said before running off in a puff of smoke.

“OK then not filling in species, answering personality questions… and that's it! I'm done!” Sapphire said taking the paper in his hand. “Now… how do I find Filly?”

“Where's Ponypool!?” Filly Second screamed from down the hall.

“You just missed him!!” Sapphire Spider said walking over to Filly Second and handing her the paper. “also I'm done.”

“Oh, thanks. Wait… You saw Ponypool? where did he go?” Filly Second said, eye visibly twitching under her mask.

Sapphire Spider just shrugged his shoulders. “Don't know he disappeared in a puff of smoke after saying hi.” He responded.

“Darn it…” Filly Second muttered before turning back to Sapphire Spider. “Ok, let's go to the meeting room and introduce you to the rest of the ponyville division.”

“Alright then. Bye the way, why were you looking for pony pool?” Sapphire spider asked.

Filly Second blushed under her mask. “N-none of your business!” She stuttered before trotting down the hall.

“Oh! I gotcha.” Sapphire Spider smiled under his mask and winking with the eye that was visible catching up with her.

“Shut up! it's not like that!” Filly Second said before entering a room with a large table and two ponies at the opposite end of it.

“Wow… and who are these two?” Sapphire Spider asked looking at the two.

“Meet the currently only other members of this branch, Maredowell and Silvermoon.” Filly second said, the Ponies at the other end of the table coming over to introduce themselves.

“Hello, I'm maredowell. Its nice to meet you…” Maredowell said raising a hand.

“And I’m Silvermoon. nice to have another guy on the team!” Silver Moon said raising a hoof.

“I’m the Sapphire Spider, it’s nice to meet you both. I look forward to working with you.” Sapphire Spider said shaking Silvermoon’s hoof, and kissing Maredowell hand by lifting his mask slightly.

“W-well aren't you the gentlestallion... “ Maredowell stuttered as Silvermoon laughed.

“I try to be as gentlemanly as possible when meeting new females, I would have been a gentlemen to Filly second and Masked matter horn but they kind of had me doing test's.” Sapphire Spider said chuckling.

Silvermoon was now rolling on the floor in laughter as Maredowell did an impression of a fish and Filly Second groaned.

“Great, another one…” Filly second said as she facehoofed.

“I take it you're referring to ponypool? Also sorry if I made you upset Maredowell.” Sapphire Spider said rubbing the back of his head.

“N-not at all!” Maredowell stuttered. “I have to go! missions and stuff!” she then said before teleporting away.

“This is going to be a LONG day…” Filly Second said as she walked off.

“Well, now that that's settled… want to go to the training room?” Silvermoon asked.

“Sure, I need to master my kagune. I should warn you it might go out of control, so… yeah lead the way.” Sapphire said.

“Ok then, and whats a Kagune?” Silvermoon said as they began to walk down another of the halls until they reached a circular blast door.

“A kagune is this thing on my back, and it's actually eight tentacles not Spider legs. There are actually lot of kagune but I'll explain that later.” Sapphire explained as they entered the room.

Silvermoon raised an eyebrow at what Sapphire Spider said but decided to see what he was talking about later. “Ok, let's start with a warm up.” He said before a bunch of mannequin-esque robots rose out of the floor and began to move around.

“OK then let's see what I can do with this thing.” Sapphire Spider said swinging a tentacle at a robot before a blue shard left the tentacle penetrating the robot's chest. “Whoa… I can shoot shards!? Cool!” Sapphire exclaimed.

“Interesting, I am going to guess you haven't used your kagune much before?” Silvermoon asked as he pulled out a scythe.

“Nope this is the first time, except for when I first got here but that was to save my butt.” Sapphire Spider said as he watched what Silvermoon was doing.

Silvermoon chuckled as he began to spin his scythe around before running into the throng of robots and mowing them down while jumping about as they tried to attack him with their fists or hooves.

“Wow nice moves.” Sapphire Spider said to Silvermoon as he shot more shards into the center chests of robots.

“Well, I’m ok… But not as good as my dad.” Silvermoon said chuckling as he finished of the remaining robots.

“Well, that`s cool what do you want to do know?” Sapphire said.

“Well, for starters, what are you?” Silvermoon asked.

“Um… I think it's better if you don't know.” Sapphire said rubbing the back of his head.

“You can tell me. I mean, my dad was a Vigilante so I doubt you would surprise me.” Silvermoon said laughing as he remembered the tales of his father’s prime.

“Well… I don't think you`d like what you'll hear.” Sapphire said

“Moon Knight was treated like a murder, But he was a great father, I won't judge you or tell anyone. especially seeing that you're not very comfortable about the subject, and it would help to have someone who could help you maneuver around such questions.” Silvermoon stated with a warm smile showing from under his hood.

“Well… I'm… Half… Ghoul.” Sapphire Spider. “But i'm not like other ghouls.”

Silvermoon stared at Sapphire spider, mouth agape. “Y-your part ghoul? Wow, that must suck… Looks like I have my work cut out for me, freind.” He said as a sad smile came to his face.

“Bra… you have no idea, but it's not all bad I'm a blue eyed ghoul.” Sapphire Spider said shaking his head. “I'm a rare breed of ghoul that can eat normal food.”

“Wow, I never knew there were multiple types. You learn something every day in this line of work it seems…” Silvermoon chuckled to himself. “So, shall we activate the Danger Room now that we are done with our warm ups?”

“Sure, and thanks for helping me.” Sapphire Spider said.

“No prob, I can tell that you're a good individual despite your species.” Silvermoon said as he bucked a big red button, causing the room to shift into something resembling the danger room from X-men as it activated. “Now… Let's get this party started!”
