I picked at my food quietly. Mom looked around. Aunt Luna was eating. "So, me and your aunt was thinking of hiring a teacher so we can find your 'special power'," said mom. I put down me fork.

"How do you know I have a power that can help the world?" I said angrily.

" All alicorns do," said Aunt Luna.

"On second thought.....I'm not hungry," I said. I got up and walked out of the room.

"Don't forget, our meeting with Twilight is tomorrow," said Mom. For a long time, I've had meetings with other alicorns. I'm surprised how much alicorns there are. All my meetings are pointless. We enter, walk about my problems, walk out, and learned nothing. I'm fourteen and no power. I'm always in my room reading or writing. If I'm not doing that, I'm in a meeting room talking to some other person.  I hate the meeting rooms. I feel like I'm being integrated, in a grey room. Also, I hate talking in front of important people. What do I say? How formal? Is my back OK? Is my makeup right? I feel like I'm on a date with the prince who takes over the all alicorns. Or with a villain who will cut my head off if did something wrong.

I walked to my room, and read.
