{Ah what a wonderful day to stay indoors and re-watch Spice and Wolf} -Hans thought to himself as he opened up his laptop. A horror that would test his very nerves expecting him.
{What the. Oh no is the power down I am down to 5% battery and its not charging despite the charger being plugged in}-Hans thought as he headed for the light switch to test his theory. Much to his horror the lightbulb lit up and he realized the horrifying truth that it was in fact his charger that was broken. It took him a few tries in other plugs to reach the conclusion but he did reach it eventually.
{Oh well I guess I need to go to the mall for a new charger. On the bright side I can get some snacks and drinks while I am there.}-Hans thought as he put on a heavy black winter coat with a lot of pockets sewed on it. It wasn't that the weather was rainy or even cold. Hans merely enjoyed having the comfort of many pockets to put stuff in and was willing to put up with a bit of heat and the occasional odd stare for that comfort.
As Hans left his home he threw out some garbage into the appropriate bins before he headed for the mall with a slight sprint. You could say a lot of things about Hans but he was doing his part to reduce gas emissions and keep nature clean. Once he reached the mall one hour later he was winded and slowly made his way to an electronic store within the mall breathing heavily.
He managed to acquire the charger quite quickly as the shop employees believed he was attempt to steal something and had immediately flocked to him and provided him with service so fast that perhaps even someone who was willing to pay triple would end up being served after Hans. Hans payed with a credit card for his purchase before he headed to a food store to get some snacks and drinks.
Much to Hans's annoyance he had to wait in a rather long and slow moving line in the foods stores. It had eaten up almost two hours of his time and he knew that he wouldn't be able to finish re-watching Spice and Wolf today but he still had hope that he might go trough season one if he just went to bed a little later.
Once his rather exhausting visit to the mall was finished Hans headed for the exit. Just as he saw the exit and was already imagining the first episode of Spice and Wolf he was pushed back by a metal object. The push was so great that he fell to the ground spilling his groceries to the ground. This was a surprise for Hans as he would never actually bump into people. He was extremely tall and while his figure wasn't particularly muscular when he wore his winter coat it was more then intimidating enough to keep people even those who were in a hurry out of his path.
"Hey you don't you know the mall is under lockdown? Now get up and lets get you to the other hostages or would you like me to end your life here and now?" Hans heard the one who had bumped into him say as he looked up to see a pistol pointed at him. Now most people would flinch at the sight be afraid or foolishly try to act as a hero Hans however wasn't most people.
"Okay please listen carefully I don't care what you want to accomplish and don't want to get involved so how about you just let me go and we pretend we never saw each other?"-Hans said as he raised his hands up and slowly stood up. He towered at least 2 heads over the person with the gun and had to look down to keep eye contact which he did. More so because he was thought it was polite then to intimidate but the armed man didn't quite see it that way.
"Step back or I will shoot you man."-The armed man said as he swung the gun at Hans.
"Okay, Okay don't swing a gun like that its dangerous. However we both know you wont intentionally shoot me. I mean even if you were to shoot me in my leg or something I will most likely die given the fact that you have locked down the mall. And if I die that means that you would be tried for murder rather then for robbery like the other people with you." Hans said confidently as the armed man's arm began to tremble.
"I-I wont be tried for anything because we will all escape." The armed man shouted back but he had uncertainty in him which Hans didn't miss.
"No I think you will most likely be caught. Just think about it there are a lot of stores in the mall all armed with silent alarms. I bet at least a few of those were already activated which means that in the next 20 minutes police is going to start coming here. When that happens you and your gang will be trapped inside and even if you manage to escape with hostages I guarantee you that the transport they provide for you will be bugged and you will end the day either in prison or dead. Still you have a choice 3 choices actually.
- You can kill me right here and if you are caught get a life sentence for your rash actions. I can see you don't really enjoy that one.
2.You can just pretend you never saw me. After that you can either leave and forget about your friends or stay and be sentenced for robbery with them.
or 3. You can come with me and hide out at my place for today. Of course this comes with its own dangers as you know nothing about me other then the fact that I am not afraid of death and am currently angry with you for wasting my time. Well time is wasting and I don't really want to be here when the police comes along since I will be held for questioning. I will slowly walk to the doors and exit if you want to come with me then just follow me if not then just do what you want I can't stop you."- Hans said as he slowly lowered his hands to his side and slowly walked passed the armed man who seemed somewhat frightened by Hans and the smile which had at some point appeared on Hans's face.
Hans wasn't always like this but ever since his entire family died in a plane accident which he couldn't attend because he had surgery and was still recovering at the time something in him snapped and he saw people as nothing more then sheep. Easily persuaded to go and do what you want either with a threat or a reward. He didn't find it amusing and knew that he might be hospitalized if someone found out so he kept to himself and found joy in anime where anything was possible. He had especially fallen in love with a show named MLP FIM as it presented a bear perfect utopia with none of the pain and troubles that plagued him.
Once Hans finally got home still in one piece he plugged the charger in and as he saw his laptops battery begin to charge he relaxed knowing that all of his hard work will be rewarded. He could have checked on the internet news feeds what had happened in the mall but that matter could no longer concern him as the armed man hadn't followed him home. Without missing a beat Hans found the folder he had all of season one of Spice and Wolf and started the first episode.
Hans eventually fell asleep around the 6th episode. Later in the night he was awoken as his hair stood on end. He opened his eyes to see a big ball of electricity in the middle of his room. He had read bout this it was a rear form of storm cloud which exploded from loud sounds.
{What the fuck is up with my luck does god hate me or something.}-Was all Hans could think before the cloud began to expand apparently when Hans was waking up he made some noise. Less then a second later everything went dark for Hans as an excruciating feeling of pain covered Hans's entire body. He attempted to scream but he could not feel his lips moving or any air escaping. In fact he could not feel anything but a sense of pain one which had become a constant neither increasing or decreasing . He couldn't hear smell, see or taste anything either.
"Leader, leader we bring gems for you. You like? You like?" Hans heard suddenly as the pain was suddenly replaced with a feeling of weight and heat not unlike the one he experienced when wearing his winter coat.
"You like?"- Hans heard once more as he opened his eyes to be met with something unexpected. Before him stood 3 mining carts full of gems and diamonds and so one and behind them stood 3 odd creatures. They were ugly critters but he knew them they were the 3 diamond dogs from his favorite show MLP FiM.
"Stay back."-Hans yelled in his still confused state as he jumped back. His body felt different and a quick look at his feet revealed to him that he wan now in a body of a dog or more likely a fox judging by the red and white coloration of his fur. Naturally this freaked him out and Hans forgot about the diamond dogs and began spinning around screaming as he tried to get a better view of his body. The freak out only escalated as his new body began to grow and the underground room around him became smaller and smaller.
"Good leader. Beautiful leader. Um soft leader?" Hans heard the three diamond dogs say one after the other before he was tackled by them.
"Get off me."-Hans growled with a feminine sounding voice. Seconds later the diamond dogs were off of him and his growth had stopped. Just as he was about to start freaking out again his stomach growled and he felt a hunger greater than any he had felt before.
"Hungry? Eat , eat."-One of the diamond dogs shouted as it took a blue sapphire and shoved it in Hans's new mouth surprisingly not breaking a tooth.
"You like?"-it asked as it pulled out its paw out of Hans's mouth as his eyes widened. This was the tastiest thing he had ever tried. It left him distinctly refreshed and left a taste of berries in his mouth.
"More I want more."-Hans shouted in a daze as he pushed past the dog in a daze and jumped on one of the gem piles. He picked up a few gems with his paw not even caring for the impossibility of the action and began chewing them.
instantly a wide variety of tastes came to his mouth everything from spiciness to sweetness to fruit to meat and every other taste in between. As he began throwing up all the gems he had swallowed so carelessly the dogs surrounded him.
"Leader, okay? Leader hurt? Leader angry?"- The three diamond dogs began to ask in high pitch voices that got to Hans's new sense of hearing.
"Quiet just leave me alone."- Hans finally shouted when he couldn't bear their painful voices any longer. He must have seemed very intimidating because the dogs all whimpered before they dug a hole each in an attempt to get away faster.
{This can't be happening. This is not happening. I just somehow survived the explosion and am now in a hospital having a hallucination from the drugs. I just need to lay down and rest for a bit that way I won't run the risk of hurting myself. Yeah just need to lay down and sleep for a bit then when I wake up I will wake up in the hospital and focus on getting better.}- Hans thought as he jumped down from the cart filled with gems he was on. Avoiding the new holes in the floor of his room. He lost his balance when landing as he wasn't yet accustomed to his new body and fell snout first into the ground his front paws not holding up the weight.
{Yes just going to rest here and when I wake up I will be in a hospital surrounded by doctors.}- Hans thought as he made his back side also fall to the ground. His new tail came beneath his head on instinct and he happily used it as a pillow. It was warm soft and fuzzy and it helped him relax and fall asleep.
