Why Is Flash Giving Me Weird Looks
Twilight sits at a lunch table with her close friends. Pinkie Pie chatters on and on and on, Rainbow Dash and Applejack toss a ball back and forth, Fluttershy just sits there quietly like usually, Twilight reads and listens at the same time, Rarity just sits there with a poker face, and Sunset is the only one who is currently eating her lunch.
"So, what's up?" Rarity asks nonchalantly.
Pinkie waves her arms wildly, gets to her feet, and points a finger up. "Ooh! Ooh! I know! The sky! The ceiling! The atmosphere! Principal Celestia or Vice Principal Luna 'cause they're both so gosh darn tall?"
Rarity rolls her eyes and sighs loudly. This Isn't the first time Pinkie has made this joke, and it probably won't be the last.
Pinkie blushes and slowly sits back down in a un-Pinkie like way. "Sorry.. I'll be quiet."
Rainbow ruffles Pinkie Pie's puffy and cotton candy like hair that's deflating a little bit. "It's absolutely okay."
"Yea. You're good." Sunset says.
Twilight closes her large book and looks up. "Well, Flash Sentry has been giving me weird looks."
Rarity delicately places a hand on top of her mouth as she tries to hold in a laugh. The rest of the group just stares at Twilight Sparkle with a variety of expression their faces.
She raises her eyebrows defensively. "What!? Did I say something wrong? Is there something on my clothes? My teeth? What is it?"
Rarity can't hold her laugh in anymore. She chuckles in a strange way. "Darling, are serious? Did I just hear what I think I heard?"
"Yup! She just said that!" Pinkie Pie smiles broadly in her usual manner.
"Sugar cube, Flash really likes you. Heck, he's liked you ever since he came to this school for the Friendship games." Applejack says.
Rainbow Dash rolls her eyes and tosses the ball from hand to hand. "No dip. We don't need Sherlock Holmes to tell us that."
Twilight's face is a light pink color. "Wow. Just wow."
Sunset Shimmer gently places a hand on one of her shoulders. "Flash asked me out a while ago. I'd be careful with him."
"Oh. Okay. Why does he like me anyways?"
Pinkie Pie leaps to her feet again. "Ooh! Ooh! Can I tell you?
"Uh. Sure. That's okay." Twilight twitches every so slightly and nervously.
"Pinkie Pie, tread forward lightly." Fluttershy says.
Pinkie smiles widely and grins. "Do you remember that pony princess Twilight Sparkle from Equestria?
Twilight nods. "How could I forget." Fluttershy fidgets nervously.
"He likes her so of course he likes you too! He also like you because you're smart and stuff." Twilight's face looks even more like an embarrassed tomato. Fluttershy closes her eyes, counts to ten, and hopes for the best.
Twilight's embarrassment suddenly turns into resentment. He hands slowly curl into fists. She tries as hard as she can to shove her anger down. "OH! So that's why he likes me so." She stands up. "Flashy Boy and I need to have a little talk."
Fluttershy purses her lips. This is one of the few times when she's seen her friend get angry. "Oh no. Oh no. Oh no. This can really only end horribly."
Rarity easily and deftly restrains her friend. "Oh come on, Twilight. There's no need to get angry."
"Oh, come on Rarity. She's fine. Anyways, it's the Flashy Boy who loves her so for such a petty and weird reason. Twilight is smart, she can deal with this properly. Right, Twilight?" Rainbow Dash says.
Rarity stares at her. "She kinda has a point."
"Yup!" Pinkie says as she leaps to her feet and jumps to and fro.
"Yea. Rarity, let go of me please." She begrudgingly lets go of Twilight.
Twilight slowly and somewhat cautiously storms off towards Flash who sits with the most popular people in CHS. Her face is full of determination.
"Hey, Twily." He says cheerfully, obliviously, and innocently.
"Don't call me that." She snaps. That's what her brother and sister and law call her, Flash shouldn't be aloud to call her that.
Sunset Shimmer carefully watches them, Rainbow and AJ are on the edges of their seats, Fluttershy is ready to call a teacher, Pinkie Pie is sure if she should cheer on Twilight's assertiveness or quickly stop the fight before it starts, and Rarity gets to her feet and follows her friend.
The majority of the school is also watching them. One crazy and weird student is even yelling: 'Fight! Fight! Fight' and recording the two of them with a phone.
Twilight takes in a sigh and counts to ten. I can't believe it. The first time a guy actually likes me and it's because of an another me from another universe, She thinks. "Flash Sentry, we need to talk."
Flash stops eating for a moment. He looks at his friends. "Now?"
"Yes. Now." She takes in another gulp of air.
Flash looks pretty nervous. He just doesn't know how to respond. He looks at his friends and shrugs, like if to say: well, okay, I guess I need to do this. "Okay."
He stands up and then the two of them leave the cafeteria.
"I wonder how that conversation is going to go." Fluttershy says. Her friends immediately agree with her.
The guy who was videotaping then stops. "Well, that was quick." He lets out a sigh.
