A Changelings Quest

Prologue

Two weeks ago a changeling knocked Starburst out of harm’s way while simultaneously putting himself in danger. Something she had never seen in another changeling before, sacrifice, and when asked how he felt having a boulder crush his hind legs he claimed he was perfectly fine, not wanting anyone to worry for his well-being.

Ten months ago during the tragic event that was the changeling’s failure of an invasion, a vast number of changelings had absorbed too much love and exploded in the sky above other changelings who hadn’t drained as much love, but still suffered.

Changelings who survived the overload of love claimed to each suffer the same symptoms.

• An intense burning feeling inside their chests.

• Inability to stand.

-Blurred vision.

-Tensed out muscles making it difficult to move their limbs.

And the most frequent among them.

-A slow agonizing death.

But Starburst had been one of the many changelings living now who hadn’t went to the battle, she was one of the changeling who had to help the afflicted to the best of their abilities. But Chainwing was at the battle, he fought and was put through immense pains ordinary changelings had died from.

The thing that is curious about Chainwing is the fact he didn’t want any help, he wanted other changelings who needed the help, be helped rather than him.  And he was perfectly fine afterword, he wasn’t treated to ensure he wouldn’t be at risk of exploding due to a love overload again.

And Chrysalis decided to do the unthinkable, she had thrown Chainwing out of their newly made hive for the possibility of this happening. But a certain changeling isn’t pleased with this decision and decided to take action and approach Queen Chrysalis on why she thought this was a good decision. Never piss off your queen, bad stuff is sure to follow if you do.
