A different hearth's warming

In the pleasant town of ponyville, any thing can happen to anypony. Some ponies learn this the hard way.

Rainbowdash bulleted through the sky, being a quick rainbow blur to anypony who was lucky enough to see her. The young mare had been quite popular lately. She had even caught the attention of the world famous wonderbolts. Especially the male second in command by the name of soarin. He seemed to be... Interested in the rainbow maned mare. The young stallion would always "accidentally bump into her" at social gatherings such as the gala. Then he'd wink at her, or say some corny pick up line like "I'm lucky I bumped into a mare as pretty as you!" Or something like that. Rainbow dash would reply by flirting back, or simply smirking. So the two had a thing going, but they weren't more than friends, kind of. Rainbow dash was too lost in thought to see the blue blur in front of her, that is till it was too late. There was a hard thud and a few"oofs!" The mare opened her magenta eyes to be face to face with none other than soarin. The wonderbolt grinned at her. " Hey dashie!" Than chuckled, "If you were that desperate to do the do, you could've just told me!" The mare blushed furiously, she realized the position the two pegasi were in. She was on top of him, their back legs tangled. She hopped up and looked down, still red-faced. "S-soarin!" "Yes dashie?" He smirked. It didn't help that she hated that pet name and he knew it."W-what are you doing in ponyville?" She asked, trying to change the subject. "Well, I had the day off, so I was practicing my tricks, but it's really windy in cloudsdale, so I came here." "O-oh that makes sense." She answered. "Actually, I have to ask you something." Soarin told the mare. "O-okay..." The Pegasus replied. The wonderbolt took a deep dramatic breath:"wanna make out?" "SOARIN!" The stallion snickered. "Okay, are you going to the hearths warming eve party?" Soarin asked. "Yeah." The stallion grinned. "Well rainbow dash, prepare for the night of your life!" "W-what?" The mare asked. Before he even answered, soarin took off into the sky. Rainbow sighed. This was gonna be an interesting night.
