...To which I got in a shooting stance.
And fired.
“AaaaHHHHHH!” I yelled to get the adrenaline going. Rapid-fire bullets were flying everywhere, but she seemed to fly faster. She kept flying around at extremely high speeds, so it was impossible for me to hit her. “Damn! Stay still!” I yelled, frustrated that the bullets were not fast enough to get her. I ran out of ammunition, but when I stopped to reload, the orange one charged at me. Being trained by the C.I.A for many years, I have developed a sense of super hearing, and peripheral vision, too. I did a front flip. She stopped suddenly and looked back at me, only to find herself quickly in a headlock. I put my arm around her neck, like a hostage, and aim my XM16E1 at the others.
“SOCOM .45!” I yell, and my assault rifle turns into my beloved pistol. “ANYONE COME AND TRY TO ATTACK, AND SHE DIES!!” I yelled at them. They all had a frightened look on them, except for the purple one. She had a concentrated look, like when you’re trying to do a really, really, REALLY hard calculus question. She closed her eyes, and then her horn glowed, a purple, dark aura. She then fired the energy at me. I responsively move my hand with the gun in front of my face to protect me from harm. Fortunately, the aura hit my gun, not me. Unfortunately…
It destroyed my gun.
“Wha-what!?” I yelled, astounded by the action.
“THERE! Now, let her go!” She yelled at me angrily. I grin evilly.
“Fine.” I say slyly, as I shove her to them. “Here, catch!” I then turn around and sprint off, seeing that while they are distracted, I can make a run for it.
“GET HIM!!” They yelled, and then the chase began.
*End Flashback*
Well, that’s the story, and now I’m here trying not to collapse out of pure tiredness from running for so damn long. The rain was cooling, cold, and refreshing at the same time. But all of a sudden I trip on something. Don’t know what it is, until I look behind me.
And see a small pebble.
…
…
…
What… the… fu-
“HA! Now yer trapped ‘ere, creature!” The orange one had said to me. I look at them and (quickly) get up. I turn around and saw that I had landed on the edge of the cliff. I turn back around to see that damn purple one using her magic to turn the rainy storm into a bright, sunny day. I have to squint my eyes for a couple of seconds so I can get adjusted to the new amount of light.
I glare at the orange one who had said that to me and smirk. “No, I’m not trapped. Not at all.” She had a confused look.
“Wha?” she started to say. I quickly turn around and sprint to the edge of the cliff. I look down, and see a lake.
I turned around, smiled and said, “Hasta la Vista, baby!” Knowing that the distance from the top of the water from the edge of this cliff was 80ft., so it was okay to jump. I spread my arms out.
And fall off the edge of the cliff.
“WAIT!” the orange one screamed, as she charged to the edge. She stuck her face out of the edge, and for a couple seconds, I gazed into her worried, green emerald eyes. I flipped myself to where I was upside down, and dived straight into the icy water. I was thankful that it was in fact a deep lake, so I ended up uninjured.
I swam up to the surface of the lake, gasping for breath. I coughed up some water before recovering. The icy water had refreshed me very much, enough to restore my energy from all the sprinting I had been doing for the past 10 minutes. I got out of the water and ran off away from the lake.
*3rd Person*
“He’s good. Ah think ya’ll gonna have uh hard time fighting him.” said Applejack.
“No, we just have to analyze him and his skills…” inquired Twilight Sparkle.
“Why? I would just go in for the attack, and knock him down. That way, he can’t go anywhere, and then he’s finished.” said Rainbow Dash, a little cocky.
“Rainbow Dash, dear, we have to listen to Twilight.” said Rarity, in her high-social-class voice.
“M-m-maybe w-w-we should j-j-just leave him alone…” Fluttershy sheepishly said.
“*GASP* NOOOOOOOO! Wehavetoseewhatheisandwhathelikesand, and, and EVERYTHING!!!” Pinkie Pie said in a speed that would make Sonic The Hedgehog impressed
“No, we have to read about him, first. To study him. Well, to the library!” said Twilight Sparkle with a bit of excitement.
(Cue that old Batman thing)
“Ah-HAH! Here it is!” exclaimed Twilight, grabbing a book off a shelf.
“‘Celestial Creatures from other Worlds’?” asked Rainbow Dash, rubbing her head with her hoof, confused.
“Yes. This old book might just tell us what species he is and where he is from.” Twilight said, blowing off the front cover, dust going everywhere.
She flipped through the seemingly-unlimited amount of pages, trying to find what they needed.
“THERE! That’s him, isn’t it, Twilight?” said Pinkie Pie, plopping her hoof on the page. Twilight squinted her eyes to read the fine print.
“‘HOMO SAPIEN. Otherwise known as a ‘human’, they are anthropomorphic, having hands and feet rather than hooves. They grow a lack of fur, with the exception of on the head, underarms, and lower extremities. They do not have fore and rear legs, only having one pair of legs and having a set of ‘arms’. They are usually calm, but can get angered, and when in this state, they can get destructive. Humans feel the same emotions and are sentimental, just as us ponies, but the ‘human race’ is unique: no human is exactly the same. Every’one’ of them is different.’
“Look, here is a picture of one.” Rainbow Dash pointed out.
“I-it looks just like our ‘friend’” exclaimed Applejack.
“Indeed, AJ.” said Rarity.
“C’mon, let’s go find him!” said Twilight with excitement.
*Solid Snake P.O.V*
“Mmm...Tasty!” I said with delight as I was eating a fish that I caught, which resembled salmon. I was starting to rip out some of the delicious meat when I heard some footsteps. Judging by the rhythm, it was a group of animals, and I knew who that group was. I stood up, kicked the fish away, and turned around to see that horrible group of 6 ponies, walking calmly toward me with a serious look on each one of them.
“Well, long time, no see.” I say jokingly, smirking.
“Yes, it has. However, we have come to calmly talk about our problem.” said the violet one.
“Really, ‘cause last time, you decided to go on the offence. But now, you want to talk? Interesting, to say the least.” I reply coldly.
“Listen, what we did was wrong, and we are here to help you, and make a truce.”
“Hmmm…” I say, while stroking my stubble. I didn’t trust them, not by a long shot, but they are my only way and chance to survive. I sigh and walk toward them, towering over them. They back up a step, but I smiled and held out my hand for a handshake. The purple one gave a genuine smile and offered her hoof. We shook on it, and we started talking.
*10 Minutes Later*
“So, that’s how you got here, dear?” said Rarity. We were inside Twilight’s, the purple one, home, which was a giant oak tree carved on the inside to make a fit home. It turns out this tree is also the public library. We have been talking about me and them. They are a group called the Mane 6, who are the bearers of these things that protect the planet called the Elements of Harmony. Each one bears one, mostly resembling that specific pony. For example, Applejack, the beautiful orange one, is the Element of honesty, and that she could see right through any lie.
Sounds like this place came right out of a little girl's’ imagination.
“Yeah, I was on this mission to find this robotic machine, which I will explain later, Twilight.” I said as I glanced at Twilight, who was probably taking notes with a scroll and quill.
They need modern technology.
“Anyway, I was walking through the enemy base, and I see this hatch, and judging by what my partner Otacon said, to what should’ve lead to Metal Gear, the machine, and a huge gust of wind greeted me. I was startled, and I look behind me to get away, and then I see this bright, white flash, and next thing I know, I wake up here.” They looked shocked, and I just nodded.
“Very interesting. And, what was your name again?” questioned Twilight.
“Solid Snake. Hey, I’m gonna go into town to explore. C’mon, let’s go!” I say, and rushed out the door.
“WAIT!” Applejack started to say, but I was long gone.
*Twilight's P.O.V*
I sigh because of Snake. He doesn’t listen very well, but he is remarkably brave.
“Ugh, that man can’t listen very well, ya’ll agree?” said Applejack, clearly feeling the same way I do.
“Oh, quite yes, he is very brave.” agreed Rarity.
“We should get him, right, girls?” I said, and they nodded, well, all but Rainbow Dash.
“What!? No! If he won’t listen, let him go. It doesn’t make sense to help somepony that doesn’t listen to us.” she said, angrily. She always had to disagree with something.
“Rainbow Dash, he is our friend. And you are loyal to your friends, right?” I say, shutting her up and continued to walk out with the other 4. She shook her head, sighed, and followed.
