A smile did break through, though barely, making Celestia’s lips seem to quiver just for a moment before the frown regained its hold. Her beautiful sister could not have missed it, her detailed eyes always catching the slightest shifts on Celestia’s face. She too smiled in a similar way, though the frown that took her lips was one of confusion and curiosity, rather than the ire that held sway on her sister’s.
“What is the matter?” she asked, taking strides into the room as the door locked behind her. “Your message said only that you needed—”
Luna’s hand shot up to her throat in surprise at the unmistakable tingle of her sister’s magic. Celestia watched her in silence as she bobbed and sucked her thumb. The frown she had worn was softer now, a ghost of its former self.

Leaning down, they kissed once again, though with warmth and love leaving no room for even lust to make a showing. Breaking apart, Luna backed away and drew Celestia from her chair, only to lay her down upon the bed. There they curled up together, Luna holding her sister close.
It took mere seconds for Celestia to fall prey to the overwhelming forces drawing her towards sleep. Nestled in her lover's embrace, exhausted in body and mind, her eyes slid closed and she nearly missed Luna's soft whisper of, “You owe me big time for this.”
