It was the only memento you had of your family after the loan sharks came.
You take the revolver and put it to your mouth.
This was your own personal game of Russian roulette which you started 4 days ago when you got fired.
It wasn't really too interesting at first but now you had a 50-50 chance of getting shot as the revolver was a 6 barreled one. Saddly enough you weren't sure which outcome you would consider a win.
You take a deep breath and Pull the trigger.

By the end of the day you have won 1 000 000 000 and as a way of making you stop betting on their tables the casino owner had given you a sweet in their hotel. After all you had kept betting all in again and again and your luck just wouldn't stop.
Yes the thought of killing yourself was now nothing more then a distant memory that seemed unreal.
Why would you want to kill yourself you have enough money to get anyone or anything you wanted. Sure you had a tough break with your parents but things could be a lot worse.

As you hear glass shatter around, you feel relieved as a great burden is lifted from your mind.

As you do you feel immense pain in the back of your head as your brain escapes your skull . But it doesn't last long and soon you fall to the ground.
You see a puddle of blood appear on the flour before everything goes black.
You awaken (much to your surprise) to a rocking sensation.
As you look around you notice that you are in what appears to be a big wooden boat.
As you pull yourself to barf overboard you see your reflection in the water..

"3 strikes and your out." -You say to yourself as you head into the bathroom and fill your bath tub to the brim.
You get in and relax for a bit then a sudden thought comes to your mind.
{I could just go under the water and drown and not have to suffer trough this pathetic excuse of a life.}
As you think this you slowly submerge your head beneath the surface.
You begin to feel pain in your lungs from the lack of air as your muscles begin to spasm uncontrollably in a futile attempt to get you to go over the surface but you do not.
You keep your resolve and stop your mussels as best you can. Then finally you feel your body relax a bit as everything goes dark.
You are then pulled from the piece and the darkness by a sudden jolt. Your attention is immediately drawn to a strange light above you and as you attempt to breath in you realize that you are surrounded by water.

You attempt to get up to warm yourself. This wasn't how it was supposed to be your luck should have turned around . You were not giving up on life.
As you attempted to lift your arms you hear tearing. You continued thinking you tore your bloody clothes that had gotten stuck to the floor.
As your hands came in your vision you were horrified to see that your skin had been torn and a lot of blood was spraying everywhere.
The sight drove you to vomit but since your head was facing up you began to choke on your own vomit.
Your self-preservation instincts kicked in and your body stood up sitting. Immense pain pulsed in your back and then you felt something you never wanted to feel.
Your skeleton was exiting your skin little by little you attempted to stay still so at least you wouldn't have to suffer the immense pain but then a devilish wind blew at your back and you moved from the pain the movement created more pain and so raving in agony you slowly die in what appears to be an eternity for you.

You feel no pain no sadness or regret just calmness as a slight breeze passes around you carrying small snowflakes as the last of the snowflakes passes your eyes close for the last time.

When you awaken you are laying on your back and you feel cold. Above you seems to be a mirror of some kind as you look at your reflection you see a dark deformed figure of so something you just know isn't natural.
As the figure stares back at you a sudden realization strikes you when you shiver slightly from the cold.
Whatever that strange thing was it was you. You felt a strange unsettling warmth and as your vision was obscured by green flames.
In your panic you jump to your new feet and begin to run with no clear direction in sight just wanting to get away from all the strangeness you were experiencing.
{Fuck, Hell, Shit . Insanity. Fuck. Fuck. Shit . What the fuck is happening to me?} These are the thoughts that go trough your mind before you can regain some self control again.
You find yourself buck naked in the middle of a snow storm. You don't know how or when it happened but your body was human again. You had exited the cave you awoke in some time ago.
The only thing you could see was some light coming from what appeared in the distance. Well that and the snow storm which was growing stronger

You attempt to break the ice but its no use if anything the ice begins to creep up your body. soon only your head is left unfrozen and before the ice covers you completely a deafening howl comes from behind you.
Then the ice covers you and you are no more.

As you head for the light you hear a howl behind you which prompts you to pick up your pace.
As you get closer to the light you realize its actually a lot of small lights in what appears to be a big City.
When You get even closer you see that there is a clear line where the snow becomes green grass.
Not caring how or why it was the way it was you step on the green grass.
As you are still warming up from nearly freezing to death you hear a stern voice.
"Surrender creature."-As you look back you see what appears to be a miniature hoarse with an unnatural blue colored fur all dressed up in golden armor and pointing a spear at you.

You seem to catch it off guard as it had relaxed after seeing that you were cooperating.
You manage to avoid the spear completely and land a single punch into its face.
You put everything you had into that punch and yet you knew that it would stun it at beast but perhaps you thought that would be enough time for you to take its weapon and kill it.
Seconds later you are shocked and disgusted at the sight which you were seeing.
Your punch had managed to smash in the poor equines head and your knuckled fist now stood lodged into what used to be that creatures throat.
As you attempt to get your hand free you hear a booming shout.
"Die you monster." As you look up to see where the shout is coming from so that you can defend from the attacker you are covered in pinck light before you feel your skin begin to peal off.
In seconds you are reduced to ash.

Then before you could react in any way the flames came at you from all sides and you turned to nothing before you could even feel the flames.

"I think that I will stay with thee"-You say a bit hesitantly. Then you can swear that you feel the creature rejoice before its mood becomes uncaring as it was before your answer.
"Not yet. You need to get a bit older first. Make your own decisions rather then have me make them for you."-The creature said with an even tone within your consciousness. Before you can question it you find yourself detached from the creature the knowledge it had shared with you slowly disappearing from your thoughts.
Suddenly you realize that for the first time in your existence you were truly alone. The thought felt both frightening and liberating but above all else it felt confusing. In your confusion you begin to shape a new body for yourself desperate to regain at least partially your connection to other creatures by regaining the ability to feel,see ,smell and hear but in your hurry you make a body that is a jumbled mess of mismatched body parts from different creatures.
You could fix this mistake easily but you are in a hurry to make other creatures that you could connect to as on second observation of your surroundings you had found out that there was nothing there. You begin to craft stars and planets from the within the void of nothingness you were currently located in. It was a slow process but your body did not age and you had nothing better to do as there was literally nothing else in the void to amuse yourself with.
At some point in the process of creating life so you can interact with it you forgot to fix your body.

You charge at the abomination as fast as you can hoping to catch it off guard.
It reacts faster then you expected and swung its spear at you with great precision and force that you never thought possible without the use of hands.
You barely avoided the blow but the side of the spear cut you lightly. It was a shallow wound.
As you attempt to regain your balance but your body began to burn with that same strange green fire and you saw how your hands became stumps with holes in them .
You completely forgot about the abomination wielding a weapon and began screaming and falling all over yourself as your body began to burn with the same green fire and change into things you had only seen in your nightmares.
Before you could regain any sense of composure you felt your momentum halted as the spear had made your body into some sort of strange dish for giants.
At the very least the evil fires disappear and your body becomes the strange thing with holed stubs for hands and legs.
"Die you changeling scum." You hear the abomination scream before you see his stumps of feed slam into your head. And then everything disappears.

"3 strikes and your out." -You say to yourself as you head for the sink and pour yourself a glass of water.
Then you go back to the drawer where you kept the anti-depressants you had prescribed to you after your parents death and open the container holding them.
"I should just end it. I don't have anything left to live for. Yeah I should just end it while I at least have the choice of how it happens."-You say to no one in particular as you turn the container and get as many pills as your hand can hold then you stuff them in your mouth and swallow slowly as a few pills fell to the ground..
You take a small sip of your water while you wait for the pills to kick in.
Suddenly a surge of happiness comes over you.
You can feel you are either foaming and the room is spinning so fast that you begin to fall but it didn't matter because you were happy.
Everything becomes hazy and you are engulfed by light before that joy too just like everything in your life turns into darkness.
You awaken in a dark cave you feel water or more accurately sludge covering your body.
A bit hesitantly you shake it of as you are mesmerized by the pretty green color of a pound of what appears to be some sort of liquid.
As you stand next to the green pond you see your reflection

You turn around and begin to run from the strange creature screaming your lungs out.
Shortly after you exit the warm circle your naked body is hit by a cold blizzard and you halt your step for a second.
Just as you start walking again you feel pain in your left leg as you look down you see that the spear the small hoarse was holding earlier had passed clean trough your knee cap and its tip was firmly planted in the snow.
As you scream out in pain your body is engulfed in a green flame.
Suddenly you no longer feel pain you look down to see that your hands and feet have turned into stubs with holes in them and the spear had passed clear trough one of the holes.
Before you could comprehend what was happening you heard the creature scream at you.
"Changeling scum prepare to die." -You however fueled by your anxiety of what was happening began running as best you could.
Fortunately for you the green flames had melted enough ice to allow the spear to move and you managed to get away from the strange creature and the only warm place you knew of.
Once you had calmed down over almost dying and being turned into whatever you were now you began to feel hunger and cold.
As you began thinking of ways you could return to the warm place while avoiding the evil mini-hoarse you heard a howl.
In mere seconds you see your body freeze up as what appeared to be a wolf made of smoke stared you down.
Then in a swift motion it Lunged at you as your eyes were covered by ice. It seemed like everything shattered before it all went black.

As the realization dawns on you fear and confusion overtake you.
After about 20 minutes of screaming and tripping over the new hooves you now had to use for transportation you calm down enough to notice that you are in an ice cavern and that there is a big snow storm going on outside.
{I wish I had someway to warm up I am going to freeze if I don't do something.}. Suddenly you felt a strong throb from your forehead as something resembling a horn which you hadn't noticed up until now began to glow illuminating the entire cave.

As you get out of the snow you feel a lot colder and you realize that if you are to survive you must find a better shelter. One not made of ice or snow.
Before you could even begin to walk in the snow storm however you see what appears to be a wolf made of snow staring at you.
As your eyes met it let out a howl and charged at you.
As you closed your eyes in preparation for the impact you were surprised when you felt nothing for a few seconds.
When you opened your eyes you saw that you had been completely incased in ice. Unable to move.
Then you heard the dreaded howl again before your view shatters as if a broken glass and you die.

Somewhat reluctantly you take a bite from the cookie.
Instantly your mind is bombarded with information. Information you wished to know and information you didn't want and information that you never even suspected existed.
A near infinite number of universes each with millions upon billions of years of knoleadge and all of that information was pouring into you. Every second from every view point.
At first you were afraid and tried to fight against the flood of information but all the information which you managed to forget will just keep on coming back until your mind absorbed it.
Then you submitted and tried to remember everything in hopes that it would end faster. In doing so your sense of self shattered into millions of peace's you tried to catch them to hold onto as much as you could but the overflowing flood of information overwhelmed you and you were only able to hold a small fraction of yourself.
It might have been seconds or eons before you absorbed all the information. Time didn't really matter to you as you were now. You were both everywhere and every when. Yet as the information began to stop flowing in you began to feel content yet somehow empty as if there was something missing.
"So what now?"-You heard the same booming voice echo throughout reality not allowing you to ignore it. You knew that it would wait for as long as it had to for its answer. From what this creature allowed you to learn of it you knew it was much like you were now a being of pure knowledge. Except unlike you it wasn't limited to what was ,is or will be but rather also had a grasp of what wasn't ,isn't and will never be. Given how hard it was for you to attempt to find information in the river of knowledge that was your thoughts you could only assume how futile it was for this creature. So from the interactions which you remembered with it both those of your original self and those of others you were certain it had been doing this for a long time.
Not that time mattered since all it needed was the determination to keep trying until it got it right.
