"Man, what a an amazing world I'm in." I wrote down in my dairy, or journal as I like to call it. Cause the name 'Dairy' seemed too girly for a man to name their journals.

I lie there on my couch, writing down what had happen to me so far. Figuring that I didn't want to forget about the great things that's happen to me so far since arriving to Equestria. I found this old book in this house and thought that this could come in handy.

"Equestria. A place where, magic really does exist. I wanna say that this is all a dream, and that this can't be real. But no matter how hard I try to ignore it, the same answer comes back to me every, single, time."

It had been about a year since my arrival. I had no idea what to do, or where to go. with nothing but fear, and despair running through my thoughts, I thought that this might be the end. That was until I met the creatures of this world.

The ponies of Ponyville didn't really like the way I looked, nor did they wanted me around. I wanted to leave and find my way home, but then again, I don't even know what brought me here.

A few weeks after meeting the Princess of the land, Princess Twilight Sparkle, she knew for sure that I was scared and harmless. She was kind enough to help me through my tough time and welcomed me to her world and her kingdom. I found myself a house somewhere outside of town, and made a new life for myself. with many questions and thoughts running through my head, I just shrugged the thoughts and figured that whatever brought me here would..Soon, fix everything.

It started back a year ago, about three months past since I got here.

I was just sitting on the floor in a library, just reading some random books that could tell me little more this world's magic. I've done some research on the matter of transportation and other means about what could have brought me here. There were so many facts and interesting things that might have  a clue, but none seemed to be the ones I was looking for.

I think I've read about...Five or maybe eight, but I started thinking about any magical items that could caused this mess. Some books contained the answers I was looking for, but as usual, nothing came out good.

The answers and many theories were some what different than how the humans explained magic.

"Argh!" I groan. "There's nothing here that can help me!" I felt upset about the whole 'No Answer At All' thing, and placed the book back on top of the stacks of books and fell on my back.

Of course, I had figured that I would be able to understand this world's way of explaining. Since I haven't been reading or studding anything magic or science fiction at all back on Earth. I've been so busy with my life that it hasn't come up, until now.

I hear the door crack open and turned my head to see who it was. It was Spike, Twilight's assistant, he walked into the room after closing the door behind him.

"Hey dude," Spike greet me. "what's with the noise?"

"Oh, you heard that?" I looked at him and chuckled to myself.

I sat back up as Spike took a seat next to me, "Whoa!" he exclaimed. "Man, I never thought I see another creature who read so many books other than Twilight." Spike pointed to the stacks of books next to me, I scratch the back of my head for I felt embarrassed.

I just laughed. "Yeah. I mean, since I got a lot of time on my hands, I might as well try to figure out what happen." I turn to look at Spike and notice that he had something in his hand. "What's that?"

Spike saw my finger pointing at the book in his hand. He hold it up to my face and spoke proudly. "This my friend! Is an another exciting comic book adventure of, The Power Ponies!" I chuckled. He almost sounded like an announcer of some random superhero show.

Man, I should be surprised that this world also has comic books as well. I figured that they couldn't draw with their hooves having the hard time holding a pencil, but how wrong I was.

"The Power Ponies?" I asked. It sounded like 'Power Rangers' to me. But I wondered if it was something that, or maybe something different.

Spike looked at me with a confused look, which caught me off guard. "The Power Ponies! They are like the coolest super ponies ever! They have these special powers and abilities, they're so awesome, you'll want to collect the complete series!" I guess I much have ticked him off somehow.

That's when he opened his book and started showing me pages and telling me the story so far up to today's issue. Believe me, I like comic books just like the next guy, but I wouldn't go crazy over one series. But I didn't want to hurt his feelings, or make him mad and question me again. So I sat there and read along with Spike as he explains to me what's happening.

I did needed a break anyways. something to help take my mind off of my studding.

                                                                                       -----A Few Minutes Later-----

The day went by as me and Spike read a few comics that he brought from his room. It was a big box full of them, he said that Twilight's brother, Shinning Armor, said that he could have them since he was too grown up for them and didn't want them to go to waste. Huh, that was nice of him.

I wonder how much time had passed. I've been busy reading some of Spike's comics and seemed very amazed by how hard these ponies have worked on their drawings and panels. It like these ponies how been doing this kinda thing their whole lives, maybe I should look for one of these artist and ask how they do it.

As I read one of the comics when I notice that Spike had falling asleep on my lap a while ago. I never thought that comic books would put anybody to sleep. Many those who aren't interested, but I figured it would be the ones who don't read.

I put the book down and just straighten Spike a little so he sleep better in a comfortable position. I let his head sleep on my lap as his arms and legs just curled up in a ball. He slept soundly as I just pulled out a book from the stack of books behind me and just did a little studding before leaving.

Reading nothing but some spells that almost anyone could do. The famous magician, who mange to perform many spells and magic had like a whole history of great thing he's accomplished over the years before his pasting. too bad I can't meet him, maybe he would have had an idea on how to get me back home.

Just as I continued my reading, the door was heard again, and I looked up to see who it was. It was Princess Twilight, but she wanted me to just call her by her first name. she enter the room and made her way towards me and Spike, she notice her assistant sleeping on my lap and just smiled at the site. She even chuckled as well.

Twilight also notice the big box of comics beside us and shook her head. "Boys will be boys." she said looking at Spike.

"Hi," I greeted her. I guess it was time for me to leave, I do have work tomorrow anyways.

I place the book back and I hear Twilight giggling from behind me. "Wow! I didn't you would read this much."

"Well, I gotta learn somehow, right?" I gave Twilight a smile and she smiled back in agreement. I didn't blame her, I mean, with so many books about nothing but magic. It was the only thing I can do and read since I'm still trying to find a way home. I don't hate it here, I just don't belong among these colorful creatures.

I got up and started picking up the books that left on the floor. But before I could touch the first one, a purple aura covered all the books and started to float in the air before me.

I turn to look at Twilight, her horn was glowing, I think this is how they perform their magic. "Need any help?" she asked. I thought it was my responsibility to put the books back on the shelves, but I guess since she knows this room better than I do, plus I didn't want to be rude and not except her help.

It took us like almost an hour to put the books back. We finally finish when I soon realize that Spike is still sleeping on the floor. I was gonna pick him, but that magical aura appeared again and I knew right away who that was.

Spike started to float in the air as Twilight walked over to the door with me and Spike behind her. We made our way through the castle as Spike was sent flying into the bedroom. "Don't worry, he'll be fine. And those comics, I'll deal with them later."

I started making my way to the front door when I heard a loud thunder clap which catch me off guard. I open the door and saw that it was raining outside at night. "Darn." I said to myself. "I knew I should have brought a jacket."

I was ready to walk into the rain and head for home, but I felt something grab my hand. looking back I notice Twilight standing behind me, holding my hand in her hoof.

"Hey," she called out my name. "You know, you don't have to walk all the way home in the rain. I mean, you could stay here for the night. If you want.."

This was the first time a Princess has ever offered me to sleepover in a castle, or the only girl who ever wanted me to stay at her place. I look back at the raining night and tell that this wasn't gonna let up anytime soon.

Twilight was giving me an offer that I can't just turn down, not cause she was a girl and it would be rude. But she was also a Princess, and I have to be respectful to her kind offer. So I just nodded my head and closed the door.

                                                                                       -----A few Minutes Later-----

Twilight and me just talked for a while as we sat on the couch, talking about this world's history and the many things that's happen before this. Believe me, she just love telling me all the great spells and stories that just seemed to get her all excited. I didn't mind, it was nice talking to a girl for once since it felt like years to me.

I look over to the clock and saw that it was very late. Twilight turned her head to the clock and saw what time it was and gasp in horror. "Oh my gosh! I didn't mean to keep you up all night. I forgot you got work tomorrow, I'm so sorry--"

"Hey hey, it's alright." I calmed her down a little. Twilight soon went silent as her ears drop down. "I don't mind, I mean, I've never got to chance to have a conversation with a Princess before. Plus you had so many interesting stories to tell, I didn't want to stop you from doing what you loved."

I smiled at her hoping that she would smile back too, and she did. "That's, so nice to hear. I mean, whenever I try explain things about magic and history I would just bore some of the ponies to sleep. Some of them don't listen for very long, at least, not this long."

I knew what she meant. Even when I talk to people I would pick out the wrong words and make them walk away from me. I wasn't a good talker either.

"I wish we could talk a little more. But you got work in the morning and I wouldn't wanna cause you to fall asleep at work." she smiled shyly and blushed.

"It's okay, I enjoy the conversation too." I was about to get when I look at Twilight once again to see she felt a little sad about ending my little friendly talk. "Hey," Twilight looked up at me and waited for to answer. "you know, if you want. We could have a chat later after I get off work. If you want?"

Twilight's ears poke up and smiled at me. "I would love that." she jumped off the couch and showed me to the guest room where I slept for the night.

"I'll see you in the morning I guess." she spoke shyly

"Yeah. Good night."

"Good night." she closed the door and I walked over to the bed. Nice room, I see she wants her guests to feel at home. Twilight is a really good friend. I wonder if she had a hard time becoming a Princess? Best if I don't ask that.

I climb into bed and stare up at the ceiling thought to myself. 'Can I even find a way home?' It was a good and difficult question to answer. Maybe the answer will turn up soon. If I just wait for a while.

But something inside me, is saying there's something missing. I mean, I didn't bring any of my things nor did I bring any clothes with me. That's the only problem I'm dealing with. But...Why do I feel, some what, incomplete?
