The sun was shining, the birds were singing, and everypony was gathered around Ponyville to witness a strange object in the dirt path. Wait. What? “Hey! What’s going on?” asked Twilight, flying towards the crowd. “It’s a strange object! I don’t know what it is!” Derpy addressed. “Let me see.” Twilight saw a green egg-like object in the dirt. “I’ll take care of it.” Twilight picked up the object and headed towards her castle. Twilight and Spike then grabbed some books and started doing some research. “What do you think it is?” asked Spike. “I don’t know.” Twilight replied. The object started to crack. “Uh… Twilight…” Twilight turned around and started noticing the object cracking even more. “Spike? What did you do?” “I didn’t even touch it!” The object had something inside. That something got out of its shell and opened its eyes. It was a baby female changeling. “Oh no. No, No, no, no, no, no!” “What is it Twi…” The baby looked at Twilight. Twilight started panicking. “This can’t be! A changeling! IN PONYVILLE!” “What are we going to do?” “I… DON’T… KNOW!!!” The baby started crying. Twilight then grabbed her and started to calm her down. “There, there. It’s alright.” The baby stopped. “Hey, I think it likes you!” “It does. Doesn’t it?” “Are you going to keep her?” “I don’t know.” Then the baby all of a sudden disappeared in Twilight’s arms. But she could still feel her. “Where did she go?” Then the baby re-appeared in her arms. “Woah… It has the ability to turn invisible! Not transform into other ponies!” “I bet it doesn’t feed off love either. FEED! She must be hungry…” “Well, let’s go to Sugarcube Corner then!” So, Twilight and Spike went to Sugarcube Corner. When they got there, all of Twilight’s friends were there. “Hi Twilight!” cheered Pinkie. “Uh… Hi! Got milk?” “Uh… yeah! This is Sugarcube Corner! Why you ask?” “Because…” Twilight held up the baby changeling with her magic. “This changeling was abandoned. And I think I know why. She can’t transform into other ponies or feed of love.” “Well, I’ll be! A baby channeling!” cheered Applejack. “It’s rather nice! If I do say so myself.” Rarity approved. “She’s awesome!” Rainbow Dash claimed. “It’s… nice.” Fluttershy whispered. “So… what are you going to name her?”asked Pinkie Pie. “I think I’ll call her Vanish. Because she can disappear.” Everypony cheered at the name. “Oh! And here’s you milk.” Pinkie Pie gave the milk to Twilight and she gave it to Vanish. She drank it like she hasn’t in years. Vanish threw the bottle. Luckily, Twilight cached it before it could do any damage. “She wants more!” “Well, what are we waiting for? Let’s give her some more!” Vanish actually drank 2 more bottles. Then she fell asleep into Twilight’s arms. “I think its nap time.” Twilight and Spike went home to put Vanish to bed. It didn’t take long for her to fall asleep. Twilight found and old blanket and wrapped it around Vanish. She placed her into an old crib. “Good night.” Whispered Twilight as she kissed her, turned off the lights, and left the room. //-------------------------------------------------------// A Busy Day For Twilight //-------------------------------------------------------// A Busy Day For Twilight Chapter 2: A Busy Day For Twilight Dear Princess Celestia, I Found A Changeling egg last night. But no worries! She can't transform into other ponies or feed off love! Crazy, right? Anyways, just letting you know before you arrive in Ponyville tomorrow. Sincerely, Twilight Sparkle "I can't wait for Celestia to come tomorrow!" cheered Twilight as she bounced around the room. "Me... too..." Spike choked as he struggled with Vanish. "Oh. Let me help you with her." Twilight picked up baby Vanish with her magic and looked her in the eye. "Now Vanish, don't play on Uncle Spike. He is not a jungle gym!" Vanish started staring at a toy dragon across the room. "Vanish, are you listening to me?" Vanish started crying. "Vanish? What do you want?" She continued crying. "Uh... here! Have Sir Flames-A-Lot!" Spike grabbed the toy dragon and held into Vanish's eyes. She jumped for joy as she played with the toy. "You knew just what she wanted! How do you do that?" "I don't know! It just came to me!" There was a knock on Twilight's castle doors. "Who is it?" "Rainbow Dash!" shouted Rainbow Dash. "Come...OW! In..." Vanish pokes Twilight in the eye. Rainbow opened the castle doors and flew into the empty room Twilight was in. Which was not too far away from the doors. "Twilight, I have some bad news." "What is it? OW!" Vanish now pulled at her mane. "There will be  a weekly strom starting in a few hours!" "WHAT? But Princess Celestia is supposed to be arriving tomorrow!" "I'm sorry. It's just the weather team doing their job." Rainbow left the castle to tell the rest of Ponyville the bad news. "*sigh* I was really looking forward to her meeting Vanish." "Don't worry, Twilight! All you have to do is wait a few days!" A burst of thunder was heard all around Ponyville. "They must be getting ready." Vanish started squeezing Twilight's leg. She started whimpering. "I think she's scared of thunder and lightning." "Oh... don't be scared. I'm right here." Vanish started crying. "What do I do, Spike?" "I don't know!" Twilight started humming a tune. Vanish started stopping to cry. Another burst of thunder was heard. Spike started hugging Vanish. "Don't worry, we're here." Vanish started yawning. She fell asleep in Twilight's arms. "Aw...." "It is her nap time anyway." Twilight placed her into the same place she did last night. "Sweet dreams, my Vanish."
