AN: (READ) Now this took a while...I think it sucks. But anyways here is a small one shot of what happens after Fluttershy and Discord lost their foal. Now I am very sorry if there are any mistakes, a few repeated words, or if the writing seems a bit confusing. As to why that would be is there were 'VERY' large gaps in between writing this as it took a long time due to deep thinking of where my AU is gonna be heading. Also I have been trying to improve my writing. For my next generation universe called the Solarverse (or Nightmareverse) I am planning on making a book about my entire next gen that will kinda be like making a series I guess. You'll get to see more of my next gen characters. Anyways thanks for reading, all criticism is welcomed and seriously bring it on cause it helps a lot with improving.

Fluttershy remembered the day she lost her foal as if it were yesterday, and of course she still felt deep sadness for such a terrible loss. Fluttershy was sure the pain would never go away, as well as for her husband, who for the first time acted extremely depressed for two whole weeks. Discord acted fine now, he was still his crazy, chaotic, and lovable self, but still when the days were over, he would always act slightly strange.
Discord tried to get over the loss of a foal, but what hurt the most was that he had been so excited to have a child and be a father, something he was denied all his life. Yes, the thought did occur to him that he and Fluttershy could try again for a another foal, but Discord didn't know Fluttershy's condition when it came to such things and he never wanted to lose a child ever again. Discord was trying to fully get over it now, but the pain of losing his first child so early still stung and pricked at his heart.
Fluttershy had tried to cheer Discord up a week ago by saying they could try again, but she too feared of such a thing happening to her child, and what Fluttershy feared most was that she would never be able to have any foals with Discord. It was only one miscarriage, and before they had left the hospital the doctor said that it most likely wouldn't happen again, but Fluttershy still felt unsure about any of it. After having another conversation with Discord just yesterday, they decided that the best thing to do was just wait for a while and not think about it, and a foal was something they should dismiss until things passed over.
Fluttershy's friends started giving visits more often lately, and she could tell it was because they were worried for the two and wanted to help cheer them up. It really did help Fluttershy to see her friends a lot, since she had kinda gone into solitude for a while. But she wasn't sure about Discord. Fluttershy wanted to do another attempt to cheer Discord and herself up a little, and take his mind off of things by asking the CMC if they wanted to come play at her cottage, which thankfully seemed to take Discord away from his thoughts.
Fluttershy smiled softly, her eyes held a bright glow, and her mane softly flowed around her body from the wind as she relaxed on the porch of her cottage. It was very beautiful today, it was the beginning of fall and trees were slowly changing color over the days. The temperature was just perfect in this time of the year, it was cool but not too cool, and the sun was warm, casting a blanket of light over your skin and when you got too hot, the cool winds would bristle against your fur.
What was so relaxing and peaceful to Fluttershy in this very moment wasn't the weather, or the beauty of the outside, but watching her husband laugh and play among the three young fillies jumping around and running as Discord chased them. They laughed along with him and screamed whenever he almost caught them, and from what she could tell was that Discord was purposely going slow as to keep the game of chase going. This was exactly what they both needed, some time to play and relax instead of staying cooped up in her cottage all day out of depression.
Fluttershy found herself giggling when the CMC tricked Discord into running into a tree, making him go head first and flop onto his back with his hind legs and tail hanging in front of his face. The CMC screamed in amused laughter, clutching their stomachs and rolling on the ground. Discord only laughed and quickly rolled so he was now on his stomach before moving to tackle them to the ground within a couple seconds, causing the little ones to scream in delight before laughing and trying to break free from Discord as he started tickling them.
This was exactly what they needed, a chance to get there mind off of the sadness and enjoy the smalls little joys in the world.
A frown made it's way to Fluttershy's face when she finally realized something. She had been too caught up in her thoughts to think about it but now she looked back and forth, looking for something. When Sweetie Belle and Applebloom came, Scootaloo was acting very strange and somewhat down. She was walking behind the path and she seemed to have some glint of sadness in her eyes.
Fluttershy asked her if anything was wrong but Scootaloo said she was fine and was just tired. Fluttershy could tell that she wasn't being honest with her, but passed it off for the moment as she brought them in to have a drink. Fluttershy now only worried a bit for Scootaloo as she could now see she was no where in sight. She most likely slipped away at one point when Discord was playing with the others.
Fluttershy slowly stood up, her legs wobbling just slightly from laying on them for such a long time and turned towards the open cottage door. Fluttershy moved half way into the cottage and called Scootaloo's name, but there was no answer. She walked into the living room and towards the stairs and called again, but once again there was nothing.
Fluttershy's eyebrows furrowed in confusion as she glanced behind her and back into the cottage. She hoped that she was okay, the last time the CMC went missing they almost got turned into stone by a Cockatrice. Fluttershy turned and walked down from the porch, and began walking towards the forest along side her house.
"Where ya goin Fluttershy?" Asked Applebloom, the small filly walking towards the Pegasus.
Fluttershy starred down at Applebloom and smiled before frowning, and her ears laying back.
"I'm trying to find Scootaloo. Did any of you guys see her? I called for her but I didn't hear anything." Fluttershy explained and Sweetie Belle came up from behind and answered Fluttershy's question.
"I did actually, just about an hour ago I saw her slipping off into the forest. I was gonna get her but ended up in a pile with Apple Bloom and Discord." The white filly said, her hoof pointing in the direction of where she remembered seeing Scootaloo go.
"Scootaloo has been acting kinda weird lately.....I wonder what's going on." Applebloom wondered, a hoof scratching at her chin in thought.
Fluttershy hummed and looked back towards the forest, her legs beginning to walk forward.
"You girls stay here with Discord, I'm gonna go find her and have a little chat." Fluttershy smiled and the two fillies nodded before zooming back to go get Discord for hide and seek.
"Ow!" Fluttershy squeaked as she stepped on a twig, thorns digging up into her hoof and stabbing the unprotected flesh underneath. She had been walking for about a good five minutes, but still she hadn't found Scootaloo. The worry she felt for the pegasus was beginning to increase as she wondered if Scootaloo got hurt, or possibly maybe ran away and got lost.
The thought alone made her walk faster through the forest, and she opened her mouth to call for said filly. She had a good reason for worrying as this forest was very close to the Everfree, and it isn't rare to find some dangerous creatures wondering off into this forest sometimes.
"Scootaloo! Where are you!" Fluttershy called out again but got no answer. Soon the sound of trickling hit her ears, the small appendages on her head swerving towards the direction. Fluttershy changed her rout and headed for the sound, hoping to find the filly near wherever the sound of water was coming from.
Soon an orange figure came in sight and the very familiar purple mane of Scootlaoo stood out from all the trees colors. Fluttershy sighed in relief and moved into a simple trot towards her, taking a breath to say something but a sound cut off her voice and movements immediately. She could have been mistaken but she swore she heard the sound of a sob, and as she starred at the filly with curiosity she saw the smallest tear glistening in the light.
She didn't know if she should talk to her, for she didn't want to scare her or invade her privacy, but something was bothering Scootaloo, and Fluttershy wanted to help. She was very attached to both her and the other CMC, but felt a deeper connection to Scootaloo since she and her had an understanding. Scootaloo as a younger filly, even now she can't seem to get her wings to work, yes she has been able to glide certain distances but other than that she was completely flightless.
It was sad knowing that her wings might be messed up from birth by whoever her mother was, and there was a chance she would never be able to fly. Of course Scootaloo seemed to not act like it bothered her at all, but perhaps this was the case of her sudden sadness. Instead of sitting here quietly, Fluttershy decided she should make herself known, not wanting her to think she was spying in case she was extra emotionally sensitive at the moment.
Taking in a breath and clearing her throat, Fluttershy called to her in a soft voice. "Scootaloo? Are you okay?"
The young Pegasus jumped slightly at being discovered and at seeing Fluttershy, she quickly turned her head and began to wipe at the tears that had been falling down. Once she was sure she got them all, she heard Fluttershy come sit next to her side.
"Scootaloo?" Fluttershy called once more, but Scootaloo held her face away from her in embarrassment.
"Wh-what are you doing out here Fluttershy?" The young filly suddenly asked the mare, trying to hide the sniffle and hoping that her eyes didn't look swollen from her previous crying.
"I could ask you the same thing." Fluttershy replied, tilting her head forward as to try making eye contact. Fluttershy sighed as Scootaloo starred at the lifeless ground beneath her, seeming to feel uncomfortable.
"Scootaloo, is something wrong? Please tell me." Her hoof had reached over and forcefully but with great gentleness, she turned her chin to look straight into her teal orbs.
Now at seeing her face, she assumed that Scootaloo had been crying for quite some time. Her nose was running with a little snot, her eyes were red and her cheeks and eyelashes soaked with the salty liquid.
"Sweety, why were you crying?" She tried to coax the filly, her folded wing coming over her like a warm blanket, trying to show comfort.
"I-it's nothing for you to worry about Fluttershy. I'm just having emotional issues." Scootaloo obviously lied, her foreleg making circular motions in the dirt.
"What about?" Fluttershy asked again, Scootaloo looking at her with furrowed eye brows.
"It's nothing really Fluttershy, let's just go-" Scootaloo had begun to try and leave Fluttershy's side, but the wing didn't budge, despite her being a weak flyer, her wings weren't as weak as she claimed them to be.
"Scootaloo." The mare suddenly said in a stern voice, a sound only heard when she was deeply serious or determined. Hesitantly, Scootaloo relaxed and laid her ears back.
"You have nothing to fear from me Scoots. If you need me to I won't tell anyone about this." Fluttershy smiled lovingly to her, nuzzling the filly with her snout.
She seemed to be getting something as Scootaloo bit her lip and whispered softly, "You won't tell anyone?"
"Unless you want me to yes." Fluttershy replied, Scootaloo giving her a suspicious look.
"Pinkie promise?" She softly asked with cautious eyes.
Fluttershy giggled at the use of the promise Pinkie Pie used, thinking about it brought back good memories when they all had become friends all those years ago. Time had really flown by, almost all of them were married now and they just heard that Rainbow Dash is pregnant with her first foal. It was funny for Fluttershy expected Rainbow Dash of all ponies to get pregnant last than first.
"Pinkie promise. Cross my heart, hope to fly, stick a cupcake in my eye." Fluttershy recited the promise, getting a a soft chuckle as she stuck her fore hoof into her eye.
"Now, what's bothering you?" Fluttershy continued, shifting her body into a more comfortable position, noticing how Scootaloo suddenly became tense and nervous.
"Well....you know the orphanage I stay at? Th-the one for little fillies a little outside of town?" Scootaloo asked to her, glancing briefly at Fluttershy as she answered to her with a nod. "Well you see, quite a few new fillies have recently been placed there, and soon there won't be any room for more."
"Go on." Fluttershy urged at the small pause.
Scootaloo sighed and laid her head down on her crossed forelegs. "They said that in order to make more room, they are going to send all orphans who haven't been adopted for the past five years are going to be transferred." The filly paused again for a gulp.
"Are you upset because one of your friends are leaving?" Fluttershy asked, but seeing the error in her question for she saw no reason for her to hide that from the other CMC. Then the pieces began to fall together and she let out a small gasp.
"Your leaving Ponyville?" Fluttershy softly exclaimed and Scootaloo sadly nodded.
"I am to be transferred to the orphanage in Trottingham, they are pretty empty and no one seems to want me here." Scootaloo finished explaining, Fluttershy now completely understanding her reason for being upset.
"I wouldn't blame them either, who would want a clumsy Pegasus who can't even fly." Scootaloo grumbled, slight frustration in her words as she kicked a rock into a small puddle in front of her. "Stupid wings......."
"Scootaloo don't talk like that. Wings or no wings you're perfect the way you are." Fluttershy scolded gently, her wing pulling her closer.
"But....but what if no one 'ever' wants me?" Scootaloo stuttered, the tears threatening to fall once again. "I had been hoping that Rainbow Dash would come and take me away to a home, but ever since she became a wonder bolt and got married to that Soarin I haven't seen her in two full years!" She choked, trying to fight the emotions rolling inside her. She couldn't help but feel somewhat betrayed when Rainbow didn't come for her, especially when she made a promise never to leave her side just a little while before she got married.
"I don't want to leave my friends! I j-just want to stay here! In Ponyville! It's my home!" Scootaloo started to stutter, hiccuping and covering her mouth with a hoof.
"I don't want......I don't want to go!" It was all she could take and instead of continuing to fight the tears, she let them stream down her drying fur, letting out small cries of sorrow. She had so many memories here in Ponyville, and she made so many friendships almost every pony in school was a very close friend to her, not as close to the CMC but the thought of leaving this place seemed to shoot a hole right through her heart.
"Oh Scootaloo." Fluttershy cooed softly, bringing her into a hug to which the filly willingly came into, wetting the mare's shoulder in her tears. "It's going to be alright.....shhhh." She lovingly caressed her purple mane with her muzzle, her foreleg coming around and going along her small ones.
"I-I was g-going to tell my friends, b-but I can't stand having to say it! I don't want to make them upset!" Scootaloo continued to let out her pain, clutching onto the mare as if she never wanted to let go, as if she could keep her from being taken away.
"Hush now, it's alright." Fluttershy whispered soothingly, staying quiet and gently rocking them softly. She stayed that way for about a minute before pulling away and using her feathers to wipe her eyes.
"Don't worry Scootaloo, I understand. I'm glad you told me this." She smiled to her, enjoying being so close to the filly.
"How will I tell my friends this?" Scootaloo asked in a hushed whisper, trying to regain control on her emotions again. She hated breaking down like that, it was extremely embarrassing and she wanted to be tough. But being with Fluttershy seemed to offer her comfort, and she knew that she could open up to the element of kindness. The one who would understand most.
Fluttershy didn't answer her question, but suddenly an idea popped up in her head as she continued to stare into Scootaloos eyes. She didn't know if Discord would be okay with it, but she felt a determination to make Scootaloo happy.
"You won't have to." Fluttershy suddenly said, making Scootaloo look at her confused.
"Wh-what? What do you mean?" She questioned in wonder to the Pegasus.
"I can't tell you yet, but I promise you," Fluttershy paused to brush back her mane that stuck to her coat and eyes. "That I'll find a way to keep you from being take away."
"Really?" Scootaloo's face held hope, but she felt like whatever she had in mind wouldn't work.
"Yes, for now let's clean you up and go back to play with your friends okay? It's almost lunch time and I'm hungry." Fluttershy said, slowly getting up and using her muzzle to push against Scootaloos stomach, urging the filly to stand.
Scootaloo did move to get up as well, pausing to stare up before smiling and hugging Fluttershy suddenly.
"Thank you for talking to me Fluttershy. It feels better telling someone, it really takes the weight off my chest." Scootaloo whispered against her coat, Fluttershy smiling down at her and once again nuzzling her.
"It's no problem Scoots."
It was completely quiet in the room, no sound from anything other than some chirps from animals and the sound of soft breathing. She wanted to break such silence for she desperately wanted to say something but couldn't seem to get it out. It must have been due to nervousness about what she was planning to say and wondering if now was the right time to do so.
Fluttershy was laying sprawled out on her husbands back, her chin resting on his eagle shoulder as he read a book. That's all he was doing, not telling jokes or even turning the house upside down, just reading a plain old book from the shelf. Well he wasn't exactly being completely casual and unchaotic for he was reading the book upside down.
Over the years Fluttershy never questioned his crazy way of doing things. The CMC had left around supper time yesterday, and Fluttershy couldn't seem to get her mind off of Scootaloo. She promised the filly she would help and keep her from ever having to leave her friends, but now she questioned herself just how.
That's when it hit her that morning, a crazy, amazing idea. She was going to suggest it to Discord as soon as she could but then started to worry if it was really something they should do or not. Now seemed like the perfect time to talk to him about it, there were no distractions and they had nothing to do around the cottage.
The only thing she worried about was if bringing it up would make Discord upset, he was still pretty touchy and going through losing a foal really made a big gash in his heart. But Fluttershy believed that this would be a good choice for them, to help heal the scar although it may never fade completely. This wasn't just for them but also for Scootaloo.
"Discord?" Fluttershy softly called to her husband, her voice raspy from resting so long, feeling stuffed and slightly dry.
The draconequus let out a hum, a deep sound that vibrated against her from his back.
"Mm-yes?" Discord asked, not turning his attention from his novel. He wasn't much a fan of reading, but there were rare cases like now that he would actually enjoy a book now and then.
"I need to talk to you about something important." Fluttershy began, her left foreleg making circular patterns in his fur. "It's about Scootaloo."
The book Discord had been reading closed and was now being placed down on the couches arm rest, his attention fully on his wife.
"Oh? What about her?" Discord asked back with curiosity, noticing the hesitance slightly etched onto his wife's face.
"Well I've been thinking Discord, ever since this morning and I can't seem to get it out." Fluttershy began, seeing how Discords eyes urged her on.
"Yesterday me and Scootaloo had an important chat. You know the orphanage she goes to?" She suddenly questioned, getting a nod from the draconequus.
"Apparently Scootaloo is being transferred to an orphanage in Trottingham."
"What? Why?" Discord suddenly blurted, feeling upset about the declaration.
"Can you please let me finish? I'm not trying to be rude at all, but I really need to finish what I need to say while I still have the courage." Fluttershy softly demanded, her cream hoof coming to touch his warm lips, silencing the slightly alarmed stallion.
The large bushy eye brows that Fluttershy came to find absolutely adorable pinched together in confusion of her action. But hesitantly he nodded, readjusting his position so he was more comfortable. Slowly her hoof slid off his lips, Discord missing the contact and wanting to reach and give the delicate hoof a small grazing kiss, but held himself back from doing so as to listen
"Discord, this is gonna be complicated to explain so I'm going to say this bluntly." Fluttershy started again. She was only like this when she was extremely determined and serious, a side she only tended to show more around him than any of the others.
"Scootaloo is very upset about this and doesn't want to leave us and her friends. So what I'm wanting to say is, I want to consider adopting Scootaloo." Fluttershy finished, teeth moving out to clench against her lip as she observed Discords face.
Fluttershy began to worry as Discords eyes widened slightly to which turned into a look of discomfort then sadness, making Fluttershys heart drop. The once fast beating organ was slowing down into a quiet rhythm.
"Um....Flutters I'm not so sure about that." Discord began, Fluttershy waiting for the already emerging disappointment.
"I'm not saying I don't want to!" He suddenly defended, as if the raging beast within the quiet and delicate flower would burst, transforming into a consuming weed.
"I mean to be honest that sounds like a great and very interesting idea." He continued, his two ears falling on his neck, the fur grazing along it. "But Fluttershy......are we really ready for that?" He let out in a whisper, Fluttershy frowning before putting a hoof on his shoulder.
"I'm not sure of that, but I do know that we need something to rid us of this sadness. If we continue living in the past we'll have no chance to heal." Fluttershy reasoned, Discord clearly seeing her point and knowing she was right.
"But it's just......I can't....." Discord whispered, unable to bring out the words as he conversed inside with his mind and heart. His head turned, a small tilt and his eyes caught sight of a room, one he had put there months ago.
There new foals room....
Discord and Fluttershy wondered why they hadn't gotten rid of it, for just a glance brought back the daily pain from when they lost the filly they had been waiting for. But they guessed it was because they still lived in the fantasy that it was all just a nightmare, a story to frighten them about having a foal. But it hit them hard every day, like the rain that poured from the winters sky, freezing and coming down like hail.
"I know I shouldn't..." Discord had suddenly muttered to which got Fluttershy's attention. He seemed to be rethinking, and hesitantly he continued.
"I know that I shouldn't blame myself. But I can't help but feel like I'm the reason we lost our child." Discord gulped, he was constantly blaming himself after the death of his child. He felt as if he wasn't strong enough, that he wasn't fit to be a father and care for a family. Not only that but...
"Discord, why would you think that?" Fluttershy asked softly in a worried tone.
Discord glanced up and sighed after starting at the teal eyes. "I am the Lord of Chaos Fluttershy. I represent chaos and I 'am' chaos. Everywhere I go, and no matter what I do chaos 'always' follows...bad luck, conflict, and tragedy always follows me."
With that he stopped, ears downcast. He should have known that without the balance of Harmony, the part of his flesh and blood that is no more, things would always turn out for the worst. That's why he had been alone for years. No friends, no family, not even a first love before Fluttershy. Cause anyone who got close always ended up hurt.
Like when he betrayed Fluttershy.....
Fluttershy remained silent afterwards, feeling the need to say something else but not knowing the words. So she didn't do anything, not a mumble or a whisper, nor even the smallest of sighs. Instead she reached up with a hoof on his shoulder and placed on his warm cheek, bristling the fur as she ran it along the contents of his face. It wasn't words he needed, what her husband really needed was action.
Her other hoof found its way to his other cheek, and as Discord lifted his head to look at her, he was hit with the softest impact of her lips against his. He was slightly shocked and slightly surprised by the action, not expecting it at this particular moment and time. But it was something he welcomed, ever since 'that' happened Fluttershy had been kinda distant when it came to touch, rarely accepting kisses he had initiated.
Their lips slowly moved, like a small dance of perfectly joined flesh, despite his rather large fang getting in the way. Discord moaned against her, his paw unconsciously moving to her back and running down the crease going along where the spine began and ended. Fluttershy returned the kind touch and ran her hooves through his hair, feeling calm herself from kissing him.
Fluttershy couldn't help but feel guilt over herself, her husband has always been there for her, holding her and giving her a shoulder to cry on and never complaining once. What had she done during that time they were recovering? Still recovering from? He has been doing it all the time, even before it happened, and how many times has she done it? Once but she never gave him words of comfort, neither did she hold him when he was weak, for she was always the weak one.
She had shut herself up, not wanting much contact and acting as if everything was normal, silently living in a dark never ending void. But the truth was it wasn't, and despite how many times she told herself she was over it, she couldn't deny the fact and keep living in this fantasy. That's why she guessed she seemed so eager about adopting Scootaloo, like she said earlier a distraction to keep them off the subject.
This pool of thought streaming through her mind made her deepen the kiss, putting more pressure against him and moaning into him. The couple finally pulled away when they found that she was on her back and Discord now hovering above her. Both panted softly, Fluttershy feeling quite flustered as his body rubbed against hers.
"Discord it's not your fault, these things just happen sometimes sweety. It's a part of life." Fluttershy spoke comfortingly, Discord going to protest but found she would only reprimand him for it.
"...I know we aren't ready. But when will we? What if we'll never be ready?" Fluttershy finally said, Discord listening closely but still feeling slightly fogged from their previous kiss.
"I think the best way to do this is adopt Scootaloo, we could be a family and once we are brave enough we will try again. It will help remove our sorrows." Fluttershy whispered, reaching up to kiss up from his neck to his jaw line, small slow kisses that made Discord sigh.
"We have to let go....."
Discord was silent for many moments, thinking deeply about it and with a shaky breath he replied in a whisper that filled Fluttershy up with relief.
"Alright...."
"Yes?" Fluttershy asked, hearing the words clearly but found herself asking anyways.
A deep chuckle reverberated in his chest before he pulled away and brushed back a lose hair on her face with his talon. Then there it was, that crazy, ridiculous, amazing grin of his that made her heart squeeze as she bit her lip.
"Yes, you are right my dear. I of all ponies should have known that." He laughed softly to which she giggled back.
They didn't know why they were laughing, or if something was funny but they began to laugh, a strong burst inside making them continuously giggle. It kept going on, both feeling breathless, but suddenly something caused them to halt.
Pft!
Discord starred at the mare below him with wonder as she blushed brightly, a hoof rising to her mouth and her eyes wide.
"Did you just...." Discord started to which Fluttershy began to stutter.
"I-I-I um......I don't know-"
Discord suddenly smelt a strange essence in the air and he felt an unbelieving look come over his face.
"Did you just fart?!" Discord quietly exclaimed, Fluttershy not making eye contact.
"Holly chocolate! You farted. 'You' farted!" He started, feeling bubbles of laughter come from his throat.
"Why is that funny?" Fluttershy asked, pulling her folded forelegs against her chest.
"And all this time I thought you never farted!" Discord guffawed, suddenly waving his paw in the air that turned into a fan.
"Oh! And they stink too." He stated, his face scrunching up in disgust.
"D-Discord!...." Fluttershy silently accused, finding herself giggling as well.
"Well better out then in I always say!" Discord beamed, summoning a can of air freshener and spraying it at her.
"You never say that." Fluttershy smiled with a raised eye brow.
"Well who cares my dear." He shrugged and laughed before flying off the couch and towards the stairs.
"The little minx just farted on me...."
As Discord went up the stairs, Fluttershy missed the deep frown that suddenly fell upon his lips.
Scootaloo could not express her joy at being adopted by the family of chaos. And both Fluttershy and Discord had been so happy as well when they saw that smile grow upon her face as the mare had announced her new parents. Everyone was surprised to learn about this but were indeed happy for the three of them, knowing that what they were doing was the right choice.
Scootaloo ended up taking the guest room where her and the CMC used to stay for sleep overs. Scootaloo had been so happy to finally have a place to actually call home, to have a mother and dad after being denied that gift for so many years. A whole year felt like an eternity of bliss with the chaos couple.
Discord would often take her on flights high in the sky just like Rainbow Dash used to do when she was here. Fluttershy also taught her so much on how to take care of herself and about animals. And Discord even participated in her little scooter stunts.
The love the three of them found brought light back into their darkness. They were happy again, truly happy. And that's when a miracle happened.
It had been three months before she had actually been aware of what now was growing inside her. But after taking a visit to see her doctor, it was confirmed that she was indeed pregnant with a foal again. It was shocking, and definitely scary. They were unsure of what was to happen about this foal, and were constantly checking to make sure nothing was going on inside Fluttershy's womb.
This pregnancy may have brought back nightmares of losing a little foal, but they thanked God that all went well. Although when the time finally came to give birth to the foal, Fluttershy found herself having great difficulty by the increase in size from being half Draconequi.
It was an twenty four hour birth, longest recorded and Fluttershy had collapsed after the birth and wasn't able to see her new baby colt for a full four days. During that time Discord stayed by her side and helped feed the baby as Fluttershy was unavailable.
"What shall we name him?" Fluttershy asked, the mother in tears as she was finally able to hold her new born.
He was definitely not a pony. He was brown with a snake like tail just like his father just without the spikes. His mane was black, as well as the tufts of fur on his tail, except a part of his mane was white, something Discord mentioned that he had when he was little. On the left side of his eye he had a spot the color of a soft cream, while the rest of his body was brown, despite the two lion front forelegs.
He was a large baby, but thankfully he had no horns, and for some reason he had no wings. Fluttershy had wanted to give Discord the honor of naming their first born, and as Discord started down at the sleeping bundle a smile came from his lips.
"Discord!" He suddenly burst into a grin and picked up the baby to cradle on his own arms.
"Wh-what? Discord?" Fluttershy asked, eye brow raised in disappointment. After a moment she was accusing him of almost waking the baby.
"Yes Discord, Discord Junior." Discord glanced from the corner of his eye to see his wife frown at him.
"Something wrong with that my dear?" He purred, tilting his head at her. Of all the names he had to pick his own? Well of course what he planned was having it so everyone who called him, two would come instead of just one. That was something he was sure to end up being irritating in the future.
"Well Im not complaining Discord but I think we should at least give him a nick name?" Fluttershy suggested as she suddenly yawned, apparently still not fully recovered from her fatigue.
"Okay, okay how about....Que?" Discord suggested to which Fluttershy hummed at, making Discord sigh and roll his eyes.
Fluttershy had been unsure of the last fifty names he suggested. Each one was insane and didn't fit their new goal at all. But he finally came up with the name Kibou, a name that held the meaning of hope. Fluttershy finally agreed as it definitely fit him as he brought hope that she and Discord could really make a family.
Upon the next couple week Fluttershy was released from the hospital. They went home and everyone gathered to celebrate the new born of the chaos family. Scootaloo was thrilled to have a baby brother, and promised to pamper him and be a great big sister.
(Few Years Later)
Kibou silently starred at the stone grave embedded into the soil, the cold wind rustling his soft fur and messy hair. Every beginning of dawn he came to this part of his home, hidden behind willow trees that kept it from sight. He was drawn to this stone as beneath the dirt lay the sister he never knew, the sister who never got a chance to experience life.
A sunflower always glowed around the vines that wrapped themselves softly around the rock, enchanted by his father Discord on the day of the funeral. Although she may be dead, Kibou felt as if she were there every time he came and laid himself down on the itchy, and ticklish grass that poked his stomach, and sides. Kibou found great happiness, and made a promise to always come here everyday, and visit his big sister.
From the very first time he did it....
As of every morning, his eyes would peek before anyone else, and he immediately jumped from the covers of his bed, not caring for the cold one bit as he raced to the window to peek behind the curtains. A smile made it's way to his lips as he saw that winter was finally over, now jumping from the window sill and out of his room to head for the outside backyard.
Frolicking through the tall grass, tripping on a small rump in the ground, and landing chest flat with his rump in the air, he made it to the willow trees that bloomed with small lilies. He pushed his head through the long branches of leaves and bounced into the circle where finally he gazed upon the tomb stone.
As he stood over it he frowned, standing for a silent moment while closing his eyes.
"Hello......" The word past his lips and he flopped his flank down.
"This is Kibou.....well Discord, but most call me Kibou! Mom and Scootaloo got tired of two Discord's popping up after a while." Kibou paused as nothing but silence hit his ears, and he felt confused to not hear her talk back.
"So, you are my first sister eh?" Scratching the back of his head he waited once more but got nothing. With a sigh he plopped down onto his stomach. When he first discovered the stone in the ground when playing outside with his mom, he didn't understand how this was his sister. They didn't give much detail so that's why he had been excited to go explore for himself. There were only a few out of the many things he actually did know.
"I wish you were here....I wish I could have known you. It's hard knowing that you had a sister, but can't ever meet her." Pursing his lips he tilted his head as a breeze went by.
"I wonder what you looked like." He murmured with curiosity before pouting.
"You don't talk much do you?"
Unknown to Kibou he was being watched by teal eyes.
"Well...do you have a name?" He guessed that was something good to ask, but once again he found that silence met him.
"I'll take that as a no. How about I give you one?" A tint of excitement lit his voice at giving his sister a title, for his parents never suggested that they named her before she was put here beneath the stone.
Sitting back up he smiled an lifted his paw to his face, pressing a digit into his chin as he hummed in thought.
"Hmmm...how about Cookie? neh too sweet bleh!" Kibou never seemed to enjoy sweets, something his father and mother didn't seem to understand.
His next name's he thought of as he looked at his surroundings.
"Grass? no that's just silly!...Sun flower? Sunny? neh!" Blowing out a raspberry he almost gave up, feeling annoyed that he couldn't think of anything at all.
"Wait....how about....Willow?....hmm not great but it's all right I guess. How about it?" Looking down he watched as the head of the glowing sun flower bob up and down in the wind.
"I'll take that as a yes!" He giggled, and laid back down with a peaceful sigh.
"Well it was nice to meet you finally Willow. I think I'll call you Willy for short, if you don't mind that is?"
Now he closed his eyes, whatever came to his head he told his little sister, talking about his first day of school, and how he wants to grow a beard like his father. It wasn't until the voice of Fluttershy calling him for breakfast that made him leave his sister's surreal presence.
Before he left he glanced behind his shoulder, blowing a strand of hair from his mouth and smiling at his sister.
"See you tomorrow, Willy." Winking he bounced back to the cottage of his home.

READ!!...oh that is...if you want...
So what do you guys think? Anything you liked or disliked? Do you want to see more?
Now a lot of you may be familiar with the name Kibou as atomicpuffin used it for her FlutterCord mending series. Now I wanted Kibou as that's the only think that seemed to fit and I asked permission from her to use it as well. I thought of naming him Que but it didn't fit very well.
But here is some art I did of Kibou so there is a better picture in your head - http://nightmarederpy.deviantart.com/art/NightmareDerpy-Next-Gen-Kibou-587190961 - http://nightmarederpy.deviantart.com/art/His-Lost-Sister-600708183
