Spike burps a large flame and out of the flame materializes a scroll "Ouch every fucking time I eat, a letter comes out and it hurts like hell sometimes I wonder if Celestia is doing this on purpose." Spike goes to Twilight's room and knocks on the door Twilight tells him he may enter. "What's up Spike?" Twilight asked as she is lying on her couch reading a book on funny joke spells. Spike hands her the scroll "It's just another letter from the princess." Twilight reads the letter carefully as she always does with the princess's letters "Dear princess Twilight Sparkle I have noticed though the magic of friendship is powerful it is not always available to you and your friends so I would feel a lot more comfortable if you would come to the castle to train in combat with my three most trusted and powerful guards sincerely princess Celestia." "Sounds like a good idea I bet if you had known how to fight you would have beaten Tirek and you remember when Discord almost tore you guys apart?" Spike says "Okay i don't see the problem I will go get everyone and get going to canterlot." Twilight says while trotting towards the door she teleports to everyone's house to tell them about the training and they all agreed to join they arrive at canterlot to greet princess Celestia. Canterlot gardens Three ponies are sitting on a bench at the gardens "This brings back memories huh?" The pony said he had a black mane with a blue coat he is a pegasus he is sitting causually like they have been there countless times. "Yeah but remember we are here to train the new princess and her friends." one said sitting formally on the bench straight up he has a silver mane with a white coat and glasses he is a unicorn. "Don't be so uptight besides I'm sure they are powerful if they were able to beat Tirek, Discord and Sombra so they should be fun to battle by the way do you know which court we will be training them in?" the last one said he had brown hair with a brown coat and he decided to stand, he was an earth pony. A court is a pocket dimension that Celestia and Luna can access, there are 100 courts the dimension's size and the amount of power it can store before it breaks when a court breaks it is no longer accessable the weaker courts to strongest range from 1 to 100. "Yeah court 97 we will see what each one is made of by testing them in there strong point and there weak points and adjust our training methods accordingly." The unicorn said. "Oh it looks like we are starting lets go!" The Pegasus says as they leave to go inside of the castle The mane 6 and spike arrive at the main archway leading to Celestia's throne there are many stained glass windows leading to the throne, at the throne Celestia and the three ponies are standing there Twilight began to sweat and so did Rarity they both tensed up "hey everybody be careful the unicorn's magic feels... So sinister I am guessing that they are the three guards but they aren't even wearing any armour" Twilight said to her friends only Rarity nodded everyone else was confused. Spike was especially concentrated on the Pegasus and he noticed he seemed like he was talking to someone but his mouth didn't open. Celestia was giving a stern look towards the unicorn implying disapproval the unicorn nodded "she sensed the malice in my magic and warned her friends" the unicorn smiled "they make a great team." "Welcome Everyone I assume you know why your here?" Celestia said warmly as always "Of course we're here to learn some Kung fu!" Rainbow shouted out Not quite" Celestia giggled "you are here to how to fight though and these will be your teachers" Celestia said while pointing to the three ponies beside her. "Hi I'm Falling Star" The Pegasus said, he rushed over to Rainbow dash "Wow I'm going to get to train the Rainbow dash nice to meet you!" Falling said as he shook hooves with Rainbow Dash but seemed most of his attention was on Spike and vice versa. "Nice to meet you too but how do you know my name?" Rainbow said with a confused expression on her face. "Who dosen't know the bearers of the elements of harmony and the fabled sonic rainboom you're very talented hehehe but now you're in my field of expertise so you will get to see what a Pegasus can do in combat plus I'm pretty fast myself but not as fast as the sonic rainboom" Falling Star said "My name is Stell my, hobbies are studying magical phenomenon and my profession is a royal guard" the unicorn said with a poker face. "Hmm he seems friendlier than before and the bad feeling I had before is gone maybe he is a nice guy." Twilight thought. "And finnally, best for last my name is Magnus Core out of my entire team I have the most hoof to hoof combat training." The earth pony said he was staring at Fluttershy. "Um sorry did you need something?" Fluttershy whispered while backing up. "Oh nothing sorry" Magnus said "I can tell just from the way she stands she is the most powerful in hoof to hoof combat she dosen't seem like she would hurt someone though" Magnus thought "Alright now that the introductions are out of the way when do we start?" Applejack asked princess Celestia. "Right now actually" Celestia spoke as she channeled magic into her horn she cut a hole in space where a purple dark spiralling hole emerged. "What's that?" Pinkie asked pointing to the hole in space. "A court I will explain later please just jump through the portal" Stell said everypony began to jump through. Spike was about to jump through but Celestia had stopped him "Spike you will train with me" Celestia said Spike looked confused "why?" He said Celestia replied "because those three can only train ponies I however have extensive knowledge about dragons so I will train you" Celestia opened another court and spike followed her in. Twilight and her friends opened their eyes to a large desert with large mountains and cacti "where are we?" Twilight asked "We are in court 97 a large desert we are here to test your abilities to determine how to train each and every one of you" Stell explained "Got it" Applejack said Magnus moved forward "so who out of all of you is the strongest?" Magnus asked, everypony in the group said Applejack and she moved to a separate area away from the group "alright and Fluttershy can you come with me and Applejack?" Magnus asked Fluttershy replied "s-sure" Magnus then urged everyone to move back "okay the way we will determine your skills is in 6 basic ways speed, agility, strength, combat skills, and intelligence but we will also have a sparring match with each of us okay who is the fastest here?" Magnus asked Rainbow Dash grinned and stepped forward "do you even have to ask, i am" Rainbow said Falling Star also stepped forward "alright then your with me, and Pinkie Pie will also come with us" Falling Star said motioning for Pinkie to join them. "Woo hoo I'm with Dashie!" She said excitedly bouncing towards Falling Star and Rainbow Dash "Okay that means Rarity and Twilight will come with me" Stell said while walking towards Rarity and Twilight "okay let's begin I will now teleport everyone to different areas of the court so to not damage the entrance and interfere with each other's training" Stell explained, in a great flash of white mystical light everyone disappeared. Author's Note How was it my first real story I had some others but didn't really go with them but this story will get great in the next chapter (hint lots of epic fighting) see ya till then Day 1: Full power!"So uh what do we do first?" Twilight asked. "To figure out how to train you I will need to know how powerful you magic is and what is your magical capacity so shoot me with your most powerful magical blast." Stell commanded Twilight wasn't sure about this "what if I hurt you badly?" Twilight asked. "Don't worry I can handle it it's not the first time I blocked alicorn magic and it won't be my last." Stell said while looking confident he positioned himself defensively. Twilight began to float but not with her wings, her magic was being charged into her horn Twilight focused greatly that in her mind all she saw was Stell she then fired a bright neon violet beam at Stell but he didn't even flinch, he grabbed the beam with his hooves and smothered it into nothing Twilight and Rarity was both in shock. "Twilight try firing again but this time absolutely do not hold back!" Stell yelled he positioned himself in the same way again but this time he charged magic into his hooves Twilight charged her beam again but the size of her magic was three times as big as before. Twilights eyes glowed pure white "I cannot hold back!" Twilight thought, lightning was forming around her, Rarity stepped back, Twilight fired the beam and again Stell did not flinch but he pushed against the blast this time and struggled a bit it took longer but he smothered it into nothing like before. "Good okay I know exactly what to teach you but first Rarity can you also blast me with all you've got?" Stell asked Rarity seemed a bit uneasy "Okay but are your hooves going to be alright dear?" She pointed to his hooves which were covered in dust and blackend like soot. Stell replied "it's alright my magic covered most of the blast my hooves don't hurt but they are a bit dirty it's alright just blast me." Stell assured them he was alright but Twilight looked like she felt guilty. "Alright here I come!" Rarity charged her blast but it wasn't nearly as powerful as Twilight's Stell blocked it with one hoof and walked up to Twilight and Rarity seeming content. "Okay Rarity your magic is not as nearly as powerful, but it is very precise when you were shooting me you were aiming for one of my weak spots but your magic is not that powerful in offence but surprisingly it's very powerful in healing magic." Stell said proudly. "But how would you know that from a blast?" Rarity asked confused but intrigued. "When your blast had hit my hooves it didn't feel lethal or hot like Twilight's blast when a blast has no temperature it means either the pony's magic is... Special or it is healing magic, I would like you to study this book in healing magic and I'm sure you know the anatomy of the three races of ponies right?" Stell asked as he had handed Rarity a book from his bag that was sitting on the sidelines that was filled with other books. "Okay thanks" Rarity said "this will help greatly when ever i stub my fucking toe on the sewing machine hurts like hell." Rarity thought staring at the book. "Twilght your magic is obviously offensive and defensive so i wou-" Stell stopped he waited a few seconds "holy shit magnus got destroyed ha amazing well i better heal him" Stell thought as his horn lit up, he cast a spell but nothing happened around them. "Are you alright dear?" Rarity asked confused on why he stopped and why he cast a spell "what spell did you cast?" Rarity asked "Yes i'm alright i... Just cast a healing spell on my hooves thats all!" Stell said defensivly while showing his hooves that was now clean and did not even have a scratch on them but he also was not lying he did cast a healing spell but not on him "Sorry as i was saying Twilight i would like you to be the main defense on your team and if your team's offense is lacking or injured and cannot keep attacking you will step in and finish the job but also remember if things are getting to much for you to handle escape and if you cannot do that then just try to improvise you can't really prepare for every senario" Stell explained. Twilight seemed discontent with that answer and changed the subject "okay... what was with you pausing before then giggling to yourself is something funny?" Twilight asked. "Oh that, well my friend magnus just got fucking creamed by your friend flutter-" Stell stopped his face whiter than it should be, his expression was that of fear he stood there shocked, keeping Twilight and Rarity waiting. "Uh dear are you all right?" Rarity asked moving toward Stell slowly "you look like you've seen a ghost" she said concerned, Stell said no reply he only stood there, paralyzed for minutes it was as if he was no longer there with a flash of blue light he disappeared. Twilight and Rarity was confused they had no idea where Stell had teleported but soon enough he came back with a rather relieved expression "what happened? Where did you go? And what was that about Fluttershy?" Twilight asked rapidly. "Woah woah one question at a time jeez, okay I just went to check up on your friend Fluttershy and before you ask, she was alright she just got a bit carried away and hurt one of my friends but he is alright too." Stell answered trying to match Twilight's speed of asking those questions and succeeded. "Oh that's terrible can we see her? It doesn't sound like something Fluttershy would do" Rarity said Stell seemed hesitant but he nodded "okay" and in another blue flash of light they all disappeared. Twilight, Rarity and Stell all arrived at another point of the vast desert and saw a perfectly fine Fluttershy... at least physically she also had the same type of expression that Stell had but it was worse, she was shaking and ooked like she was about to fall, just barely keeping heself up, Rainbow dash was there supporting her. "Oh my Celestia, Fluttershy you look horrible are you alright? Rarity asked, rushing towards Fluttershy and Rainbow Dash. Fluttershy noticing her friends there for her began to make her feel better "yes I'm alright thank you" she whispered as she stood up steadily on her own. "What happened you looked terrified?" Twilight asked. "I'd rather not say" Fluttershy said in a calm voice "but don't worry I wasn't hurt at all." She said. Stell trotted up to Fluttershy "Don't worry Fluttershy we'll make sure Magnus gets... help I think it's about time we leave we can come back tomorrow." Stell said as he opened a portal one by one everypony began to jump into the portal. "Ah princess Twilight you're back how was the training? Celestia asked already at the portal with Spike. "Oh princess Celestia hello the training was okay we didn't do to much today but we'll be sure to come back tomorrow. " Twilight said smiling. Princess Luna was flying in through the halls as fast as she could "Hold on!" She landed beside Celestia "I wanted to be here to see you off as well" she said. "Uh is that a popcorn on you're wing? Twilight asked pointing to a popcorn on Luna's wing Luna wiped It off fast as she blushed embarrassed. "Well see you later princess" Rainbow Dash and all the rest said as they left for the train station. "My wings are so sore I can barely move them without them hurting like hell!" Rainbow exclaimed as she moved slowly. "Uh huh my hooves are so sore ah can't wait till ah get to bed" Applejack said as she sat on a seat of the train they all nodded in agreement. Day 1: Speed is not everythingLuna was in the her room sleeping when she remembered that Twilight and her friends will be coming over to train with the royal guards she quickly got out of bed and into her bathroom where she went through her morning routine like every pony else she brushed her teeth and ate breakfast she walked into the main throne room where she met up with Spike and Princess Celestia "Hello Spike" she greeted. "Hey princess Luna sorry but you just missed Twilight and the others they went into this cool portal and now I don't know where they are." Spike said. "oh I know where they are but tis a shame I could not greet them personally" Luna said with a minor disappointment in her tone, princess Celestia moved closer to her ear. "I will be taking Spike to court 100 he will need to learn as well and about his special ability" Celestia whispered as she moved away from her, Luna nodded in understanding. "what did you say princess?" Spike asked but he already knew that she would not answer. "Don't worry you'll find out soon enough" Celestia said to Spike giggling, Spike looked at Celestia suspiciously but soon brushed it off. Luna and Celestia both gathered to summon another portal it looked exactly like the other portals once the portal was stable Luna decided to leave and Celestia also left into the portal with Spike. Luna was in the castle library as she walked past several bookcases of amazing and useful spells like the knockout spell or the summon spells she came across a scroll case she pushed a scroll deeper into its case and a secret door appeared "I always did miss the secret passage ways in the old castle, and it's way too cliché and boring to pull a book from a bookcase, it's all about that new pushing scrolls method." Luna thought to herself in nostalgia as she entered the entrance to the secret passage way smiling, shortly after it closed behind her. Meanwhile back in court 97. "Let's fight!" Rainbow Dash was asking Falling Star over and over again and every time he declined "But why?" Rainbow asked. "Because you're going to lose, now let's focus I need you to go high in the air and move around this obstacle course." Falling said pointing to a series of obstacles made out of clouds. "But I want to fight!" Rainbow complained "Plus that course is impossible to do at a fast time, there aren't enough space between clouds to move without losing speed and momentum." Rainbow explained and she was right it was a tight squeeze. Falling raised an eyebrow and grinned "Really? well I'll bet you 5 bits I can do it in 18 seconds or less." he said boastfully. "Bullshit! I'll bet you 10!" Rainbow shouted she prepared a timer and Falling got into a start-up position "3... 2... 1... GO!" Rainbow started the countdown and Falling was already gone "I can't wait to see him crash!" Rainbow thought but as Falling got to the first obstacle he passed through it easy, Rainbow wasn't surprised "The first one's easy but here's where he burns" Falling only smiled at the second ring he shifted his wings and body and let the wind carry him through the rings. Rainbow's jaw dropped and Falling returned to pick it back up, he checked his time which read: 16.00 he then raised a hoof towards Rainbow Dash "Where's my 10 bits" he grinned, Rainbow grumbled and gave him 10 bits. "How the heck did you do that?!" Rainbow asked expectantly. "You saw it didn't you?" Falling said pointing to his wings "I have complete maneuverability over my wings and when the wind is favorable, I can move almost anywhere, instantly." Rainbow's jaw dropped for the second time "If your skills are good enough, you can do it in a week." Falling said. Rainbow mumbled to herself "Shift my wings huh?" She shifted her wings and she crashed into an obstacle course right next to her, Falling's jaw dropped. "Never mind, if you work hard you'll be able to do it today." Falling said. "No way that hurt way too much just to shift my wings." Rainbow complained. "Her wings are so flexible, if she masters this she might be able to fly perfectly while at the speed of the Sonic Rainboom. Falling thought to himself, Falling wanted Rainbow to learn how to do this but she refused so he added... motivation " okay um... Oh! if you finish this obstacle course within 20 seconds I'll fight you!" that did it, Rainbow instantly got up and began to stretch. "Okay obstacle course you're going down!" Rainbow flew to the first cloud but got caught by Falling before she got through. "Baby steps Rainbow, baby steps" Falling told rainbow to instead of shifting her wings instantly slowly do it and get a feel for how to fly this way "okay now keep doing that for a while, it's up to you to gradually get faster at it." Falling said as he floated down to Pinkie Pie. "Wow you sure know how to fly Falling, I never thought that Dashie would have to learn how to fly again" Pinkie said with her usual excitement. "Yeah well, she's already an amazing flyer but now let's focus on what you'll be doing." Falling said blushing at the compliment. "yeah about that why am I with you? I mean shouldn't I be with Magnus since he is also an earth pony" Pinkie asked. Falling cleared his throat "Good question, but unlike most earth ponies you have an amazing amount of stamina and agility, just like a Pegasus's, no scratch that even better since wings won't keep you down, so I will train you to take advantage of that." as Falling explained he led Pinkie to a wide flat part of the desert "Okay this place is great, what I want you to do is simple" Falling pointed to a cactus that was very far away "run from here, to there by that cactus as fast as you can." the distance was 2 km away, Pinkie only nodded, still smiling. Falling got ready, he flew fast to the other end "Okay! 1! 2! 3! Go!". Pinkie Pie's smile stretched from one side of her face to the other, she got in a start-up position and repeatedly grinded her hoof against the ground like a bull and like a bull she puffed air out he noise, in one instant when Falling hit 1 she blasted towards the cactus with rings of sliced air behind her every step, Falling didn't even flinch at her speed but over a few short seconds he started sweating but Pinkie started to yell in joy "Waaaa hooooooooooo!!!!". Falling started to get his wings ready to fly away "Uh... she's not stopping... OH SHIIIIIITTTTTT!!!!!!!!" he managed to dodge Pinkie's swift kick and flew back "Hey, what was that for?" he asked keeping his wings ready to fly away in an instant, with his hooves up in a battle stance. Pinkie only ginned ominously but when she raised her head she had a big smile "Dashie isn't the only one who wants to fight you!" Pinkie said and right then; Falling had a face of surprise "If I beat you then I can take on any bad guy that tries to hurt my friends!" Pinkie Pie right then issued a challenge to Falling Star! Falling started to laugh which started to make Pinkie feel belittled but he spoke his true feelings "If you want to beat me then you're going to have to prove that even if I beat you within an inch of your life, you will keep on fighting and never give up but most of all..." his voice became darker and very intimidating and a big shadow loomed over Pinkie as the sun began to set "DO NOT UNDERESTIMATE THE ROYAL GUARDS" before Pinkie even realized it Falling was already behind her and she was shaking like crazy "But for now we're buddies, come on Rainbow looks like she's done her training let's go." and he left as Pinkie slowly followed him towards Rainbow dash. Pinkie was shaking and thought "oh boy! I can't wait to fight him I'm going to mess, him, up!" she was excited to do battle with somebody that could challenge her on a level beyond her, before Pinkie left to Canterlot she visited Zecora to ask if she knew about "Celestia's three Royal Guards", she entered her hut and was welcomed with a greeting that rhymed as usual "Hey wassup Zecora!" Pinkie greeted "Hey do you know anything of Celestia's three Royal Guards?" and Zecora slightly flinched enough for Pinkie to notice. "Yes, why do you ask?" and Pinkie was in complete shock when Zecora asked what was wrong, Pinkie only shook her head and said nothing. "That was the first time Zecora didn't rhyme!" She thought, "Are these Royal Guards that special?" throughout that evening Zecora told legends of these brave heroes that were found by Celestia and in their wake no evil can reach the hearts of the ponies in Equestria, Pinkie was amazed at these ponies and she now had one more thing to aspire to be... a hero. "Ok! let's see what you can do!" Falling shouted at Rainbow, it reminded her of her wonder-bolts academy instructor as she got ready to finish the course previously done by him. "Ready!" Rainbow wasn't in a normal start stance used to give extra acceleration at the start of her flight, it made Falling smirk. "Ok, she's got the starting stance down, you don't want speed to start with you want control." Falling thought as he got ready to press the button on the stop watch "3!... 2!... 1!... GO!" Falling pressed the button and rainbow raced of to the first ring, she swayed her body to the left to avoid the first obstacle and then she shifted the position of her wings, it caught enough wind and moved her safely to the side, she repeated this process until she came up to the final ring and she passed it flawlessly just like Falling. Rainbow Dash returned to Falling to check her time and Falling showed her the stop watch it read: 19.26 SEC she had made it through the condition and won the right to fight Falling Star a royal guard of incredible power. "Wow I haven't even broken a sweat, this is amazing!" Rainbow yelled to herself in victory. "Yeah well why would you? The wind is doing all the work." Falling said. Rainbow could hardly contain herself "Okay1 NOW LET'S FIGHT!" she shouted to Falling and he only sighed then said "A deal's a deal" they both got into fighting stances which surprised Falling "she's no stranger to fighting, with the new technique I showed her, she could actually beat me down a notch!" Falling thought but no pony moved, only silence as the dust brushed by and Rainbow cut the air and dust and was already an inch away from Falling but he managed to back off "So she made the first move, time to pay her back!" he seemed to float for a moment before slowly hovering to the side but each time he did a little afterimage stayed behind him until he surrounded Rainbow with his afterimages "This... this is unreal!" every where she looked there was Falling there watching her, she struck one of them but her hoof went inside of the afterimage and the afterimage just faded away. Meanwhile in Luna's secret lair Luna was sitting at a chair and in front of her was a monitor that showed Twilight talking with Stell and she had hoof up to her head "Boo-ring let's see how Rainbow and Falling is doing." she pressed a button and it changed what was on the monitor and Luna saw Rainbow Dash surrounded by lots of Fallings and she instantly knew what was happening, she left her chair and returned later with a bunch of popcorn and soda bottles "Hell yes! Rainbow is going to fight Falling, this should be great!" Luna mumbled as she filled her mouth with popcorn. Back in the Desert Rainbow was punched straight in the jaw and the blow was enough to send her flying "Ughghghg! this isn't good with him surrounding me like this, I'm a sitting duck like this, I need to blow him back and fight him... with that!" Rainbow just exploded and punched and swung her hooves everywhere, Falling didn't expect this from her and was blown back "Damn... I guess she's a bit rougher than I thought." Rainbow quickly took advantage of this and flew as high as fast as she could "Wait! is she going to use the Rainboom on me!... not good I have to stop her before she reaches a good enough height to start or else I'm going to get it!" Falling knew her plan and quickly rushed after her "Well I guess he caught on faster than I expected but!" Rainbow was reaching her destination faster than Falling could catch up. "Shit! she has a good point I need to fall back and avoid her rainboom" Rainbow stopped in mid-air and began free fall then... when she got more speed she reached her hooves in front of her, she was cutting the air around her and she was going even faster... then soon after she was only a blur and a Rainbow trail was fading in and out then... Boom! there was a large explosion of colors and Falling covered his eyes to not get dust in them "Oh no... where is she? I only took my eyes of her for a second!" Falling rapidly looked around and could not see Rainbow Dash but still heard a loud sound that was as if there was a plane taking off in your eardrums, "Wait a minute..." as soon as Falling looked around him he noticed that the clouds were surrounding him like a tornado and he was in the center!, he sent away his afterimages away as they would be useless to him. "I've seen this before, She's trapped me and she's going to strike from... above!" Falling looked above and saw Rainbow Dash approaching him as a rainbow blur and there was no place for him to go anymore! Rainbow dash hit the ground and the explosion was big enough to blast away the clouds into oblivion, all Falling could see was a white void and the ground being incinerated into nothing and the same thing was happening to him, he turned his head and saw Rainbow floating high above him with a look that said "You lost!" Falling was infuriated and jumped after her Rainbow was shocked "He still going after me?!" Rainbow thought "Do not underestimate me! I will not be taken down with one hit!" He was pissed and flew as fast as he could to Rainbow Dash "Ahhhhhhhhh!" they both screamed, neither backed down and both hit full force with their hooves but only one was still standing... Falling Star was high above Rainbow dash, she was lying on the floor staring at the stars, the rainboom that she hit the ground with moved the sky apart and revealed the space and star even though it was still daytime, it was only one patch of the sky that you could see the stars with and above Falling Star was above her, he was panting with cuts and bruises all over his body but even then his face showed no weakness it was as if he wasn't hurt at all and that face said "No! I Win!" Rainbow tried to get up but still couldn't even move her wings, she stared up high at him "Heh you win this one but I'll win next time! I guess this time... you're the star." and Falling nodded, he understood but while he was up there he really felt like a star like all around him. Pinkie saw this and only grinned "I guess it won't be that easy, Dashie." Later that day they left and Rainbow Dash healed enough to follow, they arrived to a frightened Fluttershy which was a common sight but something was different then they left through the Portal and was greeted by Celestia, Spike, and Luna with a bit of popcorn and then they left with the train but secretly without the others knowing as they were asleep on the train, Rainbow Dash came up to Twilight "Hey Twilight?" Twilight turned her head "Yes?" Twilight responded and noticed Rainbow Dash was a bit upset "Lets become strong okay?" Rainbow uttered, remembering her loss that day, Twilight smiled "Yeah we will" she said but then Rainbow Dash got closer to Twilight "then promise me, Cross My Heart and Hope to Fly, Stick a Cupcake in my Eye!" Twilight then noticed how much more serious Rainbow was and remembered her own shortcoming that day and did the Pinkie Promise "We will definitely become stronger, that's a Promise!" Twilight was serious then as well, Rainbow then relaxed "Good." she muttered then fell asleep.
Show me what you can do!Spike is sitting in his room in the friendship castle watching tv and eating a bowl of gems "Finnally, with the bigger castle means there is a bigger library and a bigger library means there is more books for twilight to read and the more she reads the more she makes a mess and the bigger the mess the longer it takes me to clean it up I just wanna relax and enjoy my ge-." Spike burps a large flame and out of the flame materializes a scroll "Ouch every fucking time I eat, a letter comes out and it hurts like hell sometimes I wonder if Celestia is doing this on purpose." Spike goes to Twilight's room and knocks on the door Twilight tells him he may enter. "What's up Spike?" Twilight asked as she is lying on her couch reading a book on funny joke spells. Spike hands her the scroll "It's just another letter from the princess." Twilight reads the letter carefully as she always does with the princess's letters "Dear princess Twilight Sparkle I have noticed though the magic of friendship is powerful it is not always available to you and your friends so I would feel a lot more comfortable if you would come to the castle to train in combat with my three most trusted and powerful guards sincerely princess Celestia." "Sounds like a good idea I bet if you had known how to fight you would have beaten Tirek and you remember when Discord almost tore you guys apart?" Spike says "Okay i don't see the problem I will go get everyone and get going to canterlot." Twilight says while trotting towards the door she teleports to everyone's house to tell them about the training and they all agreed to join they arrive at canterlot to greet princess Celestia. Canterlot gardens Three ponies are sitting on a bench at the gardens "This brings back memories huh?" The pony said he had a black mane with a blue coat he is a pegasus he is sitting causually like they have been there countless times. "Yeah but remember we are here to train the new princess and her friends." one said sitting formally on the bench straight up he has a silver mane with a white coat and glasses he is a unicorn. "Don't be so uptight besides I'm sure they are powerful if they were able to beat Tirek, Discord and Sombra so they should be fun to battle by the way do you know which court we will be training them in?" the last one said he had brown hair with a brown coat and he decided to stand, he was an earth pony. A court is a pocket dimension that Celestia and Luna can access, there are 100 courts the dimension's size and the amount of power it can store before it breaks when a court breaks it is no longer accessable the weaker courts to strongest range from 1 to 100. "Yeah court 97 we will see what each one is made of by testing them in there strong point and there weak points and adjust our training methods accordingly." The unicorn said. "Oh it looks like we are starting lets go!" The Pegasus says as they leave to go inside of the castle The mane 6 and spike arrive at the main archway leading to Celestia's throne there are many stained glass windows leading to the throne, at the throne Celestia and the three ponies are standing there Twilight began to sweat and so did Rarity they both tensed up "hey everybody be careful the unicorn's magic feels... So sinister I am guessing that they are the three guards but they aren't even wearing any armour" Twilight said to her friends only Rarity nodded everyone else was confused. Spike was especially concentrated on the Pegasus and he noticed he seemed like he was talking to someone but his mouth didn't open. Celestia was giving a stern look towards the unicorn implying disapproval the unicorn nodded "she sensed the malice in my magic and warned her friends" the unicorn smiled "they make a great team." "Welcome Everyone I assume you know why your here?" Celestia said warmly as always "Of course we're here to learn some Kung fu!" Rainbow shouted out Not quite" Celestia giggled "you are here to how to fight though and these will be your teachers" Celestia said while pointing to the three ponies beside her. "Hi I'm Falling Star" The Pegasus said, he rushed over to Rainbow dash "Wow I'm going to get to train the Rainbow dash nice to meet you!" Falling said as he shook hooves with Rainbow Dash but seemed most of his attention was on Spike and vice versa. "Nice to meet you too but how do you know my name?" Rainbow said with a confused expression on her face. "Who dosen't know the bearers of the elements of harmony and the fabled sonic rainboom you're very talented hehehe but now you're in my field of expertise so you will get to see what a Pegasus can do in combat plus I'm pretty fast myself but not as fast as the sonic rainboom" Falling Star said "My name is Stell my, hobbies are studying magical phenomenon and my profession is a royal guard" the unicorn said with a poker face. "Hmm he seems friendlier than before and the bad feeling I had before is gone maybe he is a nice guy." Twilight thought. "And finnally, best for last my name is Magnus Core out of my entire team I have the most hoof to hoof combat training." The earth pony said he was staring at Fluttershy. "Um sorry did you need something?" Fluttershy whispered while backing up. "Oh nothing sorry" Magnus said "I can tell just from the way she stands she is the most powerful in hoof to hoof combat she dosen't seem like she would hurt someone though" Magnus thought "Alright now that the introductions are out of the way when do we start?" Applejack asked princess Celestia. "Right now actually" Celestia spoke as she channeled magic into her horn she cut a hole in space where a purple dark spiralling hole emerged. "What's that?" Pinkie asked pointing to the hole in space. "A court I will explain later please just jump through the portal" Stell said everypony began to jump through. Spike was about to jump through but Celestia had stopped him "Spike you will train with me" Celestia said Spike looked confused "why?" He said Celestia replied "because those three can only train ponies I however have extensive knowledge about dragons so I will train you" Celestia opened another court and spike followed her in. Twilight and her friends opened their eyes to a large desert with large mountains and cacti "where are we?" Twilight asked "We are in court 97 a large desert we are here to test your abilities to determine how to train each and every one of you" Stell explained "Got it" Applejack said Magnus moved forward "so who out of all of you is the strongest?" Magnus asked, everypony in the group said Applejack and she moved to a separate area away from the group "alright and Fluttershy can you come with me and Applejack?" Magnus asked Fluttershy replied "s-sure" Magnus then urged everyone to move back "okay the way we will determine your skills is in 6 basic ways speed, agility, strength, combat skills, and intelligence but we will also have a sparring match with each of us okay who is the fastest here?" Magnus asked Rainbow Dash grinned and stepped forward "do you even have to ask, i am" Rainbow said Falling Star also stepped forward "alright then your with me, and Pinkie Pie will also come with us" Falling Star said motioning for Pinkie to join them. "Woo hoo I'm with Dashie!" She said excitedly bouncing towards Falling Star and Rainbow Dash "Okay that means Rarity and Twilight will come with me" Stell said while walking towards Rarity and Twilight "okay let's begin I will now teleport everyone to different areas of the court so to not damage the entrance and interfere with each other's training" Stell explained, in a great flash of white mystical light everyone disappeared. Author's Note How was it my first real story I had some others but didn't really go with them but this story will get great in the next chapter (hint lots of epic fighting) see ya till then
Day 1: Full power!"So uh what do we do first?" Twilight asked. "To figure out how to train you I will need to know how powerful you magic is and what is your magical capacity so shoot me with your most powerful magical blast." Stell commanded Twilight wasn't sure about this "what if I hurt you badly?" Twilight asked. "Don't worry I can handle it it's not the first time I blocked alicorn magic and it won't be my last." Stell said while looking confident he positioned himself defensively. Twilight began to float but not with her wings, her magic was being charged into her horn Twilight focused greatly that in her mind all she saw was Stell she then fired a bright neon violet beam at Stell but he didn't even flinch, he grabbed the beam with his hooves and smothered it into nothing Twilight and Rarity was both in shock. "Twilight try firing again but this time absolutely do not hold back!" Stell yelled he positioned himself in the same way again but this time he charged magic into his hooves Twilight charged her beam again but the size of her magic was three times as big as before. Twilights eyes glowed pure white "I cannot hold back!" Twilight thought, lightning was forming around her, Rarity stepped back, Twilight fired the beam and again Stell did not flinch but he pushed against the blast this time and struggled a bit it took longer but he smothered it into nothing like before. "Good okay I know exactly what to teach you but first Rarity can you also blast me with all you've got?" Stell asked Rarity seemed a bit uneasy "Okay but are your hooves going to be alright dear?" She pointed to his hooves which were covered in dust and blackend like soot. Stell replied "it's alright my magic covered most of the blast my hooves don't hurt but they are a bit dirty it's alright just blast me." Stell assured them he was alright but Twilight looked like she felt guilty. "Alright here I come!" Rarity charged her blast but it wasn't nearly as powerful as Twilight's Stell blocked it with one hoof and walked up to Twilight and Rarity seeming content. "Okay Rarity your magic is not as nearly as powerful, but it is very precise when you were shooting me you were aiming for one of my weak spots but your magic is not that powerful in offence but surprisingly it's very powerful in healing magic." Stell said proudly. "But how would you know that from a blast?" Rarity asked confused but intrigued. "When your blast had hit my hooves it didn't feel lethal or hot like Twilight's blast when a blast has no temperature it means either the pony's magic is... Special or it is healing magic, I would like you to study this book in healing magic and I'm sure you know the anatomy of the three races of ponies right?" Stell asked as he had handed Rarity a book from his bag that was sitting on the sidelines that was filled with other books. "Okay thanks" Rarity said "this will help greatly when ever i stub my fucking toe on the sewing machine hurts like hell." Rarity thought staring at the book. "Twilght your magic is obviously offensive and defensive so i wou-" Stell stopped he waited a few seconds "holy shit magnus got destroyed ha amazing well i better heal him" Stell thought as his horn lit up, he cast a spell but nothing happened around them. "Are you alright dear?" Rarity asked confused on why he stopped and why he cast a spell "what spell did you cast?" Rarity asked "Yes i'm alright i... Just cast a healing spell on my hooves thats all!" Stell said defensivly while showing his hooves that was now clean and did not even have a scratch on them but he also was not lying he did cast a healing spell but not on him "Sorry as i was saying Twilight i would like you to be the main defense on your team and if your team's offense is lacking or injured and cannot keep attacking you will step in and finish the job but also remember if things are getting to much for you to handle escape and if you cannot do that then just try to improvise you can't really prepare for every senario" Stell explained. Twilight seemed discontent with that answer and changed the subject "okay... what was with you pausing before then giggling to yourself is something funny?" Twilight asked. "Oh that, well my friend magnus just got fucking creamed by your friend flutter-" Stell stopped his face whiter than it should be, his expression was that of fear he stood there shocked, keeping Twilight and Rarity waiting. "Uh dear are you all right?" Rarity asked moving toward Stell slowly "you look like you've seen a ghost" she said concerned, Stell said no reply he only stood there, paralyzed for minutes it was as if he was no longer there with a flash of blue light he disappeared. Twilight and Rarity was confused they had no idea where Stell had teleported but soon enough he came back with a rather relieved expression "what happened? Where did you go? And what was that about Fluttershy?" Twilight asked rapidly. "Woah woah one question at a time jeez, okay I just went to check up on your friend Fluttershy and before you ask, she was alright she just got a bit carried away and hurt one of my friends but he is alright too." Stell answered trying to match Twilight's speed of asking those questions and succeeded. "Oh that's terrible can we see her? It doesn't sound like something Fluttershy would do" Rarity said Stell seemed hesitant but he nodded "okay" and in another blue flash of light they all disappeared. Twilight, Rarity and Stell all arrived at another point of the vast desert and saw a perfectly fine Fluttershy... at least physically she also had the same type of expression that Stell had but it was worse, she was shaking and ooked like she was about to fall, just barely keeping heself up, Rainbow dash was there supporting her. "Oh my Celestia, Fluttershy you look horrible are you alright? Rarity asked, rushing towards Fluttershy and Rainbow Dash. Fluttershy noticing her friends there for her began to make her feel better "yes I'm alright thank you" she whispered as she stood up steadily on her own. "What happened you looked terrified?" Twilight asked. "I'd rather not say" Fluttershy said in a calm voice "but don't worry I wasn't hurt at all." She said. Stell trotted up to Fluttershy "Don't worry Fluttershy we'll make sure Magnus gets... help I think it's about time we leave we can come back tomorrow." Stell said as he opened a portal one by one everypony began to jump into the portal. "Ah princess Twilight you're back how was the training? Celestia asked already at the portal with Spike. "Oh princess Celestia hello the training was okay we didn't do to much today but we'll be sure to come back tomorrow. " Twilight said smiling. Princess Luna was flying in through the halls as fast as she could "Hold on!" She landed beside Celestia "I wanted to be here to see you off as well" she said. "Uh is that a popcorn on you're wing? Twilight asked pointing to a popcorn on Luna's wing Luna wiped It off fast as she blushed embarrassed. "Well see you later princess" Rainbow Dash and all the rest said as they left for the train station. "My wings are so sore I can barely move them without them hurting like hell!" Rainbow exclaimed as she moved slowly. "Uh huh my hooves are so sore ah can't wait till ah get to bed" Applejack said as she sat on a seat of the train they all nodded in agreement.
Day 1: Speed is not everythingLuna was in the her room sleeping when she remembered that Twilight and her friends will be coming over to train with the royal guards she quickly got out of bed and into her bathroom where she went through her morning routine like every pony else she brushed her teeth and ate breakfast she walked into the main throne room where she met up with Spike and Princess Celestia "Hello Spike" she greeted. "Hey princess Luna sorry but you just missed Twilight and the others they went into this cool portal and now I don't know where they are." Spike said. "oh I know where they are but tis a shame I could not greet them personally" Luna said with a minor disappointment in her tone, princess Celestia moved closer to her ear. "I will be taking Spike to court 100 he will need to learn as well and about his special ability" Celestia whispered as she moved away from her, Luna nodded in understanding. "what did you say princess?" Spike asked but he already knew that she would not answer. "Don't worry you'll find out soon enough" Celestia said to Spike giggling, Spike looked at Celestia suspiciously but soon brushed it off. Luna and Celestia both gathered to summon another portal it looked exactly like the other portals once the portal was stable Luna decided to leave and Celestia also left into the portal with Spike. Luna was in the castle library as she walked past several bookcases of amazing and useful spells like the knockout spell or the summon spells she came across a scroll case she pushed a scroll deeper into its case and a secret door appeared "I always did miss the secret passage ways in the old castle, and it's way too cliché and boring to pull a book from a bookcase, it's all about that new pushing scrolls method." Luna thought to herself in nostalgia as she entered the entrance to the secret passage way smiling, shortly after it closed behind her. Meanwhile back in court 97. "Let's fight!" Rainbow Dash was asking Falling Star over and over again and every time he declined "But why?" Rainbow asked. "Because you're going to lose, now let's focus I need you to go high in the air and move around this obstacle course." Falling said pointing to a series of obstacles made out of clouds. "But I want to fight!" Rainbow complained "Plus that course is impossible to do at a fast time, there aren't enough space between clouds to move without losing speed and momentum." Rainbow explained and she was right it was a tight squeeze. Falling raised an eyebrow and grinned "Really? well I'll bet you 5 bits I can do it in 18 seconds or less." he said boastfully. "Bullshit! I'll bet you 10!" Rainbow shouted she prepared a timer and Falling got into a start-up position "3... 2... 1... GO!" Rainbow started the countdown and Falling was already gone "I can't wait to see him crash!" Rainbow thought but as Falling got to the first obstacle he passed through it easy, Rainbow wasn't surprised "The first one's easy but here's where he burns" Falling only smiled at the second ring he shifted his wings and body and let the wind carry him through the rings. Rainbow's jaw dropped and Falling returned to pick it back up, he checked his time which read: 16.00 he then raised a hoof towards Rainbow Dash "Where's my 10 bits" he grinned, Rainbow grumbled and gave him 10 bits. "How the heck did you do that?!" Rainbow asked expectantly. "You saw it didn't you?" Falling said pointing to his wings "I have complete maneuverability over my wings and when the wind is favorable, I can move almost anywhere, instantly." Rainbow's jaw dropped for the second time "If your skills are good enough, you can do it in a week." Falling said. Rainbow mumbled to herself "Shift my wings huh?" She shifted her wings and she crashed into an obstacle course right next to her, Falling's jaw dropped. "Never mind, if you work hard you'll be able to do it today." Falling said. "No way that hurt way too much just to shift my wings." Rainbow complained. "Her wings are so flexible, if she masters this she might be able to fly perfectly while at the speed of the Sonic Rainboom. Falling thought to himself, Falling wanted Rainbow to learn how to do this but she refused so he added... motivation " okay um... Oh! if you finish this obstacle course within 20 seconds I'll fight you!" that did it, Rainbow instantly got up and began to stretch. "Okay obstacle course you're going down!" Rainbow flew to the first cloud but got caught by Falling before she got through. "Baby steps Rainbow, baby steps" Falling told rainbow to instead of shifting her wings instantly slowly do it and get a feel for how to fly this way "okay now keep doing that for a while, it's up to you to gradually get faster at it." Falling said as he floated down to Pinkie Pie. "Wow you sure know how to fly Falling, I never thought that Dashie would have to learn how to fly again" Pinkie said with her usual excitement. "Yeah well, she's already an amazing flyer but now let's focus on what you'll be doing." Falling said blushing at the compliment. "yeah about that why am I with you? I mean shouldn't I be with Magnus since he is also an earth pony" Pinkie asked. Falling cleared his throat "Good question, but unlike most earth ponies you have an amazing amount of stamina and agility, just like a Pegasus's, no scratch that even better since wings won't keep you down, so I will train you to take advantage of that." as Falling explained he led Pinkie to a wide flat part of the desert "Okay this place is great, what I want you to do is simple" Falling pointed to a cactus that was very far away "run from here, to there by that cactus as fast as you can." the distance was 2 km away, Pinkie only nodded, still smiling. Falling got ready, he flew fast to the other end "Okay! 1! 2! 3! Go!". Pinkie Pie's smile stretched from one side of her face to the other, she got in a start-up position and repeatedly grinded her hoof against the ground like a bull and like a bull she puffed air out he noise, in one instant when Falling hit 1 she blasted towards the cactus with rings of sliced air behind her every step, Falling didn't even flinch at her speed but over a few short seconds he started sweating but Pinkie started to yell in joy "Waaaa hooooooooooo!!!!". Falling started to get his wings ready to fly away "Uh... she's not stopping... OH SHIIIIIITTTTTT!!!!!!!!" he managed to dodge Pinkie's swift kick and flew back "Hey, what was that for?" he asked keeping his wings ready to fly away in an instant, with his hooves up in a battle stance. Pinkie only ginned ominously but when she raised her head she had a big smile "Dashie isn't the only one who wants to fight you!" Pinkie said and right then; Falling had a face of surprise "If I beat you then I can take on any bad guy that tries to hurt my friends!" Pinkie Pie right then issued a challenge to Falling Star! Falling started to laugh which started to make Pinkie feel belittled but he spoke his true feelings "If you want to beat me then you're going to have to prove that even if I beat you within an inch of your life, you will keep on fighting and never give up but most of all..." his voice became darker and very intimidating and a big shadow loomed over Pinkie as the sun began to set "DO NOT UNDERESTIMATE THE ROYAL GUARDS" before Pinkie even realized it Falling was already behind her and she was shaking like crazy "But for now we're buddies, come on Rainbow looks like she's done her training let's go." and he left as Pinkie slowly followed him towards Rainbow dash. Pinkie was shaking and thought "oh boy! I can't wait to fight him I'm going to mess, him, up!" she was excited to do battle with somebody that could challenge her on a level beyond her, before Pinkie left to Canterlot she visited Zecora to ask if she knew about "Celestia's three Royal Guards", she entered her hut and was welcomed with a greeting that rhymed as usual "Hey wassup Zecora!" Pinkie greeted "Hey do you know anything of Celestia's three Royal Guards?" and Zecora slightly flinched enough for Pinkie to notice. "Yes, why do you ask?" and Pinkie was in complete shock when Zecora asked what was wrong, Pinkie only shook her head and said nothing. "That was the first time Zecora didn't rhyme!" She thought, "Are these Royal Guards that special?" throughout that evening Zecora told legends of these brave heroes that were found by Celestia and in their wake no evil can reach the hearts of the ponies in Equestria, Pinkie was amazed at these ponies and she now had one more thing to aspire to be... a hero. "Ok! let's see what you can do!" Falling shouted at Rainbow, it reminded her of her wonder-bolts academy instructor as she got ready to finish the course previously done by him. "Ready!" Rainbow wasn't in a normal start stance used to give extra acceleration at the start of her flight, it made Falling smirk. "Ok, she's got the starting stance down, you don't want speed to start with you want control." Falling thought as he got ready to press the button on the stop watch "3!... 2!... 1!... GO!" Falling pressed the button and rainbow raced of to the first ring, she swayed her body to the left to avoid the first obstacle and then she shifted the position of her wings, it caught enough wind and moved her safely to the side, she repeated this process until she came up to the final ring and she passed it flawlessly just like Falling. Rainbow Dash returned to Falling to check her time and Falling showed her the stop watch it read: 19.26 SEC she had made it through the condition and won the right to fight Falling Star a royal guard of incredible power. "Wow I haven't even broken a sweat, this is amazing!" Rainbow yelled to herself in victory. "Yeah well why would you? The wind is doing all the work." Falling said. Rainbow could hardly contain herself "Okay1 NOW LET'S FIGHT!" she shouted to Falling and he only sighed then said "A deal's a deal" they both got into fighting stances which surprised Falling "she's no stranger to fighting, with the new technique I showed her, she could actually beat me down a notch!" Falling thought but no pony moved, only silence as the dust brushed by and Rainbow cut the air and dust and was already an inch away from Falling but he managed to back off "So she made the first move, time to pay her back!" he seemed to float for a moment before slowly hovering to the side but each time he did a little afterimage stayed behind him until he surrounded Rainbow with his afterimages "This... this is unreal!" every where she looked there was Falling there watching her, she struck one of them but her hoof went inside of the afterimage and the afterimage just faded away. Meanwhile in Luna's secret lair Luna was sitting at a chair and in front of her was a monitor that showed Twilight talking with Stell and she had hoof up to her head "Boo-ring let's see how Rainbow and Falling is doing." she pressed a button and it changed what was on the monitor and Luna saw Rainbow Dash surrounded by lots of Fallings and she instantly knew what was happening, she left her chair and returned later with a bunch of popcorn and soda bottles "Hell yes! Rainbow is going to fight Falling, this should be great!" Luna mumbled as she filled her mouth with popcorn. Back in the Desert Rainbow was punched straight in the jaw and the blow was enough to send her flying "Ughghghg! this isn't good with him surrounding me like this, I'm a sitting duck like this, I need to blow him back and fight him... with that!" Rainbow just exploded and punched and swung her hooves everywhere, Falling didn't expect this from her and was blown back "Damn... I guess she's a bit rougher than I thought." Rainbow quickly took advantage of this and flew as high as fast as she could "Wait! is she going to use the Rainboom on me!... not good I have to stop her before she reaches a good enough height to start or else I'm going to get it!" Falling knew her plan and quickly rushed after her "Well I guess he caught on faster than I expected but!" Rainbow was reaching her destination faster than Falling could catch up. "Shit! she has a good point I need to fall back and avoid her rainboom" Rainbow stopped in mid-air and began free fall then... when she got more speed she reached her hooves in front of her, she was cutting the air around her and she was going even faster... then soon after she was only a blur and a Rainbow trail was fading in and out then... Boom! there was a large explosion of colors and Falling covered his eyes to not get dust in them "Oh no... where is she? I only took my eyes of her for a second!" Falling rapidly looked around and could not see Rainbow Dash but still heard a loud sound that was as if there was a plane taking off in your eardrums, "Wait a minute..." as soon as Falling looked around him he noticed that the clouds were surrounding him like a tornado and he was in the center!, he sent away his afterimages away as they would be useless to him. "I've seen this before, She's trapped me and she's going to strike from... above!" Falling looked above and saw Rainbow Dash approaching him as a rainbow blur and there was no place for him to go anymore! Rainbow dash hit the ground and the explosion was big enough to blast away the clouds into oblivion, all Falling could see was a white void and the ground being incinerated into nothing and the same thing was happening to him, he turned his head and saw Rainbow floating high above him with a look that said "You lost!" Falling was infuriated and jumped after her Rainbow was shocked "He still going after me?!" Rainbow thought "Do not underestimate me! I will not be taken down with one hit!" He was pissed and flew as fast as he could to Rainbow Dash "Ahhhhhhhhh!" they both screamed, neither backed down and both hit full force with their hooves but only one was still standing... Falling Star was high above Rainbow dash, she was lying on the floor staring at the stars, the rainboom that she hit the ground with moved the sky apart and revealed the space and star even though it was still daytime, it was only one patch of the sky that you could see the stars with and above Falling Star was above her, he was panting with cuts and bruises all over his body but even then his face showed no weakness it was as if he wasn't hurt at all and that face said "No! I Win!" Rainbow tried to get up but still couldn't even move her wings, she stared up high at him "Heh you win this one but I'll win next time! I guess this time... you're the star." and Falling nodded, he understood but while he was up there he really felt like a star like all around him. Pinkie saw this and only grinned "I guess it won't be that easy, Dashie." Later that day they left and Rainbow Dash healed enough to follow, they arrived to a frightened Fluttershy which was a common sight but something was different then they left through the Portal and was greeted by Celestia, Spike, and Luna with a bit of popcorn and then they left with the train but secretly without the others knowing as they were asleep on the train, Rainbow Dash came up to Twilight "Hey Twilight?" Twilight turned her head "Yes?" Twilight responded and noticed Rainbow Dash was a bit upset "Lets become strong okay?" Rainbow uttered, remembering her loss that day, Twilight smiled "Yeah we will" she said but then Rainbow Dash got closer to Twilight "then promise me, Cross My Heart and Hope to Fly, Stick a Cupcake in my Eye!" Twilight then noticed how much more serious Rainbow was and remembered her own shortcoming that day and did the Pinkie Promise "We will definitely become stronger, that's a Promise!" Twilight was serious then as well, Rainbow then relaxed "Good." she muttered then fell asleep.
