A Blue Christmas

''FLUTTERSHY!!!" Rainbow Dash yelled, flying over to the yellow pony's cottage. It was 5 days till Hearthswarming, and she knew some ponies were going over to family for the holidays, and she just wanted to ask her friends something before they left, or even if they weren't going to leave. Besides, Fluttershy couldn't say no to to Rainbow Dash or ANY of her friends, since she IS the element of kindness, after all. Rainbow knew what Fluttershy's answer would be.

"Um...no," Fluttershy said, backing away slowly, from Rainbow Dash. She knew how her friend was when someone says no to her. "Wha-what? But, I'm you best friend!" The rainbow haired mare said. she knew Fluttershy since flight camp, and Rainbow was Fluttershy's only friend back then! How could she say no? "I'm going over discord's house for the holidays, since he always comes here. And you know you guys don't exactly have a good relationship, and I really don't want there to be any fights this Hearthswarming, so, um... sorry." the mare said, hiding behind her hair, because she was scared from Rainbow Dash sometimes. " UGH! Fine! I'll go and ask appleJack-"Rainbow said, being interrupted.

AppleJack is going to pinkie pie's fillyhood house, for an 'Apple - Pie' family reunion. just thought, um... that I would say. Sorry." Fluttershy interrupted. "So, maybe ask twilight, or rarity. Just, a suggestion, though. But, Happy hearthswarming! Um, bye!" The yellow pony said, shutting the door, as fast as she could to get away from rainbow dash, since Fluttershy can tell when her friend is angry. The shy pegasus heard a bit of yelling from behind the door, while Rainbow Dash flew away. "Now how am not gonna be alone for the holidays?'' Rainbow said.

"She's gotta be home, I just know it!"  the speedy pegasus said, worried Twilight would be gone. when she got there, Rainbow Dash knocked on the door, hoping for an answer. She waited for 3 minutes, with no answer, so she decided to just walk in, hoping they were just sleeping.

When she got in the cutie mark map room, she saw a note on Twilight's throne. ' The princess and her assistant are out at the crystal empire for the Holidays. We will be back on the 27th of December.' "great. Just great. That leaves Rarity." the pegasus mumbled. She started out to Rarity's boutique, but when she walked out of the castle, she  found that it was snowing, which she totally forgot was planned today. And she forgot her hat, and boots. Even better.

"Oh! Well, hello there, Rainbow Dash! How are you doing this fine, evening?" the fashionista unicorn said. she was wearing a shiny Hearthswarming hat. "Hey Rarity! I was wondering, are you going anywhere for the holidays?" Rainbow Dash asked. This was her last chance of not being alone for the holidays.

"Well, obviously! I'm going to Canterlot with Sweetie belle and my parents! Why do you ask?" rarity said, wondering what the mare was up to. "Well, I was hoping I could spend the holidays with at least ONE of my friends, because I'm all alone, and besides, you always say, that your parents are crazy, and it would be weird spending the holidays with a few strangers." the cyan pegasus said, disappointed.

"Don't you have Tank?" the unicorn said. "Uh, he is in hibernation you know." Rainbow dash said, knowing that all her friends were there in her cloud home when Tank was in hibernation for the first time. she never under stood how they weren't falling through the clouds, though.

"oh. well sorry to hear that, darling. But happy  Hearthswarming! Goodbye, darling!" Rarity said, hoping for the best for her rainbow haired friend.

Rainbow dash flied away, starting to cry. " I guess I WILL be alone for Hearths warming."

"Muffins?" Derpy said, offering Rainbow a muffin, since she saw she was sad. she HATED to see her friends sad. But muffins always cheered her friends up when they were down. "Thanks, derpy. Happy Hearthswarming!" Rainbow dash said, taking a muffin from Derpy's muffin basket. She gave Derpy a bit for the muffin. even though she was clumsy, she was cheerful all the time. "Bye, Derpy!'' Rainbow waved goodbye, knowing that she still had the Ponyville Weather patrol.
