A dark past

it has been a week since they entered his dream, Rainbow wanted to know just a bit more about the past, there was about 3 years between the battle, and them meeting.

Rainbow and Applejack were about to go to Manehattan to see Coloratura and her husband Noel.

Also known as Axis's younger brother, by about 2 minutes according to their Mom.

Anyway Rainbow was at the trainstation with Applejack and Axis, Axis was saying his goodbyes. "I can't believe the map called you two to Manehattan, hasn't Applejack fixed a problem there before?"

Applejack was about to reply, though Rainbow said, "she did, though she needs to do it again, don't worry we will be safe."

Axis hugged her as she hugged him back. After a second the conductor shouted, "ALL ABOARD!"

They stopped hugging as she got onto the train, as it was departing he shouted, " TEXT ME WHEN YOU GET THERE!"

Applejack and Rainbow found a seat unoccupied and sat in it.

Applejack said, "ah can't believe you lied to him, hope he doesn't find out."

Rainbow replied, "if he does we can out walk him," they started to smirk.

1 trip and a lot of gossip later:

Rainbow Dash and Applejack walk out onto the busy streets of Manehattan, ponies were everywhere, lots of noise and tons constructions from the humans.

Rainbow Dash asked, "do you know where she lives?"

Applejack replied, "ah sure do sugarcube, come on."

After about 20 minutes of walking and flying over some crowds they reached the hospital, "do they live here?" Applejack laughed a bit and replied,

"of course not, Noel has to have physical therapy here at about once a week."

Rainbow Dash and Applejack entered the hospital, it was very nice, the wait room wasn't very full for once, the nurse at the counter was red with a white mane, her cutie mark is the human medical sign (if that is anyone's Oc please tell me, and I am sorry if it is).

They walked up to her, Rainbow Dash asked, "excuse me? But do you know where Coloratura and her husband are? We are her friends."

She looked at them and replied, "of course, they are in the physical therapy wing, take a right, two lefts, another right, head straight and it'll be right there."

They thanked her and made their way to them.

Some walking later they ran into the therapy wing, there was the left side which was mental therapy, the right physical, of course they went to the right.

After all there were a lot of ponies there looking like fans of Rara, Rainbow asked, "do you think they will have the time to see us, and maybe an autograph or two?"

Applejack replied, "of course they do, I am her friend."

They made their way past the small crowd of ponies and saw her, she was wearing the same outfit that was used during the concert (you know the one) and right outside the door to a room.

She saw Rainbow and Applejack, she said, "I will be back in a few minutes, hoofsies." (forgive me if I misspelled it ) She walked over to them, "hello, what brings you two to Manehattan, was it the map?"

Rainbow Dash replied, "actually we are here to see your husband, I have a few questions about what happened with Axis, could we see him?"

She giggled a bit, "of course you can, he is behind this door, come on." They were happy.

As she opened the door they saw a man, he had no legs, nor arms, and robot eyes. He was sitting, Rara asked, "hey honey, remember Rainbow Dash, the mare who married your brother?"

He looked at them and smiled, "well ah'll be, hold on the doctors are getting me the next line of prosthetic's, triple the speed of the previous model."

As he finished a unicorn doctor walked in with some robot arms, and legs, all that was needed to do was slide them into the sockets. The doctor said, "okay Noel, as usual you know to take it slow."

He got up, he fell down and hit his head, though he didn't even show the pain. Rara helped get him up, "so, why are you two here?"

Asked Noel, "actually the reason is that I want to know a little bit more about the war after the battle of Russia," said Rainbow.

Noel stood up straight and looked at her, "I-I-I can't-t, what they d-d-did to me, I can't!" He started to cry.

Rara was next to him wiping some of his tears off, "alright, I guess it's been long enough, I will tell you what I can about him and the mech walkers."

Rainbow and Applejack got interested, "after the battle of Russia the military saw my brother as a good soldier, so they recruited him for the walker program. You all know the robot suits that all our soldier's drive right?"

They nodded, "well he commanded the first squad of them, we were called the Titans.

Now all I know of him during those times was that he was vicious in battle. And unstoppable when it came to drinking, I remember he one time beat three Russians at drinking, I loved that night."

Rainbow replied, "wait, Axis doesn't drink, he said he hates beer,"

Noel laughed, "of course he stopped drinking once I was captured." Rainbow Dash and Applejack just stared at him, "what didn't I tell you two about how I was captured?"

They shock their heads, "hmm, well I guess I can tell you.

It was out 5th mission, we were checking out a small camp of the alien b***hs. Out of nowhere we were jumped, there were about 50 or so, we managed to kill most of them, but sadly one of them landed a grenade on my suit and blew it up, my legs were broken, I still don't know how I got out of the suit alive.

The aliens took me kicking and screaming all the way, my squad tried to get me back, but there were just to many of them. I was stuck in their alien torcher room for 2 years, I was out right before the meeting of Equestria.

They took my legs, arms, hearing, eyes, penis. Yes they cut it off, though I do now have a giant dildo where it was."

Rara nodded with a big smirk, Rainbow and Applejack blushed, "back on topic! I don't know anything with what happened with him, we caught up on war stuff, family, and the treaty with Equestria, I for one was shocked.

Soon I got a transfer to the Manehattan hospital so I could see these ponies for myself, shortly after that I met Rara, and now we're married, 2 years."

Applejack asked, "darn, that is a lot of stuff yer havin to deal with. Thank you for the story."

Rainbow Dash and Applejack left the hospital.
