Pair of aces

"Whoo hoo!"  A cyan pegasus roared as she flipped gracefully in the air. This Pegasus was none other than Rainbow Dash, Equestria's newest wonder bolt reserve. She soared through the the sky, dashing upwards then plummeting strait down, creating a boom of colors that dispersed throughout the sky. The crowd cheered as she landed, and a loud shout could be heard directly followed by a pink mare squeezing the cyan one. " Wow Dashie, That was the superset move that WAS EVER DONE EVER!!" She screamed. " Thanks pinkie pie, it was nothing special, I do it all the time" Rainbow boasted. " Naw Rainbow don't get too cocky, remember the last time that happened" an orange mare by the name of Apple jack said. Visions of that terrible time clouded the cyan mare's mind. "Yeah, I remember that" Rainbow chuckles. The rest of Rainbows friends finally came to congratulate her. "My my Rainbow , that was a marvelous performance" Rarity complemented. " Yeah it was... nice" Fluttershy responded. "Pretty cool" Twighlight said. " I have some books about some new moves you might want to try out". "Yeah, I'll check them out Twi" Rainbow lied. 'That's never gonna happen' she thought. " Wowee Dashie, you were just incredible today! The way you...." Rainbow stopped paying attention to what the mare said, but stared intently at her face. ' Her eyes, like the open sky' Rainbow thought. She smiled as the pink mare keep talking about how awesome she was. "So how bout a party Dashie?" "Hmm, sure Pinks why not" Rainbow responded, half listening to what Pinkie really said. " Okey dokey lokie, see everyone at eight" and at that Pinkie vanished, only leaving behind a pink streak. Rainbow, still lovestruck, just stood there. " Rainbow, are you okay?" Twighlight asked. Rainbow damped it of her confusion " Hmm? Yeah I'm good, uhh what's going on tonite?" "A party Rainbow, weren't you paying attention?" Fluttershy asked. " umm yeah of course" Rainbow said. " Well uh see you guys later" and with that Rainbow dash left. 'Uh oh, a party. What am I going to do'. As rainbow dashed away, Rarity looked  to the fleeing pegasus, "Interesting" she said. " What Rarity" Apple Jack asked. " Nothing of your concern darling" Rarity smirked and thought to herself ' my what an interesting party this will be".
